1901  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Annoying trading moments? on: June 05, 2017, 03:00:41 AM
Moments that often annoy me when trading is when there is a bot, because he will always cover our buy order and fishing us to do pump. But this also is always a lesson for me to be more careful when trading, and always I for the two stages of buy order is greater the amount to prevent the dump
I do really hate bots which you can rarely see if you do have a newbie eyes specially on trading you can easily see if theres a bot or none when it comes to buy or sell orders you will surely panic if you cant able to comprehend your trading position on those times. The one thing annoys me when i do purchase on a certain price and then it lowers it value and dont have time to cut lose on minimal amount.
1902  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bter.com disabled bitcoin withdrawals? on: June 05, 2017, 02:20:31 AM
Edit: exchange your BTC to LTC and withdraw it, LTC withdrawal is working!
Fast man, they can dissapear very quickly. Save ur coins this way.
Good luck!
You dont have soo much time left and do this way already on switching to another coin and withdraw it as fast as you can and dont bother on the less amount of trading prices. This is the best possible way to get out on that site. They refuse withdrawal because of local policy somethings fishy and its too hassle to give again your documents for verification.
1903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 05, 2017, 01:46:33 AM
Yay!! DCORP crowdsale started already and got my 1200 dcorp already. I'm loving it. I hope it will be fair deal to invest in this new ICO. I was excited on the angel day and was able to buy at 650 per ETH rate. Also bought some yesterday and I'm having full positive review for DCORPS success. Keep it up guys and let's rock on the final day sale.

Whats a full positive review of something that is not launched?

The final day sale is nearly a month away.
Some ICO has been succesful in juast a week and they no longer have to wait for a month to get the amount that they need to raise to begin the development of the project. It's also obvious alreadythat this ico is a success because they received plenty of investment already in just a short period of time.
They got the success because of their good planning. After they start to implement their planning then you do not know that how much people will get benefit from it and with that success the demand of their token will increase and so the investors of this project will earn a high amount within a few months.
Months or on Few weeks doesnt really matter at all as long the project have shown progress on its Crowdsale it does depend on their plan.If they do love to make it a month then it doesnt matter coz people will eventually wait no matter what and its better to be longer/slower but we can assure that this is really a serious project.
1904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Coins - where does their value come from? on: June 05, 2017, 01:20:54 AM
Bitcoin and simular coins for payments, I understand.

But for other coins, I can see the why the technology is useful, but how do the coins/tokens benefit of this?
For example Ripple, I see the value of the technology, so assuming all banks at some stage will use them. How is XRP benefitting of this?

Another example Golem, understand the technology of a global super computer. But how will the GNT benefit of global usage? Am sure I am missing something, thanks a lot for helping me out!
Speculation is the leading cause of the price rise in altcoins. Even coins like Ethereum haven't proved themselves yet but the crypto economy moves around speculation rampantly.
True, speculations of people or users of it does really gives value on a certain altcoin even they didnt still prove anything on cryptoworld or on development. Price do comes from its users commonly as long there is a demand price would rise up no matter what.If there are no altcoin on the market then all would be focused on bitcoin only but it wont happen because people would tend to use or create alternatives later on.
1905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Btc or Ltc? on: June 04, 2017, 03:35:58 AM
What about the ETH rocket?  Huh
ETH has made its move and it is a really risky proposition to enter the coin at this valuation,i would go for litecoin because i do expect that there is a rally left in the coin and since you have a limited budget i would suggest invest in litecoin as that is the under valued coin right now in the market.

ETH´s  price  is very high now, about LTC it looks a good option, but BTC could be better choise maybe.

Yap i dont mean to judge but as far as i can remember LTC has existed before ETH and eth is now more successful than ltc. i have had investments in ltc hoping for it's increase but i did not have some luck during the phase. Eth as i observed has been making a lot of headlines lately and i gotta say, more in more investors are accumulating eth coins. And i know someone who invested in ETH last year and he now is a millionaire in my country. SO yeah eth is better.
I have remember wayback on last year that i have engaged on ETH faucets which do gives decent amount when it was just starting and decided to leave and focus only to bitcoin and now i do somehow regret and murmuring to myself why i did quit and leave eth behind and now its soaring up high and might give me a million as of these days. Back to topic, Btc or Ltc then we do have a common answer for most people here.
1906  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: btcclicks.com gone scam? (deleted my acc with 2000 ref) on: June 04, 2017, 03:08:36 AM
hey guys
btcclicks.com gone scam?
they deleted my acc with 2000 ref Cheesy
i ve created the acc afew years ago and promoted my ref in more than 500 site

what the fu** ?
Upon searching and using Google, this site is an advertising platform and paid-to-click service/website.

And according to your issue, are you sure that you never break one of their TOS(Terms of Service), as you mentioned you have a lot of referrals, and 2000 is a lot IMO. And I guess they will not suspend an account with no reason/s.

mate
im not stupid that much to break the rules with 2000 ref Smiley
my earning was about 0.01-0.02 btc per month
so im not idiot to break the rules
If you hardly believe that you didnt break any rules or ToS then the best way is to contact them  why you account have been deleted or locked and 2000 refs is a hell of an account which is worth i guess since you do make earnings on 0.01-0.02 and thats already money on monthly basis.I have tried this site once but decided not to go further on PTC sites.
1907  Other / Off-topic / Re: (Security) will virtual keyboard save me? on: June 04, 2017, 02:27:53 AM
How will a virtual keyboard protect you, if someone is recording your session? { Remote software gives hackers access to whatever is displayed

on your desktop. } The best protection for now is 2FA to a mobile phone, so if the hacker do not have access to your phone, it would be more

difficult for them to acquire your password. Some hackers bruteforce passwords or they hack the database.  Angry
Hackers are not already sticking to the old school of hacking which they do made classical keylogger which are famous in the past and yet this thing should be be aware of on remote software and using virtual keyboard is useless because all you do is been watched or recorded and chances of getting hacked is really high. Setting 2fa is always been advisable because even they bypass the first layer ,they would be stuck on the 2nd verification.
1908  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much to Trade? on: June 04, 2017, 02:03:56 AM
How much in percentage of your total bitcoin do you allot or invest to trade? Is it like 50% hold and 50% invest in tradings or how do you go about it?
Is it wise to invest all your 100% bitcoin in trading if you feel it is the right opportunity?
Even you feel the right opportunity dont really let your emotions do push you to go 100% and its always self to save some incase and unexpected things to happen since we do all know that all things doesnt have an assurance that it would go as we planned. Only spend on the amount you can afford to lose and making partitions or diversification is always advisable no matter how potential does a coin have.
1909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [SHOCK] Core dev and Blockstream employee tells bitcoin users to use fiat! on: June 04, 2017, 01:40:09 AM
High fees will continue as long as the miners doesn't have any consensus if this miners really want to increase the blocksize so everyone in bitcoin network will be happy but i guess they're enjoying the high fees because it is much more profitable for them.
What's the point of UASF then, it is a plan to keep the users from believing that it will activated someday which is most likely will not. I think if they feel like it to implement segwit they can do it immediately without without any need of consensus.
We dont know whats actually on their minds regarding on increasing blocksize either they would remain that way or been changed for the goodness of bitcoin users. You do have make a point that they will not activate it because they do love to milk bitcoin users who do love on making transfers.Imagine that fees do really already hurt its users-correct me if im wrong since ive been experiencing it already. Changes are always welcome if this thing would remain i think there would be good alternative.
1910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: June 02, 2017, 08:08:14 AM
Emotional management comes from having strict trading rules and trading experience. You shouldn't be buying into positions on a whim. instead you should know exactly when to buy, where to sell and where to put your stop loss at. if you do it this way, trading becomes less emotional and much more controllable because it is based on math. Good traders don't gamble, they do all the calculations before they make their move.
Trading would only like a gamble when you do jump directly without any proper plans and calculation on such trade and yes emotional management is really a big factor that do affect our trading style or pattern because this would really affect our mind on making decision on setting up on a trade. Experienced traders surely passes this kind on the past and mostly have this kind of situation are on newbies.
1911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this normal? Btc address with negative balance on: June 02, 2017, 07:33:53 AM
What bitcoin wallet are you using? Try to contact their support and ask about this problem, I know this is just some bugs on their system, and they didn't know about it, so if you are going to consult it to them, they will fix this as soon as possible. I've never experienced this before, but trust me, contacting their support is the best idea so far. Smiley
We dont know what wallet do he use since its been showing negative balance and i can say ive seen this kind of scenario on the past which someone do have negative balance on his wallet. Its just really on bug issues on a certain wallet and you are right the best way is to informed the wallet provider through their support. If the wallet address isnt important to you then better to create a new one than bothering yourself on thinking on it.
1912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Would like to buy $500 ETH on: June 02, 2017, 06:27:32 AM
Hello, I am looking to buy $500 USD worth of ETH.  Looking for trusted sellers and willing to follow the steps for a safe transaction on both parts.  I am in the U.S and have been having trouble with certain payment platforms, but am open to whatever is deemed trustworthy.  Just want to get this in a safe way.  If your trusted please hit me up with the process you would like to take.

Why not buy on trusted exchange site if you want to buy some? And by asking some seller here might gonna harm your money since we doesn't know if they are trusted enough for having a deal like this but if you really want to buy via p2p well you should used some trusted escrow so that you will not fall on those people who are aftering to scam those fool people around.

this is true, why op would bother himself on making p2p transactions since we can bought on many exchangers online. Always seek out on the top reputable site than on unknown ones.If you are residing on US i think its not really hard on buying eth just check it out what would really suits you or you have the capability to buy online. Dont mind on making p2p,just buy directly on exchanges.
1913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Betcoin.ag Scam on: June 02, 2017, 04:05:55 AM
Hello everybody,

Just sending a message to anyone willing to spend some ETH/BTC to Betcoin's Casino.
I've sent a couple of transactions to my casino account, Ethereum mainly. Everytime I've been told that it would take maximum 15 minutes.
It has now been one day, and still nothing appearing on my BETCOIN.AG account. Over 1200 blocks have confirmed my transactions, and the administrators keep telling me that they needs "blocks to confirm my transactions".

Just posting this to make sure that noone else get ripped with their ETH.

Cheers,
Flo
Hmmm another issue on Betcoin.ag but i would like to seek or see the proofs regarding on such claims. Please do post on the message that was sent for you by betcoin.ag that telling they will pay you out for deleting this thread? Im not one sided here but to be fair when we do make accusation then you should provide some proofs that would really convince the public and lastly this is not the proper thread.
1914  Other / Archival / Re: True Flip - Become a shareholder of world's largest blockchain lottery on: May 31, 2017, 09:31:02 AM
This is just a brandnew site but there are already lots of complaints or issues against it which means its not really worth to put our money on here. Lottery based games are non famous and doesnt gain popularity ahead. There are some who tried at first then vanished after because no one would likes to bet.Reading above comments those are poor response and scamming attempts made by this site. How poor it is.
1915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm doing a study on Bitcoin on: May 31, 2017, 08:26:32 AM
Thank you for all your suggestions. I have now created the survey:

Does your company accept Bitcoin? If so, please complete the below survey and share it to ensure we get the greatest reach possible. It's currently taking 4:51mins on average to complete 8-)

https://valueofbitcoinstudy.typeform.com/to/rw6P82

If anyone has any suggestions for where best to share the survey that would be much appreciated.

BitPay recently tweeted the link to the survey https://twitter.com/BitPay/status/850417969482149888 if you could retweet and send to anyone you know that accepts Bitcoin that'd make a big difference. Hopefully, we'll find insights into the impact that Bitcoin is having. The results can then give tangible evidence to point to convince sceptical businesses to accept Bitcoin and contribute towards a tipping point of global Bitcoin adoption.

Or it'll just be interesting to see how Bitcoin's affecting day to day business. Either way please share to as many people as you know.

Also any other suggestions/comments/questions are much appreciated.
Just been answered all the survey questions on the link and i can say they are good question to collect from bitcoins users and i assumed we do really have the same answers specially on the last part or portion of those questions. You can really able to learn about more on those informations given or feedbacked by the community if you are truly a newbie then you will surely understand it based on opinions of people.
1916  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Localbitcoins account suspended on: May 31, 2017, 07:11:53 AM
Here is their answer:

"Hi,

Our automated fraud/risk detection system has flagged your account as high risk. The flag can be caused by a number of factors. We don’t specify what exactly caused the flag in order to allow us to remain proactive with regards to these risks.

Before we can unblock your account we will require you to complete some additional ID verification steps.

1. A photograph of you ("Selfie") holding up your ID a long with a note containing your username and today's date.
2. A photograph of a recent utility bill with your name on it.
3. A photograph of your ID held up in front of your computer screen with the whole screen visible (all four corners) and this ticket page visible.

Once you have completed these steps - reply to this support ticket and attach the photographs you've taken.

---
Best regards,
LocalBitcoins"

It's an automated reply, I hope they will resolve the issue soon as I have provided all they ask.
The only hard photo is of the ID with the screen, the light from the screen makes the phone reduce ISO, thus the ID becomes less visible, they did not think this one through I guess.
They do really have the right to suspend your account since they detect unusual activity on it which means you dont have any choice but to comply on the things that have been mentioned. If you dont like to expose of your identity then better not to send any of the requirements posted above. Moved on and create another account if you wish but i think they would be somehow strict basing on IP? correct me if im wrong.
1917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any way to have cheap transactions now? on: May 31, 2017, 06:26:14 AM
Due to the increased on-chain tx fees, typical fees has become 0.001-0.002 BTC.

However, poloniex is still able to provide 0.0001 fee withdrawals (which merge a lot of payments together, while having overall 400-500 sat/byte fee, resulting in 0-1 block delay confirmation)

My question is, are they any other (centralized) how wallets where I can keep small amount for daily usage (payments in the range of a few mBTCs)?

I know until recently xapo had free on-chain tx..but now their fees is also in the 0.0005-0.0009 BTC range, which is impractical for $2-5 payments.
Theres no where to go but forcibly pay up the fees on which they do require on making transactions thats why i do make use of blockchain.info when in terms of small transaction and just setting up small fees because i am not on a rush thats why i dont bother if that would takes time but in your case better stick on xapo. Exchange wallets making it as a primary is very risky for me.
1918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ANY NEW ICO OFFERING BOUNTIES? on: May 31, 2017, 05:57:19 AM
Good day all, Kindly help me locate any new ICO opening with bounties to give out. I will be grateful for your assistance.
Go here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0 you will find lots of ICOs there on different coins. Just a friendly reminder be careful on selecting ICO's since there are some who become scam later on and that would cause for us to lose up money. Invest the money on you can afford to lose up. Good luck buddy
1919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That day when Bitcoin hits $50.000.- on: May 31, 2017, 05:23:07 AM
Damn. It's better to leave my mark in here.

HELLO GUYS FROM THE FUTURE!

Also, why would you sell your Bitcoins when they are worth $50k if you can use them anywhere? As you said, every shop accepts bitcoin as a method of payment. No more selling "digital currencies" for the "real money" called Dollar. Bitcoin IS the real money. LONG LIVE BITCOIN!

Btw, imagine if in the future each Bitcoin are actually worth $1m each. We will be laughing about such low value you are predicting...
Nice words you haver there pal. and i would say the same "HELLO FOLKS,im bitcoin user in the past"  Grin But seeing and assuming the price of bitcoin on what is being mentioned on OP i can really say that its too over to realize or think off that price would go this price point. maybe $10k is reachable but talking about $50k i think it would not reach that amount. Not for being too negative here but this is just exaggerated.
1920  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: May 30, 2017, 05:10:38 PM
I just read on Btcjam blog that they are closing down: https://blog.btcjam.com/2017/05/25/btcjam-is-closing/, now I am just wondering if big players in thebitcoin industry are closing down, is there any future for bitcoin really.

I came to know about bitcoin through btcjam when i was introduced there to borrow. Eve in this forum, looks most signature campaigns might close down because of the ever rising price of bitcoin. Most of them have reduced their payout amounts for posting by more than 50%. Is this a good sign or a bad sign for the bitcoin development?
Signature campaigns close down? Have you tried to check on the latest list of running campaigns and you will see what i mean. Even the price rose up on a certain high but doesnt really affect those campaign it may decrease the rates but not affected too much and talking about BTCjam i think they are done enough on those issues related on scam among users thats why they decide to close up.
