So 0.005? Like where XMR is at? LOL, why not at least 10% of it's price? Hope we will see some positive status update soon.

It would be nice if the people walletmining with CPU farms would use proxies to make it a bit less unfair for normal miners. As it is now they are hogging all the blocks AND all the inbound connections on anyone who has a listening daemon!
You can just ask them to send 10% of their coins to your wallet. Will be much more simple for them. Forget about fairness, new algos are created for unfairness. There is no another reason to launch a coin with different algo than instamine it using closed mining software.

blockchain.info is truly a web-based wallet, many would love to have something like that for xmr
Major updates must be done before it happen. It's not simple to create a dedicated wallet for everyone, currently you have to run a separate instance of simplewallet for everyone. That is not necessarily a hard blocker if you look at things as google does (i.e. scale out horizontally). You can probably run dozens if not hundreds of instances of simplewallet on one server (I see memory usage of 0.12 GB each, and a lot of that might be shared libraries), and easily spread them out on multiple servers. At least thousands of simultaneous users is not difficult, and that's pretty far in the future for such a service. This is not ideal, but it is feasible. Pain in the ass, I'd better pay to dev team to do something if I need multiple addresses in one wallet daemon. Better for everyone and especially for XMR ecosystem.

Quote from: Eal F. Skillz on Today at 12:19:24 PM Quote from: rpietila on Today at 09:18:28 AM EDIT: I don't have any distrust towards Monero devs, but there's a certain Forum that calls me Donator for the reason that I donated 10 BTC to them and none of it has been used for anything useful, as far as I know.
You know forum is spending 350k $ (up to 1m $) for the new software.
wtf 1,000,000 $ in forum software ? Shocked
So, is the rate of development on the forum software 2x, 5x, or 10x the rate of development of the bitcoin protocol? Oh my dear, $1M for forum software? Ridiculous! Like russian government tenders scam for such software dedicated to schools. Brilliant bullshit.

How GPU mining? Who can give a GPU software and method?
No GPU miner available. Is there any windows CPU miner available? Yeah, I think it's in the OP. Only solo mining, though - pool software was released, but no ops yet. I found only sources in the OP.

Really awesome stuff OracionSeis !! How long does it typically take for poloniex to receive QCN once its sent from your wallet? I've been waiting about 2 hours so far...
It can take a few hours. I haven't kept track but I guess less than 6 hours. Depends on how much you send. Does not depends on amount. Only if you sent with mixin higher than 0, first confirmation will be slow and depends on amount, because transaction pool must have enough coins to mix. Further confirmations depends on how fast network solving blocks.

Oh! Finally we can play games without spammers Much better to play games without scammers than spammers.

I don't understand.
1. If coin has dedicated "mining" thread is it allowed to post there? 2. Is it allowed to post in "local branches" of the forums like Russian, French, etc?

From the readme, I cannot find the exact way to set up the pool.
Is there a step by step guide to integrate the Coin daemon(s), Node.js v0.10+, Redis key-value store v2.6+ and libssl in Windows?
Run a virtual machine? No, lets make it a secret alchemy, we have enough amateurs in a pool business. J/k indeed. It's simple, just read guide closely. If you can't set up pool you don't need it. Solo mining is finished unless you have at least hundreds H/s.

what it mean on dwarf "Confirmed but still not on balance", why they are not on balance?
I suspect a payouts nature. IIRC you can't send batch payout with payment ids (please correct me if I am wrong). After a number of small payouts whole balance is locked and you have to wait for unlock. Then show repeats.

has anyone actually read cloakcoins 3 whitepapers? im so tried of reading whitepapers all the time and they want me to read 3... maybe someone can tell me if there is any truth to this CloakCoin is a new cryptocurrency that will feature a uniquely implemented and decentralized p2p anonymization feature via Proof of Stake protocol extensions. or if they are just blowing smoke. POS is POS (piece of shit) Proof of stake is the future. Competing to see who can create the largest money bond fire is not an ideal situation. That money doesn’t come out of no where, it is transferred from the networks users to the miners thus making the use of the network more expensive than it needs to be. SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive. But thats not the point. The question is whether this proof of stake "thing" they have invented actually provides anonymity. I doubt it highly. Proof of stake is not secure pump & dump feature used by a lot of scam/shit coins to reduce sell pressure.

QCN is going to be delisted on BITTREX on 1-AUG
So fuck bittrex. This exchange already marked as an exchange for scamcoins. We have to celebrate delisting from it.
