941  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: October 26, 2023, 09:27:15 PM
Prediction can not be someone's only guess. An expert predicts something based on facts and events that are happening right now and that are upcoming in the future. Most of the time it becomes true that everyone was expecting Blackrocks ETF approval to have a heavy impact on the market and the market can rally based on that. But any unexpected change of events can prove your prediction totally wrong.

If we always use past events to say something is going to happen and we conclude that is going to come to pass in the nearest future and it doesn't, don't you think that is just a mistake to always rely on historical events?
Is suppose to be said that it might happen, that's to let those who are reading it to know is not 100% certain. But some of these guys dropping predictions will make it look like is not going to fail, and some traders do fall for these predictions, it also make them lose more money then they can imagine, because of false predictions.

The Manchester derby is going to be a game that will come with a big shocker, I believe Manchester United will come out stronger in that encounter, a win in the champions league will make them play with all they've got just to be the top dog of this derby.
Manchester City have been dominating more in this derby but this season they don't look that active Manchester City they used to be as of last season and even 3-4 seasons ago, goals hardly comes with the style of play which is not that strong as we know them to be.
I think their (Man City) style of play is being countered by some of the opponents they played against and if United add more pressure and play as a unit without being greedy when it comes to goal scoring, I believe they can get a win against Manchester City.

Brighton are still not getting it right at the moment despite the half time winning against a struggling Ajax team, I just hope Roberto De Zerbi will come out into the second half with a different strategy, because if they (Brighton) get a win it will keep their hope alive in the group stage.
More goals are needed in this encounter and I can't see Ajax coming back to equalize or even scoring more than a goal, is just so disappointing to see the away team struggling in all competitions. I feel Brighton would take advantage of the opportunity they have at hand to boost their morale in getting ready for their next fixture in the EPL game this Sunday against Fulham.

Being a member of this Forum, what are the things that you can say YOU have done for the growth of this Forum aside from posting (which is normal) or fishing out scammers/hackers.
I'd like to know because we do have members that have the title (if I should call it a title) PROMINENT dancing by their name, and I just wonder.
What have they done to own that title?
There are two type of members in this forum, the members who just make post not minding if they make any sense or not and then the forum members who are very careful and intentional with every post they make. Many prominent and high ranking members of the forum are know for their quality contributions, so they are not just posters. By regularly contributing meaningfully to this forum, we contribute to the growth of the forum

These set of members that make post without minding if the post is making any sense or not are the types we have more in the Forum than the ones who take their time to make a quality posts.
They don't care about what goes on in the Forum all they know is make post and go off, they can't be seen showing much dedication to the growth of this Forum and that's where I believe some members don't want to be in (the less concerned members). With the other members who give us something to learn from, I'd say they should continue because the newbies have so much to learn from.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 25, 2023, 05:52:46 AM
It has been 22 years since PSG and AC Milan clashed in the Champions League. Group F deserves to be the group of death of this year's Champions League when everything is happening beautifully and unpredictably. After 2 matches, Newcastle is leading with 4 points. PSG had an embarrassing 1-4 loss on the field of the team that just returned to the most prestigious arena on the continent, Newcastle. In terms of performance, AC Milan is currently better with a series of impressive matches, while PSG only won 3/5 games. This is not an easy match, but PSG can win 3 points at home. I predict the result of this match: the home team wins 2-1.

22yrs is a long very long period of time for these two clubs to see face to face in one of the greatest competition of all time. PSG has never been in great shape when talking about champions league competition, they never had a better memory of getting very close to lifting the trophy but they seem to be one of the best in the Ligue 1 and going head to head with a promising Ac Milan that's always hungry to get a win in every fixture is going to be another difficult game for PSG.
Losing (PSG) to Newcastle 1-4 is really going to make them do their best to at least cover for their loss, that's if they can pressure the visitors from the beginning of the game to the end, just like they did against Strasbourg. I expect Luis Enrique Martínez Garcia to play more of the attack and more of the defense because the AC Milan team loves operating from the wings better to get a cross to the big man Olivier Jonathan Giroud, we know how dangerous he is with area balls, so I just feel without that being done by PSG we might be counting another champions league defeat for the home side.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 24, 2023, 06:59:35 AM
This season is just full of unexpected surprises especially with the champions, is like Manchester City are losing that pace of making other premier league clubs to be scared of them, this season is different compared to last season where we have them coming out strong, playing as if football is only meant for them alone, dominating a game from the first half to the end.
I can seem to find that force in them anymore no matter how good they play this season, I think they're gradually losing that strong force in the EPL.
The goals ain't coming like before and the big man Haaland is just not consistent in his scoring form since that's the only way he contribute to Manchester City. Is really going to be a thing to worry about, is like without a particular player or getting the ball to him without him struggling for it he can't get on the score sheet, that's why I feel City are really going down, who knows by next season we won't be seeing them as that dominant force of EPL that teams would be scared of playing.
948  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has anybody expected this? on: October 24, 2023, 05:05:01 AM
Not that I'm a charting expert or a good technical or fundamental analyst let alone a bear, but I'm really surprised at the spike that's happened, and which is probably continuously happening as of this writing. So far, the price has already hit above $34,000. That's already more than 12% in growth in just 24 hours.

Has anybody somehow expected this kind of thing? Has anybody had at least a tiny clue that something like this would happen? I know Uptobers have been good months, but every huge increase especially a sudden one must have a big reason. I'm not seeing one that could push such growth so fast. I was really caught by surprise. Will a Bitcoin spot ETF be certainly approved soon that insiders have already relayed to their bosses the good news and the accumulation has secretly grown stronger?

To me nobody had any clue that this was going to happen, like is always going to be a surprise for both investors and traders, seeing Bitcoin price at $29k in the night and the next morning boom it has bumped to $30k the next morning up to $34k, like what's happening? Is only October that has a better explanation to this, and we should expect BTC to continue increasing it's pace to $40k-49$k, because that's the next price.
I said it that October is a very promising month and we should look out for it, those who talk more about next year that that's when we'll see a better and bumpy price, well here it is, the price can't stop getting better at the moment I also said it HERE we should expect it getting to $35k-$39k before we exit October.
949  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin current range: $25K to $32K on: October 23, 2023, 09:24:24 PM
There is no such thing as certainty - the trend could change at any time, but let me tell you that the price movement over the past year has been quite positive. Price volatility will always be present - but the price increase over the last 1 year has been very good. Of course we haven't broken the $32K resistance over the last year, but getting a 60% gain is great.

The price over the past has been positive but you can't compare what happened to this year's movement there must be a change and I believe this year's movement is better than that of last year October.
The price is $31k and nobody have ever said it will get to $31k in this October so with how we're seeing what the market price is feeding us I believe it will surpass $32k. I just can't get it but I still have that feeling of seeing the price getting up to $35-39k before the end of October. Is surprising and I've been asking what's happening that the price is seriously going up?
950  Other / Meta / Re: Trust Flags!!! on: October 23, 2023, 01:36:16 PM

OP, here is another joke, I tag you then you can contact me to solve our issues, you see? Either way I have the advantage if I'm on DT.

Holy Christ, @digaran are you serious about that ?
Tagging me is going to be a hell of a ride, I know you won't hear me when I start complaining oh please I don't want that , let's not get into that chapter.

Sometimes seeing these guys with red tags I begin to ask if they really care about their account or the offense being committed. First I saw it (Red Tag) always on 1xbit members and I thought I've seen it all but after sometime I started seeing much of it.
I always see those 1xbit members as Bitcointalk villains (sorry for using that word but that's how I see them), is like they're not bothered about how things goes with them and even on the Forum. Why are people so less concern about things that goes on around them?
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 23, 2023, 10:33:03 AM
After watching the Man UTD game I saw a different Maguire on the pitch, the one that's not in a hurry to make a mistake. I know he has made so many errors which led to him being stripped off the captain hand ban, that's cool on him and he knows that. The two games Man UTD played and won was on him playing well, making sure he builds up his confidence.
To me at this point Harry Maguire is more proactive, he reads the game better than before and he knows when to make a push to force the ball the opposition half, and is working for him.
Nobody would say Harry Maguire isn't getting his confidence back to support his team mates, at least now he's not under much pressure and playing against the champions (this weekend) I feel he'll do his best to make Manchester United get something out of that encounter, I can't say UTD would win (we know is a derby), all I'm trying to say is Maguire would do much better in that fixture.
952  Other / Meta / Re: Trust Flags!!! on: October 23, 2023, 10:19:51 AM
I don't know if some of this tags are deserving to those having it, is like some give the tags base on personal issues and when these victims try to defend themselves is like is not worth trying but accept it that your account isn't going to be the way it was, which is bad.
I just wish when someone appeal and even asked the user that tagged them to consider them, it should be looked into immediately, and if all the tags can't be removed it should be reduced and have something positive to say about the tagged person, I know some deserve it but to me some are ready to make amends.

Talking in general doesn't have much sense, mostly all of us are supporting good and not supporting bad. So in general the majority will always say that we are against tags based on a personal attitude. But it sometimes can happen anyway. If you are upset with some exact case then better to highlight it directly, showing why are you disappointed with it and why do you think that a tag is inappropriate. If others will agree with you, the situation has chance to change. But talking in general words will hardly change anything.

No Mr J don't get me wrong on this, what I'm trying to say is that some of these tags are sometimes not suppose to be, it might happen to be a case of misunderstanding and it happens you get? Things like that can happen.
Nobody in his right sense would see something that's bad and applaud it, is wrong and I can never be in support of anything that's going against the rules and regulations of this Forum and say is good, I can't see myself doing that.
And if a person is making a change of behavior can't he be pardoned and give him or her a second chance?
Well I think that's up to whosoever dropped the tag and I can't come against the system on this issue and being disappointed, nah I'm not.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stop gambling (sports betting, casino e.t.c)? on: October 23, 2023, 09:06:17 AM
I doubt that you can stop gambling when you are addicted since it’s very hard to notice the symptoms due to the addictive nature of gambling. The only way for a compulsive gambler to stop is if someone help him to change or he doesn’t have any money to gamble.

If someone is going to help change the gambler is a plan that's very hard, unless the person acting as the helper will devote 85% of his or her time for the addict, because is like a kid that you monitor 24/7 so he (gambler) can't go offline.
And we know how difficult it will be because you as the helper can't have that comfortable time for yourself. Keeping an eye on the gambler has to be under strict rules, no messing around or having pity for him or her. So I can't say is going to be very easy to accomplish.

955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin current range: $25K to $32K on: October 23, 2023, 08:01:39 AM
Bitcoin price is really getting to a height where we don't need to talk about it going down or say it's just for the time being before it starts going down, at $30,600k I believe it has this pressure of bumping more than the current price. I think the market is on the healthiest side as we head into the closing part of this month of October.
For me the range at this point should be from $35-$40k+ before the end of this year and we shouldn't be surprised if we see BTC price getting to $40k before end of October. The greens we're seeing should let us know that sooner than later it might get to $60k.

Op asked yourself while or the reason the bitcointalk.org is  created, the reason bitcointalk is been created is discuss and interact about bitcoin, so I know quite well that the impact a forum user can bring in the forum is to be innovative and ensure that it has not engaged in any act of illegality, so when you have not engaged in such act of illegality such as scam and spam in their forum you have contributed meaningful through your innovation.

We have a lot of users who choose to stay that way, I mean by keeping things the way they are by not spamming or engage in scamming people but I'll ask you, do you think that's enough? To me is fine but I feel is kind of normal because we have many members who only choose to come online drop quality post and then they're off and you think that's enough contribution to the forum?

Quote
So in forum everyone do things at its detriment, because its what you choose to do, so therefore I believe whatever you are doing in the forum is your personal assistance for the development and coordination of forum to keep moving forward for future.

At some point haven't you thought about doing something that's different from all what you have been doing on the Forum? I know everyone have to do things according to how the Forum is but haven't thought of a way to see yourself well known by what you have done like DdmrDdmr (he's among the best), for doing something bigger than coming and getting your job done (posting) and you're off again.
Well you have your way of doing things on the Forum.
957  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Stake.com on: October 22, 2023, 07:58:34 AM
Stake, a scam?
OP I don't think so, maybe you're having some issues that you need to complete concerning your withdrawal. And we sometimes forget the all these casino or should I say gambling sites are being run by humans like us too and we the users have to encounter some challenges, it takes time to solve some these issues. Is not whenever we have a little problem about withdrawal and all that we just tag them as scammers.
There's this gambling site in my country, it too my brother almost a week to get his fund back, like your case of withdrawal it took long, so to me I'd say provide the needful and wait rather than concluding that they're scammers or they've scammered you, be patient OP something must be done to help get your funds
958  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much money can you make by investing in Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2023, 06:58:09 AM
Bitcoin is one of the most popular and in-demand coins in the cryptocurrency market. Many are investing on this Bitcoin and even many are investing. When Bitcoin was created, the price of this coin was very low and gradually as time passed, the demand and price of this coin increased. I wish that I invest bitcoins but unfortunately I don't have any bitcoins and don't know how to acquire it. Is investing in Bitcoin easy or complicated? Is it possible to achieve success by investing in Bitcoin? The main thing is how one can earn if he invests in Bitcoin and if he stays for a long time.

No time is too late to start investing in Bitcoin that's if you know your way about trading and all that, you never made it back then doesn't mean you can't start now, but make sure you have the experience or you're ready to learn from others.
I don't think you need to be a hard working laborer, making use of your muscles before people will know investing in Bitcoin is easy, to me it's easy and you don't need to stress yourself but the main problem is can you be patient enough? Because where it seems to be hard is when you allow desperation take over mind, and your decisions can't flow with the way an investor suppose to be, you make unnecessary errors just because you want to make it quick.
You can achieve success in Bitcoin only if you have the right source to guide you through, that's why you ask questions about some certain things you have no idea about just to stay on the right track, but where you feel you can do it alone without seeking for help from experienced people thats when you fail to achieve success.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 22, 2023, 12:15:12 AM
For the first time since the beginning of this campaign I saw Manchester United played a wonderful football, no misunderstanding, they all played as a team like they should have been doing, I don't really know what ETH did since they all got back from international break, what ever he did let him continue.
The way and manner Man UTD played was too flexible, at some point I was wondering how the players get to switch positions on and on and back to their normal position. It's so impressive to me.
If they continue with this style of play I believe before the end of this month Manchester United will be competing for the top 4, if not for the title. I just hope this isn't a temporary form because this is going to help the team in a long while. Also seeing Maguire doing his best in today's game I believe he has gotten that shine back. What a lovely win for UNITED.
this is not new with this Manchester united team so am really surprised to why you saying this, although united have been really down this fee weeks back but for me it's not a new thing anymore because these guys can actually flip and then played good football and then the next week they begin to flop, so I really don't fully understand their playing form because if you trust them ,thats when you will find out that you were wrong in doing so.

Never have I trusted these guys in any way, is just that they played out something different and you would agree with me that the way they played is different from their last two games, let's forget the fact that they won their last game and they played a struggling Sheffield UTD.
But all I'm saying is that they played a good football and this has nothing to do with trust because they can decide to mess up in their next game but let's appreciate their improvement.
960  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Mr. Bitcoin is about to go down big." - Jim Cramer on: October 21, 2023, 11:59:21 PM
This is another form of prediction that some may fall for, and I can't still tell why many people fall for these bloggers or YouTubers, they can't see the future of Bitcoin price and it hurts to see how those who invest use their crazy predictions and lose instead of gaining.
I think is time to just let the words these guys are saying slide by without taking it to heart.
The annoying part is that these guys knows how to make their words get into many that views their videos and when it fails you won't hear anything concerning why they gave a false predictions.
