So close! :v
In the end, I was in the first place Cheesy

This is insane though and gratz on winning $500 for this contest. The only way someone was able to take you down was by hitting exactly 339x lol which kinda seems impossible. Those 2nd and 3rd placed player ended up on #8 and #10 respectively at the end of the contest, must have been sucks for them

Well I know you are well known all over these places on different gambling sites trying to hit and join any running contest but I didnt know that chips.gg is one of your go to places though.

Do you think such high fees is justified ?

He can charge whatever he wants but at this rate, FTX is as good as dead. The only chance for FTX to make it back is to solve all those insolvency issue then relaunch the whole thing with a brand new name. I'd love to see him try though, but I doubt that anyone would be able to solve anything at this point. I cant remember exactly but was there any exchanges that make it back after they were 'hacked / having insolvency' issue? ( both are pretty similar, they have no funds left ) I guess there was none

Of course, if Sadio Mane had been present in today's match, there would have been some consolation in winning this match.

You gotta be kidding me. If Mane was playing then Netherlands would have marked him for the whole 90 minutes. He is the best player from Senegal and there is no reason to left him unmarked. There were tons of chances though but none was converted so the entire Senegal frontline is just bad at this point so I kinda doubt that sane would have made significant differences

Want to know your thoughts? If the recession is coming, can crypto save us from that?

One of the main effect of recession is that interest rate would be lower so that means thee is a good chances that some cash will flow into crypto but we are talking about global recession so thats the whole world economic in decline and anything could have happened including crypto market crash as most people could be cashing out their crypto reserve

If you have decent amount of cash then once everything hit the new low then you could start purchasing all those

Of course, there's always that odd manager that selects underdogs for his team, so I won't be shocked if Valnecia was selected and given the captaincy.

Well yeah some people would probably pick Valencia but I doubt that anyone would give him the captain band. How much does Valencia cost though? probably not as high as the other top striker so if any player actually put him on the draft then it would be alongside some other expensive striker like Kane so low chances that Valencia is taking that captain band

I wanted a cheap playing keeper and there isn't any cheaper than Galindes at 4M. Don't know why since Ecuador kept a clean sheet in last 6 games.

Wasnt Pope at 4M as well? Im not sure if it was 4M or 4.5M but he was cheap though
1906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 20, 2022, 11:23:05 AM
The only way Qatar will succeed in the game of Ecuador is with the assistance of the referees. However, they will always have a strong fan base backing them as host.

This is dumb though. Im betting on Qatar tonight aside from all those accusations of the bribe issue, if you actually check the record of Qatar's friendly games for the last 6 months then you would notice that their record is pretty impressive. Most of it are draws but they only lose few games so there is a good chances on either them winning tonight or getting draw against Ecuador

But World Cup odds are still there for me, try to go to this URL to check out all of available markets: https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/soccer/international/fifa-world-cup-2022/world-cup-2022-63762c28e785822c30f78b15

Yeah this is still available and most likely odds will remain the same atleast until all group concluded their 1st game

Anyway, today is the deadline for Sportsbet's Outright offer. Bet minimum of 5 mbtc or equivalent on other currencies for the World Cup winner and get 25usdt free chip for each game that your choosen team won. 5mbtc is around $83 so picking a huge group favourites that will most likely win 3 games means you are getting 90% back through this promotions already. Dont forget to Opt-in through this PAGE before you bet

I also hope that's the case since I remember Polaris made a post about releasing their players recently

I thought this team was good though. Well they didnt make it to TI but atleast they got a solid potential in SEA so probably they will be able to get through the DPC next season after Boom was disbanded.

Speaking of the next DPC though, Roster lock deadline is on 9th December so its probably going to be a while until we get the whole roster for all the teams competing. In case anyone interested on the next DPC and major schedule, check this out
1909  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter Crypto head and staff resigns on: November 19, 2022, 08:04:56 PM
What impact do you think this will have on crypto space in general ? I am sure they must be working on crypto inclusion on the platform in some way and now when they have left the decisions will be delayed in this matter.

Elon Musk was able to get all those nerds working for him and build Tesla as well as SpaceX so its probably going to be less than a week for him to find compatible replacement to run the whole Twitter. Aside from that, we all know how Elon really want to support crypto ( or probably just doge specifically ) so pretty sure that twitter will remains as one of the crypto safe space

There are now reports that Manchester United are prepared to instruct Ronaldo not to return to Carrington after World Cup, this is the plan as things stand. Also the club is confident they have grounds for cancelling Ronaldo’s deal, which has six months left to run, for bringing the club into disrepute. But I think whatever Manchester United decides, is of no consequence to him who has his mind on the World Cup. The moment Ronaldo granted that interview, he already had his mind made up.

The moment he ditched the pre season games was pretty much the moment that he decided that he wont be joining the club next season and his agent were all over the Europe looking for another club that will sign him. His weekly wages is going to be a burden to most clubs therefore he didnt got any other club that was interested for him on summer so yeah everything just breaks down from there
1911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 19, 2022, 10:38:54 AM
I think if Qatar wins only the first match against Ecuador, then no one will look into whether Qatar bribed the opponent's players or won honestly. However, many people will really get suspicious if Qatar somehow takes first place in Group A, thereby beating the Netherlands.

There is no way that they can actually bribed the other teams though. Well aside from all the discussion that Qatar bribed the Ecuador team, this could also be a false rumours started by the bookies to let people think that betting Qatar for the opening game is a the best outcome so in the end most people could actually lose their bet on this opening game
1912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 18, 2022, 09:03:30 PM
I suggest you first watch the full interview. @martyns didn't say he already left Manchester United, but to be honest the probability that he is going to leave is very high I believe

Ten Hag has made the statement that he wont be playing Ronaldo again after his statement on the interview so go figure. There wont be that many games after the World Cup ended so afterward, Ronaldo will most likely leave as he has no reason to stay on bench but the main issue would be to find a club that would want to pay him hefty sum though
1913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 17, 2022, 07:31:04 PM
After so many years this is the team and the coach I believe in would make us see Gunners winning trophy. I think they are doing great. They have beaten almost everybody except for United who did played well and had a good plan in that fixture. I think we are gonna do well and will be consistent but it's the big games like game against City about which I am worried about.

I would comfortably bet on Arsenal though against City. I do realize that City is better than Arsenal but there is a good chance that Arsenal could be pulling an upset against City and at this rate, they can pretty much win most of their games against all the other teams. If Manchester United cant win the EPL then Im going for Arsenal to win it this season

Qatar doesn't allow people to drink alcohol, and it is against the law to be gay, how could it be against the law to be gay?

Its against their 'law' and they intended not to change their law for a month just because this is World Cup so its either you follow the rules or you dont get to watch your favourite country play in Qatar. I think its not fair in some sense but they have all the rights to make the rules because they are hosting this event in their home country
1915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 15, 2022, 07:00:58 PM
as 'daily mirror' reports, premier league club manchester United have accelerated their plans to replace Cristiano Ronaldo - and have chosen none other than france national striker Kylian Mbappe as their new target

So Manchester United is replacing a 'top' player with another 'top' player by spending huge amount of money huh. Honestly, the team doesnt need another 'top' player but need a player that would fit in the squad. Rashford would do so well up front to replace Ronaldo though, there isnt really urgent need to replace Ronaldo with another top name and its just so weird at this point
1916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 15, 2022, 04:55:09 PM
I wouldn't blame him though because he has been maltreated at the club and feels this was the right time and platform to make his feelings known. As far as I’m concerned, other Manchester United players have done worse than this

He was actually not though but he wants to be treated with respect and treated as favourites. He didnt join the pre season as well as few early training season but wanted to be treated as favourites as starter. Ten Hag is not a manager that will treat any player as favourites therefore Ronaldo didnt get any the favouritism that he wanted
1917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 15, 2022, 11:27:35 AM
Even some people firmly believe that Ronaldo was not really happy with the Ten Hag from the start. Ronaldo has to believe that Manchester United and his coach are bigger than him despite his individual achievements over the years.

The thing was that he was already given chances to actually show that he is still capable of being the starting lineup. He was played several times as starting lineup for full 90 minutes on Europa League games but he couldnt really do much. The fact that he could really do much but he wanted to be played as starter regularly is pretty selfish though
1918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 14, 2022, 10:07:54 PM
Its been a good run of games for Newcastle united, a run which has seen them play top 6 sides already before the worldcup break. If Newcastle keep up their pace; they are well on course to get an european spot finish in the league this season. A massive job done by Eddie Howe in just less than a year

European spot huh, at this rate they are good enough for the UCL. They are pretty impressive so far and 7 points behind Arsenal, well yeah although they got 1 more games compared to the top 2 teams but so far they are great. The players that they have is not better compared to the other top teams in term of individual quality but those players fit in each other which makes them a great team

Yes, it is pretty interesting, but I'd advice you not to bring in any player just yet and wait until the world cup is over because if you should sell a player now, you'll be selling for less than he's current market worth, if for any reason you need to settle back for that player before the end of the free window, you'll have to pay the current market price (I don't know if that makes sense or if you understand what I actually meant).

Yeah I kinda got it there and also not to mention that players are prone to injury so picking up some players just before the end of the deadline seems pretty much the best way to utilize this free transfer. Planning on making the full list of players that I might need and transfer them before the deadline, I hope most players on my list wont ended up being injured
1920  Economy / Economics / Re: FTX drama and it’s long term consequences: Bitcoin is a confidence Game. on: November 14, 2022, 07:44:57 PM
When everything started, it wasn't about centralized exchanges, lending platforms, investment opportunities, security tokens, lending, and so on and so forth. It was purely about freedom, ownership, peer to peer, transparency, censorship resistance, and so on.

I doubt that we'll ever get away from centralized exchanges. Its becoming part of the crypto ecosystem already wether we like it or not and yeah we stranded far away from original intention of bitcoin being created but its already part of it for now. Most people that get into crypto nowadays dont even know the term of " not your keys, not your coins" anymore

I can only hope that as soon as the dust settles down, there will be a significant change of behavior in the community, although I have doubts.

The effect is pretty decent though for the community. Abit off topic but imagine what would happen if it was Binance  Roll Eyes
