The attacker was able to empty the balance on accounts with the API key enabled. The issue is being actively looked upon. API access has been disabled.

Everyone who has lost money will be fully reimbursed.

pretty scary. luckily my coins are intact. I have never enabled the API keys.

I will definitely be picking up a few shares.  Do you have any thoughts on specific cities yet?  I'm guessing San Francisco and New York City are obviously high on the list.

Would love to see this Robocoins installed in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. We have plenty of tourists and expats here. PM me.

Scammer should of thought of that before committing immoral act rather than thinking he can get away with stealing without facing consequences. Beside, street justice doesn't mean death. He will most likely get beaten up badly and have to pay back whatever he has stolen if he ever get caught.

What is your interest with him anyway?

No interest. Just wonder many people already scam by him

Lots, that's what I heard from someone who is from Sunil's hometown in Ipoh.

To Singapore  based Bitcoiners... if anyone is interested in buying Gigahashes for BTC mining and at the same time you can use it for Trading.

You can try to check this site :

https://cex.io CEX.io Bitcoin Commodity Exchange

And here is my referal link :

thanks for your time.  Grin

So instead of mining, you can earn profit by trading cexIO Gigahashes ?
1870  Economy / Securities / Re: [Havelock] The Panama Fund, S.A. Acquires HavelockInvestments.com on: November 02, 2013, 01:01:42 AM
there's a really simple explanation that seems reasonable to me.

If I wanted to shift jurisdictions, I'd buy an established shelf company in the jurisdiction I want to move to, then have that shelf company "buy" the ownership shares from whatever entity owns it now.

It's very likely that's all they're doing - just moving the corporate entity to Panama for legal/tax reasons.

Yeah, i'm with you on that, but suggesting that this shell game makes the new entity "licensed" or on different legal footing when it comes to dealing with US customers is simply bull.

If the servers were actually in Panama, that would be another story...

And where are the servers located?

1874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCoin: New Protocol Layer Starting From “The Exodus Address” on: October 31, 2013, 02:27:45 AM
hi everybody,

i am new here and please excuse my englisch Cheesy

i read about the problems about to be accepted from the bitcoin nodes etc.
- dacoinminster you wrote about "to be a good bitcoinchain citizen"

- my question or idea would be to give the miners in the bitcoin blockchain a reward for there work. Like you would take MSC transactionfee and will be transfering the money to the block miner every period
- you would get marketing in this way, then the miners will do something with this free coins and in the long run a healthy interest from the bitcoin miners to hold the Mastercoin in there network. So the level of conflict could be deascaleted.

Maybe you discussed this point already and i missed it.

Keep up everybody with this cool project.

TR

Yes, MasterCoin transactions include a transaction fee for the miner. I support making the default fee fairly generous for exactly that reason Smiley

How about including a msc transaction fee on top of the btc fee for the miners?

And how would a miner receive the MSC TX fee if the miner doesn't know anything about MSC itself?
Would the MSC fee be kept in "pending" status until the miner accepts the MSC TX fees?
Just my 2 satoshis.

way to expensive. good luck with selling these to noobs

I'm sure noobs don't mind buying it for the novelty factor.
I definitely won't buy it just for mining sake.
1878  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: growcoins.com on: October 30, 2013, 12:01:41 PM
Well I invested .1 btc 18 days ago and the investment matured up to 10 days old and has been hung there for 8 days. Sent an email over 24 hrs. ago and still no response. I sent another email earlier and am waiting to hear back. Do Not Invest. I was your guinea pig and it don't look good.

smells like ponzi and scam, stay away then.

This 1mil is nothing, what worries me more is the seized bitcoins(BTC140,000) by FBI.

why do you worry?

The more bears in the forum, the better.  Cheesy

Golden rule: Bears are bulls that are caught short of their full position. They try to talk the price down. It never works, so they have to buy higher, increasing the price even more in the process.

Read my old post even I growled a week ago in want of $150 coins that never happened. Bought back at $195.

We all want it to go up, but its a little arrogant to think we can't go back down. We certainly can. We can go back to <195 or <150 or lower.

Probably not tomorrow, but things could certainly happen.

We would not need to reverse trend down for more than a handful or days or weeks to go below 195 again. And even if this thing goes to 300, we could easily flash crash to <150.

I think we hang out in a $20-$40 range for a bit before testing the ATHs early next year, but that doesn't mean even 2014 want see some days (or hours) under 150.

Last time we broke an ATH, the "bubble" continued to inflate 8 times higher before crashing/correcting...

So we can expect a new ATH somewhere between $1500 and $2500, followed by a crash to "below $500" and a new stable price around $1000...

Just wait and see.

I was thinking the same thing. My crystal balls says it will happen end of Dec 2013. Don't quote me.
