In case you haven't noticed yet, in the past some of the test nations listed above have helped the associate nations in a big way. Some of them are doing the same even now. Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands and Denmark used to take part in one of the domestic competitions in England, before it was scrapped. The PNG team regularly tours Australia and CA supports them with coaching and infrastructure development. South Africa has allowed the participation of Namibia, Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria in one of it's domestic competition, and the WICB has done the same for US and Canada. No such help from the Asian nations or New Zealand. They have refused to help the associate nations.
Role of ICC is in front of us for promotion of cricket. Sadly big boards are also not willing to spend few bucks to help associate teams. Zimbabwe and Kenya once permanent member of icc WC are now no where to be seen. If things continue in this manner then very soon cricket will be restricted to few big countries only. I believe that both Zimbabwe and ICC are to be blamed for the downfall in cricket there, because the former tried to mix it with politics, and the latter banning it didn’t really help. Also at this stage I don’t really think ICC is bothered about small teams anymore, because the fans want more actions from the big 3, and as I have said before unless the fans constantly demand action from the smaller teams there’s no way ICC will focus on them. |

I am not much hopeful about Hasnain. In the past I have seen a lot of bowlers undergoing re-hab. Only a very few returned to the international scene after doing so. I really doubt whether we will ever get to see someone like Akhtar or Lee again in international cricket. Nowadays I don't see any bowler even attempting to break the 100 mph barrier. Back then, in addition to Akhtar and Lee, we had at least half a dozen bowlers including Shane Bond and Mfuneko Ngam. The last time someone hit the 160 kmph mark was in 2015, when Mitchell Starc had one of his deliveries clocked at 160.4 km/hr (99.7 mph) against New Zealand.
You are very much right as nobody came back after correcting his action. Bowling action is something gifted by nature and you cant make it yourself using technology. In T20 cricket there is no respect for bowlers, you bowl a good delivery and got six on it and got wicket on poor delivery. Hasnain is just 23 years and lets hope he resumes his cricket with correct action. @Sithara007 you’re correct because he’ll have to drop pace to get his action corrected, but if he can somehow yet manage to get those speedy balls on the stumps then he’ll become a nightmare for the batsman. When it comes to knockout games, i always believe that the word 'favorite' does not exist; it is simply a tool to downgrade or belittle a certain team. Be it Atalanta, Leizpig, Lyon, WestHam, Barcelona or frankfurt; either of them can win the tie if they take their chances and score more than their opponents. Now that away goal rule does not exist, the tie is literally open and does not care if you are favorite or not @ampere while you’re right in a way, but we would yet consider Barcelona, West Ham the favourites to win and I personally like the latter and have high hopes for them. Ohh my Mate Masplanc, Mohammed Salah is the name  But it is not a easy thing to carry the country in he's shoulders. Cristiano Ronaldo did this for Portugal anyways. Africans are not real good good. I think it is very hard to blame Salah, when it comes to national teams; you have to adapt to the quality of players around you and i think Salah did well to that regards. The Egypt national team is quite defensive and rely on counter attacks (Salah plays an attacking setting in Liverpool). Also do not forget Mane has Kouyate, PSG midfield maestro and Koulibaly, proven qualities. And importantly, African football is not for the weak I believe that people had high expectations from Salah considering his top class performances for Liverpool, but when Egypt lost all the blame fell on his shoulders, and I feel that it’s wrong to only blame him for the loss. Furthermore I feel that Senegal will be a tricky opponent to face in the World Cup, and no team should underestimate them because they’re capable of winning matches, and causing upsets during their World Cup journey. |

If South Korea could beat Germany four years ago I think Japan can have a go against Spain or Germany too. Just probably, most football fans are clearly underestimating Japan because obviously we can't compare the level of football in Europe to that of Asia but again football is a team sport and the team that seemingly want it more always come up on top after 90 minutes. I don't think Japan can top that group but I would give them a chance to qualify as runner-up.

I use a different browser if it comes up with that which is not often, sometimes it will be cached wrongly or something that is resolved just altering the settings slightly between browsers though most software is closer then its been in the past, old flash etc.

This Manchester United- Everton match looks like one of those games these guys get their redemption back after dropping several points in several games,and utd pretty much has thrown everything behind the game and they have run out of ideas... even the great Cristiano Ronaldo is very quiet today and I don't think anything will change , I guess United are in the worst of forms than I can imagine...congrats to Everton on beating Utd again  Less than 15 minutes to go. Is now obvious Everton may walk away with the 1 goal score advantage against Manchester United and at the moment Everton is taking the stage control which is all aimed at defending their 1 goal. There may be another possible goal score but how that will come about is left to chance and opportunities presented to both clubs.
I decided to watch this game in the hopes that Manchester United may win against Everton in style, but I’m totally disappointed with the way Manchester United played, and I wonder at this rate will it be Europa football or the Europa Conference League football next season for Manchester United. Really didn't expect Sevilla to win at home in such a dramatic way, they scored two goals at the end of the game and to be honest it looks like Sevilla are still lucky in this moment. I personally didn't watch this broadcast live and don't know what happened, so the extra time given was quite long because the 2 goals scored at the end of the match were in +3 and +9 minutes. I'm curious about what's going on on the pitch, because there's no reason to delay the match for a long time so the longest extra time is at least +5, but it's up to +9.
@hahay it’s just not about luck Sevilla have played very well this season, but in the last few matches they did underperform but now it seems that they’re back with a big win. It turns out that Bayern Munich played 20 seconds with 12 men instead of 11 men. A double substitution made by Bayern Munich, only Coleman remained in the field as the referee resumed play. According to the rules, the team in question has then lost the match 2-0. The substitution had no blood whatsoever, because Bayern won 4-1. We won't know who will be the champion until the last game comes and I think this situation is very good. It's good to see the quality of the Italian League improve. Lastly if Ac Milan drops points and Inter and Napoli end up with the same points then Inter will win based on the GD, hence it’s extremely difficult to say who’ll win the league title.  |
