1941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: September 05, 2017, 08:30:22 PM
No matter what bitcoin hatters and governments do to downgrade bitcoin, yet the value still growing.
So, it is a good idea to buy more bitcoin now. No matter the price buy now because the value will still grow in the future.
1942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: September 05, 2017, 08:25:41 PM
I have all my coins in on an online trading site (paxful) (low volume)

I plan on making a large investment very soon, and want to safely store all of my coins
I.E I basically want to drop a couple thousand, and keep them in the safest possible way, where I can revisit them in 5-10 years or so and reap the benefits, or cry about the loss.

What is the best way to do this, and what's the best way of ensuring a backup?

How do you currently store your coins

thanks in advance for any inputs

Keeping bitcoin is easy.
The best way to save bitcoin online is using Xapo.
Xapo is the most secure bitcoin wallet out there.
For offline bitcoin saving use Ledger Nano wallet for backup and everything.
1943  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: September 04, 2017, 11:09:07 PM
If you had your payment in BTC, would you cash out your money or you would wait increasing of cryptocurrency?

Bitcoin and Altcoins market is very unstable due to Chinese banning ICOs and cryptocurrency exchange.
Yes, you may cash out if you have something serious to do with your money, but if you are saving your coins for long time you may leave it perhaps the value may recover in the future. Smiley
1944  Economy / Speculation / Re: why the dump ? on: September 04, 2017, 04:10:26 PM
hi guys anyone here  who knows why all altcoins are down?

anyone expecting bitcoin to hit 4k again?

It clearly because of the Chinese ban, this only touches the ICOs but maybe people are afraid its going to affect crypto that currently exists. I still don't think bitcoin will suffer from this though.

Well, Muslims are celebrating Eid-Kabir worldwide where they normally spends a lot of money on celebrating that lead to slaughtering cattle, camels, rams and other higher animals as well. I think that is one of the reason that causes these massive dump in the market on both bitcoin and Altcoins.

I'm a Muslim and I honestly don't know how you came to this conclusion. The Eid is nothing expensive and It was on last friday, It wouldn't make sense to see the dump happening now.

Lol, agreed with you. Eid and correction in the bitcoin price has no relation at all and it does not make any sense. I also think that, the chinese ICO ban has created the panic situation and few investors has sold their coins in the fear of loosing the money.

The ICO ban in China is like a general hit to the crypto currency market.
All those newly created coins brought money into the market. Now they can't do that anymore.
That's why money leaves the market of crypto currencies now.
Some investors fear that this might be the beginning of the end of the booming phase.

Oh my, Apologies my people!
China is the reason behind all this nightmare that we are witnessing today in the market.
I posted my first comment here without the knowledge of China banning all ICOs and bitcoin to currency exchange and vice versa. Sad
1945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin future after China bans ICO and bitcoin to currency exchange, vice versa on: September 04, 2017, 03:41:15 PM
Maybe china is afraid of losing competition in business, or maybe there is a hidden thing planned by china, but i will not sell my coins, i am sure there is something behind all this

My head was spinning for over two hours now when I first read this news. I'm afraid China is one of the biggest countries with higher number of investors in cryptocurrency world. If China is banning ICOs and bitcoin to currency exchange then we gonna have a serious problem. Sadly, without Chinese customers in cryptocurrency we are losing about 35% of bitcoin users. Sad
1946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is officially banned in China !!! on: September 04, 2017, 03:33:45 PM
Brief English explanation of the announcement: (I am not a good translator so correct me if necessary)

1. ICOs = illegal fundraising. Bitcoin and Ethereum are not currencies and should not be used as currencies in transactions.
2. No organizations and individuals are allowed to start ICOs, and ongoing ICOs should stop immediately with investments send back to investors.
3. (Important) No cryptocurrency exchanges are allowed to offer currency-to-"cryptocurrency" exchange any longer, a.k.a. e.g. no CNY-to-Bitcoin or Bitcoin-to-CNY exchange allowed.
4. Financial institutes that are not banks must not offer any related services.
5. Investors into ICOs must take full responsibility into their actions (that is to say, if you lose your assets through such "investment", no laws would protect you)
6. blah...

Well, I'm afraid for the bitcoin future and other crytocurrencies as well.
China is the second latest country in the world with the highest number of investors in cryptocurrency.
If china bans ICOs, bitcoin to CNY and CNY to bitcoin exchange, it is like China is in war with cryptocurrency.
And if china is in war with cryptocurrency then we gonna have serious problem. Sad

1949  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: August 28, 2017, 11:01:29 PM
As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.

No one knows for how long bitcoin is going to stay, but surely bitcoin is staying for a long time.
Bitcoin price may go and down due to market corrections but it would recover and continue grow from there.
1950  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: August 28, 2017, 10:44:42 PM
Bitcoin: $1260/BTC
Gold: $1241/xau
Well, I can not believe that the Bitcoin prices has crossed over gold sooner than I expect. I thought the process would be finished in April. Wow, Bitcoin is truly worth and everyone who has sold their Bitcoin has made a huge mistake. Nothing can stop Bitcoin right now.

Bitcoin value triple the value of gold. And bitcoin is just getting started!
No one knows exactly how the bitcoin value would be in the future because it would keep increasing everyday.
1951  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: August 28, 2017, 10:34:28 PM
What are the things to do to succeed in trade? What are you doing to make your business bigger?
How can we make more money?

The best to make money for a beginner is by buying and holding coin for some period of time.
The second way is trading bitcoin and other cyptocurrencies on trading platforms like Bittres, Kraken, BitPanda, and Poloniex.
Trading bitcoin and altcoins is more profitable but you have to know what you are doing before starting out!
1952  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Weekly Analysis: Will It Break $4500? on: August 27, 2017, 01:52:34 PM
Quote
Bitcoin price made a nice upside move this past week and traded towards the last high of $4470 against the US Dollar. The price traded as high as $4450 where it faced sellers and started a correction. The price traded below the 23.6% Fib retracement level of the last wave from the $4070 low to $4450 high. However, the downside move was contained by the $4250 support zone.

The 50% Fib retracement level of the last wave from the $4070 low to $4450 high at $4260 prevented declines. The price is now slowly moving higher above $4300, but lacking pace. There is a crucial bullish trend line with support at $4280 forming on the 4-hours chart of BTC/USD. The highlighted trend line support at $4280-4260 could play a major role for the next move in the near term.

As long as the price is above the $4280-4260 support area, it might retest the last swing high at $4450. On the flipside, if there is a break and close below $4250, the price could test $4100. Moreover, the 100 simple moving average on the same chart is near $4070, which is critical support. Overall, the next move depends whether the price can hold the trend line and support at $4250 or not.

Source is here.

I am quite optimistic that this coming week Bitcoin can be able to break the $4,500 wall and possibly rise into $4,600 before making a small correction again. This can be the trend for the coming weeks...a steady rise and then a bit of a decline. This is becoming like a normal behavior for Bitcoin...and I guess there are also people who are happy once it can get into a small dip so they buy Bitcoin at a lower rate...also providing many leeway for trades to make their profits.

Do you agree or you do have a different idea?

$4500 isn't really that far away, it's only like $200 to go.

I think that we have a real shot at breaking $200 here. If it is going to happen, it's going to happen within this month or perhaps early next month. After that, we might not have another opportunity for $4500, because i think downward adjustments will be made to the price.

Even though i'm saying this i think that bitcoin's price is significantly over what it should be, and you should be cautious in investing anything into bitcoin right now. It's best to just cash out at least a percentage of what you own in bitcoin just to be safe. The bubble can pop any minute, it's just a matter of time. We might see more bullish activity but in the end there will be a big dump.

Yes, the interval is not far.
It's only $140 interval to $4500.
The change may happen in minutes.
Bitcoin value is reaching $4500 in a matter of minutes.
So, there's no big deal! Keep calm and buy more bitcoins. Smiley
1953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I invest On BITCOIN right Now or Later on: August 27, 2017, 01:39:13 PM
Should I invest On BITCOIN right Now or Later of August 1. Or
Should I go with Altcoin, If Altcoin Than Which Altcoin is Best for long run investment like 1 year .Please mention the altcoin names

As being a newbies your advised will be Very helpful to me in long run .

You should invest now on bitcoin and you can make huge profit by December after the November's fork, since the August 1st split is over. or you may try investing on Altcoins like Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dash, NEO, Monere or Zcash. they are all great altcoin to invest and make huge profits in the future. 1954  Economy / Speculation / Re: should i buy or sell today on: August 27, 2017, 01:31:15 PM
I am struggling making money with bitcoin trading, what is today's outcome?

My advice: If you want to buy bitcoin buy today, but if you want to sell wait for like a month or so.
If you want to make more profit wait until December after the November's fork, there must be some kind of burst after the split.
1955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Legendary Bitcoin Trader “masterluc” Predicts $15,000 Bitcoin This Year on: August 27, 2017, 01:24:55 PM
Ask any oldtimer, and you’ll find that masterluc is something of a legend in the Bitcoin community. His main claim to fame is that he called the top of the November 2013 Bitcoin bubble and the subsequent bear market.

On December 6, with the price at $1100, he said:

“Third day in a row I wake up, see charts and ask myself "Is this the end?" and third day in a row answer is "Yes.” End of first historical bullish trend 2010-2013.”

https://cointelegraph.com/news/legendary-bitcoin-trader-masterluc-predicts-15000-bitcoin-this-year

Wow, $15k for BTC1? No way! We are already in August now almost September 2017, that means we have only 4 months away to 2018. I don't think there is any chance of bitcoin tripling in price by the end of this year. Perhaps in December 2018, that one I think is possible but 2017 no way man! The guys may be "Legendary" but we are all human beings, that means our predictions are not always right. Sometimes our predictions are right and some are wrong. Smiley
1956  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cashing out could destroy crypto? on: August 27, 2017, 01:16:52 PM
Yes, cashing out is what is killing any crypto, and there is nothing we can do about it. People invested their money on the cryptos to make profits  that's why there are selling whenever they make some profits over. People are looking for profit so whenever they make it then they sell their coins. Grin

1959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin less evil than PayPal? on: August 26, 2017, 04:11:17 PM
PayPal is full of shit! Don't want to even hear its name because PayPal robs people money in one way other. One thing I hate about PayPal is nobody is safe with PayPal no matter how rich or safe you think you are PayPal will still rob you and steal your hard earn money. Angry
