I will go with the Heat on this series. One question though, are the Heat healthy? I thought that Lowry is injured?
Anyhow, even if Lowry is injured or not, I will still bet on the Heat, in terms of experience, they already have it, the core of 2020 against the Lakers is still intact, plus they have a deeper bench than the Heat. As for the Sixers, they were extended by the Raptors and almost on the brink of elimination if they have lost the last game. So they are not built mentally, they have Joel Embid, but if you look at the series against the Raptors, if Joel is sitting and taking a rest, the team doesn't have a offense, and James Harden is inconsistent. As compare to the Heat wherein they have options like Bulter, Bam or even Herro and Robinson to shoot from outside.
You have a point there mate, the Heat has a deeper bench than the Sixers and the inconsistency of James Harden almost cost them the series against the Raptors, they are having a hard time producing points when Joel is on the bench, so I think the Heat have an edge on this series unless a major injury would happen to Heat stars. |

He can't be an import in the PBA because he is a Filipino so he can play as a local if he wants to. Yup, there's a hype on Kai Sotto that is why he decided to enter the draft but it remains to be seen if he can be drafted as the drafting process in the NBA is very much different from the PBA, I mean in the NBA they really look for talent that will fit for there team. I have seen players who have a profile same as Kai but don't prosper in the NBA so I think he will just end up the same. But I also hope that destiny would be good to Kai and he became the first pure-blooded Filipino to be drafted into the NBA so good luck to him. |

In a bet right now I think I would go for VALDEZ, I would appeal to Valdez to manage his times more, resist and make him enter his field so that he can dominate, for me that is what will happen.
Either by KO or by Decision, the odds for backing Valdez are too tempting while betting for Shakur is not attractive at all, especially the ML. The fight will be on the weekend already and below are some options/markets on how to bet for the fight and I guess many will go for Oscar with the figures shown below. Many analysts have said that Shakur is just too quick for Oscar but I think the latter could catch him in the middle rounds when Shakur is already tired and that might be the time Oscar will do damage to Shakur.  |

In that series against the Nets, I underestimated the Celtics too much thinking that Jason Tatum might falter again just like last season but I'm wrong. The Celtics showed their fans that they could play good defense too as it is the defense that could bring them to the Finals.
Without Middleton on the wings, the Bucks will be having a hard time producing points as the Celtics will try to limit the offense of Giannis, hard to do but they were able to do that against KD so I think it would be the Celtics to get the W in this series.

1. Sixers - kahit may kakambal na malas itong si Harden at Doc Rivers, sa kanila pa rin ako, medyo nakukulangan pa rin sa roster ng Raptors ngayon, sa second round na siguro e-epekto yong mga kamalasan ni coach Doc hehe.
2. Phoenix Suns - noong game 5, si Chris Paul yong bumuhat ng Suns para sa panalo kaya gagawin ulit niya ito ngayon.

Per my favorite bookies, not yet but definitely this will be covered. Honestly, I don't trust Magsayo completely in this fight as I was a bit disappointed with the way he fight in his previous fight although he won. I don't know this Vargas but if Magsayo will not improve his style, I think he will experience his first defeat.
Same here. Magsayo got a lot of help from luck for me because if Russell was not injured the outcome could be different on that night but Magsayo might have reviewed the tape and for sure they will adjust on what's need to be done against this taller and dangerous Rey Vargas. |

The thing with Vargas, he has defended his WBC super bantamweight belt five times before deciding to move up in weight to face Magsayo which could make him the favorite to win this fight in the bookies IMO. No odds yet for this fight but i think Rey Vargas will be the favorite so this could be exciting for Filipino fight fans.

According to Daily Tribune PH sports columnist Ian Suyu, as per Meralco Bolts' Head Coach Norman Black, the team will conduct an exit interview with its players starting today, April 25, 2022. For who are those players, we don't know. One thing is for sure, they want to revamp their roster next conference.
For me, they are already good and seeing their roster, they have one of the best rosters in the league especially if it's an All-Filipino Cup. They don't need a revamped but just utilized their players and give others more minutes. Since there will be no import next season, it might be easy for Coach Norman to test some rotation.

This is my first to hear such news regarding exit interviews on a basketball team. I thought exit interviews will be done only to those who have already tendered their resignation, this is weird for me. IMO, Meralco Bolts is not a championship team in the PBA, they are just lucky to be in the Finals because of their very talented import same with NLEX, the priority of their company is TNT but if they are serious in this one then it's good and I think it will start with the coaching staff. Agree that they are already good, it's just that some of the players lack exposure and the playing time. I wonder why Mac Belo has not been playing heavy minutes considering that this guy is very talented. So yeah, the coaching staff should start experimenting with the locals next conference and see what works for them. |

Maybe Shakur is very confident that he will destroy Oscar Valdez, after all he is the betting favorite if I'm not mistaken.
But yeah, there are boxers who doesn't talk that much but would rather to the work inside the ring. So this is still very close fight as both fighter are still in their prime. This is going to be another compelling fight for boxing fans.
Shakur is still the favorite in this match, he is just too fast for Oscar Valdez, that's what the bookies are thinking and some boxing analysts as well. But we know that a single punch can slow down a fast Shakur so this one is an exciting fight as both are still in their prime and a powerful punch could turn the fight around so Shakur will have his guard up until the final bell rings if he wants to win this one. People are motivated by defeat, not victory. When a boxer wins too often, he gets the feeling that he is invincible. It seems to him that he is stronger than any of his opponents. However, this is a false feeling. On the contrary, after winning the ring, you need to train even harder. However, Shakur Stevenson gives the impression of a confident person. And that's bad... At the same time, Oscar Valdes is learning from his mistakes. Oscar understands that he needs to train hard to win this fight. He's had bad luck in the past (I mean his bad fight with Conceicao) and now he wants to win. I think we are in for a very interesting and exciting boxing match. You've got a point there mate, however, i do think that both fighters are too motivated to win this historic match as only a few boxers have unified the four prestigious belts though Shakur seems to underestimate Oscar sometimes but that is a part of selling off this fight. Oscar has a lot of bad fights (fights where the outcome doesn't meet expectations) but that is all part of the game, all boxers knew that and forget about it as this upcoming fight is a different one. Yeah, we are in a very interesting fight as rarely in boxing that we have a hard time predicting on who's gonna win and this is one of them though i lean a little bit towards Oscar because of him being a heavy puncher. |

And If Donaire wanted to win against Inoue, he'd rather develop his body weakness as this is the most possible target otherwise, he losses again.
He must find a hole for Inoue in order to take him down as he is firm and strong that he can really take a hard punch at their first meet. For this rematch, he must have to be more aggressive as this is the only way Inoue can make preparation for the next move.
They don't have a long age gap that is why I don't weigh this as a factor as experience is really an advantage when it comes to boxing sports.
The age gap is 10 years and in boxing, it is already considered a wide margin plus the fact that Nonito Donaire is 39 years old, this is to his disadvantage as reflexes as a boxer reduce as an individual aged, of course with an exemption to a few boxers who really excel even though they are 40 years old but to most this is a disadvantage. Inoue has learned a lot from their first fight so I think he will be very careful in the rematch so as to not fall prey to Donaire's lethal left hook. Donaire's chance here is a lucky punch that Inoue won't see though very slim but still a possible scenario. |

Is there a rumor about the possibility of Christian Standhardinger being shipped to another team or does he have some misunderstandings with some other guys out there in their locker room? Is that what you meant, mate? Although not much productivity in the recent Finals, his presence inside the paint is effective to cover the absence of Japeth Aguilar in both offense and defense. But yes, he might want again to be one of the main options of a team and not just doing a backup role where he hasn't used to be. Yup, that is what I meant. There are even talks that he will be shipped to Magnolia in exchange for Calvin Abueva and also there was a rumor that he will play in Japan but that is not possible now as he was offered a contract extension which he already accepted. Though not too productive in offense but his defense on Tony Bishop was extraordinary for me as the latter's offense mainly came from outside jumpers, rarely in the paint as CStand was always there ready to bang bodies with him. |
