Got tracking number today  Smiley Cheesy Cool Kiss
el_rlee (Guy's),
Congrats el_rlee!!!
Could you be so kind to post your order date and store status - guest/registered user (not your user name just if you have account) at avalon store. It will help to us who are still waiting

Thank You!

1862  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [AVALON] - I got my ASIC Thread (Batch #2) on: May 29, 2013, 02:13:39 PM
Guy's

Has anyone got their batch 2 Unit(s) without having an account in Avalon store? I mean ordered as guest.

10X

No one has received a batch 2 order that was purchased as guest at this time. At least no one that has posted up.
Thank you wknight

I purchased mine as a guest which was not a wise decision

And you send the message to the whole channel or to someone?

I cried myself a river in the channel (quite literally).

Cheesy
Thanks Dude!
1866  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [AVALON] - I got my ASIC Thread (Batch #2) on: May 29, 2013, 11:18:05 AM

I sent them an email, a PM, an irc message and a new support ticket. Apparently someone read one of those as my shipping method was switched to DHL and I received a new updated on my order with a new shipping number; but no direct response "Sir, your request has been processed" sort of thing. So I have no idea what method was successful in contacting them. It appears they're trying to get their CS together. Hope everyone else with issues gets them sorted timely.

senseless, I am wondering on which server channel did you send them IRC message

Sorry for the website being down this morning.

I have found the bug that is causing this in a software component I'm using, and reported it to the people making it. Not sure if they are doing anything about it (yet). I'm looking into a workaround that should fix the issue.

All work is recorded and blocks are found independently of the website, so no worries about that. Payments also go out. The mining server has a failsafe mechanism that kicks in if it is unable to record work, at which time it begins to give you errors every time you talk to it. That's to ensure that you can either mine and get paid, or you can't mine (on that server).

You are the Man DOC!

Thank you

site is down , again
expect next block 99 % +
and stale too
unfortunately its time to move to another pool
cannot afford to mine 24 hours and get 4-5 blocks
Dude,

There are good and bad times. As overall we are +. You need to be patient. However the choice is yours dude. I am mining here since i started and i will never move to another pool.

1870  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: May 28, 2013, 01:24:27 PM
Good news guys. They have indeed started shipping the remaining second batch. Just got a DHL tracking number. Order was placed on the 3rd. Fingers crossed that the unit arrives in a good condition.

Cheers
Congrats!
1871  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [3] countdown! on: May 28, 2013, 07:27:54 AM
after speaking to yifu at the bitcoin conference I'm positive my batch 3 order will be shipping by the 19th of June.
I think my bfl orders may never come now.
Super!
Which means that all batch2 and batch2 trade-ins shall be delivered first unless you are "special"

That are good news for all batch2 customers
There are only two weeks left Smiley
1872  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [12 TH/s] BitMinter.com [ASIC support: var diff, Stratum, GBT, rollntime] on: May 22, 2013, 10:26:53 PM
also
the amount of blocks over 95 % is beyond anything reasonable
just count the number of them and compare to the amount of blocks under 5 %
ud be surprised

Dude,
I do not know about blocks over 95% but my incom for last three days are at least 10% over calculations

And i am happy. There are a bad days of course but as overall i am really happy
1873  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Avalon Asic] trade-in Thread on: May 22, 2013, 02:51:30 PM
Anybody got any updates?  Email, phone call, rumor?
No mention of trade-ins at Bitcoin2013?
Nothing plain zero we have to wait  Cry
1874  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Sofia , Bulgaria Klondike assembly on: May 22, 2013, 08:44:21 AM
Hehe, ok dobre, blagodaria! Smiley
Albert,
marto is doing his best to provide you the lowest prices available. Everyone can take advantage of it. for instance a German guy (i am not bashing at him he just lives in Germany where everything is expensive compared to BG ) was offering klondike CNC heatsinks for 6-7 EU each. marto's CNC hetsink price was less than 4 Eu if i remember correctly. Same will come with PCB/assembly i am sure

Watch this tread for any coming changes  Smiley

Let us know how it goes
The troublesome unit ran with a RaspberryPi all night and had no issues that I could see.  I don't have a hashrate grapher set up yet, but there were no errors displayed by cgminer, and the average hashrate was a sold 66 GH/s.

I then reconnected it to the TP-Link and let that run for half an hour.  Same problems.  So it's most likely a bad TP-Link.  She's back on the RaspberryPi, and I'll just keep it there.  I may even connect all the Avalons to the RasPi and/or BeagleBone Black.  Thanks to the little holes in the Avalon's case, it's easy to bring out the USB cable and still have the case closed.

So now I'm porting over all the misc. Avalon scripts to the RasPi, and looking around for a useful web interface so I can get quick stats without ssh-ing in all the time.

fpgaminer,

great news!  I've tried building cgminer for avalon on a spare linux box i had laying around.  Tried following these instructions:

http://en.qi-hardware.com/wiki/Avalon#How_to_Compile_Your_Own_WR703N_Firmware_for_Avalon

When i get to:

Quote
cp -R cgminer-openwrt-packages/cgminer openwrt/package

i get the following error:
Quote
root@ubuntu:~/avalon# cp -R cgminer-openwrt-packages/cgminer openwrt/package
cp: cannot create directory `openwrt/package': No such file or directory

Any help?  Anyone?  TIA.

Dude,
no hard feelings but if you can not handle simple cp (none existent dir error) it is not for you
check your path and so on
What you are trying to achieve?
Available FW works great!
1877  Bitcoin / Hardware / Avalon Batch1 bitstream update - to Avalon team on: May 19, 2013, 08:26:43 AM
Guy's

You have released the bitstream at
https://github.com/BitSyncom/avalon-ref/tree/master/FPGA
Thank you very much for that!
I do have (and all Lancelot owners) xilix programmer and I am wondering if that bitstream is compatible with the Avalon batch1 units. Are there any bugs fixed and shall we upgrade?
Do you recommend us upgrading or not?

Thank you in advance!

I would be glad if the 10 BTC I just sent to your address (1BvpJvejSmtWjuDfytZL5HTBUjoXokazp9) could help you to at least cover some expenses on your way to a working prototype. Let me know when you need more. Additionally, I have you on my list for projects to receive a portion of the chip samples (so no need to destroy working Avalons for that, folks).

Best of Luck,
zefir

Zefir,

Thank you very much for your support and especially donating to BKK.

And pls do not worry we will (Personally me) destroy our (mine) avalons only we had to Smiley
Let us hope that sample chips will be available before that

Best!
PS: I am wandering why none with broken PCB is willing to sell it but it is another story
1880  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: I'm starting to get fucking pissed (BFL) on: May 18, 2013, 11:14:32 AM

No one will go Court every one here have small order he wont losse his time for 2k~5k *i think

I'm in Texas. I can't imagine BFL customers traveling to Kansas for this. I got a lot going on right now. I should just get what I paid for.

That is your problem as i said you are going to loose. You do not realise that your 2-5K are lost already do you? You will get 9 BTC refund at top for 1000 USd invested (90 BTC or so math maight be wrong just an example). That is just ridiculous
Any way i am not trying to get in fight with you but with your thinking you are gonna be victims. The weakest BFL point is that they are US business and US citizens also.

I feel sorry for you guys...I do really wish you to have your BFL toys soon and to enjoy
Good luck!
