With 1.5.43(sp-MOD), I'm getting 50-80 watts lower than 1.5.42(sp-MOD) with some better performance on Whirlpoolx, even without being optimized for Compute 5.2. I did not recompile.

Try the version compiled by the cryptomining blog. Faster? how many watts?

I didn't tweak the parameters on compute 5.2 cards yet.

in the file:

cuda_whirlpoolx.cu

you can try to alter these values:

#define TPB 512
#define NONCES_PER_THREAD 8

tpb must be a number above 256 and dividable by 32

you can also search for __launchbounds in the file and change the ,3 to something else.

What values did you set that gave you 300 mh/s on the 980?

I get 300MHASH@Whirlpoolx on the GTX 980 with my modded kernal.

But others seems to get alot less:

http://cryptomining-blog.com/4542-how-intensity-affects-performance-in-ccminer/

btw;

10% of the vanilla hash is sp-modded..

Makes sense, no wonder all the others are AMD farms.

Yea I don't think we really needed another cpu pool :p

I think what these guys are saying that if you could decrease the automatic payout amount from the pool?

I remember first it used to payout when the total balance was 3-5 CSD, then it became 10-15 CSD, now at 20 CSD, I'm not sure if we're getting our payouts the same way.

1 BTC buy at bittrex, looks like someone is finally interested.

We have a new beta cpu pool under testing @ http://csd-cpu.nonce-pool.com

We have upgraded our pool to use Videlicet's excellent pool server, in mpos style of course.

We could always use some more workers!

How about a gpu pool bro?

It's almost like crypto entertainment seeing people trade CSD on bittrex, of placing orders for getting the best price, one after the other.

So we still have a bit before the new wallet then?

Looks like the pool is down again.

Edit: It's back.

Everything at suprnova should be fine by now

Not able to open the pool since last night, stopped mining since then.

Today was an hard day for this coin.
First the mistaken about wallet trojan(with price jumped from 6k to 3k in buy),then suprnova problems,with some miners left mining.
Hope this situation could be recovered and team will not leave. Usually this kind of external stuff,sometimes cause dev's abandoned.
3k is embarassing for only 300k max coin(with nice wallet and op).

I'll just put it this way, you get sprnova running and I'll be back. I already know the technicalities of this coin. It needs a few more bigger exchanges before the price actually stabilizes, right now it's too early to tell.

So is the POS with variable interest or how will that work?
And minimum coins for staking?

Girl problems in crypto, first for 2015.
so upset

There's a way to trade, this coin did show its potential mostly due to the community/dev. Every coin has its ups and downs, you just sold at a wrong time.

One persons loss is another persons gain.
are you saying its not over

Price isn't always the thing to look at, rather the value. Price finds a way itself.

Investing in crypto is a lot different and trickier than your average currency. In other words, there's no real 'play it safe' with crypto.

Also, if you're in a huge loss, why sell at all? Take it in a way that you lost it all, and see if it surprises you later on.

Any updates from dev?
400 sat price and 750k total coins is amusing

He's gone for Spring break leave.

my wallet can't synch too! Please dev, we need an Addnode!

addnode=37.59.27.14
addnode=46.165.208.138
addnode=75.130.163.51

Thanks it's working now, only 3 active connections, sad to see the price now
bought at 4k  Cry Huh

After losing a couple of BTC's from different coins, what I've learnt is never to purchase at or close to launch on the exchange. It's always higher in the beginning, and 98% coins really don't climb back to their initial climb. Your chance may be to hold them and dump if it ever hits bittrex.
1980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Coinshield (CSD) - Pure SHA3, Decentralized Checkpoints, CPU/GPU + PoS on: March 02, 2015, 11:20:08 PM
Same as aliman,

i have been mining. but i have not gotten one single payout. i have made a few coins. the command line says payout, and resets but i never received one single coin.

Yea that was with the old pool. The new cpu pool is better and I finally get paid out too.
