I am still in this coin. Even though price went down and I am sitting at a loss. I will hold until the mining POW ends and see what happens then.

The multi-pools aren't helping. Block reward was halved but was so was the difficulty.

Being listed on Mintpal can go either way.

But consider that the last 6 coins that were listed on Mintpal by Voting ended up looking similar to this

Looks like somebody first donated 4 BTC to bump to the #1 spot and then someone bought 30 BTC worth of coins.

Its going to be EPIC!!!!!!

You guys really need to relax.

There is no way that large buyer yesterday sold. Just not enough volume.

is there a rich list link?

someone bought 4.6 and 1.8 million saffrons?

They were never withdrawn from the exchange
19513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / R7 260X - Stuck on 150Mhz unless 2 monitors are plugged in? on: June 26, 2014, 02:59:31 AM
With the X11/X13 algo, I noticed my R7 260X is stuck at 150Mhz memory clock speed without any monitors being plugged in. If I plug in 2 monitors to both ports then it runs perfectly.

It doesn't do this on Scrypt or Scrypt-N

When I unplug the monitors, it downclocks the memory clock. It does this in Windows and Linux

If you have an old 5xxx or 6xxx card and you upgrade to the new 14.16 driver, you need to use -kernel jackpotcoin and NOT jpc.

JPC will cause huge instability, lower hash and HW errors.

Seems to benefit R9 and 7xxx cards the most.

All my rigs are messed up because of this 14.6 drivers.

They hang or don't install properly. I wish everything was left as before.

The 50 BTC bid wall didn't get pulled, seems like a genuine bid.

Im going long here to average down my long position from 0.000625.

Very tight stop and will sell very agressively. Not good for a long term long.

Got out at 0.008500 which was the previous support.

Was going to rebuy but didn't like the price action.

Honestly its turning into XC.

Pain in the ass trading this. Bought at 199, had to average down at 150, then 90, then 62, and then 48. Fully got out at a profit at 8500

Good luck to you all but I would look into scaling out some positions.

I say just wait it out.  We'll get on there whenever it happens. Let people keep dumping because likely they are the ones that would dump 10m as soon as it hits mintpal without caring if there are buyers for it....which won't give much confidence to people who haven't used or invested in JPC before.

The Zimstake or Aiden coins seem like crap, so I guess with enough time we will get to #1 eventually.

19518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JPC]JackpotCoin#Unique JHA Algo#Ultra Fast Trans#1st True PoW/PoS Hybrid on: June 24, 2014, 12:11:20 AM
I think we should do some kind of group buy to get it listed on Mintpal next Monday. Currently only 3.3BTC to get it the #1 spot.

We can get escrow if required.

I am thinking we can do it by how many coins you hold. For example if you own 10 Million JPC you would donate 0.5 BTC, if you own less like 1 Million JPC you would donate 0.05 BTC.

This would be a pretty good investment and the value of the coin should double-triple when it gets listed on Mintpal, the largest and most liquid exchange.

Let me know what everybody think here.

If 3.3BTC is too much we can do it next week where I am pretty sure it will be around 2 BTC or so to get the #1 spot.

The payouts are about

1500JPC/Mhash/Day

At the current price of 30 satoshis, I am mining X11 and just buying JPC.
