Hello guys! I hav 570 khash/s from AMD7870 on Lira2R. Is it good hasrate for these GPU?
Or it is not good?

this is what Nvidia 750 TI does for me approx 600K,  I think your hashrate should be higher its a stronger card but and > electrical

LTCMAXMYR - ok, 702mh/s is still massive in comparison.

Have you tried my pool since we have adjusted. Just for statistical purposes I'd be interested to know.
i tried over ten minutes, it still wrong,the speed shows 2,458,958 kh/s,it is impossible,indeed 702M +-10M
i don't know what's wrong,

you sure not seeing "rejects" because with when I set -diff 1024 my MHS doubles but no shares
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin - First Scrypt N | First Stealth Address - Privacy without mixer on: December 14, 2014, 04:04:00 PM
@LTCMAXMYR can you please leave your GIANT rig at https://pool.verters.com because you find blocks, time is more or less same everywhere, or do half day here half day there thanks much  Cool

woo 23K VERT per day, nice one, you can start an exchange because their wallets have same amounts  Cool

@TheCoinFinder hi thanks for the pool nice job on the UI looks clean.. so here is the thing I was running this below (using CUDA)

ccminer --algo=lyra2 --diff 1024 -o stratum+tcp://pool.verters.com:4444

then suddenly this morning above no longer worked ("above the target") messages

so I adjusted to

ccminer --algo=lyra2 --diff 250 -o stratum+tcp://pool.verters.com:4444

and all good, shares are accepted, but MHS went down... (by half)

do you know or advice what the diff should optimum for default port and your pool ?

thanks much!

very strange "behaviors" on pools, lyra2re is new, maybe prudent to wait a little...  Cool very slow to find a block (and many rejects above the target, this just started to happen) and I see some decent hash been thrown , (ie "the_big_farm") , see how it goes because lyra2 still eats electricity however less than scrypt-n and amazing enough a critical defect was found in there, wonder if someone took an advantage anyone knows ?
the_big_farm is my proxy miner.
VTC change to new algo, without ASIC dump, the market will be smooth rising.
meantime, the diff is low,i swap most hashpower for this coin.
ASIC killed many coins,VTC will be a good choice for GPU miner.
optimize the miner software is under way
i checked the LYRA2RE algo, Bandwidth is the maximum limits on its performance,
it is hard to looking for a shortcut, performance is proportional to the price of GPU card, and no fear of ASIC

thanks and I agree, read somewhere it is next to impossible to construct asic for lyra2, scrypt-n was breaking my electrical circuit box,.. so that is good, although people moved on onto other coins with some time I am sure they will be coming back, and then difficulty goes up prices goes up and everyone is happy, thanks again, nice rig you have got there

one word for you there is never going to be an ASIC for it, conceptually impossible, please argue otherwise, you all lucky you (top 100)

Just bought myself some(;

holding n-thousands of MAX , see absolutely 0 problem with the coin, also have Start but % of Max

Hi there

first I acquired substantial stake in VPN coin and thanks for the opportunity much innovation here + supernet + China market all great elements

second, I am trying to assemble either OSX or Linux wallet binaries from sources, it appears github for VPN is incomplete

https://github.com/Bit-Net/VpnCoin

is missing src/qt   folder and assembly fails of course

can any one yield info/help with this ? thanks much!

So to all my money i put in BBR at 7x of nows price i can say bay bay?

I swallowed big chunk call me a barracuda. here is the thing, I complained months ago "I can not mine boolberry, you need a supercomputer"

I dont see developer leaving the coin he simply moved to another country and will engage in second coin cause he is an engineer likes to "do stuff" I see 0 problem, scratchpad is a fantastic achievement maybe not to short term traders to me it is

also dont dare to change name of the coin as well as keep analyzing all other cryptonight coins and patch in areas they do patching (constant) otherwise thanks for the opportunity

1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New version 1.1.5 on: December 10, 2014, 11:14:04 AM
Looks like the network size has dropped 55% in the past 3 days. Currently running around 5.8 PB while we where over 13 just a few days ago. Lets see if the difficulty drops. In combination with the price climbing this morning, its looking pretty good for us small time miners Wink

Difficulty doesn't go in a smooth curve. The difficulty adjustment is design in such a way that big spikes are common.

rather incredibly smart design as the person said before it gives a chance for small time accumulation and distribution something self am big on in crypto in general (for long term success and duration)

also found recent pool bonus structure and subsequent payouts spanning many accounts to be an excellent strategy for pool owners/asset owners and miners of course.. it is all going excellent, there is top level accumulation (in millions of BURST) but number of accounts in general with strong holding has grown over time, this is excellent..

bittrex market price is climbing.. slowly but surely , low volume but that is because few if any are selling, anyways... very interesting all of this
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New version 1.1.5 on: December 10, 2014, 11:00:09 AM
BURST might be one of the KEY developments in crypto since blockchain innovation by bitcoin, I still can not wrap my head around on technology impact of using storage for proof of hash, it is between us, one crazy wild idea that might just work, that no one is selling I am not surprised

Burst is not just about HDD mining , it has asset management feature and a whole lot more coming soon. Ask the developer for more info !

no, I understand I attempted to purchase asset for profit share in one of the major pools here, but asking price is too high and cutting on the edge of profitability/exchange price and hardware costs, noticed someone bought 51% of total of that asset, getting something like 100K BURST's in a single payout

network capacity is "oscillating" (with spikes up to 16 T) in a chaotic pattern with no direct correlation to time of day, one can not predict when capacity is low and when it is high, if one could one could optimize mining to a degree...

it is also wild that while everything is going down in the crypto market BURST is going up
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New version 1.1.5 on: December 10, 2014, 10:48:58 AM
magnetic data storage capacity is doubling every 18 months, if someone has a better chart please provide, for example more data center (cloud) centric forecast etc

1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LTCD] LitecoinDark ★ Scrypt ★ Difficulty Shield ★ Multipool ★ Fast on: December 09, 2014, 10:30:09 AM
just keep on target, developing having fun in the process, crypto is not a war although some think it is  Cool

and make my 40K proud please it is when reward was 4,000 I think I don't remember now now is what 1 coin ? it is great supply/demand , just keep on adding stuff and updating this thread even if once a week but consistent! if you do that price will rise and next year it will rise even more because something is telling me smart money has been accumulating on low both price and difficulty (if mining)

quickly checking bittrex.. let's see not that it matters , intra day that is software updates matter..

good! not 1 satoshi ... kidding kidding... so yeah stay on target as if nothing is happening keep on updating "core" wallet polishing it to perfection , speak soon

a! one more thing for I almost have forgotten,  there is a known strategy known as exchange arbitrage by bots, since there is a price difference between cryptsy and bittrex LTCD is very likely victim of an arbitrage so that depresses the price, many coins are affected but since this is "just" traders game for now we hope it will unroll to something useful crypto in general that is like commerce.. otherwise sure it is all abstract and sure people lose and gain money like a big game.. it is fun though.. but I hope for real use one day, see what happens

aaaaand one more thing.. if you stay on target and sharpen skills (you probably have them) but infrastructure maybe some innovation in some specific sector, look at BTCD (not pushing this coin dont like to cross post few exception) in some ways concepts of LTCD are similar, BTCD is now core part of the Supernet and that gets people excited

so that's that
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New version 1.1.5 on: December 08, 2014, 03:52:28 PM
network capacity keeps oscillating, also I am surprised but blame exchange arbitrage "bots" on the market price situation given expensive magnetic storage, continuous reduction of coin supply and rising difficulty level (even with the oscillations which gives some breathing room to the miners but not that much) so something definitely is going to happen

on the comment above, this is one brave commitment to unload GPU such as 750 TI's for disk storage but I understand need to cut energy costs, I am sure many are contemplating this as with internal disks and USB one can really slash electricity bill

also hopefully people involved with the supernet are watching this thread as they could incorporate BURST into their suite as unique POS solution

Its nothing brave. GPU mining is dying during that period of time , it's either i sold all and quit crypto or i take a risk mining HDD. In whichever case , i will sell my GPU because margin is very low and low BTC price make it worst because cash is needed to pay for electricity every month. For burst , i don't even need to sell to pay for electricity , i can afford to pay for it since it's not a big sum.

I read you is just 750 is such a great card but I understand Cool
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [METAL] MetalCoin | Marketplace Release Date 20th December on: December 08, 2014, 03:47:42 PM
a roadmap that is real and honest with timelines even if they are far into the future but need to be consistent and market will reward you trust me, even if you make an update once a week (and many fail to do even that)

I feel lack of consistency and real (nor exaggerated, to the capability) planning and execution is hurting many, I promise you if you keep updating thread every week or so (and btw selves you can not burn out or get bored etc) market will reward you also while you doing it you might come up with some unique solution for commerce or an exchange some innovation and that is a plus too, and rest is great as you are wrapping music interest into digital currency and that is very cool

also it is not like there is going to be 10 metal theme coins (there seems to be 2 and that is fine) and you both are first ever created, so that will carry itself to the future

I would also watch innovations outside your coin study solutions and creatively integrate to own operation

cheers
