"Victoria, who was born in Ukraine but has been living in France for 25 years, elaborated during an interview on French TV show Brunet & Cie."

A women has been living in France for 25 years. Yeah, she definetely knows a loooot about current life in Ukraine with Zelensky as the President.

"He's banned 4 opposition TV channels, there were also journalists who disappeared"

Russian channels, on which they pushed Russian political puppets and broadcast the bullshit that is shown on Russian television. It was clearing the ether from crap. And those so-called journalists did not disappear. They went back to Russia, now continuing to engage in information distortion.

Everything else does not even make sense to comment.

1902  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hello from Kyiv, Ukraine on: March 04, 2022, 02:37:40 PM
Oh you're in Kyiv, stay safe there. So how's the situation now? Did they gave you guns? If they did, did they even trained you? It'll be great if you have a social media account to update people. Maybe you can get additional followers from here so that the account could get bumped up or something in the algorithm.

I am also from Kyiv and I can give some update about the situation, even though I know this question was not addressed to me. We have created a territorial defense, which received weapons and protects the city at the boarders. These people are very supportive of a professional army. Such associations are established in almost every settlement, they directly protect the places where they live. Russia did not expect such confrontation from civilians, so their plan to capture Ukraine in 3 days can be thrown away. In Kyiv, the consequences of missile and bomb strikes are noticeable, which are not inflicted on military strategic infrastructure, but on civilian facilities and residential buildings. This is done in order to cause panic and force people to beg for an end to the war by any means. But we hold on and do not plan to give up! With Ukraine in heart!
1903  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How long ukraine could survive? on: March 04, 2022, 02:21:15 PM

Another Soviet Union will be a disaster for all nations under it, Russians in Russia included.

More people should understand that. Otherwise, this catastrophe will happen. Another Soviet Union would be a disaster for all nations, not only those, who would be its parts. That is why it is so important to prevent this disaster. That is why we should be involved in the informational war Russia began. If nothing changes in people's minds, we should not expect changes on the battlefield.
1904  Other / Politics & Society / Russian forces seize huge Ukrainian nuclear plant on: March 04, 2022, 11:11:21 AM
Russian troops are shelling the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. These actions could lead to catastrophe all over the world. Anyone familiar with Chornobyl should understand that only one nuclear reactor exploded in 1986. There are 6 such reactors at the Zaporizhzhya station. The destruction of the station, where Russian soldiers fire from tanks and mortars, could be fatal not only for Ukraine but for the entire continent.
The world community must stop the Russian army, which is committing crimes against humanity!

1905  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will ukraine ever admit their Genocide in Donbas, like the Germans did on: March 04, 2022, 10:44:07 AM
Will the Ukranian people and their Regime ever admit their Genocidal activities in the Donbas Region that started this war, or do they want to go the path of the Holocaust Denyiers?

Regards

I guess, you are one of those who invents all this crap, which is then aired on Russian television? Or are you just a very passionate fan who carries this shit to the thoughtless masses?
1906  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A topic for everyone who still thinks that the Russians do not bomb civilians on: March 04, 2022, 10:31:31 AM

why do ukranians defend their genocidal nazi regime?

You know, I really thought that some rational arguments, based on evidential facts with photos, shared all over the world and justification from other countries, which are not really have interests in Ukraine, can convince people like you. But I was wrong. You are not only subject to the propaganda in which you live, you are a part of it, you reproduce it yourself and give it an impetus to move forward.

There is no point in convincing you from the outside. Only when your authorities, whom you unquestionably trust, your leaders, to whom you have given your right to think, will substitute you so much that it will be a matter of life and death, perhaps only then, will your eyes be opened. At the moment, it makes sense to respond to your comments and posts only so that the audience that is not directly involved in our dialogue understands who is in which positions and who should be listened to.
1907  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How long ukraine could survive? on: March 04, 2022, 10:22:02 AM
It seems that we will witness a long war. Russia will not allow the presence of NATO on its borders at any cost. NATO wants to weaken Russia under the leadership of Putin, and Ukraine is the victim. The economic embargo will not cause harm to Russia alone, but there are many European countries that will be affected by the economic embargo, especially if Russia decides to respond and cut off oil and gas from Europe. I think that Putin will not back down until he achieves his strategic goals, and if the West does not abandon its pride and try to find a way to end the crisis with Russia, the war will be long and may expand much more and threaten the peace of the whole world.

They want to exterminate ("denazify") Ukrainians and annex Ukrainian territory into Putin's Russian Empire.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb3_R__r7Go

Ukrainians will not allow this. Putin wanted to divide us, but united us instead. Ukraine has never been as joint as it is now. People have very fresh memories of the horror of the Soviet Empire. Yes, an empire, not an alliance or union. Even Russians themselves use the terms "Soviet Union", "Russian Empire" and "Russian Federation" as synonyms. They want to recreate themselves as a metropolis with barely alive colonies, from which nothing but resources can be taken. This is how they see their greatness. Bring discord, destruction and degradation to once-living territories and consider themselves superior to those, who already on the verge of death. But they did not expect such resistance. They thought that they would be greeted with flowers, posters and tears of joy. And it turned out that the flowers are waiting for them only on their own graves.
1908  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nobody Deserves to Die: Racial Discrimination in Ukrainian Borders on: March 03, 2022, 09:40:29 PM

usa pushed for seperations of regions like kurdistan from iraq, for decades if it supported their agenda,

u can't just have a regime in ukraine that treats parts of its population as slaves. ukraine never was run like switzerland it was run like a colonial american state benefiting the bank founders while wiping out the ancient peoples. the bank's founders thought in the meantime that their wealth and power was god given so they never felt bad about the human rights issues in donbass.

imagine switzerland that speaks german italian and french would get couped by german nationalists that then would run a discriminatory regime in switzerland that would slowly wipe out the french and italian speaking swiss.

would that be not considered a human rights violation?

We don’t have such a regime. Nobody is treating any part of population as slaves. Have you ever lived in Ukraine or all information you have came from TV and “independent” Russian sources? Ukraine tries really hard to be an independent country, in which the word “freedom” means something. Freedom to speak, to move, to live and to choose. At the meantime our neighbour does everything to steal this right from us and make Ukraine a part of this horrible Russian empire. We shout out loud that we don’t want to be involved in this. Can they finally hear us? How many lives does it need to take for them to finally understand what we are saying?
1909  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nobody Deserves to Die: Racial Discrimination in Ukrainian Borders on: March 03, 2022, 05:53:11 PM

why force them to speak ukranian,

Noboвy forces them to speak Ukrainian in their daily life and interpersonal communication. Ukraine is a multilingual country, and no one is obliged to speak exclusively Ukrainian in absolutely all spheres of life. But there is such a thing as the official state language. And in Ukraine it is the Ukrainian language. A lot of people have lived in my country for decades and make no effort to learn its language. If you want to move to Germany, do you understand that you will need to learn German? How is the situation with Ukraine different?

why did the people of donbass had to be schelled if ukranians government didn't wanted to inves into its russian eastern parts why not let them break away,

Should all regions where people refuse to learn the state language be separated and create so-called "independent republics", which have no legitimate status and which another country uses to start a further full-scale war?
1910  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A topic for everyone who still thinks that the Russians do not bomb civilians on: March 03, 2022, 03:02:19 PM
The Ukraine government armed these civilians, thats very fuckup than military men vs military men. They also freed the prisoners to fight against the Russian arm forces, thats way more than sending them to deathrow. There will be civilians that are going to die, thats war thats why they are warned to seek on borders.

If you are not reserve army, you better get out of Ukraine. Its not your job.

If you want to live in a free, independent country, than it is your job to fight for it. When someone comes to your house, armed and attacking, you defend. Or you die. Ukrainian people don`t wanna die. And living under Putin`s regime is much worse than even dying. That is the reason for us to struggle till we win.

There are civilians that are dying right now. They are dying because Russia throws bombs at Ukrainian cities and civilian objects. Not because the government ordered them to join the army. The majority of the population of Ukraine chose the struggle themselves, it is their own choice, because they are aware of the purpose of their struggle. Can`t say the same about Russian army.
1911  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nobody Deserves to Die: Racial Discrimination in Ukrainian Borders on: March 03, 2022, 02:48:42 PM

why do only africans and asians matter, the entire war was about discrimination and human rights abuses against the eastern ukranians that speak russian and that life there since around 1000 years

the entire western media doesn't said a single word about that

I live in Ukraine for my whole life. I easily speak both Ukrainian and Russian. There was never real language problem. This issue is absolutely artificial, fictional and inflated in order to create conflicts within my country. The purpose for which these conflicts were fueled can be seen now that Russia has attacked Ukraine and is trying to bring it back into the worst system the world has ever seen - the Soviet Union.

Without other satellite countries, Russia does not feel its importance and has no reason to declare its greatness, in which, for reasons completely incomprehensible to me, its population still believes.

the core problem with ukraine is their corrupt government

The core problem of Ukraine is its neighborhood with Russia, which did not go beyond the middle of the 19th century either in convictions, or in social security, or in intellectual development.
1912  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A topic for everyone who still thinks that the Russians do not bomb civilians on: March 03, 2022, 11:00:14 AM

people of donbass where bombed beforehand, ukranian regime is corrupt

if there wouldn't have been a genocive on 14.000 donbassians this war wouldn't have happened.

How much can this nonsense about the corrupt regime and genocide of Donbass be spread? Can you turn on your brain at least once in your life and think for yourself, instead of stupidly repeating what the TV feeds you? Ukraine doesn`t have time to kill its own people. Unlike Russia. We are busy trying to improve our living conditions and make them what we deserve. We are busy traveling, learning from Europeans and growing as people. We are engaged in the fight against corruption on our own, without asking for Russia`s help. Are you really sure that Russia is so concerned about the fate of the people in Donbass? Are you sure that the Russians have mastered their own problems so damn perfect that they have already reached the level of "helping" (read "commanding", "ordering", "dictating") how to live in other countries?
1913  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What have we done and what can we do to help? on: March 03, 2022, 09:34:37 AM
We all speak of how this forum is one big family. A family to the best of my understanding supports one another through thick and thin. I'm concerned about our brothers and sisters in Ukraine who are members of this forum and have been displaced from homes for safety mainly and other reasons this period.

-What have members of this forum done individually and what can we do to assist our brothers & sisters from Ukraine?

The best thing you can do is to understand what is really going on in Ukraine. 99% of information is propaganda. If you can understand the truth, it will help to avoid a repeat of this disaster in future.

Not only undestand what is really going on in Ukraine and prevent similar situations in the future, but also disseminate truthful information right now. The Internet is filled with fakes produced by Russian propaganda system. Not only Russian citizens are subject to them, but also people abroad, especially those who a week ago had never heard of Ukraine at all. The more fakes are dispelled, the clearer the picture will become. And the sooner it will be possible to end the war. I will also leave here the link to specific actions that foreigners can take to help people in Ukraine and refugees who have been forced to leave their homes.

1914  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How long ukraine could survive? on: March 03, 2022, 09:03:50 AM

Despite the effort of the USA and their ally Ukraine is losing ground every day. Kyiv could fall anytime and some major city is already under Russian control. RF would stop after the fall of Kyiv or does Putin has some other plan in mind? This prolonged war could drain the resource of the EU and Russia but in long term, it could bring some stability in that region or we could see another cold war?

This map is total fake. As well as your claims about the occupation and fall of big cities. Ukraine will stand and fight till the end, because we are fighting for something real, not illusional. Ukraine struggles for freedom, democracy and human rights. Ukraine fights for the conviction of the whole civilized world. And we will not give up, because we are sure of our own rightness. We protect our land and our right to live on it as we wish. Ukraine will continue to combat because we don`t want to live in a world invented by a bunch of unhealthy people.
1915  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The list of legit foundations to support the Ukrainian people in crypto on: March 02, 2022, 08:35:12 PM
you have a corrupt government there was no invasion it all was an attempt to take controll of the corrupt elite that violated human rights

Tell this shit to all people dying in Ukrainian cities and those who are forced to leave their homes due to war and become refegees. Russia attacked our country 8 years ago for the first time, but the whole world closed eyes on this. Right now they went further and brought war to the whole territory of Ukraine. This has nothing to do with corrupted government. This is an armed invasion and violation of a number of human and international rights. And the last question: who the hell are they to take control of our internal affairs? Do you like it when someone comes to your house with guns and bombs, shoots your family and dictates to you how to live? This is an attack not only on Ukraine, it is an attack on the whole democratic world. I recommend thinking about this until your country becomes the next one to suffer from it.

Hello, I am from Germany and today I have to watch on TV what is happening in Ukraine. Are there any easy way to help from here? So with bitcoin or cryptocurrencies? I think we can help a little bit here from our community. I wrote this in English and I hope you understood this. All the best.

Yes, you can do this. We will be very grateful. Our Minister of digital transformation posted crypto addresses, to wich you can send BTC, ETC and USDT. People already raised more then 13 million dollars. I provide them below:

"Stand with the people of Ukraine
Now accepting cryptocurrency donations. Ethereum. Bitcoin and Tether (USDTtrc20)

I've asked some of those "traders" countless times, if you're able to get 10%, 20% gains every day or in the least performing cases every week, why do you go around asking for $100-$300 when you could simply ask a friend for a small loan and you're going to make twice that money in a week without having to "offer" your service here and reveal your secrets!

I remember one guy bragging about returning the investment and 100% profit a month, he was offering his services because he got robbed of all his valuables and need to start again... Cheesy

The same situation is observed when I meet such "traders" of super strategies for making money. Their most common lines of behavior when asked: Why, if their grail provides a stable income, they need to look for those who will buy this wonderful strategy from them:

- they either completely ignore these questions
- either start to turn to insults
- either they try to devalue the position of the questioner with all sorts of unnecessary facts that do not relate to the very essence of the question, like boasting that he came to the crypto business much earlier, and therefore understands more.

Not one such "trader" with super strategies has never answered either me or others who are interested in this simple question.

- either assure they found the way on their own, but it is not necessary for everyone else to do this, since they can now become teachers and shorten the learning path for those who are just starting
1918  Other / Archival / Re: Newbies, don't be naive on: December 06, 2021, 10:17:18 AM
Some people just won't listen, they think they know better than anybody. All you can do is watch them go down with their ego...

Personaly, I think it has more to do with worries about finances, rather than with ego. Most people simply do not know how to calmly and rationally think about money issues. Many people do not have enough money, they desperately want it, so they rush to such fake opportunities with false hopes. They do not listen to balanced and critical arguments, not because they think they know best, but because such arguments destroy the myths in which they so want to believe. It is easier for them to live in rose-colored glasses, believing that they will someday be lucky and they will get rich, than to face a difficult reality in which they need to put in a lot of their own efforts to achieve something.

I know your feeling, ive make this stupid mistake when i buy a car this year at april with one eth, and i will never forgive my mistake with this move!

But you have a car, mate. You shouldn`t underestimate what cryptocurrencies have already given you. You didn’t lose your coins, you exchanged them for what you needed at that moment. Your feelings of regret are based on today's realities, which have changed since you made your decision. But at that time, your decision was justified and took into account the current circumstances. When you regret lost opportunities, it's easy to miss new ones. Therefore, while driving your car with pleasure, you can think about new investments.
