1961  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I think I will stick to a 24 word seed phrase ( 12 words brute forced ) on: April 28, 2023, 01:44:32 PM
thoughts?
Is this a new type of FUD? A five-minute search will tell you that the whole story is not true. This topic brought me back to Block-size FUD from bitcoin.com when BCH increase the block size.

I remember that a user on Reddit put the 12 words unordered with a prize for whoever reaches them, and yet no one was able, so you are safe as long as those words are true randomly arranged.
1962  Economy / Speculation / Re: The power of Bitcoin in global world on: April 28, 2023, 12:14:01 PM
According to Kemper's formula: A person need a total of 0.06624605 BTC in order to guarantee wealth worth $1 million.
I cannot understand such relationships, but suppose that the amount of 0.06624605 BTC is enough to guarantee a fortune worth a million dollars, then a million dollars is an amount that does not equal the value of a million dollars today. In the past, it was impossible for an individual to reach a billion dollars, and now we are starting to hear people with wealth more than Trillion dollars.

when the value of 0.06624605 BTC is equal to one million dollars, this means that the individual can generate that amount as income in less than a year.

Summary of what I am trying to say, there is no specific limit for Bitcoin to be rich, just work hard and collect more, reduce your expenses, and you will enjoy a safe life.
1963  Economy / Reputation / Re: Heads up on this user on: April 28, 2023, 12:05:44 PM
He agreed on making a deal but after asking for atleast an escrow or a downpayment he no longer respond to my message.
There is no money involved yet but I just want to put this as a warning incase he makes another post here asking for help. Atleast a decent guy will reply that he no longer need someone for the job instead of ghosting.

Is this the user @yiskadesign
He's a newbie acc with only 7 posts and no trust history, so don't do any transaction with him unless he uses escrow (if you're both a newbie member) or sends a deposit if you're a trusted member.

If he refuses to do, put a trust warning and you can ask others to do it.
1964  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Why Coinmarketcap and Coingecko help scammers ? on: April 28, 2023, 11:58:36 AM
What are your suggestions to solve this problem? Removing the content will open the door to giving them the power to manipulate the market.
By removing a currency or threatening to do so, they can manipulate the price or get a commission from the developers, so it is not the best solution.

Personally, I can say the least they can do is:
 - Red warning mode.
 - Stop all links and make the platform work without links, while showing links to scam cases.
 - Place warnings in front of the price that it may not be accurate.
 - Putting a red list of those platforms while not appearing when searching or reducing the possibility of their appearance.

In the end, competition and the use of alternatives will force them to improve the quality of the content they offer.
1965  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Bitcoin Mixer on: April 28, 2023, 11:46:00 AM
Our goal is to grow the Anonymity Set to 10,000 deposits so until that is reached we will offer a reward to everyone using the service. Each month we will allocate 1BTC to distribute between all funded Notes proportionally to their balance. Payments will be made every day and you are free to withdraw your deposit anytime. If the amount allocated for rewards is 1BTC a month that means 1/30 = 0.0333BTC will be distributed every day.
Will this list be available to everyone? Or is it private because many are trying to stay away from mixing services due to the lack of clarity in government decisions regarding them, and the issue of Mining campaign may mean linking any user directly to your business, so the legal risks are greater.

In general, I hope that you will strive to empirically explain your ideas, because they seem complicated at the moment.
and then a beta version is released before activated any update on the site. The continuous update of the service may leave backdoors that can be exploited in the future then completely destroy the project, especially since any problems related to privacy now will cause others to lose confidence in you.

1967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price gets to $60k this year? on: April 23, 2023, 01:46:27 AM
With the economic changes that are taking place now, the price is far from reaching that level, at least for it to settle above the 60,000 level for a long time. We may see that the price will break the 40,000 barrier for some time, but it is difficult to see prices higher than that.

All these analyzes are for the normal situation, but if something exceptional happens, we may reach that secret for several weeks before a correction occurs.
1968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Important update on Bitcoin. Why is it falling? Will it go lower? on: April 23, 2023, 01:40:48 AM
If the price increases or decreases by 10%, it is considered that the price has decreased. The price of bitcoin is known to fluctuate, and the change from the price of 30,000 to 27,000 is not a drastic change if we take into account all the recent rises.

Therefore, even if the price drops, it still represents a golden opportunity for those who want long-term construction, because the possibility that we will be above 35 thousand after six months is very high.

And the rest of the reasons you mentioned do not directly affect the price.
1969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin was to be physical product? on: April 23, 2023, 01:32:22 AM
Over time, most of us will not enjoy privacy when using Bitcoin due to the many restrictions imposed by the government, and with all the money that is invested in tracking transactions and the effort to close all services that enhance privacy, I do not think that the average user will be able to keep his currencies without disclosing them to the government.

In addition, Bitcoin is far from the high privacy that cash offers.
1970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inactive BTC whale transfers $8M worth Bitcoin After 10 years Inactivity on: April 22, 2023, 08:27:01 AM
They are all hypotheses, but he is free to control his money and possible hypotheses:

 - Discover a way to reach his currencies.
 - He had an emergency circumstance or lost his basic work.
 - He found an investment opportunity that would return it with a return of $ 8 million before the price increased.

Whether it is correct or not, it is proven that the inactive currencies are not considered missing currencies unless they are sent to a proof of burning address
1971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoiner still support the use of centralized exchanges? on: April 22, 2023, 08:19:56 AM
Because they view the bitcoin as an investment, regardless of the way the Bitcoin is designed, but the abuse of use (using something other than what was made for it) is famous in almost everything and therefore the profits are what these people move.

Also, we cannot launch a specific template for the reason for using bitcoin, even if Satoshi returns and said: Do not use bitcoin except for a specific purpose, people will not listen to him/them.
1972  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to buy one time off bitcoin. on: April 22, 2023, 08:06:26 AM
Fear of buying and trying to buy at the cheapest price will end up that you never buy, because u believe that there will be an opportunity to buy bitcoin at a cheaper price and that price may not be cheaper again.

Sad story:

Think about it when the bitcoin back to 20K, many did not buy then back to 16k and people did not buy from them cuz the price will be 10k and then suddenly the price returned to 30K.

Stop fear and buy by 30% and buy more with any new deep, and so on, DCA's strategy is good in your case as well.

This is not an investment advice.
1973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Suspended NEBL Withdrawals on: April 22, 2023, 07:56:34 AM
I am not surprised that Binance keeps delisting some of these Zombie tokens from its exchange, more and more tokens will be delisted because what most of them have going for them is just that they are listed on Binance,

I see that as high-level pumping/dumping scam, they can listing any new token to their exchange because it paid a larger amount as their conditions for inclusion are easy to circumvent if I have a lot of money and they can pump its value --> people will come with their money ---> with the price collapse --> there is not enough liquidity and finally that token is removed. REPEATE

If people stopped investing in these tokens/coins, it will change much and the number of listing/delisting.

Good option but Ethereum network will take a lot of fees in transferring and bridging. Also, Bitget and MEXC exchange does not support etherum based NEBL deposits.
Do you have a link to the article where one can bridge NEBL to BSC network?

1974  Economy / Exchanges / Re: SEC wants to regulate DEXs on: April 22, 2023, 07:25:04 AM

At least, we have a small number of DEXs that truly deliver as promised. Ultimately, the SEC will give up once it discovers that it's impossible to take down the decentralized world of crypto/Blockchain tech. Who knows if this will make the industry bigger and stronger than ever? Just my thoughts Grin
Government restrictions will make the development of such projects slow and almost impossible because the government will follow the program's developer and the program will be open source and therefore needs a team of developers to avoid any software bugs, and do not forget that they will try to hide their identity and therefore the update of the codes will become impossible, not to mention the damage that the government may cause From blocking the range, tracking developers, searching for vulnerabilities and exploiting them.

If the platforms are closed-source, then they can leave honeypots and try to track individuals with new good locking high liquidity projects.

In short, this technology will not grow if government restrictions are placed.
1975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why Bitcoin does not support NFTs as much as Ethereum. on: April 21, 2023, 09:01:00 AM
Smart contracts can be managed on Bitcoin [1] [2] (with or without sidechains (ie. RSK)), but Ethereum gives more dynamic and more flexible solutions, but what is the real need for NFT?

Smart contracts are simply code that executes certain commands, and NFT is just data that can be decoded and displayed in the form of an image or writing, but there is no real use for this data.

Therefore, in short, it will not contribute to the development of Bitcoin and will not be the only reason for its currency to gain a significant market value.

1976  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Jaxx Liberty wallet shut down || Attention, Jaxx users! on: April 21, 2023, 08:23:10 AM
What amazed me is that there is a person who is still using this service, since 2017, and I hear a lot of warnings, especially related to security, so I did not expect that someone would use it or even that it works until now.

In general, the wallet is compatible with many wallets, and even if it is not, you can use iancoleman and extract your coins ----> https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39/releases/

1977  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Why not save yourself the trouble? on: April 21, 2023, 08:07:25 AM
The main goal of hardware wallets is to generate and keep the private key offline, so if your friend is careless and will randomly click on links or download apps from an unknown source, even with hardware wallets they will lose their money.

Let him learn:

 - Nobody gives you free money or random gifts.
 - Do not click on a random link.
 - Do not download applications that you do not trust or of unknown origin.

If you buy a hardware wallet, make the device that you connect to it only be used to send currencies (a clean and open source operating system, or it was purchased legally and did not download random applications on it)
1978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Michael Saylor work on the Taproot Upgrade? Is he mining BTC? on: April 21, 2023, 07:54:54 AM
When a currency is classified, what is classified based on it is the currency’s business model and not the intent of the buyer, and it is a legal rule as the judgment is based on actions and not on intentions.
So, if you bought the currency and were working on proof-of-stake and proof-of-work, then things are completely different.
Also, Michael Saylor and others cannot change the way bitcoin works even if he wants to sell all his currencies.

This matter does not apply to proof-of-stake currencies, as the owner of the largest part will determine the direction of the currency.

1979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs Competitors: Who will lose Relevance? on: April 21, 2023, 07:32:53 AM
Over my long knowledge of cryptocurrencies, and since 2017, when Ethereum was issued as a currency that has its place that is different from Bitcoin and has a bright future, thousands of cryptocurrencies have appeared claiming to be the "Ethereum killer", but most of these projects have died during the first 3 years and with the transformation of Ethereum to POS, you will not be able to be long-term competitive currencies.
So, if ehereum fees rise, we may witness competition, otherwise these currencies will die with time.
1980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Suspended NEBL Withdrawals on: April 21, 2023, 07:25:31 AM
It's the first time I'm hearing about this token, but as long as it is delisted, you won't be allowed to withdraw to BSC (There is no difference between Binance as an exchange and BSC, despite their attempt to say that the network is decentralized.)

But from the screenshot that you provided, the option to withdraw is still possible via Neblio, so why you not using it?
According to CMC you can sell it at ----> https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/neblio/markets/
