Interesting that the total supply of Polyswarm tokens will not be decided until the end of the ICO when the amount of ETH raised has been calculated. I do like this idea because it ensures the correct amount of tokens are created.
So it is not really pre-mined; I think this approach ensures success of ICO since you are not basing the decision on the caps. Pretty smart move. The idea and execution is quite innovative. I guess one should bookmark this. Great thinking ! All Icos should follow this idea. Normally Icos just set up everything before they go to the sales, but with this idea they can make the correct amount of tokens just as cryptossi have said. That's indeed an efficient approach. This might in the end avoid all token burning and bluffing stuff done by almost all the rest of the ICO world. The most interesting part is token burning meaning itself is not understandable to many ICOs. They just put it for sale in exchanges and call it as token burning. |

The hard cap is not calculated in USD, but rather in ETH. You can find it in the first post, or in the white paper - hard cap is 36,000 ETH, or around 30 million USD, if you calculate by 825 USD to ETH. Out of about 10 mil FSBT tokens, they have sold approx 1.67 mil FSBT tokens. Still some 4.5 weeks to go for ICO completion. Lets see how far this will go in the coming days when ETH price has cooled down a bit. |

Polyswarm ICO is progressing steadily. Going to hit 23 mil most likely tonight or early tomorrow morning. Then the bonus will go down. The good thing is they already reached softcap and good to go ahead with their plans. Added funds now will help them in becoming very strong in the field.

I saw something about bounty payment in their white paper so I guess there is. But I really don't know much about it though I don't think thats the bounty in the way your expecting. "Bounty Manager: a collection of contracts for assessing threat via Bounties" - April 2018 I believe the above is what your referring to, and basically is part of what will drive the actual Polyswarm, basicallys its the incentive for security experts to use polyswarm to submit and report security vulnerabilities and actually make use of the system. You have to remember Polyswarm isn't just a random currency crypto, its a platform for security experts to have incentive to find and share security vulnerabilities that are found to help integrate the IT security field. Or thats how i understand it, so i don't think they were referring in any way to things like social bounties or anything like that. Which i sort of like as it means they are giving away less tokens and the tokens will maintain their high value after the coins full release to exchanges. Okay, so this means people (security experts) individually can contribute in developing Polyswarm product by reporting issues/vulnerability which they found in actual environment. Thats great! Thats exactly the point. Thats exactly the difference of Polyswarm with other projects. They do have bounty but in a very different manner as you see here. I like it in this way than the social media bounties where they really dont know what they are doing by just clicking the few buttons like retweeting, etc.. |

It looks like you are planning to buy out tokens every month, thereby increasing the price for them? I'm thinking about how to do it right. Sell the tokens as soon as they enter the stock exchange. or hold them down?
We have exactly discussed this issue several times in this thread. Only thing is you have go several pages backwards to see the comments and discussion about that. In short, theoretically it will work. but in practical situation, I am clueless and most others as well. |

It is great to see a team of experts working together. To be able to do work for large clients is pretty impressive. what really caught my attention is the large clients involved. I doubt those clients would have chosen polyswarm if they weren't great at what they do. Yes, it means that you will be able to directly trade on exchanges which are connected to Forty Seven Bank infrastructure via API. we have already puzzled over this and already thought of the API. great that you want to do it that way. So I will be able to trade directly from my 47BK account on Exchanges. WOW! Is this the first bank to offer that for crypto thinking back and doing a quick google I’m not seeing any others that allow direct trading via third party markets from a Ebank account. If this works how I think it will it would be a reallly big selling point for people to utilize 47 especially if 47 can tie into some of the larger banks and take advantage of that liquidity I checked it on the first day itself to see the comparison or uniqueness of 47 bank with other such banks if exists. Could not easily get one. That actually triggered my interest to the next level to look for all relevant information regarding the project. Then no going back. I am around with this project. |
