1861  Other / Off-topic / Re: Blogging on: June 29, 2016, 07:31:22 AM
I am planning to start my own blog but I don't know which part to start.
Also is it possible to monetize a blog? Also can the publishing be automated or should it be done manually?
Any help would be appreciated.
Also do you think it's possible to manage a blog on a phone? I don't usually use my pc. I prefer using my phone. Cheesy

What do you mean by which part to start?
Yes, it is possible to monetize a blog (you can do this through adsense, affiliate programs or selling your own goods).
The content can be automated however it would be best if you did it manually (as in write it yourself)

Yes it is possible to manage a blog on a phone but not do any major changes to the site, so it would be likely for you to use either wordpress or blogger.

You are using a open source faucet/dice script

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1262247.0

Which I've then modified.

+ Admin Panel
+ Added User Sessions
+ Added Total User Withdrawal
+ Block Ad Block
+ Bootstrap NavBar
+ More

The faucet only gives out 40,000 Satoshis a day, unlike other faucets.

I used to run a normal faucetbox script faucet, which gave over 1 million satoshis a day.

The site is still relatively new (only 1 month old) so it hasn't reached it's full potential yet.

It's also newb friendly to setup

1866  Economy / Auctions / Re: Faucet Auction | Freetoshi.com Faucet + Dice | 9,000+ Users | 78,000+ Rolls on: June 27, 2016, 01:23:57 AM
could you gave the amount of user per day and the amount of income you get per day?

Users per day: Around 1500 Users a day
Games per day: 5000++~~
Income: $2-3 / Day (Depends if users were lucky or not)
1867  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [BTC] FREETOSHI.COM | Adsense Banned | For Sale on: June 27, 2016, 01:13:11 AM
And faucet is now on auction due to a recent ban from adsense.
1868  Economy / Auctions / Faucet Auction | Freetoshi.com Faucet + Dice | 9,000+ Users | 78,000+ Rolls on: June 27, 2016, 01:12:21 AM

FreeToshi.com A unique Faucet with 9,000+ Users and 78,000+ Rolls

Unlike other faucets, we have a unique source code which also provides players a dice game to let them win more!

Along with the faucet and dice there is a clean administration panel to watch the site.

Reason for sale

We are selling the site because we were recently banned by Adsense and no longer wish to work with faucets.
The winner of this auction will be transferred the domain via 'GoDaddy Account Change' and a 'DigitalOcean snapshot'. The source of the site will also be sent to them via bitcointalk. Current user data on the site will be removed for privacy reasons.

Starting Auction Price: 0.1 BTC
Minimum Increment: 0.01 BTC
Auction Ends 24 hours after Last bid
Escrow will be used if necessary

Faucet is back online now.

Was offline for a few days for me to slim down the code Cheesy

Give me a hard website to clone Tongue

Archive.org

You would basically be cloning the internet.
1871  Economy / Services / Re: Will clone and copy any website and send you all the files on: June 23, 2016, 01:50:05 PM
So you press Ctrl + S on every page and save it to a folder? How is that useful?
Maybe you want to use it for offline viewing for some reason? Or maybe you wanted to create a similar website. Don't think he uses Control + S though, since it is too much work. He probably uses HTTrack (free program) to do it. OP - Your title is misleading, based on the stuff you said. If I buy your service, I expect all the files, based on your title. Will I get the backend at all? Nope. Will I get the DB? Nope. The DB/backend is part of "all the files" though.

I use a $120 premium software for this, just cause it seems to work much smoother than HTTrack, has less bugs, and doesn't take like 2 weeks to clone one single website. Basically this service is just for you to save time and effort.
And yeah, you're right, I do not clone databases.
But if anyone is curious, I'm cloning bitcointalk right now, and it's going great so far! Looks identical. I will be making a free website to put the bitcointalk clone up as a demo.
And really, like said before, this service is for the lazy ones. Just like, technically, most other services.

... What am i reading...

1. You paid $120 for a program which has the same functionality as many free programs.
2. You're cloning bitcointalk... if you look at the top right of the page it says 'Simple Machine Forums' which is an open source forum...
3. Once you put up the bitcointalk clone, you won't be able to get any new posts that you didn't download. So basically it would be like bitcointa.lk but without the crawlers...
1872  Economy / Services / Re: 25000 satoshi or random steam game everytime you complete a survey on: June 23, 2016, 01:36:53 PM
This sounds way too good to be true.

Also 25,000 Satoshis is like 20 cents?
What game on steam has a similar value other than the free games?

Either we're gonna get the satoshi reward every time we do the surveys or there's some other catch to this.
1873  Economy / Services / Re: Need a PHP developer on: June 23, 2016, 01:33:00 PM
Whats wrong with using open source projects like opencart?

Everything's already set up for you and you can choose the plugins you want for your site.

1874  Economy / Services / Re: Code freebie on: June 23, 2016, 01:32:07 PM
Code:
<a href="http://www.freebiebitcoin.com">Earn free bitcoin</a>
Here is my first code

lol

May as well go ahead and delete this post cause a moderator will do it for you soon. Referral codes are not allowed or other spammy trash that this seems to be. Might at least move this to off topic

Theoretically it isn't a referral code, it is as the title suggests, a 'code freebie', however OP is being sarcastic (at least i think he is) by giving out a single line of code which is a link to his website.

1875  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it possible to clone or copy coin 1:1 on: June 21, 2016, 11:23:49 PM
I was asking myself if it is possible to clone a coin 1:1, mine a lot of coins and sell them as real coins

For example i copy the sourcecode of SC nd mine those coins on my Laptop, since Im the only 1 mining this (clone, copy) Iit would be easy to mine lots of them

What mechanism prevents that from happening??

We all know the Federal reserve Bank has the right to print Dollars and in the Bitcoin System everyone can mine Bitcoin but what stops me -besides the knowledge- from cloning those coins and kind of faking them

Has anyone ever tried that??

Basically, if you were to make your own 1:1 coin either:

1. You would connect to the real chain and it wouldn't really be a clone.

2. You could remove the nodes and start your own chain but you couldn't get back into the real chain because:

a. Your blocks wouldn't match the existing blocks
b. You are the only one who's mining these clone blocks and all the other nodes aren't verifying them, therefore the other nodes overrule  you and your client deletes all your blocks and makes your coins unusable.
1876  Other / Off-topic / Re: The First Thing You Bought? on: June 21, 2016, 11:13:43 PM
The first thing i bought with bitcoin was trezor rofl..
1877  Other / Archival / Re: Do you have paypal account even though you have bitcoin? on: June 21, 2016, 11:12:52 PM
I still use paypal because not every site accepts bitcoin and it's still relatively inconvenient to buy bitcoins.

1878  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: June 21, 2016, 11:04:33 PM
Do you guys (primedice) own CSGO Diamonds? or did they use source etc?

A lot of people have reached out to me about this recently. There's no affiliation, Primedice is the original 'dicing' website, I'm guessing that's another clone.

Isn't there anything against people copying your code? It's not like they're a small website, they make way a crap tonne of money in csgo skins.

Aren't they supposed to buy a license to use the source? (to use it legally)

Like csgo crash came out, they bought a license from bust-a-bit
