1922  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you know how should be your topic title? on: March 06, 2019, 05:16:55 PM
Another important thing when you make your topic title - avoid clickbait. Many people using clickbait titles because they think that they will get more visitors to their thread in this way. Yes, clickbait helps, but it also have big big negative effect. If your title have nothing with content of post, most of readers just will close topic after reading OP without leaving their comments. Some people can even put you on ignore after reading such topic.
Agree with you. Title should be related with the content otherwise its completely true that reader will lose their interest on that topic. Content and title should maintain a smooth connectivity with each other where readers will feel it necessary to spend their time.
1923  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ★ Gambling vs Forex vs Crypto Trading ★ on: March 06, 2019, 05:04:11 PM
I would anyway pick Forex and Crypto trading because they are genuine ways of working. So, no to gambling. I work with FreshForex, who offer dual service, which include both Forex/Crypto trading and with great features too, so that makes me feel highly comfortable and relaxed working with them.
Yeah in forex there's been a latest trading system included for crypto currency also. Its a good sign that crypto currencies are competing with worldwide currencies. But forex crypto trading system isn't similar with exchange trading IMO. I think ratio of risks is relatively high there.
1924  Economy / Reputation / Re: Selling fake team members photo for ICO (Need DT attention) on: March 04, 2019, 08:00:33 AM
At least he shut it down? (for now)? Tongue
Yeah mate I think thats a little achievement for this thread Cheesy. If we can't stop these guys fraudlent activity in our forum then their activity will work as a encouragement for upcoming scammers IMO.
1925  Other / Meta / Re: @Theymos @Cyrus Please give me another chance ? [after 6 month] on: March 04, 2019, 05:21:30 AM
You got banned due to proper reason. I wanna ask you a simple question,  you confess here on this thread about your mistakes but have you ever care about forum rules before doing huge copy paste. Its just not a matter of copy paste man its similar to steal other peoples thinking and plan.

Honestly I don't wanna hurt you by my words but its true that every convicted person want mercy after commiting their disallowed activities.
1926  Economy / Reputation / Re: Selling fake team members photo for ICO (Need DT attention) on: March 03, 2019, 01:27:25 PM
Obviously what he is doing is wrong but what exactly do you think tagging this guy will achieve?
Tagging this guy isn't the only solution here. If we let him continue his photo selling business then i think its givning someone license to do fraudlent activities in the forum. It doesn't matter he tagged or not but its going to visible on others users eye that this kinda activities are not allowed here.

1927  Economy / Reputation / ★ Fake Team members photo supplier for ICO ★ on: March 03, 2019, 08:00:50 AM
Hello Everyone,

I found an user on our forum who is selling fake team members photo for ICO. Which is completely illegal in my opinion. Waiting to see others opinion.

Thread link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5116264.0

Archive link: http://archive.is/N2QeR

Profile link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2555843

Its really surprising that where we trying our best to detect fake ICO team members to stop scam but this user is selling fake team photo. Its nothing but encouraging ICO scammers to commit another scam IMO.

Where will he find those photographs? I think he will steal it from another peoples identity or from any hacked database. I hope DT members will put their attention on this case soon.

1928  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I increase my merits? on: March 03, 2019, 05:36:21 AM
Hey OP you just started your journey here on 20th january 2019 and being silly for merits too early. Without Spending time to get knowledges about this forum, specially how it works, which things are allowed or disallowed you just made your post on Meta. Don't you bother about forum rules, search option or knowledge actually.

Atleast you should read pin posts to learn about ranking  before submitting a thread by your own. But i see here you didn't follow that properly. So how could you expect merit?  Roll Eyes I am surprised after showing your post history where you have 33 post in total but from them you made 30 bounty post.
1929  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ★ Keep your role on Default Trust(DT) selection ★ on: March 03, 2019, 05:28:01 AM
Hello guys, the only reason behind my topic was to increase users role on our DT selection voting system. Personally I think DT selection is knocking at the door. I wish its your time to contribute on this selection system to choose the right person as a DT member for whole community. Still new DT list haven't been announced yet. You can update your trust list now for submiting your vote for the upcoming DT selection.
1930  Other / Beginners & Help / Do you know how should be your topic title? on: March 03, 2019, 05:10:45 AM
Hello Everyone,

Welcome guys to my thread. Today I am going to share an important guideline about thread title. Before today I wasn't careful enough about this matter. Personally I always try to read old topic during my leisure time to expand my own knowledge about this community. As a regular approach today I found something very useful for our community users & I think its gonna help newbies like us.

Although I know using full quote isn't a good practice but for better understanding I am going to use this here:
Moderators here typically don't require you to use good titles for topics, but I thought I'd post some guidelines for anyone wondering how best to write a title.

Include enough info in the title so that readers can mostly guess what your topic is about. Try to condense your topic's main idea into a few sentences. Ideally, people should be able to write useful, on-topic replies by just reading the title (though this sometimes isn't possible).

Terrible titles include:
- "A question"
- "I was wondering..."
- "Someone help me"
These titles are better, though still not great:
- "A question about Bitcoin-Qt"
- "Survey of the community"
- "I have a problem with the forum"
These titles are good:
- "Bitcoin-Qt takes too long to start. How can I speed it up?"
- "Poll: What is your gender?"
- "Whenever I try to send a PM, the forum gives me an error"

When asking a question, never use a title like "How to send BTC"; it makes the topic look like a guide on how to do something instead of a question about how to do it.

Some people like to put "tags" in the title within brackets. Like "[GLBSE] [ANNOUNCE] ASDF: Generic asset". I personally don't like this style. I prefer to include the tag info within the sentence, like "Announcing ASDF, a generic asset on GLBSE". When tags are really necessary, it may indicate that a new subforum should be created.

Use normal capitalization, not "newspaper capitalization". "Thread title style guide" instead of "Thread Title Style Guide". Capitalize the first letter of the title unless it a trademark like "eMachines".

Omit unimportant leading words. "Selling $100" instead of "I'm selling $100". Other than that, it's best to write a grammatically correct sentence if doing so does not make the title annoyingly long.

If the title is composed of only one sentence, don't include a period at the end. If it contains two or more sentences, put a period after each sentence, including the last. Questions must end with a question mark.

It is to notify all our newbies that this quote is the guideline of our forums admin @theymos. Where he explain the whole matter about writting a proper title for a thread. There some special things described beautifully such as terrible title, medium quality title, good title, subjects clarity, writting tags, use of capitilazation and avoiding unimportant words. Personally I got clear ideas from these about which are better to use or not as a title. I will try my best to follow those instruction in future.

In my opinion forum admin described about this by his own and hopefully if we follow carefully then it will obviously going to increase our threads quality.

1931  Other / Meta / Re: ★ Proposal for a warning message on Announcements(Altcoins) board ★ on: March 03, 2019, 04:20:05 AM
I already see altcoiners complaining about censorship and bias on Bitcointalk but I also support this idea.

A lot of alts and ICOs are mere cashgrabs and many newcomers are not aware of the vast altcoin ecosystem and its perils (eg. "I've heard X will become the next Bitcoin" without being aware that there are literally thousands of coins and tokens aiming at the throne) so I believe a heads up would be appropiate. Sure it won't prevent people from getting scammed and people love to ignore warnings, but as long as it leads to some people reflecting on the matter before pulling the trigger on that shiny new lottery ticket alt coin it's imho worth it.
Honestly ICO scam has been increased dramatically. As a investor I always follow bitcointalk Altcoin sections ANN thread to be sure before investmen. I think its same for the others too. There are many members who always trying to catch scam ICO projects and let everyone to know about it. But their efforts got no value if investors put their fund before exposing.

That's why if a warning message shows on this section then it may create a caution on investors mind before their final investment.

1932  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ★ [Misleading] DreamPot ICO fake partnership (Need DT Attention) ★ on: March 02, 2019, 07:25:34 PM
The red trust is not for "nothing", it is because we dont trust you and nobody should trust you. You are a bad liar and deceiver.

YOU STOLE the idea of someone else(maybe they are a scammer too but it is about you now, not them).  Why dont you make a post on their thread and call them a scammer?
Its really looking so strange when these kind of guys don't want to confess their own fault. Where he should mention them as a scammer on their thread but he is taking the side of those scammers. Doing or supporting scam is not difference from each other IMO.

1933  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ★ SCAM SOCIALPOLIS ICO FAKE TEAM ★ on: March 02, 2019, 07:18:05 PM
We are not sure about your accusation OP due to some reasons - see below. Maybe you can also remove the word scam from your subject/thread until you provide other evidence.
Thanks mate for your suggestion. Subject already been updated and deep investigation going on. I will try my best to update this thread soon if find strong evidence against them.
1934  Economy / Reputation / Re: 🔴🔴🔴SCAM🔴🔴🔴GAME-PROTECT.COM🔴🔴🔴SCAM🔴🔴🔴 on: March 02, 2019, 07:09:37 PM
You can move your thread to scam accusation section and that will be much helpful for users to take decision about this project.
1935  Other / Meta / Re: How forum members can help each other. on: March 01, 2019, 05:54:19 PM
Sharing everyones own knowledge based on their experience is a great way to help each others. Some can get his/her knowledge from our threads and some can gather it from our discussion too. A quality post can also help users to get the exact answer. A good discussion always discover creative ideas IMO.
1936  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ZERO profit is better than lose ! on: March 01, 2019, 05:44:59 PM
Its true that everyone wants to invest on profitable projects. But running after big bonus or earn bigger amount in a shortime isn't a wise choice. Basically you always have a chance to lose your fund if you try to be a millioniare in 1 week or month. I always prefer to make profits from a safety zone.

Scammers always offer "small invest big return" package. Where many newbie investors easily fall on their trap due to lack of experience.
1937  Other / Meta / Re: Role of Moderator. on: March 01, 2019, 05:32:45 PM
As a member of bitcointalk community I strongly beleive that moderators of this forum are playing their role to keep friendly atmosphere in all sections. Maybe some moderators are slighty inactive but it doesn't mean that they don't bother about these section. I hope in future we can expect more moderators activity in all section of this forum.

1938  Other / Meta / Re: My New Account got Banned with reason Spam and Plagiarism on: March 01, 2019, 10:33:50 AM
OP you have got enough information on your thread already where you can find your answer. There's always been s proper reason behind every ban on this forum. After knowing self guilty if you post thread then its really unacceptable. If you are strong enough to prove that you are clean then always you have a choice to open ban appeal thread.
1939  Other / Meta / Re: ★ Newbie selling multiple fake government issued passport & ID card ★ on: March 01, 2019, 10:24:22 AM
I wish our DT members will put their attention on this matter soon to stop this kind of activities on forum
No need: just report the posts, and he'll probably be nuked.
Thanks for giving your suggestion regarding this issue. Its really good to see that his account got nuked already. Personslly I think its completely illegal to sell fake government issued passport & ID card. This kinda activities can spoil the reputation of bitcointalk.
1940  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ★ [Misleading] DreamPot ICO fake partnership (Need DT Attention) ★ on: March 01, 2019, 10:06:50 AM
They deleted their first post on their ANN thread: - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5113145.0
and opened a self-moderated thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5115450.0
This is a sign of guilty and unprofessionalism from their part. They didn't answer the questions about the fake partnership and just did some changes on their website.
Yeah absolutely, I found every proper reason behind their trap of scam. Thanks for the deep investigation from your side mate. I think now its totally clear to everyone that its nothing but a complete scam project.
