Thanks for letting me stay in the Proof of Interest Campaign. I really appreciate it. I have one question though: Do I still need to have a minimum of 500 XMG to receive interest, or will it be based on my previous balance from the other address?  Will be based on your previous balance from the other address.  Thanks! That is really nice. I guess that I would be able to recoup my losses after all. And one thing that I have learned so far is to always make more than one copy of the wallet.dat file to prevent what have happened to me before. Now I have made sure to backup the new wallet in a safe place and the same is distributed among different storage mediums including the cloud protected in an encrypted file container (TrueCrypt)  Thats good Abilky. Everybody will have some bad luck sometimes and as you know Magi team and community is here to build something awesome and is very happy with the members. Goal of Magi team is slow growing to a huge community with our awesome and unique currency. That goal needs time, patience and investments. Investments not only in the coin but also in the people! That what makes our awesome community were it is now and will make it grow further. |

Can someone explain me how Staking works ? im mining magicoin on sushpool (with 2cpu) so not realy big... but it works have 200khs  Im kind off new in Altcoins so it would be nice if someone can explain me what staking is thanks in advance! http://blog.cryptsy.com/They have reopened withdrawals of coin magi. Might be a good idea to withdraw as soon as you can, I don't think they plan on trading anymore. Thanks for the info! You can withdraw your XMG from Cryptsy now! Hurry and grab the coins you still have there! |

Today is the sadest day for me since I had a registered Magi address for the Proof of Interest Campaign (which was: 9CEZrQB5oMcG6TfAr74rCT5Fg1sh9UvsR5) but lost all of my coins. I had a backup of the appdata directory which contained the wallet.dat file for the address mentioned above, however when I move those files to my newly restored (installed) PC in the default appdata directory and open the Magi client, it erased the original wallet that I had and it started everything anew. Now it gave me another XMG address but I am afraid that the one that I had originally has been lost. The client has started fresh and made new wallet.dat, erasing the one that I had restored in the first place.  Is there anything that could be done? hey, mabey you can try unerased programs,you never know Think Redrover might be good is those things! |

converting other coins from user balances into btc is mass stealing and over all it will hurt all customers as a whole as exchanged price will be 20-1000% lower than market price because of huge quantity sold(dumped), I haven't checked but some altcoins don't have second exchange, so they worth exactly zero...
My coins are still altcoins and if not, hmmmm, i think it will not make any difference anymore  Thats why its very good Magi is on 4 different exchanges (and Cryptsy). This year a lot of altcoins will die but not Magi. If we (Magi team and awesome community keep on working together Magi will go up further and further. BTW Magi team is looking for somebody who knows the Chinese markets and speeks the language. Best thing is somebody from our own community or somebody who likes Magi. If you are that person contact the team or post something here so Magi can contact you!!! |

There's a new exchange, https://safecex.com. They will add a "request coin" page in a few days. The former operated of yaamp mining pool is involved, for those who know him. The intention is to run an exchange from miners for miners with some additional coins that were only listed on Cryptsy. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1325370.0Thanks Tittiecoiner i just sent him a pm. Hope to recieve respons. He's getting bombed from coins' communities with listing requests. I think it's the best option to wait until they created their page for coin listings and let the community help (voting, Twitter or whatelse they ask for). Thanks for the tip. really sad news for all those cryptsy users, i hope that you guys WD everything and don't have big loss with it, as i said in other post, decentralized exchanges are really needed Magi will have more volume now on POLO maybe? Thats right Okae. I still hope Cryptsy might recover. In the mean time maybe Magi should also look into other big exchanges. |

Think a judge can do that. If the divorce in this case means both receive half than the judge can freeze all assets to prevent fraude. |

So as always, if you want to know anything its better to ask a company and not any mail or strange website.
Does anyone still believe in Cryptsy? No way, I guess. So if there's should be any mail from cryptsy, they should explain why they don't execute the withdrawals for more than 3 months already. And how they will solve this "problem" within a acceptable time period. Until that info, please don't believe any other message from cryptsy. And especially don't believe mails which are good for them, for instance stopping all withdrawals. I do. And for what i hear its a divorce problem, a judge froze Cryptsy and then you have a big problem. Divorce? The wife would like the have Half? Divorces are always bad! |
