1881  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: October 27, 2015, 03:45:04 PM
When BTC started, nobody had any and it was worthless, so it was right to give away thousands of BTC to make it popular. All that has changed. Now that BTC's worth something, now that companies are building on BTC, now that serious business transactions are made with bitcoin, it's about time for faucets to adapt.

BTC is real. It's money, and you've got to work to earn some. I hope all faucets will disappear in 2015. Faucets are hurting bitcoin by making some people believing you can get it while doing nothing sitting in your home. No, BTC isn't like that, and it shouldn't be any easier to get than any fiat currency. Even for small amounts.

Nowadays working in faucets is worthless, you have to spend long periods of your time, and a great effort resolving captchas to make very little earning, so it's not money for free, you make a hard job to earn so little profit
1882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of my life on: October 27, 2015, 03:42:03 PM
I bought once and the price went down too much.
That was my worst 'mistake' i would say.
But in your case i would think that you learned something and we should 'predict' if the price will go up or down.
For now bitcoin is only rising rapidly and it is going to reach soon $300.

Yes i think the price will continue increasing till the next halving coming on the summer. So i think holding Bitcoins nowadays is profitable idea. However we have to take care always and try to predict if the price will go up or down before buying bitcoin

Now buying BTC is a safe bet IMO. The price is rising and rising, and even if it goes a bit down it will inevitably rise to $500 in several months. But I wouldn't recommend anybody to invest all the money he has in anything even if it looks like a very wise dicision. The life  is unpredictable you know. )

I think so too, i don't recommend to invest all our money to buy bitcoins even we are pretty sure that the prices will increase for sure soon. Always taking care worth and we can't exactly predict the future
1883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a payment option, especially for the adult and entertainment industry on: October 27, 2015, 03:36:45 PM
honestly, i love when bitcoin being most popular payment option in many porn/adult sites ,but it'll giving bitcoin a negative image,so, better for sex industries to make their own coins like titscoin or sexcoin and then make this popular

Yes i think that creating another coin specialized for the porn/adult sites is better than using Bitcoin on this sites. Of course supporting btc by making it as payment processor is always welcomed, but we have to think also about the reputation of this currency, in the other hand
1884  Other / Off-topic / Re: They are pissed with me on: October 27, 2015, 03:32:41 PM
So today I tried educating some bunch of Ponzi enthusiast who doesn't even have any idea what kind of scheme they are throwing their money on and guess what? They were kind of pissed at me like I did something wrong to them. It's as if they were a bunch of kinds that lost their fairytale hopes. I just stated some facts to them. LOL. Cheesy

I wonder how long will they survive their chosen path in the bitcoin community.  Huh

The addicted persons for investing in ponzi schemes don't accept easily the advices of others , many of them know that this schemes are just scammers and planning to running away with their money, but despite this they continue to invest in their sites
1885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? on: October 27, 2015, 03:28:59 PM
I have so many temptations as my BTC savings grow monthly, but I must resist. I know I would be overpaying a lot whatever I buy with them, so it's better to stay a hodler. I wish I could spend more, but I don't have enough savings to feel comfortable doing so, so I would rather use fiat which is pretty much worthless to me at this point. The dollar has less and less trust yearly.

holding fiat isn't profitable like holding Bitcoins as you noticed, and nowadays the predictions that the bitcoin's price will go up and increase soon, so we can hold it for this near future and using fiat like dollar and so on for the daily trades

I don't see really any benefits by holding fiat,
The price isn't going to jump and you are making money.
Unless you have millions then there should be a little profit, but comparing to bitcoin fiat is more stable.

Yes i mean holding high amounts of fiat of course, and even in this case we can't make good profit as known. However when holding Bitcoin we can in few weeks or months make huge earnings. And i think after the next halving the bitcoin's price will be stable too
1886  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: October 27, 2015, 03:24:21 PM
I wish bitcoin go to $100000 so in that i will be millionaire Grin so will go to on world tour and will buy everything with it. Kiss

I see it's nice dream but far to be real i think. Of course the bitcoin's price is increasing daily and we expect this price will going up more than this avg in the newt weeks and months, but reaching this amount is not realistic in my opinion
1887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: October 27, 2015, 03:21:39 PM
For me yes, it is a real money which you can live from it.
Bitcoin is becoming so much popular and it will 'replace' a bit the fiat money online.
Because the fees are less and easy to send/receive. I have few friends who lives by selling btc.

I can understand from your post that not only Bitcoin is a real money, but also bitcoin become the source making live many people worldwide. And it's normal noticing the increasing of btc's prices last weeks
1888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting a living from Gmabling alone is possible? on: October 27, 2015, 03:16:44 PM
Gambling depends on luck, so it's not that possible you could make a living from gambling, you could lose at any time, furthermore, you could lose all instead of parts.

well i must agree with you, gambling depends on luck ( at least in most of the cases ), but there is some exceptions, just look the spanish family history called "pelayo", there is a film about it, they live pretty well playing gambling Wink

The gambling performance of that family is just an exception. Hundreds of million of people cannot live on gambling alone, apart from casino operator who provide entertainment service.

Gambling as known is a game, i am agree with you on the point that we can't live on gambling alone, there is always a risk to lose everything, so i prefer doing gambling just for fun, if there is then some profit, it will be welcomed
1889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will the world look like in 10 years if Bitcoin succeeds? on: October 27, 2015, 03:14:05 PM
Best scenario?
1. Bitcoin will be commonly used in almost every country
2. Almost all online payment processed with bitcoin
3. Few country only use bitcoin as their national currency
4. Corruption is almost impossible inside company/government which use bitcoin
5. Have 1BTC means you're very rich or just early adopters
6. Most bank will gone
7. Bitcoin nodes on moon & mars Cool

I think the first scenario ( Bitcoin will be commonly used in almost every country) is more realistic nowadays, because as we can notice bitcoin's price is increasing daily and also it's growing and used more and more than the previous months and years
1890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: October 27, 2015, 03:11:22 PM
I started doing faucets also. You will see your patuence just by looking where the reward button is. And if you push the wrong button it will go to another page and you will start again. that is how patient we are doing that just for a little to earn.

Fauceting is worthless, you just waste your time and effort to make very little profit, and i think you noticed it. Doing faucets for fun isn't bad, but considering this as solid source to make profit or for growing up our Bitcoins isn't good idea in my opinion
1891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Describe BITCOIN in ONE word. on: October 27, 2015, 03:07:45 PM
For me i call it virtualmoney but its two words.. but its just my calling for the btc.. or i can also call it virtcoin...Much better!

I don't think it is virtual money, Bitcoin nowadays is used as real money, we can exchange for fiat easily, with good rate, and also we can use Bitcoin to purchase goods and services online just like using other currencies
1892  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: October 27, 2015, 03:03:05 PM
Holding is one of the better ways of investing in Bitcoin as the value grows overtime with relatively low risk.

It's depending on the price's predictions and then there is always a small risk to lose. But i think nowadays holding Bitcoins is good and profitable idea, because the price is increasing and we expect it's going up after the next halving
1893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about the negative reputation of the bitcoin currency? on: October 27, 2015, 03:00:07 PM
The negative reputation of bitcoin is tight to mt.gox and silk road. People  think that bitcoin is mostly used to buy drugs and weapons. But in reality bitcoin is more than a financial tool to obtain drugs.

This remembers me when and other cryptocurrencies like perfectmoney webmoney,
Which are/were used for the same things like you mentioned.
These are money so everything you can do with cash you can do with cryptocurrencies so it isn't needed to accuse bitcoin for illegal activities.

I am agree with you , man. Many other ewallets was used to make illegal transactions , like perfect money in the past, for example. And the money can be used in the leagal or illegal cases as known, so i don't think that's exceptional or giving bad reputation for btc exceptionally
1894  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: October 27, 2015, 02:54:55 PM
until now, some of us can't really choose, we are forced to keep the bank, and try to use bitcoin as much as possible, and it's what i'm doing

when greater adoption will kick-in i'll begin to avoid bank slowly, until i can use 100% bitcoin, it's a slow tedious transaction...

Yes i think everyone from the bitcoin's supporters still using banks and fiat till now, and good part of them are just "forced" making this, like you. It's normal because till now we can only use bitcoin online and even not everywhere, but i think in the near future we will be able to use bitcoin offline too easily
1895  Economy / Services / Re: I will advertise your link on my Facebook account with 2166 friends on: October 27, 2015, 02:50:15 PM
How many percent of your friends use bitcoins?

Watoshi, what about paying the loan you defaulted on here ? * https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=994093.msg10916180#msg10916180 *
Well I guess OP is doing this to gather funds to repay.  Undecided

I have almost 4814 friends and I can advertise any link too, so if anyone is interested he can contact me ASAP Its up to you how much you are willing to pay.

Don't hijack others thread bro. Make your own thread for the service that you are offering. That's not cool.  Tongue

I am just avoiding new threads to make forum look good. Afterall buyer will have a choice.

There isn't problem if you make your own thread with your detailed offer. Hijacking topics of other members isn't cool and may even give you negative feedbacks from some members .

1899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any female BitcoinTalker around you? on: October 27, 2015, 02:25:10 PM
There are not even any male bitcoin users around me.

Bitcoin till now is "online" currency, we can't use it offline easily. So it's normal to don't find many people around us using or talking about bitcoin offline. However in the internet worlds we can easily find many people interested and talking about this currency
1900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: October 27, 2015, 02:20:42 PM
Yes it is, if you can buy goods and services with bitcoin. Cannot be a real money if it is worthless and no real value.

Yes that is true. Bitcoin is a real money but one can't buy all items and in all places because as of now bitcoin is limited to internet users so only one can buy items or services through online. Normal stores may not accept your bitcoins so even though it is a real money but currently only limited to buy only certain things online.

I think that in the near future we will be able to buy and sell goods and services offline for bitcoins worldwide. Just we have to be patients , and to continue our support and advertising bitcoins , and using it as much as we can
