Anyway, can someone enlighten me about this. So they are delaying the grand final to 6 more days after they did the same to the quarterfinals to semifinals phase huh. I dont see whats the point in it though, crowds are hype and why would you want to let it cool down when TI is already over so that literally means extra pair of eyes are going to focus on Worlds

https://i.imgur.com/3QWPu7C.png
They delay the matches in playoffs mostly to build hype. Some like it, some don't, but I understand why Riot does it, i mean, it's a whole week for build up around the most important LoL matches of the year, everyone talking about it and trying to predict what's gonna happen in a few days, it's fun  Grin plus, players need some rest after some really intense games, so...

Yeah I know it was to build up hype but they did that already on quarterfinals to semifinals and Valve did that with TI as well so I thought it was pretty normal until I saw Riot did it again after the semifinals which is pretty weird. I would have understand if TI is in progression along Worlds but yeah I'll guess I'll leave it at that though

DRX v Gen.G could be a quick 3-0 for Gen.G, game 1 was a bit of a stomp, tbh. Now DRX are off to terrible start in game 2 after giving up first blood.
*EDIT game 2 went to DRX and they're in a commanding position in game 3, they're popping off right now!

Not really following LoL anymore so between DRX and T1, which is the favourite to actually win the finals though?

It's a fucking nightmare of a time we're living in right now, and I think we're all pretty on edge about a lot of things. Take a deep breath and be grateful for bitcoin at least.

Isnt it always a bad time to live? I cant recall a single time that people were not having any economic situation throughout the history. I mean there's like always something that is bad with the world and yeah Im grateful that I know bitcoin pretty early but the average joe that probably struggling alot right now especially with those silly houses prices

The best LOL game I've seen lately and it's a shame that JDG didn't advance to the next stage.

Well in fact isnt it just better if T1 win this and gets to the grand final so Faker will have a shot on his 4th worlds. I totally would love him to win another one for sure and probably retire after this

1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 30, 2022, 08:29:02 PM
Of course it's not easy to beat Arsenal when playing at home especially the opponent is Nottingham we can guess 3 points for Arsenal
Of course anything can happen in the Premier League but this time we are talking about Arsenal, they are the most consistent team at the moment
So it's very difficult to prevent them from getting 3 points.

Yet most people thought that Arsenal should be wary about Nottingham because they won against Liverpool lol. Nottingham is still the same team that stays at the bottom of the league and Arsenal is way better to lose against them. Its actually insane to think that Arsenal will lose against a team like when they are currently in the top of their form

Meanwhile, Ronaldo proven himself that he is not needed in the team  Roll Eyes. Rashford is the man that United needs right now
1945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 30, 2022, 06:41:15 PM
Anyway, Congratulations to Tundra for winning The International 2022. Now they proved to those bashers that they do not choke always, sometimes, they win TI too.

Its more of that Team Secret didnt know what to do with all those 3 games. They simply want to get to top 2 and that was it, if it was Team Liquid instead then Liquid would have given way better entertainment for us. Imagine watching the grand finale for TI11 that looks like a tier 1 team against tier 2 team. Most are hoping for atleast 4 games but it was only 3 games so thats pretty sucks
1946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 29, 2022, 10:01:05 PM
Not betting on this but going to watch this, its in 5hours isnt it
Late reply but yep. It's live. Over 450k viewers right now and it's just game 1

Over 500k on twitch and over 230k on youtube. Thats probably not including restream by streamers or some sort. Heck yeah, JDG took the 1st map with swift. 5 minutes earlier, T1 was already pushing them then somehow things got overturned. If anything I'd love to watch Faker win another Worlds then retire, guess Im rooting for T1 to take the next one
1947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 29, 2022, 08:38:56 PM
It's really surprising to Chelsea lose to Brighton; it was a disgraceful display from the Chelsea's side. They were totally outplayed by Brighton. In my opinion, I don't think Grahams Potter can do the job at Chelsea. Apparently, the club is too big for him. The club actually deserves better. With this kind of display, it is obvious Chelsea might end up without trophy this season and likely fall off top four.

Potter was good when he handled Brighton though and he was given the job to handle Chelsea because of his previous reputation. He is not the guy that build his reputation over just a month or something and besides that, Chelsea is in deep mess even before he came so it was kinda expected to happen. The real struggle starts after the next transfer, if he can gets the player that he wants to fill in some position then we'll see how he does thing afterward

Meanwhile Liverpool lost to Leeds. This is their first loss in Anfield after so many games that they've won in home
1948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 29, 2022, 07:46:41 PM
I personally don't have any idea about the background of Tundra until today. I was on lost after betting on secret but I'm amaze how patient and strong Tundra is.

Where have you been though, Tundra has been impressive after they kicked out their last captain and so far they have been playing better than any other teams out there except that they have the tendency to choke on the finals so yeah. Either way, Im hoping for full 7 games on the final though for the sake of entertainment purposes

Heck yeah getting better odds on Liquid lol. I guess alot are favoring Secret to win huh

1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 29, 2022, 03:40:11 PM
I am going with over 2.5 maps on Secret - Liquid tomorrow for sure and then waiting for the final and lines for that one.

Odds are pretty close in Rollbit on whatever options that we are going for but yeah over 2.5 maps should be the most possible outcome for this. I'll still take Liquid to win though aside from the over 2.5 maps. Probably going for Tundra to win in the Grand finale if Secret somehow gets to the next stage but going to pick Liquid to win TI for sure if they get pass this lower bracket final

JDG v T1, LPL summer champions v LCK summer champions, you literally couldn't ask for a better semifinals, looks scripted tbh, bloody Riot lol

Not betting on this but going to watch this, its in 5hours isnt it
1950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | FPL Football Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: October 28, 2022, 10:53:56 PM
Is still all a probability for me, so I'm not fully sure yet, but Haaland is likely staying put.
I'm gonna keep an eye on the bookmakers. Surely some uk whales will have some info about Haaland prior to the game and the starting XI so they'll throw some money in some markets (total goals or ML) and we'll know whether he plays from the start or not

Just wondering this, when is the last minute that we are allowed to change our draft for the week? is it until the first match of the week start? I havent had any time to look at my draft but gosh with Haaland looking potentially to not start for the week means I have to tweak abit for my draft. I guess KDB will be holding the captain armband for the week, this guy always delivers the best possible result for City
1951  Economy / Economics / Re: House is a forced saving on: October 28, 2022, 10:02:27 PM
House prices are not soaring, it is exactly the opposite. Interest rates are high , less people can afford a loan because it is expensive now. So less people buy houses , less demand = lower price.

Yeah most people seems to be confusing the difference between the actual price for houses and the interest rates including the price of the houses. Either way, throwing away huge amount of cash to buy a house / property to avoid all these interest is still a no go though. I'd still rather take on these interest over years instead of paying lump sum amount

I often see those folks that are financially free to purchase their houses in cash so that the banks won't have the interest from paying that for so many years.

Only if you are rich enough to throw in lump sum, otherwise it wont happen. The actual price for houses is actually high enough for most people to afford and not alot would be able to afford to purchase it in cash
1952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 28, 2022, 09:06:45 PM
I think otherwise actually. Leicester are having a difficult season

I think they are having the worst possible season that they can even think off but hey they won 3 games out of the last 5 games so thats something to pull them out of these whole mess. Totally not enough to get them back to top 5 atleast its something to start with. I wouldnt be surprised if they somehow ended up on bottom three at the end of the season considering how bad they are right now
1953  Economy / Economics / Re: Why exactly did Elon want to buy Twitter? on: October 28, 2022, 07:41:55 PM
It seems that the purchase had a political background, yes. People who have those levels of money are no longer driven by money so much as by power:

Elon Musk ‘fires Twitter executive’ who banned Trump as speculation mounts he could return to platform

In addition, it is quite likely that Trump will run for president again in 2024. So it all adds up.

Still doesnt add up on why he buy twitter though. Donald Trump is a name / individual that will keep on existing even if he is banned on Twitter. Besides that, even if Trump runs for another president, he doesnt really need twitter to help him win the election. Most of the Americans are not really happy with how Biden runs things around so good chances he might got it back if he runs for it even without being on twitter
1954  Economy / Economics / Re: cryptocurrency and the UK's new prime minister on: October 27, 2022, 08:51:06 PM
For now UK seems more interested in the ways to tax crypto industry: [2022-10-26] UK Votes in Favor of Recognizing Crypto as Regulated Financial Instruments

Its about time though. I'd pretty much love if all the other countries would follow this step by recoqnizing cryptocurrency in a way or another then tax it rather than banning it or completely label it as some sort of illegal stuff. Although taxes in some countries could be horrible but atleast its a good start for now because things could get better eventually

I don't have expectations from that new PM. Plus, let's see if he's still there after 44 days, you know...

He has alot of good reputations on his back so I dont think that he would tarnish his name or atleast wont do anything stupid to begin with. He would last long enough but probably wont be making anything major out of his reign
1955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 27, 2022, 07:39:43 PM
Arsenal fans are underestimating Nottingham Forest just because of their position on table, since they are in relegation level so they are being underestimate which I will advice Arsenal to play against Nottingham Forest just like the way they are playing against other strong teams, nobody believe Nottingham Forest will win their last match against Liverpool

You cant be serious to compare Arsenal and Liverpool against Nottingham Forest. Arsenal has been pretty impressive so far and Liverpool is not in their best form, anything would have happened with Liverpool but its a complete different story against Arsenal. Its a home game for Arsenal and a high chance of taking 3 points so they are not going to mess this up
1956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 27, 2022, 05:58:39 PM

Here Tundra is a slight favorite at 1.81 to Team Secret's 1.87 which makes sense after the former made a 2-0 victory over the latter. But this is a whole different level though, both teams are capable of winning and they are both with great momentum.

So Rollbit was offering the best possible line huh, I thought it would be some sort of error or whatsoever then it might get cancelled. Imagine getting the same exact odds for both sides as well as over 2.5 maps and most people would go for either sides to win so its actually pretty decent. I honestly never got anything close to this ever before.

I also took a bet on underdog Liquid to avenge their 0-2 defeat from Aster in the first round of the upper bracket.

Well honestly I wouldnt think of Liquid being an underdog even more at this stage. My top 2 teams for the TI is Secret and Liquid so I would love if both of them ended up in grandfinals so that we'll have another two times TI champion. That is going to be pretty exciting
1957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 25, 2022, 09:35:36 PM
Somnus has a lot of achievement even though he didn't won a TI. He is still one of the greatest midlaner in Dota2 history.

Means nothing if he doesnt win any TI. His name will go down in history if he win TI and will be left forgotten like few years after he retire if he doesnt, thats pretty much how it is with the community

3 more days to go before the TI start again and its abit too early but Im digging Tundra to win against Secret. Odds are exactly 1.85 for both sides and its 1.85 for over 2.5 maps as well in Rollbit, not sure on another sites though

1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 25, 2022, 08:09:18 PM
I don't expect Manchester City to underestimate Dortmund even if they are safe at the moment

Safe huh, its actually pretty easy to spot wether Pep consider that his team is safe or not by looking at his starting lineup. If he still puts Haaland as a starter that means he hasnt consider that his team is safe at the moment but either way, Haaland is currently switched out on 2nd half so that means he is simply looking at a draw for the most unfavourable outcome for the game
1959  Economy / Economics / Re: What Does Rishi Sunak Win Mean for Investors in Britian? on: October 25, 2022, 07:10:52 PM
If you have been following up with the news, do you really think that Mr Sunak has what it take to take Britain to it days of glory?

He was the only 'leftover' for the potential PM so there is actually no other potential candidate to replace Lizz but he was Chancellor of the Exchequer before appointed to become PM so thats a good step to begin with. There wont be immediate changes after he is put in charge but I kinda look forward onto this because this guy has a whole lot of good reputation on his back so he probably wont mess this one up as well
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | FPL Football Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: October 24, 2022, 10:36:43 PM

No need to check 5 weeks ahead at this moment. We have only 3 game weeks before World cup and free transfers so those 3 GWs are all that we need to plan for. I know my team will get a big overhaul during World Cup.
-snip

Oh wait, World Cup yeah I kinda forgot about this. I cant actually believe that we are almost at the end of 2022, it feels like I was still in March or something around that lol. So its about time for us to put that free hit chip in a good use after the World Cup ended. If Im not limited to only 1 free transfer for the week, I guess I could be building the optimal team for the last 3 weeks.
