1921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: December 19, 2016, 06:09:33 PM
So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?
I recommend to invest your funds on gambling sites bankroll, they proven give profits to the investors based on the amount and the sharing agreements in the first place. If you want to make fast profits, go to learn about trading which many of people do it and constantly making profits by everyday trading.

Nah, you better start your own business. You can begin with a small business and then continue with an online casino or even both. Investing in bankrolls can go wrong very fast, it's just like gambling: if a lucky guy or a hacker comes on the website, you're going to lose a big part/all of your invested amount.
Yes, keeping our bitcoin within our control must be the right way and I am believing only with bitcoin and not with any others business. Maybe I will start believing in to my own skills to have my own business but definitely I will not invest anywhere else just to grow my bitcoins. Instead of investing it would be better like donating our bitcoins to poor.
1922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government digital currency! on: December 19, 2016, 05:55:47 PM
It's happens.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/danish-central-bank-to-digitalize-national-currency

Quote
Denmark, a country where its population relies on cash less than most other European nations, is considering digitalizing its national currency. The central bank of Denmark is planning to issue its own Blockchain-based digital currency called e-krone as its reserve currency.

Denmark is the one of bitcoin countries friendly, which it's possible if they create own digital currency.

But there's the flaws for this implementation, it's can same as fiat, centralized, just in digital form.

Your thought?
I just wonder what would be the advantage of mixing blockchain technology with a centralized system.

I believe this must be a basic controversy as blockchain technology is being used in crypto-currencies just because of having a trustless system. A centralized system cannot be a trustless system so obviously it does not require to record transactions in blockchain. They can simply have a system similar to Paypal.
1923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen with Bitcoin as the blockchain increases in size over time? on: December 19, 2016, 05:23:52 PM
Mr. Satoshi had mentioned about "Reclaiming Disk Space" in his abstract itself. I am not sure about why it is not already happening as we do see everyday the size of blockchain is keeping on increasing.

Here is the abstract on bitcoin system : https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

In my understanding it has not been implemented yet as cost of storage does get decreased over time.
Quote
A block header with no transactions would be about 80 bytes. If we suppose blocks are generated every 10 minutes, 80 bytes * 6 * 24 * 365 = 4.2MB per year. With computer systems typically selling with 2GB of RAM as of 2008, and Moore's Law predicting current growth of 1.2GB per year, storage should not be a problem even if the block headers must be kept in memory
1924  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: December 18, 2016, 08:04:35 PM
Oh yeah for sure its possible ive seen a few altcoins these days hit over 5000% profit.
You never really know when then next one will boost.
It's kinda hard to choose and determine those alt coins that are going to give that percentage of profit. But you are right, it is possible if we are going to be that productive trader and each decision we made is going to be the wisest decision, in terms of selling of our alt coins and as well as the coins that we are buying.
Only if we are able to make right decisions then we can be productive with our trading and having very big capital amount like 1000 bitcoins will be possible. The accurate decision making skill will be possible only after having some experience. But traders before having those skill, they usually do plan up to stop trading.
1925  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What’s your hidden reason for becoming a trader? on: December 18, 2016, 07:52:20 PM
I think hidden reason is not a right sentences for trading, and I don't have hidden reason for becoming trader, all my reason is for money, and i think many trader or all trader have a same reason with me, trading to earn money, and spend the money for daily life
But I don't think all the traders will be similar to you. Because I have seen many traders are into trading just to recover their losses which had happened to them in many different ways like they had failed with their business and got many loans for their basic life's needs.

As long as becoming a trader without any hidden reason will be giving many moral support in psychological way yes you will be able to trade without any stress as you will be having very peaceful mindset.
1926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: December 18, 2016, 07:42:39 PM
The fluctuating prices sometimes make them regret but definitely NOT in long term basis. They just need to wait to have the best of their investments.
Almost every investment will be turning into best when we are giving them enough time to groom. And it is particularly true with respect to bitcoin investments. I have seen many stocks had changed as life turning best investment to some of the investors only when they were holding it for some longer periods. Obviously bitcoin will be having huge price levels in upcoming years due to its limited supply. Hence it will be a best investment over time.
1927  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: December 18, 2016, 07:36:09 PM
Trading for me is a profession which need an updatable ability, besides have good analyze, also need much learn. But what you will earn from it, is a great profit, when you are already be familiar with this, and trading is dignified profession.

I more often lose in trading, but i'm not disappointed, i'm just mad to myself, because my ability is still below average, so i need to learn, learn and learn more. Trading actually fun, it's makes encouraging my determination.
As long as you will not be getting disappointed, the chances to make trading as a profession remains at its highest levels. Some people are getting frustrated and quitting gambling in the beginning days itself after seeing some losses in those days.

Trading will not disappoint us if we are having enough skills but we cannot expect to have those skills in the beginning days itself.
1928  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: December 17, 2016, 08:51:19 PM
My prediction about bitcoin is to where it will become more progressive, it will be popular in the whole world. And my prediction about bitcoin this coming 2017 will be upon us soon enough, so it should come as no surprise that many bitcoin  experts are looking ahead to upcoming year. Given that bitcoin has built in features to encourage its price to rise over time and given the growing acceptance of both non-government currencies and digital currencies, there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic.
Yes the built-in features will attract a strong user base for bitcoin ecosystem that will lead to a very huge price levels.

As long as new people are getting into bitcoin ecosystem we can expect prices to keep on increase. At the same time if prices keep on increasing, definitely new people will be adopting it.

So a better future for bitcoin ecosystem is definite and obvious.

Yes exactly, it would be more popular and become the worlds famous cryptocurrency today. It has the brighter future and become bigger than the past years.

But some of my prediction is that anytime soon, bitcoin is going to die but its just my prediction. But i believe that bitcoin is a long life partner for us and it is not just an investment it is also a movement, a movement to the worldwide financial freedom.
I think your statement is a little contradictory as if you believe that bitcoin is our long live partner then how can I die soon, to me bitcoin is going to remain forever and hope that bitcoin will also become one of the most popular currency of the world and people will use it as fiat currency in their local markets.
1929  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: December 17, 2016, 08:33:19 PM
I still believe in fiat of course because I use it in daily transactions such as buying and selling goods or products. Fiat is the primary currency now and then. It will not be replaced by other projects because it is easy to use. Even there will be new payment methods now and in the future, fiat would still exist.
In fact fiat is still the need of the day, as the basic infrastructure of bitcoin are not available everywhere, and most of the people still do not know about bitcoin therefore they are using fiat primary and those people who know about bitcoin they are admitting the importance of bitcoin, they use bitcoin for most of their online activities as bitcoin is more convenient than fiat for online related things.
1930  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: December 17, 2016, 08:24:42 PM
There is not much online store accepting bitcoin as it payment in my country. Moreover offline store.
The service like hotels room is just in 2 place that accept bitcoin.
So, how I can spend bitcoin everyday.
Yes I think that is the problem most of the people are facing, but to me I think there are a number of online shops who provide delivery services and you can just order stuff form their store and they will deliver it to you at your home.

And for local shops you need to introduce bitcoin in your area, so that people may start using it and if the number of bitcoin users is increasing in your area then people will start thinking about bitcoin business and will start accepting bitcoin in for shopping in their shops.
1931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: December 17, 2016, 08:09:54 PM
There is a twist on how gambling site advertise Cheesy.  Gambling uses the word entertainment to lure people and think that it is some recreational activity.   The fact that there are 3 group of people going to a casino, recreational gambler, pathological gambler and problem gambler. This only means that gambling is not for entertainment alone, but also for those who want to win a profit by playing on that casino.
Very nice and I think in these three groups majority of people are playing gambling for making money, a little number of people may be using gambling for entertainment purpose, as it is my personal experience that the majority of people I know play gambling only for making money, I myself play gambling to earn more and more money.

Hi BoXXoB,

What will be the rule for disqualification ?

I checked OP, no mentioned about it.

Only a rules for NOT getting payments.
I made some 10 posts for 2nd round and I will not be expecting payment for that. But removing from camp seems too harsh imho.

I like to suggest you to follow Yahoo's rule of disqualification :
Failing to meet payout for TWO continuous weeks makes a participant disqualified.

As my PC was crashed out, I was unable to complete 30 posts. I believe I will be all ready for next round.

Requesting you to consider. Thanks.
1933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: December 11, 2016, 09:29:05 PM
honestly there's a lot of ways to stay away from being seduced by gambling . first start from decreasing your daily bet when you're playing gambling. ive been addicted also on gambling now im trying to stay away from it as soon as possible because its wasting my bitcoin i dont know whats on gambling but when im playing it ilike to win a bigger prize pool thats why im betting with a huge amount. and playing in a long run always led me on losing.
That's because we cannot abruptly quit in gambling, we have to do it slowly but consistently. Reducing your bets is like reducing your crave in gambling and you hope that time will come you will definitely lose interest, you need guidance on that and by doing that it's better if you have someone that inspires you like your family in particular.
There are a lot of examples in our daily life, people try to stop gambling but they only succeeded for few days or months and start it again, therefore I think it will be a good decision to fixed a limit for gambling and try not to exceed that limit. Only this way you can reduce the risk you losing a big amount of money.
1934  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money do you have left from your job? on: December 11, 2016, 08:26:43 PM
I earn very little on my main work. So I am constantly looking for additional sources of income. I am ready to work hard to save up for a start-up capital for investment
Yes, I also have a low income, but still I will like to say that I am still happy in my job as I have controlled expenses so I can manage and fulfill my need in such a low salary, but still I am also looking for some good job so that I can also save some money for my future, as I am not a government  servant therefore I am not expecting pension from government so I need to manage and save money for my future.
1935  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: December 11, 2016, 07:49:48 PM
if I may be honest I always spend all my salary to buy a certain item I like, yeah I'm very hard to control my desire to buy something, there is the suggestion that I was not too extravagant?
In the past this habit was just a wasting of my money for me and I preferred to save and invest in the future but now I realized that spending our money on our life is also beneficial and worthful to spend it on our family members as no one know about the future that will it be with us or not.
I wonder who is the salary enough to fully meet his family all necessary. It's fantastic. Although in different countries, different capabilities.

I haven't done that before to buy the things that I want, because that is a total waste of time and you won't be able to save some of it. The best thing to do is you need to think about the certain things that you need not the wants because if you will prioritize it then for sure you will be able to meet your expected savings when you are going to forget about your wants.
Some time you can ignore your wishes specially when you have limited amount and cannot afford to buy all the things you need, but when have a decent income then it will be too difficult to control your self from buying things you wish even the unnecessary things.

So you need a good strategy to control yourself from purchasing such unnecessary things that you do not really need and can save some money for your better future and for your decedents.
1936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with lost bitcoins on: December 11, 2016, 01:35:11 PM
I don't like the idea. As Andreas antonopoulos put it, the blockchain (the bitcoin blockchain that is) is a "monument to perpetuity" or something like that. Whatever happens cannot be changed. I would not like the idea of money moving without my consent only because it's not moved for x years.
What if in the future cryotechnology works and Hal is revived after like 500 years and he finds out all of his money is in the hands of random people?
Actually if something cannot happen doesn't quite mean that its a bad or worst idea. If you see that bitcoins are lost everyday and every minute and if that continues a time will come when most of the coins would be lost.

But still I think that while its good to recover lost coins but the amount lost is not too significant and if lost coins would be recovered so easily how would they learn ?
1937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: December 10, 2016, 08:37:35 PM
the transaction of bitcoin is very fast compare to other currency this is a transaction you can carry out at your own convenient using your mobile phone but if off late the transaction is not fast as it use to be before now i think they will have to do something about it.
If you compare Bitcoin to other currencies, Bitcoin is definitely the fastest currencies because it is created digitally and used on the Internet. However, Bitcoin is not always fast like you think. Sometimes, unusually, when man does not charge the sending fee, transaction can be forever unconfirmed.
Yes comparing all the features then yes its fastest else paypal you can do with one click transactions but the reversible nature, plus verification and moreover the anonymity is lost since whatever transactions you will do paypal knows and will reflect on your transactions While with bitcoins you are secure and anonymous though recently transactions have been a bit slow comparing to old times.
1938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of Banning Bitcoin ? on: December 10, 2016, 08:25:03 PM
As the mass media will publish this piece of news everywhere around the world, because people are easily manipulated by them, the effects aren't going to be good for sure. The mainstream media will give Bitcoin a bad look if this happens, so people will stay away from us. There are billions of people who do not know about this method of staying anonymous, to stay free from the governments and just be on your own.
Honestly I feel this is pretty impossible to ban bitcoins because bitcoins cannot be traced so suppose any country bans bitcoins how would they know that someone is using bitcoins because its quite impossible to trace any transaction.

Moreover banning would mean actually that government does not support bitcoins, which right now also most countries do not.
1939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: University Business School ESMT Berlin Now Accepting Bitcoin on: December 09, 2016, 09:03:14 PM
The more places that accept bitcoin the better. Specially when some place formal like this accepting bitcoin means it is going mainstream and as long as they do this it will get more known and get widely accepted. Business school students already must be familiar with bitcoins still this will boost bitcoin adoptions for sure.
1940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: December 09, 2016, 08:55:29 PM
How could “no one” spend bitcoin. The point of bitcoin is to spend it like any other currency or commodity people have . Worst case scenario , we do not spend gold anymore but gold has value , and it always goes up . So it would be like gold where bitcoin has worth but not spend daily.
