1881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: January 15, 2020, 02:42:46 AM
This is the same with "gambling must only be for fun and never for serious matters". Must agree.

People should really treat gambling that way.

I mean gambling is not something that people should be serious unless you have the ability or skill to be a professional. It doesn't mean that you can win games by yourself, which means that you can also be a professional.
1882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's in the game, after all? on: January 12, 2020, 12:08:32 PM
To be honest I don't know.

My parents raised me and always warned me about gambling since my surroundings are related to gambling. When I started to get matured, I grew fond of watching these lucky videos and end up watching a professional poker player named Nicky Numbers talking about luck and skill. After that, I end up watching lucky replays of players and want to try that myself. I did lose in gambling to be honest, I am not addicted, deep inside of me, I want to win and also, I want to feel the same feeling those players did when they win. Now, I dropped that and just wasting my time getting satoshis on faucets and use different kinds of strategies.
1883  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless Economy: Is Society ready for transformation? on: January 12, 2020, 11:45:53 AM
This is hard especially for those country that don't have enough knowledge about technology especially in mobile phone use. I think there's many need to be done to be cashless world like all people have own smart phones,  personal computer and als stable internet.  Many needs to develop and we will having a hard time to make this happen.

It is not the country but its people.

Just imagine if it was implemented that quickly and there are a lot of people who don't even know how to use it will be swindled by a lot of people. With that kind of payment system or monetary system, people who have no knowledge of it will be at loss. Another thing is that people having their own mobile phones, what more of their own PC, will be a problem since not all of the people can afford them.
1884  Economy / Economics / Re: is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments? on: January 12, 2020, 07:25:10 AM
According to conspiracy theory, Is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments to gain financial strength in the modern world?

I don't want to think as conspiracy theorists. If government was the creator of bitcoin, then why would they oppose it decentralization?.
Government would do everything within their power to promote it a acceptance,  without placing sanctions on some activities that concerns crypto.

That is the one really opposing the government's way.

I mean they love controlling almost everything in their country, they don't want anything they can't control that is why they hate Bitcoin amd other cryptocurrencies. If they made Bitcoin, a country should own it and now should develop it to make their country rich. They will not accept other countries owning it or taking advantage of it.
1885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 12, 2020, 05:44:00 AM
Not just trading or doing any kind of work in a haphazard way seems boring but we have to try to keep everything under control. I think it's a big challenge in our work trading our responsibility to tackle trading. Trading for a long time causes a number of humanitarian problems.

I think this depends on that individual.

I mean there are a lot of people who last in their jobs for 40 and 50 years and they never got bored of it. In our country most of the teachers stay at their career for 50 to 60 years, sometimes they kept on teaching. If you have your passion in that career, I guess you can really last and that is the same with trading, though in my case, I don't really like to trade all day, I also want a stable job.
1886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons why traders fail in Forex on: January 12, 2020, 04:45:18 AM
That's the reality, once there are winners or gaining in trading, some were crying because they lose  in trading, which is the sad truth in trading, so if you really don't know what you are doing, other people can manipulate your mind especially those who are whales, they can easily think how you are thinking. Also in crypto, there are just different with what you are trading at but also the concept is same. So, learn, learn, learn everyday to earn later.

About manipulation and whales in forex trading, the whales are not necessarily individuals.
The whale in forex trading are usually the banks that have huge some if money that they can put into trade in a particular direct which can change the dynamics of demand therefore, causing huge movement and either rising or falling price.

Never thought of that.

There are a lot of other people out there trading money and never thought that the banks are the actual whales. In forex trading that would be true but in terms of whales in the market of cryptocurrency, I think that is an individual, right?
1887  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Fall Because of China Or Actually They Dominates Bitcoin Mining on: January 12, 2020, 03:58:42 AM
What do they really want?

They banned and unbanned it, I don't know whether they support or do not want cryptocurrency and Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin cross again the price of $8K, I don't know if this news has anything to do with it but I think it would interest a lot of investor there in China since we all know it holds the most number of miners in the world.
1888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you go to blockchain/crypto events? on: January 12, 2020, 02:47:05 AM
I did see one but at that time I am not really ready to be a part of it.

Outside the venue of that event, I am just waiting for some people to come out since there might be someone that I know who can I go with and talk with about this but unfortunately, there's no one that I knew inside. I think that is ind of my fault of not going inside, I still shy at that time and I kind of regret it since I never had a chance to go after that.
1889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling effect to husband and wife on: January 12, 2020, 02:14:59 AM
I don't know what happen in this scenarios since I don't have any experiences with this.

All I know is that there are a lot of discussions since my friend always told me that. When we will be having a get together, his wife will always tell him to never ever gamble the money he has since they have other expenses to spend that even though he won't. He doesn't gamble that much but if he does, it is really a problem.
1890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: January 10, 2020, 10:10:10 AM
Many gamblers are saying that they are only gambling for stress reliever but the thing is they keep becoming more stress if they lose in the gambling. For those who have a lot of money can say that gambling is for fun and stress reliever because they have a lot of money and they do not care even if they lose big.
Gambling for stress relief? How funny can this get.
Gambling alone can put one into stress. it's not only because of the loss that comes with it as you state but also because of the mental calculations on the right strategies that could result to winning. That alone can stress the brain.
When one play without thinking or calculating the chances, the loss becomes greater. Anyone that want t relieve stress should go watch a show and not gamble.
To be exact, people are in gambling for the reason that they would like to win and have some money. That was crazy actually if we've been addicted to gambling just for stress reliever, having fun or social engagement. What makes us relieve from the stress in gambling, if we are able to hit the jackpot prize.

I think we have our own reasons.

Everyone has different reasons of gambling but we all know that most of the reasons that we will be hearing to them is that they want to earn money. Having fun or not, money is the reason since there are a lot of ways to have fun without risking your money. We have our own views on gambling, we may have our own reasons but usually it is for the money.
1891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: January 10, 2020, 09:18:33 AM
I prefer to use cryptocurrency for betting, my favorite site is sportsbet and I almost always use online sites. especially with guaranteed anonymity if we use cryptocurrency. the obvious reason is that I prefer not to use money from my job and choose to use crypto, the cryptocurrency that I earn where is a small part I use for gambling.

That is true though.

Though I want to use my fiat for gambling, there are a lot of times that online wallets does not want to transact money to some gambling sites. That is the reason I am using cryptocurrencies since I have no choice.
1892  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: January 08, 2020, 02:34:14 AM
I think bitcoin is a value storage tool. I always dream about it when I buy bitcoin. I'm gonna sell at high prices and make more money. But if one day bitcoin becomes very common and replaces a state, then it will be the currency.

But then again, as they talk that at the top of this thread.

The reason why it is pumping in the past is because there are a lot of people using it and now that there are a lot of people holding it, the price is not having an improvement. Yes, there are some increases but unlike in the past, it is so high. Another thing, I am not hoping, at all, that Bitcoin will be replacing fiat currencies. It is not just the government, I think it will be a digital currency of what we are using right now and not Bitcoin.
1893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons for traders to look at! on: January 08, 2020, 01:34:54 AM
You need to try to become a successful business by eliminating negative thoughts and applying reality.

If you didn't know, the reality is full of negativities that will eat you up.

It is not always that negatives come your way, it is a part of your life and it will depend on how you will be controlling that into your advantage. If you want to be a successful businessman or entrepreneur, you need to work hard, and that is not just physical work but mental and emotional too. You also need to be educated so that you know what you are doing and what might happen. A lot of things that will happen will depend on how you would be handling things so you need to decide very carefully.
1894  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: January 05, 2020, 05:31:54 AM
I don't agree to some of your advice or suggestions. Marriage is meant to be a blessing, and this shouldn't make one poor, payment of tax is okay in a decent society to ensure the fund is available to the government because this is their only farm.

This is sarcasm.

These things can add to your expenses and I think without those that might make you rich. I do agree at some point but as a man, that would not work out. I would just work until I can afford to marry someone.
1895  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It’s very easy to trade Bitcoin on: January 05, 2020, 04:01:47 AM
I want to say that trading is easy. in fact for 3 years I did not find out how to avoid large losses.
I did not find the answer because this was a kind of guessing and gambling. so far I have continued to study.

I think what you're saying is the opposite.

Trading is not that easy especially that you are dealing with a risky investment like cryptocurrencies. The fact that you are saying that you can't find out how to avoid large losses says it. If we will be talking about trading, yeah, it is easy to trade Bitcoin since there are a lot of platforms you can use to trade it but in terms of profit, that is not easy.
1896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: January 05, 2020, 01:56:55 AM
first make them interested in a good story first, after that, they will be interested, then you explain everything about bitcoin ..

Why do we need to explain everything about Bitcoin?

That will just bore them. If you really want someone using Bitcoin, give them the advantages of it and what can it give them in time. They don't need information about Bitcoin, what they need to know is how they can use it and what would be the conviniences it can give than the usual they are using.
1897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2020, 01:14:30 AM
Yes I hold and save some Bitcoin.  Not too much indeed, but at least I have a Bitcoin deposit as a lock on my hopes someday.

But you should also be careful.

You don't know when will it happen so better be wary of the changes that is happening. Bitcoin and almost all of other cryptocurrencies tends to change so fast that you might not get a track of it especially in the future, since we don't really know what might happen at that time.
1898  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be main currency during WW III, and back to $20k ? on: January 04, 2020, 11:56:45 AM
Just hope something can be done to avoid this war.

Allegiances are happening and that would might not stop from just 3 countries, that would involve other countries too that is alliance of America. In terms of the price, would tgat really affect the price or just their price? I don't think the price would change as a whole.
1899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: January 04, 2020, 11:30:28 AM
Spending cryptocurrency on gambling is similar to the spending to do with fiat on a grocery store. This makes people prefer bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies for gambling than fiat. Getting used to cryptocurrency on gambling is very simple, because we've got lot and lot of gambling websites specifically functioning with different cryptocurrency acceptance.

That is different from spending fiat on a grocery store.

Just think of it, when you buy something from the grocery, does that fiat value goes down? Becausw that is whats happening on cryptocurrency when you sell them. For now, I'd rather hold my cryptos than gamble them. I will just use my fiats to gamble.
1900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: January 04, 2020, 10:20:20 AM
Personally, I don't have a limit on how much money I win to stop playing gambling. Because what I feel right now when I win a lot later on, I keep playing. Maybe until finally I get tired I will really stop.

Or maybe when you have nothing.

And I think this is normal for a lot of gamblers. To be honest, no matter how big their winnings and losses are, they would continue to gamble no matter what. Some say it is for the entertainment but I know deep inside them it is about the money. I mean who would not say that it is not about the money. Even though I am not addicted to gambling, I would really gambling for money, though that would be really impossible to win in my case.
