1021  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: need guidness on: October 11, 2023, 08:26:05 AM
I do not know whether the problem is that the forum is difficult to find good topics, or that beginners today are more keen on education and searching for sources, but the best advice you can learn is how to search properly in the forum and on Google. If you learn that, then you will find that 90% of the questions What concerns you has already been answered, and the 10% you can state here.
Learning this will open the door for you to thousands of topics similar to ours that you are looking for.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first Bitcoin on: October 11, 2023, 08:20:41 AM
This is about Merits and signature more than your first bitcoin.  Smiley
Consider the money you make from signature campaigns as an additional reward and profit instead of a source of income. Invest it for 10 or twenty years and it may buy you a house or a nice car or provide a better education for your children.
1023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Recommended non KYC fiat on ramp(s) - "whitelisted" by tradfi banks on: October 11, 2023, 08:11:15 AM
It is difficult to find a service that does not accept identity verification and has activity with banking systems, and even existing ones may be able to do this through some banking loopholes, but once the platform grows and has a large user base, identity verification procedures are necessary, so if you are looking Regarding services or companies that offer Visa or MasterCard cards, you may find these services, but the fees will be large. The limits are less than 10 thousand, and there is a possibility that they will stop at any time, and the only card that currently works is Enzo Pay (it may change over time). As for buying Bitcoin Using these cards, try your luck with the platforms on bestchange
1024  Economy / Economics / Re: It doesn't increase purchasing power on: October 11, 2023, 07:56:31 AM
There are many economic theories that believe that interest rates, no matter how low, are harmful to the economy, and therefore loans should be 1:1, and that there is no safe and secure way to generate money from money except through risk, such as trading, trading, and other methods, but given the world we are in and its nature. In the global economic system, this does not happen. We have a system based on interest and on creating money from money and printing more for prosperity, and the person who collects the assets remains the biggest winner.
1025  Other / Meta / Re: Is there any way of knowing decayed smerits. on: October 11, 2023, 07:30:16 AM
If I remember correctly, the quote dates back to the year 2018/2019, when it was to encourage people to spend the sMerits that were distributed to them for free in addition to the points they collect, but after that the need arose to rely on merit sources more, as most of these accounts were either distributed sMerits or are no longer active therefore. I do not think that this rule will be implemented, and if it is implemented, its impact will be limited. As long as you have sMerit and see a good post, it is best to send it

To everything there is a season, blue Snow
When will we hear responses to some of the comments made in the campaign review?
What changes may occur, especially to some points that everyone agreed upon, such as the mixing algorithm and withdrawal fees?
1027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is there any safe ways out there to get 10-15 % ANY return rate ? on: October 10, 2023, 10:48:30 AM
It is easy to get 10-15% ANY return rate, but the problem is that you will get that percentage in the form of altcoin and the value of this token/coin may decrease, or you may not be able to withdraw it, or it requires a large capital that makes the risk of losing everything very possible.
Therefore, instead of looking for an easy, unguaranteed profit, it is better to learn trading, as it can easily enable you to achieve a good profit, or at least DCA, for Bitcoin during the next 24 months.

1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100% of Bitcoin Pre-mimed In the first block- 21m in circulation. on: October 10, 2023, 09:33:10 AM
These articles are often from altcoins to support their argument, those currencies in which the developing team holds most of the liquidity. Therefore, the easiest thing is to say that this design is the same as that of Bitcoin, and that the miners are mining a pre-existing Bitcoin, which supports their claims by saying that there are only 21 million Bitcoins, and therefore it is It has already been mined and all these beliefs are incorrect and not accurate.

I've always hoped to host my own Bitcoin nodes someday, but where I hail from, it's practically hard to download the complete blockchain due to poor internet connections and inconsistent electrical supply.
If you want to learn, you don't need to. There is a lot of data available that you can check.
1030  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bank-free Bitcoin Mining on: October 10, 2023, 08:52:45 AM
There is something strange about this thread. More than 5 newbie accounts are posting for the first time here on Local Time, and the sharing pattern seems very similar, so I think they all belong to someone who wants this topic to appear first (bumping group), but why?
The website design does not look professional, in addition to their Twitter account being banned, and all of this is not consistent with the claims that they have 20,000 Merchants around the United States.

1031  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LATOKEN and CoinW - Two Exchanges I Have Had Bad Experiences Using on: October 10, 2023, 08:17:26 AM

LATOKEN and CoinW are two exchanges that I have had bad experiences using.
I do not want to get into details, as I do not want the exchange owners or workers to identify me.

If they are a bad platform, it is difficult for them to get to know you because you will not be the only one, and if they are good, even the best services do not get a 100% rating.

you can add some details that may not be directly related to your identity. They may have a problem with the support team, represented by a late response, the lack of a specialized team, problems with withdrawal, high fees, and other problems.

In general, I did not find anything related to CoinW, but many people talked about avoiding LATOKEN:

 - LATOKEN altcoin virtual currency trading is a user scam
 - Avoid using LATOKEN and Cointiger to buy any altcoins.
 - LA TOKEN IS A SCAM EXCHANGE BEWARE OF THEM
 - Is LAToken Exchange an exchange for listing Scam tokens ?
1032  Other / Meta / Re: Reading / responding to other language boards to learn on: October 10, 2023, 08:06:22 AM
Recently I've been browsing the French subforum of BitcoinTalk - I'm a Canadian who frequently visits Quebec every once in a while - as such my French is rusty but I can understand the basic premise of what's being discussed.
It depends on local board mod. If he is strict and if it is difficult to understand what you are trying to say, he may delete it as a spam unless you create a separate topic dedicated to your desire to learn that language.

I tried to do this with the Chinese language. I had a transaction that required me to travel there and I started to learn some words, but I did not find active members here, so it may be good for those who have the ability to write and understand sentences, but the wording remains weak, but it is understandable.
1033  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Introducing a new player in the cryptocurrency market: basex.one! on: October 10, 2023, 07:28:46 AM
Isn't Binance enough for all kinds of exchanges ?
No, some instant exchanges are still gaining popularity due to the speed of the transfer and the absence of the need to create an account and KYC with a fee that is often ~1-3 USD, and therefore it is a compromise solution for those who want to exchange amounts less than $1000 and do not want to provide their data to binance.

There are also some coins that are not listed on binance or have high withdrawal fees.
1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it important to check addresses for AML before doing transactions with it? on: October 09, 2023, 11:17:35 AM

Do you consider this important? Usually when we request some payment in bitcoin, we don't care where those funds comes from. But what happens when some of us try to cash out that balance through some CEX to your bank account

More importantly, is this AML score accurate? Take any transactions and check them from several sources and you will find that the number is completely different and very random.

These explorers set such values to appear professional, but all they do is that there are standards that they follow in this classification, and you can easily adhere to these standards and make this number 100%, even if the transaction comes from illegal activities.
The best thing you can do is to use mixing services or withdraw money from one CEX and deposit it to another CEX where it is easy to prove that the deposits came from them.

+ stop using gambling services and casinos.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a "cryptographic vulnerability or weakness in the Bitcoin protocol"? on: October 09, 2023, 11:11:16 AM
The most recorded vulnerability was CVE-2010-5139 aka block 74638[1], which contained two overflow outputs transaction each 92233720368.54277039 BTC (64 bit signed number) the most important is sign bit when it is 0 it is positive or 1 then the number is negative (It cannot be negative because that mean input is greater than the output.) In addition to problems with transaction fees. A hard fork was performed to solve this problem.

In general, whenever there is such vulnerability, the possibility of a hard division can solve any problem.

1036  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is this a scam!! Help on: October 09, 2023, 10:22:02 AM
I can’t believe you think I’m promoting this . Geezzz. Don’t put everyone in the same boat. I hate I put the links up there now. Over suspicion of the wrong person. I’m not even angry. More shocked than anything
We all know that this site is a scam, but you nevertheless mentioned the part that your friend was able to withdraw from the site.
Therefore, I will put your account on my watch list, and if you post stories like this in the future, you will be the scammer.

Quote
and got $3000 back in a few days. They waived her fee so she did cash out.

As a general advice, do not trust any service that gives you guaranteed profits from deposits without revealing the nature of the activity. They are usually scammers even if you are able to withdraw your money.
1037  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HTX (Huobi) hacked, $8 million lost on: October 09, 2023, 10:01:01 AM
Justin Sun announced yesterday that hacker who stole $8 million few weeks ago returned the full amount, and as a reward he got 250 ETH. Sounds good, but considering this news is coming from him, I would take it with a pinch of salt.

What is suspicious is that it is less than 10% or even 5%, which is often given to those who return stolen money. Are there independent third parties investigating such allegations, because what appears to be an employee did not receive his dues and then stole that money in exchange for getting what he wanted. Will the platform guarantee that it has become safer or actually enhance this, or is it money that was lost and recovered?
These responses are more likely to arouse suspicion than to be useful.
1038  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Experience becoming Binance P2P Merchant on: October 09, 2023, 09:47:27 AM
Advice varies depending on the payment method, but from my experience, the best advice can be:

 - Simply and clearly write the rules: Write all the rules clearly and ask the user if he has read and agreed to them before starting.
 - Keep all conversations inside the platform: Do not try to communicate outside the platform, as the support team will not help you there.
 - Keep the conversation brief.
 - State the times of activity: Clearly state the times of activity and the times when you are not active so that the buyer does not worry.
 - Do not care about negative feedbacks: receiving some negative evaluations is useful and healthy. What is more important is how to deal with them, solve them, and leave a good impression.
 - Be friendly.

The friendlier you are and the quicker you solve problems, the more deals you will earn.
1039  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Introducing a new player in the cryptocurrency market: basex.one! on: October 09, 2023, 09:22:25 AM
The site only provides an HTTP connection without using TLS to encrypt HTTP requests and responses aka HTTPS, and therefore it is difficult to trust that the development team has enough experience to ensure that the platform’s funds are safe.
The UI is not responsive and therefore it is difficult to perform clicks either on a phone or  desktop.
All the features are available on most platforms, so it is difficult to compete with them.
Transfer fees are not the best, so you do not have any significant advantages.
1040  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Preev.com is Down ? on: October 09, 2023, 09:01:11 AM
For now, their issue is related to DNS but the DNS provider is only offering monthly and annual subscriptions.
Why the owner of preev.com didn't switch to free Cloudflare isn't that enough? Switching to free Cloudflare could save costs while providing SSL, CDN, and DDoS protection for free and also eliminate DNS expiration.
There are a lot of questions, and I remember that the last time when the site stopped, one of the people contacted the owner and access to the site was restored after several days, so this may happen again. The problem is that this down time has become many and numerous, so it is not a reliable site to rely on.

1) bitmover developed a good website with multiple options, but it is not a simple price tracking tool with a short URL and a simple interface just like it was in Preev.com.
2) The site owner talked about updates to the UI, so the site is not currently working as a simple tool for displaying the price of Bitcoin.
