Did you send the item to his address listed on his eBay and PayPal and was it verified? Sadly it seems with PayPal anyone can say they didn't authorise the payment whether they did or not and get away with it.

Nah, his PayPal account was non-us verified.

He had 5 feedback on his eBay account. I thought having a tracking number could save me from this however it seems like he used a fake address. There was another seller that also got charge backed scammed from the same buyer.

When the claim is for an unauthorized purchase your saving grace is 'Seller protection'  if the address is indicated as 'confirmed' by Paypal then you have permission by them to mail to that address even if it is "fake".   Now depending on the amount of the item you need delivery confirmation and or signature confirmation.

But like everyone else has told you, try not to deal with Paypal, that is the smartest advice.

I searched up the address on Google this time (not google map) and it showed a business with the buyer's last name. I'm just hoping that "Registered Post International" has signature on delivery included.

What would be the best form of payment to accept on eBay?

Hey guys, I recently got chargeback scammed on PayPal and the funds have been put on hold. I've sent information about the shipping and other information however I don't think that's enough. Could you guys provide any tips? Thanks.

THat's exactly why I don't use Paypal ! .
Anyway , your only chance and thing to do now is to contact Paypal (do not email them, call them for fast help) and explain the situation for them and that you sent the tracking number .

Yea I know, I've been told not to wait to the last minute etc. but I think this is just really really bad timing. It's a holiday today, tomorrow and in a few more days.

Don't use paypal if you can afford not to, everyone's been warned about this on here hundreds of times.

Yea I know there have been warnings, but is there a way to win these cases, or is PayPal just going to let the buyer protection rule over everything.

SKT T1 skins are not rare and come out every year Tongue they're worth 975 RP ($10) each not $30...
Championship Thresh was released again for 975 RP ($10) bad luck man.
Arcade Hecarim is still in the store, and I don't think they'll remove it. It also costs 975 RP ($10)...

What server is this account on?

1952  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why can't I sink anymore. on: December 23, 2014, 10:59:16 AM
Duh, it's because subconsciously you're afraid of drowning so your body reacts to that, it's like when you have something come towards your face and you think it might hit you automatically shield yourself, same thing, our brain pretty much develops defense mechanisms against that sort of thing as we get older.

Yea but why does our body do that. Why don't we have control of it.
1953  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why can't I sink anymore. on: December 23, 2014, 10:14:38 AM
Doesn't anyone else find it strange that as a child without the skills of swimming you immediately sink in a pool, but when you're an adult who knows how to swim, it's impossible to sink even if you try.

That's because you've become aware of how water works and have learned, as a child you know fuck all about water so you don't know how to handle it and panic, that said, there are adults in life that don't really know how to swim still or haven't really been able. Pretty much because they weren't really taught properly, it happens all the time, for instance I have major gaps in my knowledge because of my shitty education but I have slowly been filling them again.

Yea, but the fact that I can't even sink if I tried really mind fucks me.

1955  Economy / Goods / Re: Need help where to post my $200k = right now ~500 BTC finders fee on: December 23, 2014, 12:04:01 AM
Does the payment have to be in bitcoins?

Has the actual house been built or is it only a design?
1956  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Raspberry Pi B+ on: December 22, 2014, 11:07:29 PM
To run a bitcoin node all you have to do is install bitcoin on it and then run through terminal

Code:
bitcoind -server -daemon

You can then just pull out the HDMI cable as  you won't be needing the view anymore.

The bitcoin blockchain is quite big so you might need a 64GB+ Sd card.

There's this webcam one. I think you might need to pay to use it.

I can't be bothered reading through all the replies, and I've been on this thread before but have you tried James Edition?

It's like BitPremier but for Fiat Currencies.

There are hundreds of Real Estate agents who list properties worth of to 1Bil Euros.

They also sell luxury cars, Yachts and other things people lower class people can't afford.

1960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Ownership of BritCoin up for auction on: December 22, 2014, 12:05:46 PM
You can sell the ownership of open source products? What.

Couldn't anyone just make a hardfork and attempt to bring as many people over as possible without the need of an auction?
