man... the block explores shows wrong hashpower? ....
explorer show 2.5GH miningpool show 5.5GH...

anyhow the miningpool again more than 90% of the network pbbly as most of the blocks i find are orphaned...

this coin shows pretty well where communism goes... lets unite and destroy!
when ppl mining on miningpool realize they are ruining the coin it is too late!

better to sell now, before buyers realize the coin is ruined.

not happening for me, steady smooth mining on an undisclosed pool, far from ruined, this coin is just getting started, lucky (word luck is wired into all this) I have found it  Cool

no fear concentration of hash power it is all nicely distributed, reading on the jackpot algorithm, great! non-linearity will keep this coin in the hands of many (and not the few) it is important especially for the casino like operation!

lol... hashpower nicely distributed? one pool having most of the hashpower means nicely distributed for you? Cheesy

their stats are wrong, do yourself a favor and scan all pools running jackpot write down their hash rates, also you might be literarily *unlucky* but I wish you luck  Cool

1904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SYNC]X11 | POS| 1,000 Coins| Mandatory Update on: May 23, 2014, 12:32:25 PM
Thats what the dev stated, however these are blocks with 0 reward. they are there to have a "smoother" transition into PoS

HELP
i dont know how to update a wallet, cant i just download a new one and transfer my coins to that thanks

Assuming you are on windows do the following:

open explorer (not internet explorer) and type: %appdata%
locate: Sync
delete everything in that directory except wallet.dat
Strat the new wallet and let it update.

Done.

theres a folder with the data base if i delete that will my coins dissapear

No, your coins are stored only in wallet.dat

PLEASE 1) ENCRYPT your wallet and 2) BACKUP your wallet , preferably to more than one drive

iam to new at this never encrypted before but i did copy all files to a usb stick  cant i download a new wallet and send the coins to the new wallet?

you lose USB stick and it is all gone in seconds, we want to lock all our SYNC's to create very tight secure market, it is part of it's allure

type "how to encrypt wallet" and "crypto" and another search "how to encrypt USB drive" this is your Today's homework, take your time, your future retirement might be in your hands (depending on the amount) also do not give in to immediate gains even if coin goes up to 6 BTC per unit.. hold tight thank you

SYNC wallet fully synced up! (as per below post block chaining is happening again) just happened, unlocking for POS...

1907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SYNC]X11 | POS| 1,000 Coins| Mandatory Update on: May 23, 2014, 12:12:47 PM
Just saw this !

[THE DEVS EXTENDED THE POW PERIOD FOR ANOTHER 1000 BLOCKS. STRATUMS RE-ENABLED - THIS COIN POOL WILL BE TAKEN OFFLINE ON 2014-06-06] Sync.SuchPool.pw

really ?

Yes, but just to help a better transition into PoS, the new blocks do not add more coins

right right.. thank you, very professional operators... although 2% fee is a bit too much but it is a free market economy  Cool

really ? DEVS are pool DEVS I assume, they are waiting for us to mine next block and keep their mining active so they can complete payouts I presume... solid pool operators must say
1909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SYNC]X11 | POS| 1,000 Coins| Mandatory Update on: May 23, 2014, 12:05:11 PM
Good morning

I don't like the sound of this : " [PAYOUT ENABLED, withdraw at your own risk. - The PoW period is DONE. No coins can me mined anymore. Full PoS started on block 7200. STRATUMS STOPPED - THIS COIN POOL WILL BE TAKEN OFFLINE ON 2014-06-06] Sync.SuchPool.pw "

Not when SYNC could be lost in the black hole

This just means that they are aware the chain is stuck, your coins are safe but it could take a long time for them to confirm in your wallet

appreciate it , thank you ! pressing payout button................

I have 1/n of coin in the confirmed and 1/n of coin in the unconfirmed bin, what is worst that happen if I hit payout right now, or should I wait ?, community please advice, thx !

Hi, here is my logos and splashscreen for the contest.

Thanks! Check you PMs!

last logo at the bottom is awesome, wheel of fortune, coin hints and amplifies chance aspect of crypto coins  Cool

I do also like "777" because eeeevryone knows what it means, overall great coin , right amount of max coins, special algorithm (innovation) you are going places

1914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SYNC]X11 | POS| 1,000 Coins| 15 mins mining left| NOW ON MINTPAL on: May 23, 2014, 04:46:29 AM
has pow finished?

yes! some minutes ago.
in the next hours POS should start (and confirming the last 50 mined blocks too)

Hours for POS to start?  That seems...awkward.  No further transactions will go through until we have block 7201 and beyond, right?

that is right, but maybe POS starts in some minutes. i canīt say when this first stake is incoming, maybe someone can Show a screenshot if it is happen.
It is my understanding that staking is already taking place, except that you don't have mature coins until thirty days. My wallet shows a stake weight when I run "getinfo" in the console, and also a little arrow symbol on the overview page that says "Not staking because you don't have mature coins" when you hover over it. Similar to other PoS coins I've played with. So long as your wallet and several others are connected to the network, it'll keep generating blocks. What I have no idea of is the block times. In some coins it seems to speed up significantly in PoS mode. Lower diff or something.

Interesting.. ok, cool opening SYNC wallet for all night.. see if magic will happen, fraction of SYNC appearing from "nowhere"

Ready to switch rigs away to do other work, this was taxing but very cool

I like to wear sunglasses at night  Cool

honest and determined devs!
GDN will be 2nd best X11 coin after DRK  Wink

+1
I like the team behind this coin... and i think nowadays in this altcoin jungle it's the most important thing!
Ready to point my rigs back to GDN once the wallet will be fixed.
Thank u for ur efforts to give to the GDN community and to us a fair, genuine and promising coin!

+1

Holding rigs off as well. Infinitypool has my 217 unconfirmed coins, dev, when the fix is released please notify pool operator

As far as coins being minted during fix operation, I treat them as "premine" or "instamine" in my opinion they should be destroyed,
however if % is not too large, I would also vote for a bounty process, but keep the operation very tight.

-or- a combination of two small % kept for bounties and rest destroyed, block explorer should clearly point to "gap" in the blcok chain all nicely exposed for all to see.. investors will absolutely LOVE you.. and miners will point rigs at this coin, because it seems trust is what has been missing in this whole equation... (generally as alt crypto coins is concerned)

you have earned my respect... and trust

That URL doesn't exist anymore - the new address is: https://www.minep.it/pool/lim/

Would appreciate if you change that sometime. BTW - we're currently running at 150MH on LIM Smiley

Fixed.  Cheesy thanks for ponting me out, and by the way, nice pool  congratulations.  Grin

Hehe, thanks  Smiley

your pool user interface is ingenious minep.it  , I have never seen anything like it...
