So sad ... 45 days I'm mining DRK .... 45 days I'm believing than DRK in the new standard ... 45 days I'm holding DRK.
Yesterday, I sold my DRK to try to make some BTC on trading this week-end after I see that DRK was losing price until 15 days and buy back DRK.

Just 4h ... yes ... 4h, while I hold for 45 days ! ... so 4h hour later I press the sell button and go to bed, the DRK is doing a +50% !! Sad
I loose 500 DRK in this move ... I'm so sad ! Cry

Life is so unfair sometime !!

*violins*

Let this be a warning to all ye of wavering faith. Only true believers will be rewarded.

Yesterday I jumped on FLC board to make some quick BTCs and buy much more DRK. Fuck. Got just 126 Sad

Isn't it hot ?!

For those who masturbating on coin icons, but I prefer to masturbate on coin price and high difficulty.

https://www.hirocoin.org/forum/index.php?topic=108.0

Create a multipool that pays out in Hirocoin  - started !

Who will mine HIRO then, you morons?! It's not profitable to mine currently, everyone will mine multipool and noone will mine HIRO. Diff will fall to near zero. HIRO is not PoS. Probably you, guys, are special kind of idiots. I am out. It was a mistake to buy 23K @ 1150

1966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Qcoin] [QC] [SHA256] NO PREMINE RARE 500 coins LAUNCHED. mining begin!! on: April 17, 2014, 01:05:09 PM
What I like in this coin that it is "No premine" at all.

I think best options are: 97.5% premine or 0% premine.

Almost 10% are mine, so a bit less, LOL ;-)
1967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Qcoin] [QC] [SHA256] NO PREMINE RARE 500 coins LAUNCHED. mining begin!! on: April 17, 2014, 11:50:35 AM
Scamcoin, launched 23 minutes before ETA.

Scamcoin with instamine from dev reward halving every 5 blocks starting with 50 block reward ? He instamined 50% of total coins within seconds. This is a joke

+1. I am also joker, WTS 43.71 QCoin for 1BTC

10% instamine - FACT

launched when both Europe and the USA were asleep - FACT

block reward was 500 per block every few seconds - FACT

launched with no windows wallet  - FACT

to make the matters worse

block reward now 20 with 2.5 min

developers reduced the total number of coins from 88 million to 22 million.

darkcoin is a scam and everyone knows this. thats why it is the least profitable coin to mine by far

that is why when every altcoin increase in %50-%200 price darkcoin stuck at 10%.

we are not stupid.

there was absolutely no reason to decrease the number of coins. but devs that held hundreds of thousands of darkcoin (maybe millions) wanted to increase the value of their assets.

you know what happened? nothing. price did not even increase when they made the coins scarce. these moronic devs dont know 1 thing about economy.

price depends on DEMAND.

imbeciles.

FACT: Evan screwed up the beginning of this coin
FACT: Evan fixed it as soon as he realized what happened (within the first 24 hours)
FACT: Nobody knew the extent of the oops until about a week later when a block explorer was made.
FACT: At that point, nobody wanted to go back and start over again after a week's mining on this coin, and if it had stopped at that point, many people who support this coin so rigorously and have done so much for this coin wouldn't be here today.
FACT: If you don't like what this coin does have to offer, it's your choice, why are you here?  Do you think the rest of us don't know the history? It's written out all over the place and easy to research.  If you don't like it go away.
FACT: The reduction of coin value to 22 million was something the WHOLE community voted for (I argued against, but lost, too bad) and has NO impact on the number of coins to be created this year, nothing has changed accept a 7% reduction in rewards each year starting in January 2015.  This, overwhelmingly was what the community wanted.
FACT: I beg to differ, I'm not so sure a few of you here aren't stupid, short sighted and unwise.

Could you tell me how it was fixed? tl;dr.

I believe the main purpose of PoS is to use the open wallets to maintain the network. With minting possible from paperwallets, there would be a risk that the network could die.  I would not myself support that, unless someone can show me what the benefit would be.

There are proposals to solve this problem. In the Peercoin (PPC) community we have discussed some, but none has been implemented so far.

The trick would be that you have two wallets, a hot wallet and a cold wallet, and that you prove cryptographically the ownership of both of them so you can mint with the coin-age of both wallets combined when only one of them is online. That means: You can only mint with the coin-age of the "cold wallet" when you have the "hot wallet" open. But there is no need that he "hot wallet" would have any coins in it.

So the incentive to let the client open and mint is not affected, but the private keys of the wallet containing most of the coins can be held offline.
wouldn't be there a risk to have non existing coin minting ? or hack like that ?

IIRC it's possible to open wallet just for Minting in one of current Mintcoin clones. Probably in original mintcoin.

Yea right. Look at my past posts. I call buys and people who act quick make bank. Before you start calling people a scammer you should look into their past post history. I've never given bad advice.

So you never made a bad trade? Why aren't you the richest man on the planet?

He is. He is so rich that he has a ton of free time and has gifted us with his genius.

Yes that's it. Want me to send you a BTC just for fun?  They're just coins.

If your current fix does not work, why commits still not reverted?

Same thing happened to me. Even just a one line response to a one line post in which was agreeing that the trolls should be ignored. I literally, wrote : "I agree, you guys are right." That got deleted. It confused me because some really virulent posts remained. I am gonna go out on a limb and give the benefit of a doubt that perhaps the moderators have had a lot of requests to check up on stuff and there was some quick deleting going on. My inbox continues to get requests for free BC due to the fake post that was put up in my name by one of the trolls, so it felt a little strange. Almost like some sort of retaliation for reporting it. But that is likely a perception that I developed in the moment. It has been a long day.

I am sorry that you became a victim of great scam! Did you report it to BTT moderators?

I am wondering why this fucking exposer still not banned.

Something is wrong with block explorer?

Why you think so?

Guys this is like watching amateur hour, please take the testing of a temp fix outside the main BCT thread and please don't lose my coins in the process.  You have already lost most of their value through the DEVs general incompetence getting us to this point.

Over the long run these 200 million coins must be destroyed or they will forever be an albatross around the coin's neck, a temp fix like you are attempting now is simply not an acceptable long term solution.  If it requires a hard fork so be it.  If you can't do it find someone who can.

Blocking these coins is the one and only way to fix. there is no another way to destroy coins unless you have private key.

Then recover the data off the failed hard drive or find someone who has the coding aptitude to solve this in an elegant manner, this is a joke and the ppl attempting to solve the issue do not have the needed skills.

Leaving 20% of existing coins forever weighing down the future prospects of COMM will never allow it to rise, only fall and fail.

I already proposed HDD recovering. LOL, we are offering this service in our company in Russia ;-)

@Andrino please provide a code than bans that address. Once you provide the pull request, I'll merge and can release a new version.

It is there already... As I could see it is merged already. Can you please confirm? Only src/main.cpp changed by me.

Thanks

Adriano

Please update OP with destroyed coins info to shut all these trolls. Thanks.

@sammy007, check overview tab in your wallet
if there is some coins in stake part, then it's normal and your wallet is mining with them

as i see in your address, you have all your amount in there and that last 125627.24 coins that has been transferred from your wallet, is for staking

Stake part is empty. Why the hell stake is empty then? SOmething wrong with all these PoS coins... I don't think I hacked, but how staking can take ages?
ok, post that second address here to check it with block explorer
the one that started with CPcibj ...

http://www.coinexplorers.com/tx/e3ab6a18cf7e7b1873033cfc4a99d67dc70ca05e1c5952b6d95bdd708d4f5e02
it seems there is no transaction for this address but 120627.23 coins, i think its the stake part of yours
give it sometimes and see if this amount will back or not
do not transfer any coin for now
maybe a bug in wallet that does not show staked coin

Several hours?
