This is so surprising if I must say, UTD got a 4-1 win over a Chelsea side that's not in form and is like a big deal. The way football fans talk about it is just funny to me, not that UTD are even consistent when it comes to goal scoring and winning of games. I mean when was the last time Manchester United scored four goals in the EPL this season and everybody is making a big deal out of it with the victory over Chelsea, is really laughable.
They [Manchester United] did well no doubt but the game against Chelsea yesterday was like they are playing against a division 2 team. Chelsea is really having serious issues that even the fans don't know about, the blues have everything it takes to win that game but they are lacking one thing which is that winning mentality, they don't have it at all, I said something about Frank Lampard and his tactics and have come to realize that he's not the problem, the major problem is the team they lack that winning mentality.
And some players ain't suppose to start to begin with, why not try Forfana instead of Kai havertz. He [Kai havertz] is very low and doesn't contribute much up front and that guy Madueke is just killing every runs they make. Well, like they say, the manager knows best.
1924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 26, 2023, 01:50:30 AM
It is assumed that Chelsea performed badly cause they had lost to Man United by 4 goals. Their defense was obviously poor and that’s why Man United was able to score the amount of goals they did. Chelsea goalie, was up and doing and tried in keeping a lot of balls out of the back of his net.
Also, Chelsea did manage to get some attacks in but were majorly unsuccessful as most of their attempts were either foiled by De Gea or were not on target. Surprisingly, Chelsea had more of the ball in their possession but failed to make good use of that possession.
I was skeptical of Man United having a win over Chelsea but United came through and bagged the three points. Great win for Manchester United.

Chelsea did very poorly to be frank with you, I mean how could you be in control of the game in the first half of the game even if you're with 2goals down but could not get at least one ball at the back of the net? Frank Lampard could have kept on the pressure on the defense of UNITED but he left Madueke long enough on the pitch to continue slowing the game, what happened to Felix who could distribute the ball more better? and what about bringing in Ziyech sooner?

The tactics of the Chelsea Manager is really affecting the Blues some how. United played very well when they applied more pressure on the weakest Chelsea defense I have ever seen, with Forfana on the mix is just embarrassing, the Chelsea defense have no leader, Forfana cost Chelsea 2 goals, a penalty and a crazy blunder by handing the ball to the opponent, he deserves to be on the bench till the start of a new campaign.
1925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you give one reason why I should buy bitcoin? on: May 26, 2023, 01:06:42 AM
I want better ideas and  enlightenment on why I should buy bitcoin.I need help please!

If I should say "yes, buy Bitcoin and invest" is like I'm interfering on how you use you money, is best to seek out the best informative advise about Bitcoin at this period, then is left for you to decide if you'd like to buy it not.
Well, a panel of 32 financial technology and cryptocurrency specialists has projected that the price of Bitcoin would grow during 2023 and to me I just feel that this is the best moment to buy Bitcoin as the case may be and they [the specialists] are peaking at $42,225 before finally ending of the year at $35,459, according to the results of a poll carried out by the investment platform Finder and shared with Finbold on April 19.

Some of these informations could help you decide if you'd want to or not, nobody can tell you on how to spend you money but the information you get could help you decide if you'd like to spend/invest your money on Bitcoin or not.
1926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any point to start trading with 20$? on: May 26, 2023, 12:16:55 AM
Hello everyone,

I’ve lately been trying alot of different ways to start making money but something in me tells me trading could be really fun and exciting to get into. Unfortunately I can’t afford to invest much right now so I’ve managed to invest around 20$ to get started. I’d really appreciate if you all could let me know if what i am doing is worth it or am I just wasting time?

Kind regards,
Human

If $20 is all you have gathered to start with and would still like to use all then is fine to start with whatsoever money you have with you, after all you won't rob a bank to start with a huge sum of money. To me, if it's trading that suits you and gives you that goosebumps then go for it, I believe that what ever you put your mind in doing, with much determination you can get to your goal.
But if I'd advise, I'll let you know that there's no trading that doesn't have there ups and downs, profit alone shouldn't be in your mind, just prepare for the worst and pray for the best. Get advise from those who are there before you (experts), it will also help in the future.
1927  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Set your mind on your goals and nothing else on: May 25, 2023, 11:38:33 AM
I spent five years away from friends and family, because whenever I bring up how crypto can be life-changing they always discourage me, maybe because I lost some money to few trades and I was not that good at trading at the time, I got mad one day and I left the city and move to another city, because they won't let me be and they felt I will waste my life away.

Today, I now own a home and a nice ride, I was able to get married and settle down, but now they feel like they made a huge mistake for not listening to me. I believe this was the best decision I've ever made, I was able to gathered some BTC in 2019  to 2020 bear market and also with the help of my trading skills.

Only God knows what would have happened if I never left, my mind kept telling me to venture into crypto at the time and even my own family shut the idea down.

I don't know why and now they are asking for my help, I have to do it since they are my family, and even my friends are asking for help, would you help your discouraging friends if you are in my shoe? They were my friends, but not anymore, I believe friends should be supportive of each other, am I wrong.

If you are a crypto newbie, make sure you set your mind on your goals, do not be discouraged by anyone, people can't see the future, we are not gods or demigods who can read the future, do not listen to any naysayers.

Life has a way of giving you the negative impression just to see how you can get to your goal, is all about determination to get to where you feel is best for you.
If you hadn't followed your mind by ditching all those negative things said by your friends and family you won't have gotten to where you are now. I love your courage, you already knew what you wanted even when you lost alot of cash and you never let it stop you, that's standing tall above all odds.

Where you said your family and friends are asking for help is normal, is up to you to render the help to them and it would be a win win for both sides, teach them about Bitcoin if possible drag them into this forum, it will grow their knowledge as well.

With what I saw in the Brighton team I just concluded that Brighton played better football than Arsenal against Manchester City, they [Brighton] didn't let the players of City intimate them, it even made them [Brighton] to play their best. Brighton's performance was outstanding, they made City to be restless and even making mistakes. Next season would be tough for the current champions of the EPL   and Brighton will be a team to watch, never forget the Newcastle team too.
1930  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be patient, don't get discouraged. on: May 25, 2023, 01:43:24 AM
Honestly speaking, when you lose patience, frustration comes in play and negative things will hijack your attention by then you have already lose focus on getting to your goal. Whenever you're getting to that point of being discouraged is best to keep a record of how far you have gone and by so doing it will keep you focus and motivated to continue pushing forward no matter how much you being discouraged.
Patience is simply not about waiting, it's waiting with purpose.
1931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching children Bitcoin is not in vain on: May 25, 2023, 01:24:42 AM
Actually children when they have to focus on formal education because at the age of 10 they cannot analyze Bitcoin and this will be difficult for them to understand, in my opinion there are other things that we better teach them to live, maybe if financial problems can be taught at that time so that later they can manage their expenses when they are teenagers, But if you have high intelligence, maybe we can teach the basics of Bitcoin because later when he is a teenager he can immediately do his own research, and surely he will be interested in having it.

At some point I just feel teaching Bitcoin to children with age 10 can be complicated because the child can mix up things when it comes to how Bitcoin operate, I don't know but making it come to the child's standard can be a bit hard that's for 10. I'd prefer to operate with the child under the age 14-16 above, they can handle the operation of Bitcoin without mixing things up. Since we're in a digital would I feel a 14yr old child can dig in the internet and get interesting information on how to go about it even more better than what he/she had been taught.
1932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 24, 2023, 03:01:37 AM
Bayern Munich have indeed lost ot position to FC bourdmod in this season since it have become clear that the club could not meet the point demands to remain as the top club this season haven't retained the title for many years and such as what is happening in real Madrid in the la Liga

Dortmund have been very impressive this season at least they didn't disappoint their fans in this campaign, I feel happy for the Dortmund team and they just had to do the right thing by lifting the trophy since it has been awhile. I love the energy they came with this season by letting Bayern Munich know that there'd be a new Champion. The Bayern side are not really in their best of mood, I feel in their next game it would be showers of goals but it won't make them top the table because Dortmund would win the next game and be crowded Champions.
And seeing Bayern Munich as Real Madrid who are not competing for the title is a different thing, the Spanish side are over confidence and that cost them so pride comes before the fall, that's what I saw happened to Madrid not Bayern Munich.
1933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 24, 2023, 02:35:24 AM
Vinicius Junior's red card has been reversed. The red card he got against Valencia, so that means he would be available for their next match against Vallecano.
For me I think that's a clear red card, because you can't react like that on the pitch, but the Valencia player should also be red carded for trying to choke Vini from Behind.

In other news, after several calling from different footballs fans all over the globe, La Liga have decided to do something about the racial abuse suffered by Vinicius against Valencia.
At first the foolish La Liga president was trying to do damage control instead of going after the culprit, but now they seem to be doing something, even if I feel the punishments are not strict enough.

Valencia's stadium will be closed and they will have to play without fans for the next five games. Left to me they should receive point reduction too.
And seven people have been arrested by the Spanish police for being involved in the racism against Vini.

I really do not understand this. Juventus is facing a 25 points reduction in the whole season for some things that a lot of people don't even understand. But when it comes to some social contract that everyone understands and there is literally hate crime being done to a certain racial group it is only a penalty of playing without fans for 5 matches! Like really?

I can guarantee that if 20 points are taken away from them right now the fans will never even dare to say something like that in a stadium. And seven people have been arrested. 7?? The whole stadium was shouting racial slurs,,  Roll Eyes.

I still find it hard to believe that they only have to ban the fans without any serious penalty )toe that's a joke), this isn't the first time Vinicius Jr has been abused. I can't tell if the la LIGA FA would take this very seriously compare to Juventus issue.
And now they're giving the public the impression that they're doing something serious about the matter by arresting just 7 fans, come on, they can do better than that.
I just feel this issue won't go any further than it has already, to be sincere with you, I'd say let Vinicius Jr leave la LIGA, that place is not healthy for him and his career.
1934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Father Rejects Son's Gambling Win on: May 24, 2023, 02:20:26 AM
A boy won #38,000,000 ($82340.19) with just #400 ($0.87) and when the boy brought home his win, the biological father of the boy rejected the money because it was gotten from gambling. So that makes me to think how people look or see or think of gambling. Is gambling a bad thing to do? As for me gambling is not a bad something but the individual can be bad and also the way you present yourself in the society can also tell people about your personality.

How do you see the father? Was he right by rejecting the son gambling win?

Sometimes we parents don't really know when to act against some decisions our children make, the father might be the religious type (let's say he's the religious type) and when it comes to gambling and Christianity is like you're fighting against the devil him self. We take Christianity too serious but we're not really following what is written in the Bible.
As a father (if I'm the father) I can't cast my child away because he's a gambler, I'd rather use that medium to change his mindset about gambling (that's if I despise gambling), use that money to invest on any lucrative business that would keep him off of gambling rather than sending him and the money away. Mehn, that money is a life changing opportunity.
I just see the father as a man who doesn't know how God works and how blessings in disguise come knocking on your door and he made a very big mistake that he'd regret for rejecting both the money and the child (the child especially).
1935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 24, 2023, 02:01:40 AM
The upcoming match is a nightmare because it has to be against Manchester City, which is a team with quite high strength, and of course Brighton will find it difficult to win in this match. It seems impossible to win against Manchester City, but if luck is on Brighton's side, then there will be a chance to win.

Manchester City are really not going to make tonight's fixture a big deal, they're already Champions and it won't change anything at the moment, to me this game is not about City but about Brighton. They'd like to prove a point by trying to stand up tall against City that they can't get past them just like that, like they did with Chelsea. I feel Brighton might get all 3pt from City since they [Brighton] smashed Arsenal 0-3, their morale has grown to the level that they don't get intimated by the CHAMPIONS talking about the CITIZENS.
I still believe Brighton can shock City in tonight's game, because Pep is not going to risk any key players, he's going to let his machines have a rest.

1937  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is money ruling the world? on: May 23, 2023, 01:56:35 AM
Money is a powerful tool that can be used to influence and control many aspect of the society. It can be used in political way, control the media and shape public opinion. In addition, many people believe that money equals power and those with more money have more power over the others, like the rich over the poor, we know is kind of intimating.
It's really important to know that money is not the only thing that influences the world, other factors such as social movements, political ideologies and cultural values they all can put the society in shape and the world at large.
There are many things in life that are just as important as money and we should take note that money doesn't necessarily bring happiness or fulfillment.
1938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching children Bitcoin is not in vain on: May 23, 2023, 12:21:11 AM
I find it ridiculous that many people applaud and support teaching bitcoin to 4- and 5-year-olds. I suspect those people don't have children and don't know how to raise them. How can a child who can't read and write know how to use bitcoin? Will there be any positive impact, or is it just wasting our time?

The teaching of Bitcoin to 4-5yrs is really a waste of time, is like talking to someone whom you know can't respond to what you'd understand or talking to a dump person and expect him or she to say something you'd understand. No knowledge is a waste but I Don't support the teaching of Bitcoin to that age bracket (4-5yrs) because their brain can not comprehend any of such you say to them.

*What else is required for such a person to control,is it still his or her emotions or what next?

When you attach your emotions to trading it affects your decision making, sometimes it can be helpful but bringing emotion into trading is a bad idea. Every trader is different in their own ways, to keep emotion in check can be difficult, formulate your trading strategy based on your needs and market knowledge.
1940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too late to start? on: May 22, 2023, 02:52:23 AM
Hi!

I have heard about Bitcoin back in 2017 but never got to learn regarding about it. I always thought that crypto was a fluke and that it would definitely not be a type of transaction until pandemic happens. So, as the title would suggest, is it too late to start investing on crypto? And if not, what would be the essentials to learn on working on it?

Thanks in advance!

This is the best place to get all the help you could think of concerning trading. Is it never too late to start, life is short so I'd advise you start now but before you start, the information to get started is important because getting to know more on what you want to do would help you plan properly, like they say in my country "someone who ask for directions doesn't get missing".
No time is ever too late to invest on Cryptocurrency since Bitcoin price has surged in the last years and increasing tenfold in value, I believe it can be in your favor if you start right away.
Another challenge in crypto investment is to decide on which cryptocurrency to choose.
