1941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used in space? on: May 17, 2017, 03:43:32 PM
Just curious, since the Internet is mostly an Earthly thing... would astronauts be able to access and transfer their Bitcoins whilst traveling throughout the solar system?
Depending on how far they would travel because internet can only be access if they are just near on the satelites of earth which can transmit signal but talking about they are already on far planets of the solar system which signal cant already reached then they cant use internet at all which means they dont have access to bitcoin. If they are just on moon then maybe -" who knows" theres no astronaut in here  Grin
1942  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: May 17, 2017, 02:54:33 PM
It wont become a legal currency because bitcoin cant really replace fiat anytime soon no matter what because government wont really let this thing to happen knowing that bitcoin cant be controlled and cant be taxed which means they cant able to manipulate it if people or its citizens will use it.It maybe a good alternative but not the mainstream. We do really like to use it to purchase offline but on sad reality we cant really change it.

But for that to happen in reality, I think VSL needs to get listed on some popular major exchanges like Poloniex and Bittrex, because they hold almost 50% of the altcoin market share and getting over there would give much more exposure and volume as well as value to the tokens. Let's try to get it over these giants in the world of altcoins, and help it get valued higher.

I suppose this is the main target of Vslice team/dev/owner as of now on which this coin would be listed on major exchanges but if its not still possible then going through mid-tier would do as long the exposure would really be started. Once this coin would be listed the its expected already that value would be somehow decent.

Do we really need any more reasons for VSL tokens to get added to Bittrex? I have seen many fake coins as well as useless coins being listed there just by seeing some great volume for them over other exchanges, then why don't they add VSL which is a part of something real, something very new and useful as well as a modern technology which is working over with Ethereum Smart contracts to give a chance to us to gamble with an emerging altcoin when Bitcoins are valued so high.
But I'm not finding any differences between bittex and yobit as both are listing many scamcoins. Instead of looking for adding VSL into bittex, I like to suggest to take efforts to list in some other reputed exchanges like kraken or poloniex.

But already VSL is being traded in four exchanges which is very much enough for covering more than 80% of crypto people as an average crypto user manages accounts at least in 10 exchanges.

I think we no need to worry much which exchange is listed or not. Because soon or later they will come to know the potential of the coin and they will add in into their exchanges. These reputed sites not listing only good coins but some shit coins as well.
This do really normally happens on which we do really like for it to be listed because we do know its potential compared to those coins who are being listed already there which dont really have potential or benefit at all but well its their decision but you are right we wont really need to worry if its listed or not because sooner or later they will surely see that VSL do really have a bright future,.

We are users, and if we won't worry then whom? I don't think such behavior would let this succeed because if we are into it, we should see each and every aspects of its improvements as a coin on one side, and as a tradable asset on the other. For every coin to succeed, its users need to "expose" its potential in front of other users who may be potential customers of future.
You do really have the point and yes for us users of it we should really strive to spread the awareness of this coin regarding to its potential and its usage and it does really contribute on coins career path or development path.
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is OneCoin really a scam? on: May 17, 2017, 01:22:51 PM
Is OneCoin really a scam?
If its based on MLM scheme then its a sure scam and yet its not still being listed or considered as crypto at all.Just like what i saw on TBC coin in the first place and now it has enormous price per coin but sadly those dumb people who do make purchase of those coins been lose all their bitcoin for sure and starts regretting that is why we should really be aware like on this Onecoin.Stay away on this scam coin.
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which coin is best for tradding??? on: May 16, 2017, 02:05:56 PM
hey.. i am new here...now i am start a tradding bt i dont know which coin best for tradding...anyone can suggest me...
If you are a day trader then selecting on top coins on marketcap would be the best choice since you can able to make money out of it if you do know how to trade it actively since price are volatile on those coins and do have good volume but if you are a long trader then i would suggest XRP,VSLICE and theres so lot to mention.Just dont forget the guidelines on choosing one and on how to trade with them.
1946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank in Norway now supports Bitcoin on: May 16, 2017, 01:28:15 PM
A bank called Skandiabanken in Norway now supports Bitcoin. However you cannot purchase the Bitcoins through the bank, you'll be redirected to Coinbase in order to buy.

I don't have this bank myself, so I cannot test this. It seems like it's just linked to Coinbase and the bank does not store the coins on their servers.

This feature is in a beta phase, and the laws in Norway could cause conflicts. I think this is a huge step, and I hope this will soon be supported in more banks. This feature is mainly for investors, you cannot use it to pay bills and such.

Here's a link to the article translated to English:  https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&nv=1&rurl=translate.google.no&sp=nmt4&tl=en&u=http://e24.no/privat/bitcoin/naa-faar-du-bitcoin-i-nettbanken-kan-ikke-fornekte-ny-teknologi/23996559&usg=ALkJrhjVd47hlRvCuPcMw4r7-8SKmywfYw
This is a good news that a bank do already recognize bitcoin but doesnt mean they do store it which is somehow useless at all if they do redirect users to coinbase and its just like all the same on purchasing directly to coinbase.Seems like they are just making partnership? What you think? I would rather choose to use my own bitcoin wallet than bothering on buying btc through banks.

1949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [vDice.io]►Ethereum Blockchain Gambling►►**New & Awesome Version of Site on: May 11, 2017, 12:18:29 PM
So vDice project is altcoin project based on dice, Why I shoud invest on the site ?
Is there any calculation for the revenue from my investation ?

Why won't you be given any calculations for your profits that you will receive from your investments?
It's not just another altcoin project, but a website which has given an awesome opportunity to play there with an altcoin when Bitcoin's price increased a lot (ETH was not too high when vDice took place) and gamblers took much advantage of the website and are still playing. And when they have users playing on their site, I bet why they won't be able to pay their investors?

I think Vdice are paying dividend or the profit sharing to all the VSL coin holders on monthly basis so this is also a good option of buying and keeping the coin in the wallet to claim the profit share which is also a good profit for the coin holders.

Yes, this will also give good confidence to the investors because every month if they get some dividends it will attract many new investors as well. Also, ETH prices also going up along with bitcoin prices. Whoever has invested money in these cryptocurrencies this year has given them a lot of profits.

But for that to happen in reality, I think VSL needs to get listed on some popular major exchanges like Poloniex and Bittrex, because they hold almost 50% of the altcoin market share and getting over there would give much more exposure and volume as well as value to the tokens. 1950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Q: Invest 100k in 4 coins, Method, tips. on: May 11, 2017, 10:05:19 AM
first off maybe your friend should read up on dollar cost averaging.

all of these coins have pumped massively recently. make sure your friend isn't the last person to buy at the price peak.

none of those coins are going anywhere but there's no guarantee they'll continue to rise in the near term. things can get awful quiet awful quickly sometimes.

Thats the main risk because we wont know if we are buying on the possible highest peak price of those coins have been mentioned knowing that they are pumping in previous days or weeks. You should really tell your friend that purchase coins on his own risk and those coins being mentioned do really have potential but still arent sure if they would continue to rise up on upcoming months or years just like European Central Bank said.
1951  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: May 10, 2017, 03:13:00 PM
Obviously bitcoin is better then paypal.Bitcoin is most popular from paypal.

Your very wrong with that since i think Paypal is pretty much known rather than bitcoin. and my basis for it is paypal has been used by many people who shops online aswell as even in outside world we can used our paypal balances to pay some goods and we cannot do it on bitcoins since as of now bitcoin is pretty unpopular to people who has been exposed to the new technology and you can actually see that there are less store accepting it.
Agree, Bitcoin didnt still able to beat up Paypal as of now and you are right its still mainly being used by most people online and even on freelancing sites because paypal is commonly used on recieving salaries and not only that paypal is commonly used on paying up or even doing shopping online by just using paypal. You are right bitcoin is still on its adoption stage and gradually increasing its popularity too.
1952  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: What do u think of a tough keepkey/trezor/leger-nano-s ? on: May 10, 2017, 02:42:57 PM
What if future computers do not support USB anymore? I guess human shouldn't change much so paper wallet is still the best.
Its impossible for USB to be wiped out in the future and even tech would evolved they would still be available and accessible thinking of that most gadgets or hightech things now do have this kind of feature which means we can assume it would last even more and im curious about that toughbook on whats that and also 1 hardware wallet would be enough on storing up your bitcoins theres no need to put on more wallets.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Account closed by Bithumb and $400 DASH lost. on: May 10, 2017, 01:59:14 PM
All over $400.  Nice work Bithumb.  If you're going to steal someone's coins at least pick an account with a decent balance. :\
Exchanging their reputation for just $400 is really a dumb decision if OP claims was true then its a warning for us on using their site and what the heck of the amount of $400 it maybe small for some but for me it was already big.Sorry for your lost mate and it seems they would never give it back into you because they are already denying that the account doesnt exist at all.If you can really show proofs on previous communication with the site then that would be a strong evidence.
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin really worth it? on: May 10, 2017, 11:44:37 AM
I was looking at this Beecoin and thinking about investing in it. It is dirt cheap.

However as I was looking at the price and stuff, I saw someone had bought like 650million beecoins. I'm thinking, "If that coin rises to the value of one cent, he/she is millionaire!"

What am I missing here because I've been trying to ride the Bitcoin/Litecoin waves here recently and I've made a little, but I'm no millionaire. What say you?
The question is if the coin would hit $0.01? Its not possible specially when theres someone holding lots of it and theres no buyer of that coin.Theres no circulation and adoption which means value would really be less and incase it do gain some value that person could easily manipulate the price but 650 millions supply is really exagerated for me and i do consider it as an another shitcoin just like on the market.
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you storing your ethereum? on: May 10, 2017, 11:23:42 AM
I am just using regular myetherwallet's private file and unlock it if needed.
But I don't hold much budget down there even if they are trustable.
This is also i wanted to say i do also use myetherwallet but i do only put small amounts of ETH and most of it are stored on cold storage because no matter how trustable and reputable the risk of losing all coins is still there and we wont know on when it would happen.Downloading whole blockchain or syncing is really pain in the ass but you must sacrificed if you do really like to store your ETH.
1956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Survival Guide: Most Overpumped Altcoins on: May 09, 2017, 02:05:46 PM
One way of escaping a bear encountered in the woods is to play dead.  Best way to survive a bear market is to play dead and don't panic sell what you bought.  It should come back to new heights if you're just patient.
Very nice example and actually right on giving a suggestion. When bear market moves then better to play dead and do nothing at all and panic selling are just for those who have weak hearts.lol. This is actually not a guide which being stated on the Topic title but just a full listing of altcoins which have certain prices and theres nothing special at all.
1957  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For New Investors - The 3 Percent Bitcoin Rule on: May 09, 2017, 12:28:24 PM
People new to Bitcoin may want to consider the 3 Bitcoin Rule (3% of total), since investors unfamiliar with Bitcoin have many stories involving mistakes of selling too early, or jumping in at the wrong time due to the panic of missing a trend.  I met one of the smartest bitcoinaires at a meetup in downtown Dallas, who interacted with Satoshi on the bitcoin forums and was one of the earliest adopters.  He sold his bitcoins to pay for student loans and felt regret at selling the too early, even though I would argue he made a good trade. However, seller’s remorse can happen and we can mitigate it by simply following this 3 Bitcoin Rule: always keep a minimum of 3% of your bitcoin total (so 3 if you have 100).  In our minds, we’ve “lost” these forever, so we don’t debate whether we made a mistake when we sold some or not.

Traders who have more experience may find this rule inappropriate, but for people new to bitcoin, this has done well over time.
3% can be achievable and its possible to kept it for a matter of time but this thing would really depend on the control of a certain individual since we dont really know whats on ahead and feeling of regretting specially early adopters cant really be avoided because they do sell off their bitcoin on a low price but still it would be okay as long we are on profits and its not really late to jump in again even though the price is already high as of now.
1958  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1BTC to spent in trading what coins will you invest on: May 09, 2017, 11:49:38 AM
Altcoins are starting to grow in value and its difficult to pick out the best ones to invest in but I would consider investing in some Creditbit which would pay an interest on your own coins if you can stake them with a trezor hardware wallet, and the beauty about it is anyone using this method is  guaranteed to earn a 12% yearly interest without breaking a sweat simple as that Wink.
Wow,guaranteed 12% yearly? Thats awesome but i would like to know that how did you know such thing? since we cant even predict on whats ahead and if dev do promise on this one then i do have some doubts already seeing on their credibility because i dont really trust when someones claiming such increase in a matter of time specially on fixed times.
If i have the money to spend i would go on ETH,Vslice and XRP.
1959  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Slow payments and fees solution??? on: May 09, 2017, 11:25:52 AM
I don't use Xapo, but Coinbase wallet used the same system of free transaction and after some time they removed it, now you must pay fees there. I believe the same will happen on Xapo sooner or later, transactions can be free now for Xapo users, but aren't for Xapo itself. The only solution for this is a general solution that will afect all transactions, that is what community is trying to implement, but the opinions are divided yet about the best option.
Correct, ive been using coinbase in the past because they dont really charge you some fees when you make transfers of bitcoin into another wallet but later on they do already demanded some fees which i do really consider it too high compared on other wallet but still a good choice because it confirms in no time dont like on having smaller fees or not putting at all.I strongly believe this will also happen to xapo even though im not using it but later on it will surely demand some fees.
1960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [vDice.io]►Ethereum Blockchain Gambling►►**New & Awesome Version of Site on: May 08, 2017, 04:12:36 PM
PoS discussion apart. Guys, it seems ETH has reached another new ATH (oh so many lately) and it is not the end for price gains.
I wonder if that enormous pump linked to bolstered altcoin market confidence (all top altcoins gaining!) is reflected on vDice platform?
It should be the best time to gamble, use lower amount of ETH, collect big wins, right?

ETH price has lately been where it deserved to be, and I still see chances for it to cross $200 if such growth remains.
On the other part, it makes me feel a bit more scared to send my ETH to vDice platform as losing 0.22 ETH means we will lose $20 based on current prices, and I would urge the management to re-consider our request to lower the minimum amount to bet there.

Well, ETH is well established altcoin and it will reach even more value as the bitcoin prices increases more.  I dont think 0.22 ETH is much of a value when you consider that you can win a lot more by gambling at Vdice. It is one of the unique and great site which offers Eth for gambling.
Also ETH price is very less as compare to bitcoins, people who cant afford a single bitcoin, may find it good to buy few eth and then gamble them at Vdice and most of them also earning good profits.

Do you seriously mean what you said? I know that ETH is an established altcoin and may give better competition to Bitcoins because I see fee of Bitcoins more compared to alts and I have started using alts more than Bitcoins now and I also don't have any problems with the concept of the website. But, just think that if you lose 0.22 ETH, you would lose ~0.012 BTC in one bet. Can you really afford that loss? I am sorry, but I can't because I am not a millionaire yet.  Tongue If you have too many ETH, send me some, PM me for my address. (jk)  Grin I can assure you one thing that even if you bet on the least risk odds, you can still lose. That's what is gambling.
Well this is peoples reference on how he gonna treat altcoin and bitcoin but seeing on the situation either you lose up on ETH or BTC its still a waste and i cant really afford to lose them both.ETH do really have the potential in the future and its such a waste if you do make use of it and dont matter if you lose up too much.Btw its better to give than to recieve lol  Grin
