Its because no one is mining it, or no blocks are being found, the chain only moves when blocks are found due to mining, as soon as some one starts mining and finds a block, it will immediately sync everything up.
I see 9 active connections, but no blocks being found. It seems someone was overmining or mining ahead of the schedule, does that make it so that the blocks become harder to find for others afterwards? is that what is causing the current thing? the blocks found shouldn't be over 3500 to 4500 since june 22, when the coin was launched, but I see there is 8922 blocks found. its been overmined, but how correct this in the future, any ways to 'prevent' this overmining? Thanks for your help Bloody hell perhaps coin dev isnt for you my friend. The state of play is this : "version" : 80602, "protocolversion" : 70002, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 106.44824580, "blocks" : 8922, "timeoffset" : -4, "connections" : 6, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 0.42238679, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1435253153, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.00001000, "errors" : "" So diff isnt that high It dosn't matter how many connections your wallet says you have, if your not mining this POW or not staking POS (which your coin dosn't do ) nothing will move ! I suggest everyone opens there wallets, Makes sure there coin.conf says this: rpcuser=SOME USER rpcpassword=SOME NONSENSE LONG CHAIN OF LETTERS addnode=54.194.99.126 addnode=37.187.99.136 daemon=1 Then goes to console and types And then hope someone finds a block Or someone puts some power through the pool

What a bizarre thread I fail to see how the original dev can just walk back in and claim to "Be Back" I'm afraid it does not work like that, no doubt you throwing your toys out of the pram cause some to lose not only faith in you but also coins. I think you either need to be invited back, or asked to come back.... It's not your given right! TheMightyKnight has worked hard to try and revive this coin, and I have spoke to him several times today, he certainly seems to have the passion and drive needed, along with a pleasant and mature attitude. I personally feel, and I hold no COV that having read up on this coin and its numerous threads, that having the original dev back, will ultimately be the death of this coin. I am involved in a similar situation with another coin, where the dev walked away and caused all sorts of trouble. we have managed to turn that around and I expect a x4 in price within the next 10 days. But would we ever accept the old dev back ... No we woudn't. things need to move on and trust needs to be gained, and from what I see no one trusts the dev not even TheMightyKnight so what chance do you have to get new investors when the current ones dont believe . Anyway that's my 2penies worth..

Right first off it sounds to me like it forked, perhaps when the node was switched off, if that is the case then the coins are gone.
Taken from my pool and node:
"version" : 80602, "protocolversion" : 70002, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 392.08566573, "blocks" : 8198, "timeoffset" : -3, "connections" : 7, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 0.34871656, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1435227852, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.00001000, "errors" : ""
So your blocks are around that then you are now on the right chain.
I would also like to add that all though I at first thought this coin was a joke, I am some what impressed that the Dev ( and I use that term lightly ) has come out and said that A/ He did in fact purchase the coin and B/ That he has little to no experience as a Dev.
That is rare in the fact that it displays honesty and there isn't much of that around this Alt forum at present.
Now if I could just get my head around what it is this dev is trying to achieve with this coin, then perhaps I and others would help out a little.
Cheers

As long as pools keep adding those coingen coins, the "dev's" will continue to use it ... :-(
Yeah but I cant have people losing coins when I can just chuck up a pool, and give them a node. Blame coingen not me, I just provide a service not the coin, it's then upto the individual to make an informed decision on if to mine it or not.

@2bacco so ok I was mining an then closed the wallet and reopened it.After that the wallet show 0 coins without any transactions. Based on that you can see that there is no coin theft. It's a wallet issue I thought
I cant have people losing coins ! Wait while I throw a node up so you can sync up and get your coins back. addnode=37.187.99.136 Will edit this once its up DONE PLEASE SEE BELOW

The server currently running this is here : https://www.kimsufi.com/en/Its the KS-2 However I don't lie and the pool is at it's max on that server, If I don't sell the pool I shall be upgrading to the KS-3 next mth, as its not really about the space as block chains arnt that huge... but the RAM is very important. With regards monthly income.. its hard really to nail that one down. I do however cover costs, via the MRR referrals and the fee's charged. Example looking at what is being mined right I'm taking 2% on all those So: Soon is 0.2 per block.. we are hammering that coin at present : http://explorer.sooncoin.com/Ham is 0.25 per block and again we are doing fine there BNRTX is 10 per block may not come to anything, but I'm known for helping new coins Hope this answers your questions

I'm not going to go into major selling mode here... But I'm contemplating selling my pool. www.umine.co.ukThe sale would of coarse include the domain name, you can have the server also if you wish, or just set up a new server and add the coins that I have etc Anyway open to offers

Hmm someone is buying a lot before the new wallet.
Are you surprised this will x4 at least within 10 days !

I offered to add this to my pool, and asked the OP if there was a bounty for pools, to which his reply did not answer my question, and as I really cant see this going any where, I havn't waisted my time adding it.
Me:
Any bounty for making a mining pool for your coin ?
2bacco
How much of a bounty should be paid for that?
No idea dude, its your coin you figure it out ! I mean seriously how are people going to take you serious when you sound like a 5 yr ol

So this is the second takeover within a few days ?
If so what happened to the takeover that was posted on the 21st of this mth by CV2 ?
I'm getting all confused now who is and who isnt trying to take this over ?

as i said the wallet is a simple clone of the Litecoin, there are lot of indication about litecoin instead of 2Bacco. I got 20K 2bacco now. Maybe Dev you need to create a better wallet and a roadmap.
The 2bacco.com is promoting other website, but have you asked to some website to starting to accept 2bacco as a payment system?
i can help you in some actions to do..but you need to improve the wallet and explain a project
Shit man did you really mine this !
|
|
|
You can also add this to the list of nodes:
addnode=37.187.99.136
Maybe worth adding both the new node and pool details to the first post.

Thanks for the heads up, definitely looking into that, you're suggesting raising or lowering the 50,000= $1
Well as it is now the mining costs v the coins actual worth on your site just dosn't make it financially viable to mine. In other words, price of mining $1 worth, costs more than $1 So you see the issue here why would people mine something and lose money ? Fortunately that's not my issue to resolve
