1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My opinion about ETH on: January 31, 2018, 01:09:05 PM
In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?
No, the Ethereum platform has long been the most used platform for the new ico project but the price is relatively stable.
1422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to crypto. Should I buy Tron TRX? on: January 30, 2018, 11:23:12 AM
Hey guys,

I actually started investing in crypto (XLM,XRP,XMR,BTC,ETH,LTC,EOS,VEN) quite lately.

Shall I buy TRX now that is going down? What do you think about the game?

Cheers!
Better not buy it, for now TRON not so potential, I suggest you focus to buy Stellar Lumen because this coin has great potential in this year or you will regret.

1426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why many altcoin is important on: January 29, 2018, 10:44:38 AM
Many people asking why there are a lot of altcoins, and they suggest limits the altcoin making should be done.

The reasons why I don't agree to limits the altcoin aside from the reason of decentralization.

Here are the few;
1.   The monopoly of market will be avoided.
2.   There is a competition of prices in the market  that can limit the price of the stellar cryptocurrency to overshoot.
3.   Altcoins can cause unpredictable fluctuation of prices in the market. Fluctuation of prices result revenue for the traders/investors.
4.   New and small investors/traders will be given a chance to trade in the market.
5.   There is a healthy circulation of money in the market because hoarding/holding will be prevented.
6.   Exchange site/market can gain also a suitable amount.
7.     Bounty campaign will be continued to progress.

The point you mentioned is true but there are still contra that is emerging of shitcoin , I've heard rumors about Theymos will make a coin or token audit team but lately reportedly has never reappeared, even though the team is very helpful if it is formed.

1428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet Vs Exchange on: January 27, 2018, 08:45:08 AM
The minus of hardware wallets is that if you want to sell, you definitely will not get the highest price.
But the advantages, your coins are more secure than stored in the exchange
1429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice for Newbies - Day trading VS Long Term - POLL on: January 27, 2018, 08:35:28 AM
I know this has been looong way discutated arrund here but I did not saw a poll for this and to know how the bitcointalk community.

A few words for your choise will also help, cheers!
It depends on many things like:
- Your job
- Already married or not
- The amount of the bill you have
==
If you are a married person and make the crypto currency only as your side job, choose long-term benefits.
But if you are a married person and make the crypto currency as your main livelihood, of course you must choose short-term profits.
and many other scenarios.
1430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl bitcoin or split it in many altcoins ??? on: January 26, 2018, 01:27:30 PM
Hello there right now I am holding exactly 1 bitcoin....what should i do with that... should I hold only in bitcoin or should I split some of it into other coins... if yes then which ones and how much
it depends on your decision, do you want to earn a small profit every day or get a big profit every bitcoin price up? if i have 1 btc, better to split into some altcoin.

1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH v NEO on: January 25, 2018, 10:09:13 AM
Comparing Neo to Ethereum such as comparing teenagers with toddlers, Ethereum is already used by all people in the world whereas Neo majority is only used by Chinese citizens only.

1437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Guide to Avoid Scams on: January 24, 2018, 11:01:19 AM
I think we need this stickied.

We need a guide to safety looking for alt coins, knowing what to look for in order to identify a scam.

First rule; Spelling errors.

I am very new to alt-coins, so I'm sure many of you have some advice to give.

I think you should create a thread in Scam Accusations if you want a serious discussion. little tips from me, use escrow.
1438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market correction on: January 23, 2018, 04:45:53 PM

1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not rush to enter the game on: January 23, 2018, 04:33:05 PM
I dont know what to say to be sure. But my investment decreasing slowly everyday, yeah there nothing i can do with the bitcoin or another coin price but only hold and buy more coin is what i can do for now.
ignore your loss, if you still have money then wait when the price of your portofolio coin goes up 1% then you all-in, your loss will be covered by the profit.
1440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hi everyone! on: January 23, 2018, 03:54:15 PM
Hi,

I'm pretty new to crypto but it's been all over the news lately so I thought I would dip a toe into the water. I joined up to meet others who might be a bit more in the know than me. Im worried I may have jumped in on a downswing but my friends tell me thats only temporary in the world of crypto. I was thinking I might try ICO's but not sure where to look or even where to start! Is this in your opinion a good place to start? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
the easiest way for newbie to choosing a potential ico project is from an ico valuation platform like icobench or ico platform like kickico.
