Uff India had their chances but Ollie pope and Bairstow did all the damage, now every run going to hurt India's cause.
Batsmen need to step up in the second inning and if middle order fails again then its time to clean up all the mess.

No hope left for India now and it looks like inning defeat is just around the corner. We can't expect many runs from the lower order, the best they can do is try avoiding inning defeat which looks tough task.

This is really shocking defeat after very good win at Lord's specially lower order completely fail to give any impression Pant need to do some better kohli again without triple figure which is also hurting very badly. If you can afford then try to keep these IOTX and wait for some better rate because buying high and selling low is never been good idea for anyone. LOL.. Shaheen Shah Afridi destroyed the West Indies first innings along with Mohammad Abbas. Now suddenly Pakistan has a chance of winning this match. And they did well to score runs quickly. If full 90 overs of play is possible on the 5th day, then the chances are that Pakistan will win this test match and level the series. But any rain interruption would sink that possibility. Also the fact that Pakistan doesn't have a quality spinner in their playing XI for this test may work out against them.
I am not sure why are you so much confident that Pakistan will win this match? Pakistan is known for its inconsistency and if they performed well in the first innings does not mean they will perform well in the second one. They need to take wickets and WI needs to stay on the pitch. The last day of a test match is always entertaining. No one is sure about the win but i think that currently odds are in favor of the Pakistan. If Pakistan can repeat the same bowling performance which they showed yesterday, there are good chances that they will take the match away from WI. However, since its the last day, even a single big partnership by the WI can save the match and who knows they may go on for a win in they have wickets in hands in the last session of the 5th day. That is correct one single big partnership and the match is over for Pakistan. I know Pakistan bowlers performed really well last time but if they only repeat their performance once again, will they win. Whereas WI only need to stick to the wicket till the end of the day. Another issue is the rain, if it's rain then the match will be a sure shot draw. Currently, the best thing is we have all 3 options available as West Indies can win Pakistan's win is also on card and third result draw is also available it's doing great for test matches for me Pakistan is hot favourite because they have good bowling attack which can manage good in last two sessions and give them win. |

Only two days remain and rain interruption is predicted for the next two days as well. On top of that, the ground is very poorly constructed and it doesn't allow play even when there is no rain, as the water is retained for some more time. West Indies board is not spending money to purchase water absorbents and people are doing it manually and that takes a day to dry the ground. If they had spent money on that they could have played in the second day and if there is further rain in this match both the teams should go to the hotel and start preparing for the next match. I am also not expecting a result but lets see if there is any further surprises in stores  . This is really matter of shame for West Indies Cricket Board they are gaining some good profit but not spending amount for better technology and better things, in near future they have to think about this because now it's time for better results and fast actions. Right now situation is favouring draw but If Pakistani bowlers able to have some quick wickets in first session then we can expect some result from this match which already lost 4 sessions just because of weather and poor facilities from West Indies Cricket Board.
