Sorry but its not in all cases.
lol, name one case. What are they going to do differently when people contact them? You make no sense. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) If coin was forked (and it was many times) - coins in pools database and in wallet will not match because mined blocks not exists in main chain. It mean you can have, for example, 100 000 for payout in database and 1000 in your wallet balance (mined before fork happened). how can they resolve this Find the block where the fork occurred and delete data after that.

so...When are you guys gonna get sick of being burnt on these flavour of the month coins?
my 1st burn im not butt hurt but taking notes How can you possibly be burned by this when PoS is just underway? It's gone up over 100% in hours. The Dev has come out publically. There is a huge community surrounding this coin on IRC. I just know 25000 that i mined were in pos unconfirmed i reinstall my wallet and boom gone. I supported this coin from the launch my 1st 100,000 block i found i dont know what else to do. Its cool i guess learning lesson of some sort i guess. try doing 'checkwallet' then 'repairwallet' in console

This may be the most underwhelming launch ever.
Stealth launch, or AKA: How to mine a crapload of your own coin before anyone else gets a chance.
From the website: Please use the wallet and setgenerate true! Are you fucking kidding? You want people to cpu mine from the wallet so you can GPU mine? You have to DIG to find the mining instructions and even then they are vague as hell (FYI they are on the "news" page for some retarded reason).
Dev, you obviously have no idea what the fuck you are doing. Maybe you should have teamed up with someone that knows a little bit more than JACK SHIT about starting a business or project.
As a final note: 5 minute blocks! whoopdee friggin doo. Why would anyone want to use a coin that slow for financial transactions?
+1 he doesnt even care enough to write a proper ann thread and you see his fucking responses to questions so vague he doesn't give a shit other than to mine a shit tonne of his own coins. Maybe the dude just sucks at marketing. The coin/exchange seem pretty innovative. If he sucks at marketing then what do you think 90% of creating and maintaining a coin is? It's marketing I have seen plenty of innovations die because of poor marketing and no adoption of the technology. Why would anyone trust someone who doesn't even know the basic fundamentals of how to communicate with his users? You really think if a problem arises this guy won't just walk? He doesn't even spend time answering simple questions In most cases, marketing is the majorityof what a coin is composed of. However, this coin clearly has a lot of programming work put into it, as evidenced here: https://github.com/coinsy Maybe the community can step in and handle some of more social stuff. This time/effort investment is the same reason why I'm betting he wouldn't walk at the first sign of trouble.

then it's dead, move on
bullshit... [/quote] Yeah, if it's a new algorithm, it doesn't really matter if it's a "ninja" launch.

Now this coin is overvalued at current difficulties with 1MH / s = 21 000 / d = 21000 x 0.00000093= 0.01953000 BTC
Yeah, but it's broken atm.

uh oh. There might be a fork in the block chain. 0feepool and poolsofhonor are showing different block heights.

Variable POS... nice next step.

X11 algo would mean no major multipools, maybe you should reconsider it.
+1 what about making a vote for the algo and total supply. saw other coins did that and it seems work out well. +1 Vote for X11 algo! X11 for first round, Scrypt for the 2nd

Hmmm maybe the best thing to do about the launch is a SEMI-ninja launch ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . You announce the coin for the 9 and you launch the 8 haha! Something tells me that's a really bad idea. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Great coin! It would be a good idea to try to get it into Poloniex ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Bittrex is stepping up to become a solid player. May want to look into them too.
