981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Rewards: Sell immediately or HODL? on: April 13, 2018, 07:50:19 PM
Sometimes I prefer to sell all the coins at once, and sometimes I keep the coins of the project. It all depends on the project, on how much I believe in the future of this project. Sometimes I do not like how the bounty campaign is organized and so I sell the tokens, I think that a professional team should be professional in everything.
It is not a good indication to rely on about on how the campaign is being managed yet it would still entirely depending on the potential of such project. Bounty rewards either would choose to be hold up or to sell out immediately and this thing would be depending into your decision. There are instances on where we do need money yet we need to cash out immediately for the benefit but sometimes there are exclusions which we do saw that the coin do had potential and decide to hold it up for some time.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves vs. Bitcoin on: April 13, 2018, 06:45:51 PM
It's rather impossible for waves to replace bitcoin. Even can't compare both currencies very much. Waves may be more competition for eth or neo. To replace bitcoin has no chance.
I dont know why Waves is being compared on with bitcoin since its obvious whose clearly the winner on here which is Bitcoin.Even top altcoins in the entire cap cant even still defeat bitcoin after all these years and we do see the btc dominance on the entire market thats why i dont doubt that bitcoin would always be on the top, Waves is a good project but its not right to compete or compare it with bitcoin though.
983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: April 11, 2018, 11:15:02 AM

Before taking out of bed in the morning you should have already a set of priorities on that day. Although at the moment I am not really busy so usually morning time before lunch I am done with the news and updates in crypto.
Even not connected or correlated with crypto thing we should really make a habit on setting our goals or schedules on that particular day that we would like to be done. Time management is crucial when you do have a hectic schedule but if you have too much time then it would be still okay to make some other thing.Just like myself i do have a particular time when im checking out recent updates or news with crypto and do check out my pending long trades.
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 is stabity year ? on: April 11, 2018, 10:45:28 AM

http://www.scmp.com/business/article/2140811/mature-cryptocurrency-market-draw-more-institutional-traders-year-analyst
...........
The value of cryptocurrencies has plunged more than 50 per cent this year, but some analysts are upbeat the asset class will grow more popular and mature this year, with a gradual increase in trading volume and decrease in volatility. ..........

There will most likely be more dips coming in the short term.

But yes, 2018 is going to be relatively stable compared to last year. The price isn't going to move down much once we hit the bottom as the support grows. It's unlikely that we will see any major uptrend right now either.

Trading volume shouldn't increase, because after all, we're still in a bear market. 2018 is going to be a consolidation year. Price movement from both sides are going to be limited.
I will prefer this kind of market compared on what we have seen on previous year where price do moves very fast and do also comes down very fast too. I would prefer this kind of movement. We might not see big pumps but somehow we would like to see big and strong supports which would somehow assure us that the price wont dump so easily. This is indeed a consolidation time and anytime soon price would tend to rise up again gradually but no one really knows on what would happen ahead.
985  Economy / Economics / Re: its not about how much you invested, its when you should invest? on: April 11, 2018, 10:12:16 AM
kinda strange when investing in a volitile  market. you can spend 10,000 $ into the market in january and come out less. than what a person invested in april with 10,000 $.
Common thing that do happen in this market and most people dont have any realizations on what they are doing which they do enter market without any analysis.Just putting up money because they do like to earn money but eventually the market broke their expectations. This is why we should be careful on entering not just putting up money because you had been hyped up by someone.Do it for your own risk because we are talking money on here we should done the things that are necessary.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Some coins pump hard nowadays on: April 10, 2018, 12:16:24 PM
Have you realized the sharp increase in some coins like matchpool, ubiq and patientory. As far as I know there is no news related to these coins. Institutional investors or pump dump?
If we dont see gradual increase or lets say a sharp price increase then theres no questions asked because its obviously a pump and dump.Usually we should keep an eye to this rare cases because this thing do only happen once or few times in a matter of time.If you missed on selling out then you might not able to see that profitable situation. This is not a usual thing yet i have seen lots of pumps in any coins in the market.
987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I stop looking at Bitcoin Price on: April 10, 2018, 11:56:39 AM
I just stop looking at bitcoin price. It hurts me actually, that's why I took this decision. I am holding few of BTC and I will not look at my wallets too for 2 months. I hope after 2 months when I will go to see bitcoin price, maybe I will scream happily. What about you guys?  Grin
Dont expect too much that the price would be higher on 2 months later. You might cry even more when the price dips even more but i do agree that not seeing the price for sometime would somehow relieve your stress compared on seeing it actively.Even myself too dont see it too much because when it decrease its price i feel stressed which would result on anger and short tempered which will affect other things as well but if you are patient and do active trades then this thing is only normal for you but for long term then it isnt suggested at all.
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did ETH changed crypto world? on: April 10, 2018, 11:13:47 AM
Very often we ask questions, whether ETH is worth to invest. For me ETH changed the crypto world, it is revolutionary.

Here is the article on the ERC20 and how it affected the tokens: https://icoguide.com/en/blog/what-is-erc20-and-how-does-it-affect-tokens

Do you agree? please share your opinion.
Of course, Ethereum revolutionized the technology of blockchain. We saw smart contracts and decentralized applications. Ethereum made it possible to conduct ICO.. I think that the developers will not stop there. The platform will evolve.

As we can see the progress on which ETH did able to make we can see that this project is really succeeding. Smart contracts is really a good innovation and thats why this platform is being used for more coins in the market.I do see it doesnt really need to add up even more projects which do make use of ETH platform. It can possible change or do made innovation and yet it is already being used by some organizations.Eth network is much suitable when it comes to transactions and smart contracts is the main thing on here.
989  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What makes a successful trader, not a gambler? on: April 09, 2018, 04:22:14 AM
To be a successful trader you need to know the market movement and the investors favorit coin, to become a good trader need time and need alot of analysis skill, a trade without proper  basic and skill is the same with gambling, in trading we got data to compare so it's easier to predict the movements while in gambling we are depend on luck

I know many traders in real life who do it for a living.

Basically one thing they all have in common is experience.

Most of them have been traders for 10-20 years. I don't know anyone who does it successfully and consistently thru the bear and bull markets with less than that timeframe.

And experience is something you can't teach but you need to experience.

Many of us became good traders during the last bull market but how many will survive thru the bear and sideways markets.

It's not only crypto. Stock markets are also suffering.
Yes, i have encountered lots of traders who do make it as a living and ive met them on forex market i dont know if this traders do exist on crypto market but i presumed there would be people who engage into this matter. You are right experience is one of the most important thing to sustain this market,it cant really be easily attained by someone but if they dont sustained to do thing for long term.Just learned up things along the way and this is how a true characteristics of a trader.
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest wisely on: April 09, 2018, 03:45:35 AM
Invest responsibly in not only cryptocurrency but anything such as stocks, forex, etc.  Don't put your babies milk money into cryptocurrencies and then panic when you're losing money.   If you're eating ramen just to buy cryptos, that's not being responsible either.
We should always be on balance on all sorts of things not only on investment side but also into other things as well. As an investor we should really be responsible thru our actions since we are already involving our own money to use up in sorts of investment and as being suggested only used up the money which arent being used into your priorities and needs in life. Dont make any compromisation into those things only allocate amounts which you can able to risk on.
991  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need regulations? on: April 09, 2018, 02:58:35 AM
How do you guys think? Do we need regulations in the crypto world? Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too? Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry? Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?

Please, share your thoughts. I'm a bit confused about what's happening right now.
the rule is necessary in bitcoin, because the rule is necessary to keep people using bitcoin from making mistakes.

Your explanation is so vague. Regulations are needed since Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency. Without regulations, Bitcoin might be used in a crime by criminals and use it to fool people to give them money. No one will help you since Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency, unless Bitcoin is regulated by the government, it is hard to to trust your digital currency
If its not regulated it doesnt mean that it will be used in illegal things rampantly. We do see regulation is already gradually increasing into some countries we dont have any choice but to embrace such changes.Even bitcoin is being regulated but it cant really be removed into its decentralized properties.Regulation is much better compared into a total ban but even in the situation on where it is already regulated there would be still hidden transactions that cant be traced up by the government and thats the good thing on using up cryptocurrencies which we do either choose on regulated or not kind of transactions.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Should we limit members in one campaign? on: April 07, 2018, 11:52:20 PM
Dear all,
Sorry for any inconvenience for this topic,
I’ve ever joined some bounty campaigns and get some tokens. Bellow are my thinking:
There are some projects attract so much participants, although that means the project is very interesting but it has limited bonus. Result, bonus that each participant receivers from the campaign very small. A lot of participants in one campaign has made so many spams on social networking….
So a question here: Should we limit members in one campaign?
(maybe depend on the bonus value of that campaign)
What are your thinking?
Please share…

Limitation would be depending on on the team itself if they would decide to limit participants into each bounty program. Its true that the more participants the lesser potential income you would able to make since participants are too many which it can be explained by basic calculations.Usually team doesnt make any limit specially on bounty programs because owners or teams would be glad to have lots of people to spread awareness as long they do only give fix percentage allocation they dont matter or mind on how many would join up.
993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: April 07, 2018, 04:22:59 PM
I sold my 6k ripple coins last night! Embarrassed

Lucky you!  Cheesy
Some HODL-fans still waiting - but unfortunately now price almost ten times less then you have sold.

Well if you're already down that much then it would be more logical to just wait everything out instead of losing a chance to recover along with the market. We have to understand that it's a process that has repeated several times in the past already and the market could go lower and the losses higher,  but recovery is almost certain as well.
Even we have seen many times on how recovery of the price happens but still people do always failed out to sustain or make themselves on holding state which they do decide up to cut losses while the market is still on bearish. If you cant hold then most likely you will lose money and when market turns green then you will surely regret specially when you didn't able to buyback while it was still cheap. If someone loses money then its normal that someone do make money as well.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS ETH GONNA REACH $200? on: April 06, 2018, 05:24:10 PM
As of january 2018, the eth price reaches its peak for about $1000, but it is very opposite as of now. The price of ethereum keeps dropping every week. Is it possible that ethereum will soon reach $200 for this market bloodbath?
Everything is possible into this very unpredictable market. If we do reach out new heights its still possible that we would go back to the prices when we are before. Going back down can happen anytime and as an investor you should really be ready into this kind of instances because if you don't ready yourself you will surely stress out and panic. If ETH would hit up that range then I guess its the best time to accumulate even more.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market Goes Down and Down on: April 05, 2018, 09:18:27 PM
I think the downtrend of cryptocurrencies is almost over. We had seen recently healthy market correction. Now it is time to calm down for a while and stabilise before the start of new long term uptrend
Previous observations indicate that after a period of fall follows a period of stability as long as the period of previous growth. It turns out that if the bearish trend is over now, then we will see a stable market until the middle of summer, after which a new bullish trend is possible.
We aren't still sure if the bearish trend is already over and we don't even know if this middle of summer we would able to see bullish trend just like on what happened on last year.No one really knows on what would happen ahead but talking into the thing where OP is trying to elaborate here which market goes down and down into a significant percentage which is really a normal thing into this very unpredictable and volatile market.
996  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN BACK AS THAT WAS on: April 05, 2018, 08:39:22 PM
It will go back to 19K and even surpass that price, the question is when?
For people who believe it will happen, let's just continue to hold, good things are coming ahead and soon we will get through this dump
and once again we will hear expressions like "to the moon".
"To the moon" "When Lambo" words would always be mentioned by most people into this crypto world and most of us are hoping for price to shoot up.We do all have the same target but the questions would still remain unanswered since no one can able to point out on when this thing would happen. For now we just simply hold of into our coins or even just on bitcoin and believe for future price upward movements.Anything is possible into this very volatile market the important thing on here is that we do know on when to exit when we are already profited.
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I bought ripple when it is $3 on: April 04, 2018, 06:47:46 PM
I am crying right now, because I realize that am the stupidest man alive, I bought ripple when it is $3 and now it is 0.50 I can't sell off right now because I will make the same mistake I made before. Is their anybody that made the mistake like me I need you to raise your hand up Tongue
For sure there are lots since this are common mistake of those new people specially into this crypto market.Experienced traders or investors wont probably do the same thing because they do know the price is being pumped up with just basing or seeing its entire cap you would able to say that $3 price on XRP is already considered as on HYPE side but yet there are lots of newbie traders and investors didn't see such thing, all they did is to buy into those pump state which would normally result into negative later on when profit taking do happen by previous trader who did get inside earlier.
998  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers? on: April 04, 2018, 06:21:51 PM
I think that the cryptocurrency market us unique, because many investors don't understand blockchain technology.  So they rely upon experts on YouTube, Twitter, and Telegram for information, analysis, and advice.  As a result, we have the phenomenon of crypto influencers.  Some are reputable, like Carter Thomas of Coin Mastery, but others are not.  What's your opinion on Crypto influencers?  Are they good for this market and the cryptocurrency movement?  Do you take advice from them?  And who's good to follow?
If you did just invest for the sake on making money without knowing further on all the things involve on crypto then it wont really be a good thing. Why? if you do rely only on influencers words towards on such recommendations then you wont even know that you are already being manipulated because anytime those people will really tell things which would possibly only be a fud or basing with his own view or intuition. We do know that this is really very a unpredictable market that's why I don't really make a fan on listening anytime with their words.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin Cash will take place of Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2018, 11:32:25 PM
Bitcoin price is going down day by day..
Is bitcoin cash have that much potential to overcome the bitcoin?
I don't think so, even with bitcoin cash pretending it is bitcoin and especially with the new people joining they may get some momentum from that but long term it will not become bitcoin no matter how hard they try, it's just another fork like many others.
I don't know why do still some people do believe that a forked coin would surpass to the coin on where it was forked. The original would stays original even though theres no permanent on the world but we can rest assured that surpassing it with its fork wont really be possible.People would still remain on the origin of cryptocurrency which is bitcoin.Prices as of now is starting to climb up and its still early to say about bitcoins price decrease day by day.
1000  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit Cycling on: April 03, 2018, 11:01:00 PM
I am a single poster and it was clear that I can not compete with merit exchanging groups or friends. And there will be probably also some kind of market for purchasing merits.

When the merit system was introduced, I was one stage prior to reaching Sr Member that requires an activity of 240. Now my activity is 280 and I am still Full Member and probably will forever.

I have seen a lot of shit and and spam posts on this forum without any consequences and as a honest single poster you have now to pay the price for not connected to inside teams!

I totally agree with you..as I was in exactly same position as you prior to merit introduction.
My proposal was to give initial merit proportionally to how close you're to next level (so for
example you and me would get about 240 instead 100) but I was bashed hard by people who,
suprise surprise, made account week or two before you and me and just ranked up got 250 merit

At this rate you and me are set back about 3 years
I have to admit I did not read how this merit system is working. But you have a point here that we were one step to Sr Member and getting 250 merits instead. Now we have the same position like someone who just reached Full Member.

I just see that you have the same Activity like me, even though you already received 16 merits. So how much merits do we need to rank up to Sr Member?

250, so in your case 150 more...at this rate you'll reach it in year 2036...and I'm not joking, I calculated it
At least in some signature campaigns you receive unlike more per week or post if you received 5 merits as Full Member. And in the signature campaign I currently participate the difference between Full Member and Sr Member is only 25%, while I have already seen differences of 50% in other signature campaigns.

We will see if there will be any adjustments in the foreseeable future. As soon as I get 2 merits more, I should be fine for signature campaigns. Smiley
One of the examples with those campaigns are handled by yahoo since hes the only one or the first campaign manager who do require merits when it comes on categorizing payment structure on each rank.It do have significant different tier for those who don't have merit and for those who have which is quiet fair to everybody but would really differ into their weekly payment which its normal for those who have merit would receive more than into those who haven't.This is why merit is being abused for sometime because of such requirement.
