1881  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese Government Plans Bitcoin Cap on: November 07, 2016, 04:03:37 PM
They will fall time after time. Everytime they have tried to stop bitcoin we have seen the results: the local markets have gone up in volume, look at the Russian rubble trading volumes all over the localbitcoin Russian section. Government doesn't understand bitcoin already won and they need to get with the program.
1882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 205: Alvarez vs McGregor Prediction and Info Thread on: November 06, 2016, 08:00:49 PM
I find it surprising that Mcgregor has a long term relationship with the same girl now that he is rich and famous and can get any model he wants. Im used to seeing all those rich fights with a lot of girls so I expected him to act like Mayweather (he is always hanging out with tons of different girls)
Anyway let's hope he is back into the game soon. Some people get rusty after long breaks and never reach their 100% again.
His girlfriend was with him when he was a nobody and its not that surprising that he is sticking into this relationship because when you are rich you will get many girls but the ones who are with you when you are nothing ,those girls are pretty rare to come by

Indeed, it's good to be with a girl that was with you since you where a no one, the question tho still remains: Would she still be with you for this long if your MMA career turned out a failure and you ended up working in McDonalds instead? You never know, that is why I can't have long term relationships, im paranoid that the girl would leave you if you aren't successful. Connor was probably making constant progress since years ago and she knew she would end up fighting against the best... anyway I wish him best of luck and hope we can see the Diaz trilogy complete.
You can never live a life like that buddy,it is hard to get a good girl now a days ,if a girl sticks on with you during your troubled days ,never let her go,it is good to be commited if you are prepared for it.I want him to face Aldo once again because i lost a fortune in that match Smiley

Yes it also shows that Conor is a deep person who is not influenced by the corrupting nature of money and wealth. He might be showing the world that all he wants is to make money and be a success but what he really wants is to make history and to leave a legacy in the world of MMA.
He has already marked his legacy in the sport ,he is one of the most successful fighter in the history of MMA in terms of tickets sold and the most paid as well, there were many great fighters but Mcgregor took it to the next level in terms of fight promotion and confidence inside the ring

I think he still has to win a couple more fights to become a legend. Right now he is one of the best, but legend status is reserved to better records. He needs to get more wins and prove that he can still fight throught his at least early 30s then retire, and he can't lose again ever, if he takes another loss his cache will lower a lot.

1883  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hillary vs Trump betting: what are the best sites? on: November 06, 2016, 07:44:43 PM
Man I was watching his speech earlier and pretty freaky what was going on. At first I assumed he was shot! The last few hours of this will be crazy volatile in the odds and polls.

Yeah so much can happen in the following hours, it's going to be insane. I still don't know if it was a false alarm or there was actually a nutbjob there with a gun ready to shoot. In any case, Donald Trump had balls to show up again. Hillary would have totally left the building.
1884  Economy / Economics / Re: Count down to the U.S. election; A.K.A: S&P 500 armageddon on: November 06, 2016, 07:26:10 PM
I mean look at what Julian Assagne is saying:

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-11-04/julian-assange-says-trump-wont-be-allowed-win-clinton-and-isis-are-funded-same-money

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9xbokQO4M0

So apparently there are 0 chances of Trump winning, that's why I was considering a big bet for a Hillary win.. at least we make money.
1885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future on: November 06, 2016, 07:19:07 PM
It's clear that the future of bitcoin is to become the alternative for the closed source government money, we will have the best possible way to circumvent their control and be free thanks to the btc network.
1886  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: November 06, 2016, 04:11:45 PM
The best way is to keep making bitcoins by buying them monthly ,you can't risk losing your stack in a bad investment. In 10 years people holding 20 BTC will be rich as fuck so until you reach something like 20 to hold for 10 or 20 years, dont risk too much.
1887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: November 06, 2016, 03:47:06 PM
Im looking forward dropping some bitcoins on the ICO for the Golem project, it's an ethereum token and it looks like a  great idea, I always need more processing power for 3d applications and this would be great.
1888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: November 06, 2016, 03:40:08 PM
I have heard stories of people lossing millions of dollars by keeping their coins in exchanges. There was this guy that lost like 300 BTC in MtGox when they where 1000 dollars per coin, and it keeps happening in cryptsy, mintpal etc.
1889  Economy / Gambling / Re: Boiled Brains - new game on: November 05, 2016, 02:09:50 PM
I am not able to find any players, and there's no info about what the game is about on the site, therefore I don't know if I like it or not.

Here's some advice: Record actual gameplay of how the game works and upload it to youtube, then attach it to the OP of this thread and on the website so people can know what this is about.
1890  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hillary vs Trump betting: what are the best sites? on: November 05, 2016, 01:48:45 PM
Wikileaks is releasing a new round of those weird ass Podesta emails... I think Hillary is taking a great deal of damage with all those leaks, I think they are going to keep happening until election day. I wonder of wikileaks has a massive bomb for the 7th.
1891  Economy / Economics / Re: Count down to the U.S. election; A.K.A: S&P 500 armageddon on: November 05, 2016, 01:30:48 PM
Anyone here is going to bet on a hillary win gamble? im considering dropping some bitcoins here.. I think its obvious hillary will win, the powers that be will not let her win, so its clear to me, even julian assagne said the election is rigged... isnt this basically free money??
1892  Economy / Economics / Re: Count down to the U.S. election; A.K.A: S&P 500 armageddon on: November 05, 2016, 01:22:55 PM
There are some big hands obviously interested in loading up hard on bitcoin. They crashed the price on purpose recently to buy back in cheaper. They dont want the price to soar just yet, they are waiting for post election day. I think we will see a massive rally during 8th or after 8th, and until that happens 700 is a new stable price.
1893  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: November 05, 2016, 01:20:25 PM
One of the few actual passive income methods I have seen is ranked blogs. Some people has had blogs and barely updated them for years, but it ranked so good for some reason, that every month they get adsense ad revenue thanks to people visiting it and clicking on ads.

Same goes for the youtube videos, some videos seem to always keep getting views for life. I would say that is real passive income, since it takes 0 maintenance.
1894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Italy’s Largest Taxi Fleet Accepts Bitcoin on: November 05, 2016, 01:02:31 PM
That is fantastic because I usually have a couple dollars in bitcoin on my smart phone which could be very useful to pick a taxi, i hate when I go looking for physical coins and the coins fall inside the car and I have to look for them.. physical cash is so annoying.
1895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if...Satoshi Nakamoto suddenly burns 1 million bitcoins? on: November 05, 2016, 01:00:28 PM
Price would first crash due the shock factor, and then it's going to go to 10.000 dollars, since it's 000.000 zeroes in a million, i would say it can go x 1.000 higher, so if any case that happens, it would be good news for us holders.
1896  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hillary vs Trump betting: what are the best sites? on: November 04, 2016, 06:58:11 PM
One book with odds up that isn't mentioned in this thread is Betcoin.ag.

Yeah, I didn't notice and I promote the site myself. I think im going to use that one if I bet but we will see, im still going to wait more, the press is going insane and the info war is going to continue until the last very second. Both parties are going to try to ruin each other's reputation, anything can happen that would change the odds... I will wait as much as possible to make a bet.
1897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in on a Hillary win bet on: November 04, 2016, 06:50:26 PM
Anyone else has the courage to go all in on Hillary? By all in I mean betting ALL of your bitcoins for a win.

There's some people that's doing this. They are literally going bet all of their bitcoins because they are convinced the election is rigged and Trump cannot win, why not go all in then? Maybe this is a rare opportunity to make a lot of money. Im thinking about it but I don't think I have the balls.

so are you going to invest all of your coins in this election if so you might burn all your coins after all its your choice ,since i do not like politics i am not commenting,i don't like Trump nor Hillary and i do think they are not worthy enough candidates to become the president of America

No, Im not going to go all in... I already said I don't have the balls, but I have seen several people claiming that they are 100% convinced Hillary will win because the US election is rigged. Okay, if you say so, then why aren't you going 100% with all of your life savings + big loans and going all in to make millions of dollars in profit? cmon. Im just saying people should put their money where their mouth is.
1898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing strategy: "The Best Shitcoin Admits It's a Shitcoin" on: November 04, 2016, 06:31:37 PM
That is a good strategy but only valid for short lived pump and dumps. It's an all or nothing gamble... if you miss the pump to dump, then it's over, shitcoins never recover again.

Now, altcoins with a legit technology and development behind, can always eventually get additional pumps.
1899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Zcash? on: November 04, 2016, 05:46:28 PM
If you go to poloniex right now and look at the all time graph, you'll see that the price is staying rather flat, but that's due the massive spike.. that spike is going to make the all time graph look ugly forever unless it can reach 3000 BTC again which is not going to happen lol

We will see if it keeps going into stagnation or a new pump happens.
1900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2016, 05:36:08 PM
I thought this fad was over,no longer seeing kids lurking around my fence like perverts. I think it was the most walking one of my neighbors ever has done in his life. Think we are better tying into virtual reality as a currency of choice rather than wasting time on a product that is here today gone tomorrow.
There are to many parties involved that have a history of not wanting to share either,so they would more likely create their own currency to compete or be the one and only.

I don't think the fad is over, people love pokemon, it's just that we are going now into winter so it's not as cool to go out in the sun. Once the good weather comes back, we will see people again with their phones trying to catch pokemon. Nintendo will try to keep it alive for a long time by adding new pokemons and so on, I think they can still keep doing it.
