901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Setp by Step for How to Claim Bitcoin Cash Balance and Exchange into Bitcoins on: August 10, 2017, 03:02:53 PM
Thanks for the tutorial. My question is: Does Bittrex generate a new deposit address once you send the coins? Because I want to keep my privacy by sending BTC separately in different batches, and for that I need the exchange to generate new receiving addresses each time.

This is I haven't done this yet, it will take a lot of time for me to send all the coins separately, and I haven't even found an exchange that doesn't keep giving me the same deposit address each time yet.

No way im sending all of my bitcoin in a single address.
902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: @RogerVer lets make a deal. At least 60k, my BTU for your BTC. on: August 10, 2017, 02:03:23 PM
fookball, man up, put your money where your mouth is, lets trade your Bitcoin (if you have some) for my bcash 1:1 fair deal
Why would he do that? He can buy BCH on exchanges for ~0.092 BTC. It would make zero sense to trade 1:1

What they meant is 1:1 in terms of BTC, like if you had 100 BTC, you would share them for 100 BTE, but that was before any trading happened I think.

Anyway who cares, the point is, BCC is the same, and Roger Ver is too scared to sell his BTC for BCC, because deep down he doesn't believe he is right. If he knew he was right for a fact, he would dump his BTC for BCC and become richer.
903  Economy / Speculation / Re: $25,000 to $50,000 prediciton in CNBC on: August 10, 2017, 12:11:42 PM
Bitcoin price rises->everyone talks about the problems of BTC and the risks and how criminals use Bitcoin etc...
Bitcoin on the rise-> bullish previsions of Bitcoin going to 10k/50k/1M etc.

Bitcoin is being manipulated by the news as the other markets. Bullish?

That is no manipulation at all. Everyone is free to make their own predictions. If they give you the opportunity to go on live television and they ask you for an honest prediction for the next years, you can say whatever price you want, that's not manipulation, it's just an estimate, and I think it's pretty good. $50,000 to $100,000 is what my calculations tell me the price of BTC will be in around 2030 when the coins that get into the system are really low, and sidechains and lightning network payment will be at full steam by then allowing for everyone on the planet to transact in BTC.
904  Other / Archival / Re: Have you ever won a Jackpot? on: August 10, 2017, 12:09:50 AM
The only jackpot i have won is the prime dice 77.77 one. I have won them three times, but unfortunately the wins weren't that big, The biggest i won from the jackpot was 0.007 BTC. Have you ever won a jackpot in your life? If so how big was it?
I have never bought the jackpot. I did some great gains in bitcoinvideocasino my favorite slot machine for bitcoin betting, but i was too greedy, i kept rolling, and i lost it all. My initial bet was 0.01, so I went all the way up from 0.01 to 1.3, then back to 0 BTC. These things can happen if you always want more. The higher you get, the more you can multiply it, but you can get in a bad luck streak and lose it all, and that was the case unfortunately.
905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: @RogerVer lets make a deal. At least 60k, my BTU for your BTC. on: August 09, 2017, 10:33:25 PM
when Bitcoin unlimited / Emergent consensus was set to activate, it was under the assumption that it would be at least 60-70% hashpower.  obviously the situation is very different currently as of 8/6/2017 with Bitcoin Cash.  You can't expect Roger to make a 1:1 trade now.  if you do, you're an idiot.

This is how an excuse looks like. If you think your product is awesome and the price and hashrate will follow because your idea is so superior, you instantly dump your coins for what you think is the real bitcoin and enjoy you rise, but you are clearly doubting that your project is the winning one.

Sorry to tell you but no hardfork of Bitcoin made by corporations and the usual big blockers will get anywhere, it will remain another fake Bitcoin.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 500,000$ to invest on: August 09, 2017, 06:14:55 PM
where should i invest and why ?
You could pick 100,000's of MAID up for cents.

No way. MAID is extremely risky. They had years, and years to prove their project was viable. They never got to the point where you could say "okay, these guys are making something solid that will end up in a real product". A lot of investors losing patience with their delays.

If I was to spend that kind of money in crypto, I don't see any other option but Bitcoin, everything else is too much risk for that big amount.

It's pretty safe to say BTC will be worth $10,000 during the next decade, those are massive gains if you hold $500,000 worth now.
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: SegWit Lock-in Today 8th August 19:50 UCT on: August 09, 2017, 02:47:10 PM
It has been locked in already. The Coin Dance website says that BIP 141 has locked in with 100% support today. And it further claims that the activation is scheduled to take place in another 2,055 Blocks.

Now we have to wait 2 additional weeks for the grace period in order to get segwit working into the system. It's going to be great to finally see segwit working, and all the haters will have to stay quiet because it's going to go smooth, the price will be good, and the system will work.

What will be interesting to see, is how Bitcoin Cash react. It's possible that they pump it too, and try to dump Bitcoin for a while, but that will not last.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: SegWit Lock-in Today 8th August 19:50 UCT on: August 08, 2017, 11:53:48 PM
Segwit is the final nail in the coffin of BSCore/Segwit Coin hostile takeover attempt and subversion of Bitcoin to continue our slave society. RIP.

Long live Bitcoin Cash, the REAL Bitcoin envisioned by genius Satoshi Nakamoto designed to provide us with financial sovereignty.

Big blockers still derping hard by selling their fork as the sovereign Bitcoin while not explainng how their shitcoin centralizes the nodes into the hands of a few corporations.

They also aren't explaining the 100% centralized hashrate:

Looks like they only bring hashrate if it supports their agenda.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 215: Johnson vs Borg Info and Prediction Thread on: August 08, 2017, 06:59:52 PM
Im looking forward to see the Amanda Nunes vs Valentina Shevchenko    fight. The last time, Amanda Nunes said that she was sick. Dana White didn't believe it, and he said she will not fight as main card or something like that. We will see what happens.

Also good to see Junior Dos Santos fight again, but The Predator is a very dangerous guy, he will go for the KO for sure.

Would like to see the winner of Johnson vs Borg in a big fight like vs Cody Garbrandt.
910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: SegWit Activation Tomorrow 8th August 19:50 UCT on: August 08, 2017, 03:37:59 PM
Are you excited?
The price says it all, people are excited as can be seen from the current prices which have pushed its value to an all time high in the same time frame as SegWit Activation, seems segwit isn't freaking people out as the chain split did because segwit is something that has been tested on a different crypto (litecoin) and works fine with no problems. Looks like we ready to go to the moon 🚀.

Segwit will make the price go to $4000 when it activates. There may be a fake dump to trigger idiots into panic selling before the big pump, but the price will continue into a serious uptrend for the rest of the month and into September.

Then, mid September to mid October Jeff Garzik, Evorhees and the rest of fiat corporate usual suspects thinking they know what's the best for Bitcoin, will FUD with segwit2x and crash the price.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How high will BTC go before big blockers crash the price again with the 2x crap? on: August 08, 2017, 01:52:55 PM
If Bitcoin Cash does not crash on day 1 I see no reason to follow through with the 2 MB fork for Bitcoin. Big blockers will have their coin, why should the other 85% of the Bitcoin community be forced to accept the latency deterioration and centralization of larger blocks?

Big blockers will always find an excuse to cause havoc in the bitcoin community and ruining in the price in the progress. All they want is power. They hate that Core the best developers, so they want to fire them up trying to buy people supporting them by promising cheaper fees.

Now that the market dumped Bitcoin Cash and supported real Bitcoin with segwit, it should be enough, but make no mistake, they will be back with the spam attacks to try to fool people into supporting 2x.
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: SegWit Activation Tomorrow 8th August 19:50 UCT on: August 07, 2017, 05:28:45 PM
Are you excited?

Not really. Everyone that had a clue about Bitcoin knew Segwit was going in sooner or later. It's the most tested code ever, it's perfectly fine. Im tired of conspiracy theorists and their bullshit. I wonder where they will go once we get Segwit enabled and nothing wrong happens. They will stick around for a while waiting for a doomsday scenario that will never come, that will be fun to see. They will become like Alex Jones of cryptocurrency waiting for collapse.

The price may drop for all I know. People like to sell the news. Just buy the dip, we are going $5000 this year (if NYC agreement clowns don't ruin the price, and hardforkers are always ready to ruin the price with their idiocy)
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 114: Pettis vs Moreno Info and Prediction Thread on: August 07, 2017, 02:37:03 PM
It must be frustrating for fighters to be in the UFC but get such small payments compared to the main card.

Some MMA fighters on invicta and bellator cards are paid $2,500 per fight. In other organizations the pay for 1 fight could go as low as $100-$500. There's a famous claim made by Chael Sonnen where he says the UFC paid him $100 for one of his early fights.

Payscaling seems like a sensitive issue & topics like taxes, inflation and elevated cost of living expenses never seem to factor into the conversation which is a shame.

For contrast, Donald Trump proposes reducing income taxes for the lowest bracket from 30%-40% down to 6%-10%. I think that would help MMA fighters a lot. Losing half pay to taxes is a big part of what devastates them.

Looks like Dana White only pays the top competitors, the rest you need a 9-5 job or else you are not going to be able to support yourself from fighting.

And even the top fighters don't makes that much compared to the pro-boxers. This is why Conor wanted the Mayweather fight so much, and this is why Jon Jones want to make a lot of buzz fighting Brock Lesnar.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCC/BCH went missing on: August 06, 2017, 05:19:22 PM
I had four wallets and did the standard Electron procedure after moving my BTC to fresh electrum wallets.

Two wallets came up with accurate BCC balance. The other two - which were both over 1 year old, with longer transaction histories, came up with way less BCC than should be there. Many tx's missing - both red and black.

I have switched between ABC servers manually, but nothing helps.

Anyone had this happen?

The two "new" BTC versions of these wallets do  not have the tx history. Can I just create "version 3" of these wallets, and then import seeds from current version into Electron? Or should I move the BTC back into the original wallet and try again?

You can use this very handy website:

https://blockchair.com/

Are the missing tx's on both blockchains?

If you were controlling the private keys during the split, you should be able to access them on the BCash chain.

I can't help you specifically with Electrum because I only use full nodes, but at least with full nodes, the idea is to send the coins to another address, then import this empty wallet into the BCash client, then you should see the entire transaction history and the same amount of BTC you had but in BCH. It should be the same procedure with Electrum (I think, im not sure)

You should ask here for further help:

915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 114: Pettis vs Moreno Info and Prediction Thread on: August 06, 2017, 03:58:56 PM
Pettis is a good fighter, if he keeps on racking good wins they should give him a shot in a main card. I don't think Fight Night cards pay enough for one to risk getting your face broken. It must be frustrating for fighters to be in the UFC but get such small payments compared to the main card. There is a lot of overhyped people that got into the main cards. I think he got a bad luck streak with 3 loses but he will be back.

Rashad Evans is almost 40, surprised to see he still fights. His last win was in 2013... he was a decent fighter with some big names beaten under his belt.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCC/BCH went missing on: August 06, 2017, 02:42:44 PM
Use 2 full nodes. 1 Bitcoin Core full node for your BTC, then 1 Bitcoin Cash full node (or BitcoinABC, whatever they are calling it) and then import your wallet. dat into the BitcoinABC folder. BitcoinABC has replay protection so you SHOULD be safe. Im too scared to lose my real BTC trying to get free money so I haven't done anything yet, but I plan in dumping all of it as soon as I learn for a fact how to do it the right safe way.
Maybe you could first transfer your bitcoin into another wallet. And then export the key. Why? Had an issue at my wallet. Gained BCH, then sent an amount of BTC to a service and made a backup of my wallet. Restored and had no BCH in my wallet. So I had to follow the step once more and full BCH appeared although I had less bitcoin in my wallet. But bitcoin history was mirrored by BCH and I got the amount that I had before fork.

Yes, this makes perfect sense. You don't want to have the same public keys on both chains, so first of all, you should move your BTC coins that you want to keep in the BTC chain, into another address, then what you export is the empty wallet of the BTC chain, in the BCC chain, and when you do, it will not be empty in the BCC chain, you will still have the BCC there, but they will not be attached to the same public keys as in the BTC chain anymore because you moved them first. This is definitely worth it to be safer.

But the problem is that you will spend a lot of time in transacting and in fees.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Possible crash until the end of 2017 on: August 06, 2017, 01:01:11 PM
before november will be a crash for sure, another fork will happen and drama will raise
Yes. The 2MB hardfork will have much more support and potentially higher than Bitcoin core which means a dip at best. This can be seen from the mining signal percentages of Segwit2x (intention). Still a lot of mining pools signaled BIP 91 just to get Segwit and have no intention of supporting the hard fork, so it will be interesting to see how things unfold in November.
Literally nothing happened to the price from the BCH fork though.

If the idiots on NYC agreement have learned anything, they will already know that the 2MB hardfork rushed in 3 months idea is stupid and will crash the price. Then they will need to explain the community why they crashed the price in the middle of an all time high.

By the way, people that signed the agreement are already backing off, like Bitfury's George, check his twitter.

919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Loge Foot - Is Neymar at Paris a good thing ? on: August 05, 2017, 05:44:32 PM
In my opinion Neymar was a disappointment. I remember back in the day he was being sold as the next Ronaldo (the original Brazil one, not Cristiano), or the next Ronaldinho... a Brazilian genius.

I mean dont get me wrong the kid is really good but he didn't deliver what I was expecting. He parties too much, he is too emotional, he fakes too many faults. Sometimes the most ridiculous fakes I've ever seen.

I think Barca can improve his team if he gets a good replacement for that spot.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So has Roger Ver dumped his BTC for BCC yet? on: August 05, 2017, 04:51:21 PM
that thing between these two was more of a joke not a real thing. and i am sure nobody would dump bitcoin for BCC even Roger Ver himself. bitcoin is way too valuable, established and rising to give up. it is not a random pumped altcoin that you know is going to fall at some point. it is a solid rise which will only continue up in long term.
with BCC, it doesn't matter how good he thinks it is, the future of it is shaky at best.

Well if he didn't, then what the fuck is this?
https://blockchain.info/tx/2248452e2122ff2d446565462cac276bbc8420c5874695a9b5c8e3bca8afa2b2
Are these coins moved to Ver's own wallet itself or they sold them for BCC?
We should ask that whether they dumped their "BCC" for BTC at exchanges yet?

What are those?

According to this:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/60ozkh/rogerver_lets_make_a_deal_1_for_1_trade_at_least/

Looks like this links back to the Loaded-Ver thread and these are Loaded's coins, not Ver's.

So looks like Loaded moved all these coins into another address and no additional information on this move is to be found as far as I can tell.
