The user is interested in pushing forward the "dean is innocent" and "if you post about betking then you are damaging investors chances of getting money back" narratives.....  but to the majority it has been clearly exposed that Dean Nolan is a serial scammer.

I have two bottles of Hirsch left and a single bottle of Royal Rye.  Prices lowered in hopes of a quick sale.  Trades are welcome too!

I also have Yamazaki bottles in!

I should really dig up some old JayJuanGee shitposts and get a good lol at how time makes him look like a dipshit.

Blockchain.com (AKA Blockchain.info) is basically altcoin central now because the market is shifting away from BTC because people aren't fans of waking up to $150 txid fees.  *shocker*

Want to know why Bitcoin is about to slip under 60% dominance in the cryptocurrency market?  Because lots of people lost lots of faith in it... who cares if you got a few rich dipshits holding the hundred billion dollar market up with a few hundred million bucks... it's the market that you want vs just a few rich dicks.  "He can move $100 million dollars for $200, that's a great deal!"... but that dude that's trying to pay his $500 rent is also paying $200 to move his coins.  It's a bad deal.

Ever try to sell a Bitcoin to normal people at these levels?  You'll starve.  You got to go to certain places that have these few rich dick funds.  Bitcoin is way overpriced right now and the market is doing speed wobbles.

I expect Bitcoin under $5,000 by OCT.

Now they refunded the failed withdrawal, I proceeded with another one, and also this one shows as "COMPLETE" with txid, but the txid is not present on the explorer.
I have had several mishaps with CLAMs on Poloniex in the past, but this time is starting to get ridiculous... And yes, replies from the customer care team are void of useful information.

I've also experienced it like you, and I don't understand what really happened, I sent a ticket to their team but there was no reply at all maybe someone can help me here

This is going to happen almost every time... it's a full time job dealing with Poloniex.

Use Swap and you'll never have to wait for your coins.  Buy and sell CLAMS for BTC, ETH, DOGE, XMR, DGB in minutes with no account or sign up.

No ICO. Did those even exist in 2014?

I think they were either called premined coins or IPO's still then.

I think CLAM was the first coin to be entirely given away to the private keys of previously existing coins, so it really was a new thing at the time.

I don't think the terms ICO or IPO really apply to CLAM, since all the coins were given away for free. There was no "offering".

I didn't mean that it applied to CLAM.  I just meant "that crowd" was using those terms for their stuff.

CLAM was different for sure.  You're right.

FreiExchange Clams wallet has completed syncing.  Please come fill up the order books.

Does your exchange require 100 confirmations to deposit CLAM? That seems excessive. I'd say 10 or 20 would be plenty.

CLAMzzz added !!  Cool  weeeee ===>

https://freiexchange.com/market/CLAM/BTC

Is it a real exchange? I don't think I've ever seen such an empty orderbook before. There's only 1 real order, it is offering CLAMs at below market price, and nobody's matching it. Very strange.

I think the idea that you open exchange and get rich quick is sort of played out.

People are scared of exchanges for good reason.

I personally haven't tried out this freiexchange... I was just expecting GemBitz to put a huge legit bid on there and let the CLAMS naturally flow over. Go Gembitz!

I like that they offer free trading, but charge for withdraws.  Kind of an interesting business idea!

I'm expecting a min investment of at least $50 million from you Gembitz.  Roll Eyes Kiss

Re: Poloniex CLAM withdraw problems

I'm still waiting on a ticket re failed withdraw which I opened on 26th June.

My ticket was updated yesterday to inform me the withdrawal had completed. It took over 2 weeks to reach the blockchain.

But a subsequent withdraw attempt now has the status "Complete: Error"

Welcome to a day in the life.

"Beygency: @masecase this is correct. others that will be removed are factom, clam and bts"

Appears CLAMS is being removed off Poloniex July 8th.  (not 100% yet)

I think I was wrong about the delisting... I believe I heard half of this conversation:

"Additionally, it seems Poloniex will effectively remove four margin trading markets. That includes CLAM, but also BitShares, Factom, and Maidsafe." https://themerkle.com/clam-market-crash-costs-poloniexs-bitcoin-lenders-16-202-of-their-balance/

Maybe that is what is happening on July 8th... *facepalm* sorry about that.

Does this mean there won't be a way for people to short CLAM?

Maybe Poloniex isn't going to delist us... I figured they were going to announce it last week.

I think they only need to give us 7 days... so if they delist us on the 8th... they could announce on Monday (tomorrow).

What we need to do with Poloniex, is identify if their slow dep/withdrawals are from some technical issue in the Clams wallet.  Perhaps there is a problem when the wallet has many thousands of accounts, or fractional amounts.  If we can identify what problem they are having, if any, developers can fix it in the software.   Or if they are operator errors, let's give them workarounds, best practice instructions to coalesce their wallets, optimize the efficiency.  Is there an FAQ, tech support document somewhere?

I imagine Just-Dice, FreeBitcoins, various gaming sites, have wallets on a scale approaching Poloniex.  And you guys might well be way ahead of them technically and operationally, and can reach out to help.  They just need your support, and should be considered ally of the community, not adversary.  I think Poloniex have done all cryptocoin investors a great service in early identifying Clams as a strong offering in the cryptocoin market, and long-term supporting it.

Clams is an excellent coin -- technically, features, fair distribution and grassroots community -- and all you hard-working devs, site operators and miners have well-placed dedication.  I hope we should see continued organic growth, and it's easily worth the recent price highs, and beyond.

We have tried for over 6 months to help Poloniex for free.

Dooglus and Xploited have given them the "fix" or what they thought was the fix.  Poloniex people are either too lazy and/or too stupid to implement the stuff.

Really, I've never seen anything so disgusting as the employee that Poloniex sent... I thought he had an ugly attitude and accomplished absolutely fucking nothing.

I truly think it is best for CLAM to get away from Poloniex and for us to start blazing our own trail.

This is the attitude that resulted in 1,800 BTC lost that they gave to their customers rather than owning themself and countless customers being restricted from accessing their money.  It's disgusting & frustrating.

No surprises there, I guess.

I'm still waiting on a ticket re failed withdraw which I opened on 26th June.

Question. How are customers going to withdraw their coins before delisting when withdraw doesn't freaking work?

I got a withdraw this morning... weird you didn't get it too.

That's a great question... I would normally trade there till the last day, but I'm scared to death they fuck my withdraw up and say "sorry it's past the date".

According to their TOS (https://support.poloniex.circle.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025770812-Poloniex-Delisting-Policy) we will get at least 7 days notice before the market closes and then 30 days to withdraw.  I'm going to allow myself plenty of time...
