I can also agree on the fact that Napoli had a much bigger potential than this for this season. They fought for the championship for a long time too but they were left behind by Milan and Inter earlier than I expected. It would have been really nice if we'd seen a championship rivalry among three teams too. Napoli were also a team like Milan which didn't become the Serie A champions for very long years. It is even a bigger streak for Napoli. This was one of their biggest chances but they just struggled a lot about being consistent.
Napoli's biggest problem this season was that towards the end of the season their form dropped so that they were trailing the other two teams that were fighting for the trophy until their final weekend in Serie A. This was a disappointment that they should have anticipated from the start, because they have struggled and are approaching the end of the season their struggle seemed in vain. I was very contented with the title race this season. It lasted until the final week of the season and the last matches were really great too. Liverpool and Manchester City both were behind first but they managed to make comebacks and won. Especially Manchester City's comeback is going to be really unforgettable for me. And one of the most disappointing teams of the season were obviously Manchester United. They had a worse season than the previous one and hopefully they can get better next time.
Honestly, I'm speechless when it comes to Manchester United. About their messy game, their players often make mistakes that don't need to be changed, those mistakes happen again and again. They have a pretty luxurious squad, but they can't turn out to be as expected. I can't stop thinking about Manchester United's performance this season.
