1041  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bulldog Exchange ✔️ Platform for fast and reliable exchange ✔️ on: October 08, 2023, 09:34:59 AM
Since you provide a service to BULLDOG EXCHANGE OTC DESK, can you sign a message to an address that has a sufficient balance of Bitcoin or add legal information that you have a balance estimated at any value close to a million dollars?

You have this list of reserves. At a glance it tells us that you have over $20 million in reserves. Can you prove any of these reserves?

There is no need to create a separate topic as long as the topics are related. You can ask everything you want about Test net in one place, but what are you trying to learn? I saw that you are asking about several topics related to electrum. You can find what you are looking for here ----> https://electrum.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

for testnet coins you can use faucets or PM @n0nce
1043  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Preev.com is Down ? on: October 08, 2023, 09:06:45 AM
I do not know the reason for preferring Preev.com, but if you search the forum you will find that there is a problem with this domain every 3 to 6 months, so it cannot be relied upon as a reliable source. The problem will be solved, but thinking about alternatives is desirable, especially since we are no longer in the year 2016 and there are many good alternatives.

https://preev.net/ is the best alternative.
1044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can change lives on: October 08, 2023, 08:58:04 AM
So many people, when you suggest investment in the crypto industry, they will tend to make excuses of market volatility and coin performance in 365 days without even doing there own research, what about some years back?

The reason that made you sell at a price of 27,000 is the same reason that made you sell at a price of 30 dollars and you are a buyer at a price of 0.2 dollars, or 3000 dollars and you are a buyer at a price of 0.2 dollars.
I remember that I did not believe that the price of Bitcoin would reach 11 thousand dollars, and some of us had sold at that price at that time, so it is difficult to find an ordinary person who does not believe in how Bitcoin will develop or the need for it in the future. He will decide to keep Bitcoin at that price, and some of us may sell at The price is 100,000, and the price may reach 500,000 in the future.
1045  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Join Me in Shaping the Future of AI - A Pathway to Financial Prosperity + on: October 08, 2023, 08:45:26 AM
A long article, more than 1000 characters, and we did not spoil anything or obtain useful information. This is enough reason to abandon your project. Try to give a simple idea, without meaningless details and a brief explanation of your idea.
You will not get any support because you are collecting several terms without adding anything useful.
1046  Other / Meta / Re: Switching to Presearch search engine for bitcointalk? on: October 08, 2023, 08:04:52 AM
Using loyce.club[1] & ninjastic.space[2] will give better results than Google or even a third-party search, as they provide archival copies of all posts in the forum, and thus it is easy to find the post according to the user name or keywords.
Search engines may be better at predicting what you want to search for, but the sites below are good if you remember a word or several words in the topic you are searching for.

1047  Other / Meta / Re: Python script to automatically delete or edit all bitcointalk posts on: October 08, 2023, 07:55:05 AM

just enter the number you see in your profile and then hit enter. It will then open up a chrome browser with the login page for bitcointalk open, you will have 60 seconds to log in and when the 60 seconds are up, the script will start deleting and editing posts from your profile.
Note: When logging in, you should set number of minutes to be logged in to a higher number if you have many posts

You don't need that, you can create a config.ini file which can be in this format

Code:
[LOGIN]

# Enter your username and password
user = YOUR_USERNAME
pass = YOUR_PASSWORD

# after login go to -------> https://bitcointalk.org/captcha_code.php and copy that code
#Paste that code here
captcha_code = YOUR_CAPTCHA_CODE

Using ----> https://bitcointalk.org/captcha_code.php the user will not need to do this manually.

Code:
 def login(
        self, user, pass, captcha_code
    ):

self.logger.info("Attempting to login...")
        session = HTMLSession()
        login_uri = "https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=login2;ccode={}".format(
            captcha_code
        )

Although I think your code is useful, unfortunately there are several bots that scrape data now.
You can communicate with some of the well-known people here, but I do not know who do this without us knowing them. Therefore, I assume that once data is published here, it will not be deleted.
1048  Other / Meta / Re: Should Merit-Sources use feelings when giving out Merit? on: October 07, 2023, 11:41:41 AM

Hey! I was thinking of something this night, this thing about merits and the merit-sources. If you are a merit-source, should you always give away merit to good posts even if you dislike the user that created the post?

What is the problem? I disagree with some members in the forum, but they perform a good role in other boards or in local boards. If a person spams or does something that I do not like, I will be put him on my ignore list, but there are more than 100 Merit source members and I sent merits to many other members who can sent 1/2 of it to that account.
If that account is on everyone's ignore list, the problem is with you.
1049  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most risky adventure you must avoid on: October 07, 2023, 11:20:03 AM
Personally, I believe that psychological factors should not be involved in trading, that is, if there are factors surrounding you that push you to trade, such as a friend telling you to invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum, or any investment, and that it is a guaranteed investment and your opportunity to be rich without having technical knowledge or background, then it is better not to do that.
Study your plan well, talk to people with experience, build your convictions, and then invest. Even if you lose, you will know the reason for the loss.
Investing is not only about taking risks, but also about learning from mistakes.
1050  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture vs oil on: October 07, 2023, 11:12:11 AM
If we talk about the countries of the Arabian Gulf, most of them do not have sufficient agricultural areas and therefore resort to solutions. For example, Qatar cultivates large areas in Australia, where it has rented land, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has agreements in Argentina and Brazil, which provided them with animal meat products, and the Emirates has multiple partnerships, Therefore, the Gulf countries need other countries in terms of food and security, which is known in the Petrodollar Agreement.
We would like to mention Russia, which possesses large lands that enable it to produce oil and agriculture, but what is happening now has made globalization very difficult and trust in other countries even more difficult.
So it is not black and white or Agriculture vs oil
1051  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Eng: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message - Fingerprint on: October 07, 2023, 10:46:39 AM
As the members mentioned above, it is better to rephrase the topic in your own personal style, or at least try out even a limited part of the explanation and try to show an updated version of the UI. In general, mdayonliner did a great job on this topic and I was surprised at how it was deceived in a similar topic weeks later. Overall, add your personal touch to future topics and keep up the good work.
1052  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I got it all wrong from the beginning on: October 07, 2023, 10:27:57 AM
It is not an option to produce, but if the wallet does not give you a private key, it is most likely closed source and therefore you cannot trust it. Avoid using any closed source wallet, it is not well audited and there is no option to extract the private key.
As mentioned above, to enhance the security of your account, try to reduce exposure of seeds to the Internet or include them in other wallets.

I advise you to learn the basics by reading the book “Mastering Bitcoin”[1] or watching Andreas’[2] videos.

1053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can happen next time due to a lack of proper knowledge about Bitcoin? on: October 07, 2023, 10:14:24 AM
Defining domination of the entire world will help us a lot. Bitcoin still cannot have scalability for all daily transactions. In fact, any decentralized system will fail in this and therefore second layer solutions and a lot of development will be needed before we reach this stage, not to mention that this will require For years until we reach trillions of dollars in market capacity, which may happen after 10 years, 20 years or more.
Therefore, when that time comes and technology develops, many things will change about our current world, and therefore we cannot rely on the values that exist now to predict the future.
1054  Economy / Exchanges / Re: withdraw crypto from bitget on: October 07, 2023, 09:43:02 AM
I don't think he'd even be able to withdraw if he didn't complete KYC yet. According to this article[1] the deadline is the 30th of September for existing clients and the 1st of September for new ones so that's probably not what he's trying to test.
The announcement date is August 22, 2023 and the last day for withdrawal is September 30. The period is very simple and will not allow everyone to withdraw. What is happening is closer to optional fraud than to being real restrictions because most platforms give 3 to 6 months as a grace period before withdrawal restrictions are mandatory.
I have experience with OKX and by communicating with the support team they allowed me to withdraw without ID verification.
1055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Much Bitcoin Address with balance today? on: October 07, 2023, 09:05:58 AM
Damn, 48 million addresses are too much, and surprise always increases every day which makes a positive trend for us (holder).
I do not know if there is any benefit to this data, but it gives us a general view of the amount of adoption, which does not seem great. The number of 48 million addresses may indicate one way or another because the number of users is in the process of 10 million to 100 million, and the number may be less than that. You need to remove the active addresses, which are usually for platforms or services, and you will find an approximate number of the total number of users.
1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mastering Bitcoin Security: Tips, Tools, and Best Practices on: October 07, 2023, 08:26:29 AM
This is a collection of some of the strangest pieces of advice I heard this month. What do you mean by locking your keys tightly? Hardware wallets from Ledger no longer have that good reputation. Why do you need two-factor authentication applications? You can create a multi-signature wallet. Browser Shields means first-line wallets and therefore a greater possibility of losing your money. It's also bad for privacy.
1057  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PNNV.com - Major update #2 - need your review, again! on: October 07, 2023, 08:17:45 AM
Then OP should consider creating a page for this I can see the Exchange page on the Bitcoin Live Monitoring homepage, but not the Bitcoin Live Monitoring page on the Exchange homepage or he can create a link at the bottom of the Exchange homepage, which will also serve its purpose.
It seems that the site is under maintenance and EXCHANGE  is a ready code for a third-party service and is not part of the site's coding. If you notice that there are some icons that do not work, such as https://pnnv.com/#about, sources, and even Twitter and Telegram links, so let us hope that the new UI update will be better.
1058  Economy / Services / Re: We can recover wallets with partially lost seeds on: October 07, 2023, 07:05:02 AM
Since you are providing this service on behalf of satoshispain.com/, can you ask one of their specialists to log in to give answers or clarifications to the quote below?

Quote
-Know if the private key is 12,18 or 24 words.
-Why were the words lost, how and when. What condition was the person in when they lost them.
-This only works if you have missed some words (no matter the position). For more than certain words it can take dozens of years.
-It doesn't matter how much money there is (1 satoshi or 1000 bitcoins). This service is carried out to help people get their money back.

 - It is not a private key but a wallet seed.
 - How will the answer to this question will help? Are you not supposed to brute-force It?
 - Some words are a general word. If 6 words are missing, it is impossible to recover them. The number of words must be determined and allocated precisely.
 - You are not a charitable company, so you must care about the money. If the missing were 3 words, and the seeds were about $10 BTC, then the cost of recovering would be much higher than the value of $10.

BTW, I gave you a negative trust due to the high risks related to your service without proof of that.
1059  Economy / Services / Re: We can recover wallets with partially lost seeds on: October 04, 2023, 11:51:24 AM
I reported this post to preferably be deleted, or to be moved to the appropriate board. It has been moved to the service board but this look like a scam.

The details he provides will determine whether this service is a scam or should be deleted.

@OP What do you mean by “missing some words from the seed?” You claim to be a specialized company and the word “some” should not be used here because it means 3 to 9. If you miss 9 words, it is impossible for any company to help you access your coins and 1 word missing may make it impossible or possible.

Since you are a legal company, can you make a video about your devices because you need higher computing capabilities on average than regular services?

In general, there is already this service ----> Bitcoin Wallet Recovery Services - for forgotten wallet password, which seems to have been working for a while and is more reliable than you.
1060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BIP324 (P2P encryption) was merged on: October 04, 2023, 11:29:00 AM
we finally has a https-like encryption to Bitcoin  Grin

The most important development in my opinion is that by relying on the session ID, we will have guaranteed that there is no malicious man-in-the-middle by matching the ID with the real user, in addition to the possibility of adding future authentication pairs and increasing the risk of knowing about the passive attack.

Did not know about this upgrade, but now due to this topic, I realize how important BPI324 is. As I did some research on my own. And found out it is still under development from 2019 and if it really has that much potential then I hope it will be completed soon. But the funny thing is, I am not a Core user or a node user, or have to do anything with validations, conformation, miner, etc. Just saying.

But still, it will help the overall ecosystem of BTC and it will help the users like me. I will bookmark this, for further knowledge that others will post here.

 1) You or anyone can submit a BIP proposal and some discussion about it is captured and published in the Bitcoin Core GitHub and only then needs approval and implementation.
 2) Approval may take some time and many stages of experimentation and implementation, for example https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/28374
 3) Then it will either be withdrawn or rejected. For example, in the past there was earlier BIP-151, which was withdrawn when BIP324 was added.
 4) according to Improvement, whether it is compatible with the old nodes and here is a softfork or not, and we need a hardfork that will determine the execution time.
 5) it is implemented in some wallets to reach a large part of Softwares

For example, even the BIP 39 upgrade (mnemonic backup aka wallet seeds) is not used by Bitcoin Core.
