I don't think real Madrid are in any pursuit for any prolific player except kylian mbappe, but I don't think he is leaving PSG this season, but Madrid has enough talent that they don't need an additional player in their ranks, when Real Madrid went back for zidane I really thought it wasn't a way forward for the Spanish team, and now they need a more qualified Coach than anything else, Madrid won't win a major trophy with zidane in charge.
Yeah i guess mbape is not going to real madrid he is a crucial player for psg and they need him for their champions league title run as for real madrid perez seems in a difficult financial situations and all the good players in the market are really hard to sign with a small budget so perez need to find a solution quickly or real madrid team would have another season without a trophy.
As far as I remember, it seems that Real Madrid has given up trying to arrange a transfer for Mbappe in this transfer window, Mbappe himself does not seem to mind staying at Paris Saint-Germain for now, but would like guarantees of a subsequent transfer to Madrid. I don't think that the transfer of Mbappe or Haaland alone could solve all the Real Madrid game problems. Real Madrid undoubtedly has a fairly powerful squad, but still the level of this squad does not allow us to call the Madrid club the undisputed favorite of the Spanish championship and especially the Champions League, although under certain conditions and elementary luck everything is possible.

If I were Lewandowski I wouldn't go to Chelsea too. Chelsea need a good striker but this transfer rumor seem unlikely to me. Kane to Chelsea makes more sense.
I heard Lewa want to go to Real Madrid, that would be a new challenge for him after Bundesliga experience. Manchester City is also interested in him, I don't know if he fit well in Premier League though. Especially City has a very unique style of play, I can't imagine Lewa playing there with same tactics.
The Sun is a trash paper for football and overall  Grin.
I think there is a 0% chance for Lewandowski to Chelsea.
Besides on how strong he is, he is getting old, and going for Kane or Halland is a way smarter thing to do.
Yes, everything is certainly possible, but so far this transition looks unlikely, despite the seemingly desire of Lewandowski to change the championship, but Bayern does not seem to agree and would like to keep the player. However, much depends on whether Chelsea can arrange the transfer of the same Haaland. Despite Tuchel's desire to see the player in his team and Abramovich's willingness to allocate the necessary money, the sports director of Borussia stated before that the striker is part of the club's plans to continue playing there, although of course it is Borussia Dortmund and the sale of players is part of the club's strategy. And Kane seems to have already agreed a personal contract with Manchester City.
1963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 17, 2021, 11:59:09 PM
For City, Grealish might be a good option since signing Kane doesn't seem feasible.
For CR7, he already mentioned that he wants to stay in Juve. I assume he didn't find a suitable deal otherwise he left.
For Griezmann I don't mind seeing him in ATM again and surely to see him scoring and winning vs Barca and winning La Liga again, just like Suarez Tongue obviously Barca is aware of that and as much as they want money as much they want a swap deal with ATM. It is complicated there.
The more Barcelona delays the sale of players, the less it will get in the end, because all potential buyers know about Barcelona's financial problems and that the club urgently needs to solve it, so many buyers for players expect a discount in the price. Regarding Ronaldo, the situation seems to be mutual, that both sides agree to continue cooperation, especially since the club seems to agree to an extension until the end of the 2022-2023 season, and the player agreed to a salary reduction from 31 to 20 million euros. Grealish is certainly a good option for Manchester City, but Kane also seems to want to move to Pep Guardiola's team and even intends to arrange a boycott of Tottenham's training sessions for this, according to The Telegraph.

Uhm, I've read only negative posts on F1 social media about Sprint Race but honestly, I loved it but they should make it 10 laps and I it should be enough.
Tomorrow race will be enjoyable to watch as we saw Mercedes has the necessary pace to overtake RedBull ,but on the long run we saw that RedBull is getting in comfortable zone and from there is very hard to catch them and also make the overtake.
It's just that everything was for the first time and the audience and riders have not yet got used to the new format, so there must be a negative reaction as well. Tomorrow the race will be with a much larger number of laps, so you can look at the real progress of the Mercedes car in real combat conditions with a change of tires. However, Hamilton himself did not speak negatively about the new format and even said that he liked the format of the weekend, despite the fact that he lost one position in the sprint result. But it is undoubtedly clear that Hamilton can and should try to break into the first place in the race as quickly as possible, because today Lewis did not take any risks and abandoned his attempts to break ahead after the first laps.
1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 17, 2021, 11:41:35 PM
Real Madrid is in a crisis with the money. As i have heard they are in huge debts and are cutting of big wages so i think this will last for 1-2 season until they make a lot of profit to buy big players. Mbappe wont join probobly Real Madrid because either PSG will ask for an outrages fee. But i heard even that the PSG owner said that they dont want to sell Mbappe at all.
Barcelona also has an equally big financial crisis, and maybe even a bigger one, the soap opera with the signing of a new contract by Messi is a vivid confirmation of this, but the Catalan club is nevertheless trying to be active in the transfer market. There was even information that the Barcelona players were unhappy that the club forced them to sign agreements on salary cuts, but at the same time they were signing new players with potentially higher wages than the current players. Real Madrid has a fairly competitive squad, but strengthening is certainly necessary and the absence of Real Madrid players in the Spanish national team at the last European Championship leads to certain reflections.

I voted for poor Arsenal but everybody know they can't win a championship. Grin
I wish we see more competitive Gunners but there is always another team that dominate the league. Manchester City is my favorite for championship, they are the strongest team by far in England. Chelsea won Champions League but their league performance was quite poor. Manchester United was the closest team but even they couldn't put pressure on City. I expect a similar scenario this season. City is favorite, United is the team that can compete, Liverpool and Chelsea won't compete all season long, Tottenham and Arsenal are another floppers.
I will agree about Arsenal, because it is not clear at the expense of what reserves the team can claim the title. I will agree about Arsenal, because it is not clear at the expense of what reserves the team can claim the title. Manchester City will undoubtedly claim the title, but I think that this season there must be a team that will be a serious competitor to Guardiola in the fight for the title, and maybe even more than one. I think that Liverpool should have a more stable game this season and please their fans more. It will also be interesting to see how Tuchel will build Chelsea's game from the very beginning of the season. Also, the club's management and fans will expect a lot from Manchester United and specific titles.

Maignan, Giroud, Brahim Diaz and Ballo Tourč. Pioli's AC Milan continues to expading its market campaign in view of next season: in the next hours the Spanish striker and the Monaco fullback should put their signature on the new contract, but that's not the end of it.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan would also be looking for an attacking midfielder, a replacement for Calhanoglu and another striker: the main names on the grocery would be those of Nikola Vlasic of CSKA Moscow and Kaio Jorge of Santos.
Didnt expect such a quick reaction from Milan managment to buy so fast so many replacements. They acted really good so far. But i think they will need to buy a really big superstar so they can compete for the scudeto and to try and get far in the champions league. Pioli is a good coach and will make an amazing tactical team like last season when no one expected that Milan would lead the league for so long
It all depends on the level of the budget for the current season and whether this budget includes the purchase and high salary of a new superstar Wink Milan made quite a lot of progress last season and even claimed the league title for a long time, so such a reaction and current transfers show that the club intends to consolidate all this, has serious ambitions for the new season and intends to develop further. By the way, a potential superstar, the champion of EURO 2020 and the best player of the tournament was already in the Milan club, but the club itself did not want to pay the requested amount as a salary and Donnaruma moved to Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent Wink
1968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 14, 2021, 11:59:13 PM
I don't see anything wrong with the fact that the weaker teams would compete at the qualifying stages and show everything they are capable of, and only the really strong would go to the final stage of the tournament. You have to agree that it is very illogical when in the final stage of the tournament there are several teams that are clearly much weaker than those teams that are not allowed in this round simply by quotas.
Doesn't this violate sporting principles?
I don't see anything wrong also but FIFA would give a chance to weaker teams to show their performance vs top teams. There was surprises sometimes. Imagine seeing Nation "where does it exist in this planet?" reaching advanced stage and the feeling of its people. I know it is unpleasant for most of us who want to see top teams fighting in late stages and not from the beginning. That's why many fans like way more EURO than World Cup Wink
It's just that two principles collide here, when I would like as much coverage as possible in geographical terms, but at the same time, all the strongest teams should participate. It is impossible to combine all this perfectly, so we have to make compromises when certain quotas are allocated to the continents and the national teams of countries are selected already within these quotas. Of course, you can expand the number of participants by adding new teams, which UEFA and FIFA have been doing recently, but you should not do it indefinitely, because it destroys the integrity of the tournament and its prestige. On the other hand, a larger number of national teams allows you not to leave out sufficiently strong national teams that have not passed the selection. In any case, the formula for holding competitions is not a rigid system and only life itself and the audience's interest shows the correctness of the decisions made.
1969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 14, 2021, 11:50:41 PM
Perhaps it will be so, perhaps Ronaldo will end his career in Juventus, after all, age plays a big role in football. And I doubt Ronaldo will go to play in China or America in pursuit of money. Juventus is a good club, and with Alegre the results can be very good, I don't know if they can compete with dignity in the Champions League, but they can become champions of Italy.
Italian clubs rarely ever do good in champions league anyway, at certain point they were not so bad but in over 10 years they haven't won the UCL so far, which was also the period where Juventus became champions back to back so many times. Before that Inter had one and milan had few, but that was looong time ago. So I think same will go on, we are going to see in fighting at Serie A for sure but no Italian team will be doing any good in the UCL that is just not going to happen.
However with the additions of new names, and changing stuff in Serie A we could maybe see some more competition between teams, I do not think that it will be a clear winner, when you look at teams now, even with Ronaldo staying at Juventus, can you say who will be champions? I think there are 3 even maybe 4 teams (realistically 3) that may end up being champions.
But still, when Ronaldo moved to the Italian championship and Juventus signed a contract with him, it was clearly implied that both sides wanted to win the Champions League, and winning the Scudetto in Italy was taken for granted. Although, of course, increased competition in the fight for the title, in principle, should increase the overall level of clubs, and therefore increase the chances of winning international titles. Juventus has not won the Champions League for a long time and with the arrival of Ronaldo, with his experience of winning, he hoped for a quick achievement of the cherished goal. But the goal has not yet been achieved and the team was left even without the title of champion of Italy and hardly got into the number of participants of the Champions League, so it will be interesting to see the results of Juventus in the new season with or without Ronaldo.

This will probobly the worst olympic games in history of olympic games with no crowd,i still dont understand why japanese people are so scared. This should be transfered to another country. This covid protocols are really strict as i heard even the players cant watch each other as i heard
It is not so simple, after all countries are given years in order to organize the games and Japan is doing this while in the middle of the pandemic, as much as it pains me to say this the games need to be made smaller, the Olympic games makes the host to lose money and to build a bunch of facilities that may not see much use after it, so if we want more countries to want to host them then they need to be more profitable and this can only be achieved by reducing the number of installations that have to be constructed and reducing the sports that are part of the competition.
If you move the Olympic Games to another country, then you need to postpone them for another year and of course no one will go for such a thing. Also, an increase or decrease in the number of Olympic sports is approved for the years ahead with the participation of interested sports federations and budgets and revenues are formed for this, as well as the participation of sponsors. On the one hand, it is clear that the Japanese authorities want to finally hold the Olympic Games and at least minimize losses, because not holding the games will bring even greater losses. On the other hand, we have to reckon with public opinion, which is not at all enthusiastic about the competition in the ongoing pandemic.

I disagree with you, Greizmann earns himself close to 800k weekly and i do not believe he is forcing a move. I think Barcelona are just desperately trying to reduce their wage cap (as authorized by la liga laws) so that Messia is allowed to sign a new contract. Another important factor is that Barcelona are offering Griezmann and other players for sale which means they cannot dictate selling fee.
I think Greizmann should return to Atletico in a swap as Barcelona wants Atletico Saul, time will tell
Well, Greizman might want that or perhaps return to an English team Chelsea perhaps but then, one thing I know for sure is; Maybe Greizman didn't meet up with what was expected of him in Barcelona, following his performance back at Atletico Madrid but then, how can you do so well playing in the shadows of Lionel Messi,,, just how can that happen. Neymar Jnr didn't survive it. Even when you do your best, it just won't be good enough. The guy is honoured by seating on the bench alone talk more of being on the pitch. You can only do better or well when your in another team. I really hope he gets to live @Greizman.
I also think that Griezmann's return to Atletico Madrid is a bad idea. Also, according to the idea, the matter may not be limited to one sale of Griezmann, because this deal will not solve all the problems with financial fair play and we need to sell more expensive, and therefore competitive players. All this can affect the competitiveness of the team, and I am not sure that Messi himself would like to weaken the team a lot for the sake of signing a contract and playing in a team that does not claim anything. The most important thing is that the time for solving financial issues is getting less and less every day and La Liga is not going to make concessions on this issue.
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 14, 2021, 11:20:46 PM
I still dont understand why PSG even signed donnarumma this season.Kaylor Navas was one of the best players in the entire team of PSG some amazing saves this year.I know he is starting to get old,but still i think this is really early to get a new goalkeeper. But still Donnarumma is still very young and this is still a big signing from them
This is bad news for Keylor Navas, because the best player of EURO 2020 with a big contract, who did not want to pay Milan, is unlikely to sit on the bench. It seems that a similar story is being repeated, which was between Navas and Thibaut Courtois at Real Madrid. On the one hand, Navas 'mistakes in the semifinals can be said to have decided the fate of Paris Saint-Germain and did not allow them to get to the Champions League final for the second year in a row, on the other hand, we should not forget that it was Navas' saves that also allowed the team to get to the semifinals. Therefore, it is not entirely clear how the bosses of the Paris club are going to solve the issue of playing time for Donnarumma and Navas.

Dont worry about pandemic. There were alredy IIHC 2021 and Euro football 2020. There spectatora on the stadions and it wasnt announced that number of covid cases increased during these events.
There are increases and outcomes are not assessed fully. The Euro ended a few days ago and you will have to wait about one month to see what will happen in European nations.
The general vaccination progresses in the Europe are better than in many of Asian nations and other parts of the world. The Olympics will be the event for the whole world, so it will bring more risk of infections, spreads and mutations during and after the Olympics.
We must understand that no matter what measures are taken, but when there is a movement of such a large number of people across the border, there will undoubtedly be a risk in any case, especially if not only athletes, but also spectators are still allowed. When holding EURO 2020, UEFA insisted on the presence of a certain number of spectators at the stadium and those who did not agree were deprived of the opportunity to hold it. It just turns out that Japan is not satisfied with the level of risk of an increase in morbidity, which is undoubtedly present during such large competitions. And the IOC does not have as much influence on the organizers as UEFA, and therefore we have what we have, that is, potentially holding the Olympics without any spectators at all.

Borussia Dormund player, Jadon Sancho have completed his Manchester United medical and will soon become a Manchester United player within the next few hours according to report. He however scored 8 goals for Dormund last season.
The player will be moving back to the Premier League, four years after leaving Manchester City for Dormund as a teenager.  I pray he transfer to Manchester United should be a blessing.
Good deal for Manchester United. The red devils had been in the hunt for the player for two seasons now,it's a good news that they've finally gotten their man.Sancho is a player that will add more depth to Man-u's attack, helping them to score more goals.Welcome to England 'Sancho'.
It's just that Manchester United continues to strengthen the team before the season and the purchase of Jaydon Sancho fits perfectly into this. This season, the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will increase even more and the finals or all places except the first will no longer be so favorably perceived by the club's management and fans. Borussia Dortmund continues in its old spirit, that is, it again arranges a sale of its leaders, when having sold Sancho, then Julian Brandt will most likely be sold to Lazio, and Haaland can also come to England to Manchester City or Chelsea, where, according to rumors, Abramovich is ready to allocate up to 170 million euros for this.
1975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 13, 2021, 11:37:50 PM
Yes, star players are important in any team. But having Ronaldo, Neymar, and Mbappe in PSG won't be a nice idea. Because all of them will want to be best player or highest goal scorer. They can't play without conflict, which will result to lack of cooperation within the players. And a team without cooperative mindset can't produce any positive outcome.
Just for this, there is a figure of the head coach of the team, who should organize a normal working psychological microclimate in the team and so that each player does not feel deprived and benefits the club in every match. Another question is whether Mauricio Pochettino will be able to successfully cope with such a difficult situation and whether he will be a sufficient authority for such star players. However, let's not forget about Ramos, who did a good job of being a captain in Real Madrid stuffed with stars. However, so far all this is out of the realm of fiction and the most likely scenario is that Ronaldo remains in Italy and at Juventus. If, of course, Juventus still wants to win the Champions League title Wink

England have been the underdog national team for the many games they have played for the Euro and the world cup. As long as I've been a football fan it's the first time I've seen England reach the final and yes they failed.
Me, too. And from this fact, England made a good achievement in EURO 2020. Rarely saw England in the final match, but in this tournament, they can reach the final stage. Yes they failed to win the trophy, but at least England can experience the final match in a EURO 2020. England players and the coach can take big learning from this tournament. This can be a strong motivation for the next competition, so actually it is not a too bad result for England.
Yes, England showed a wonderful result at EURO 2020, but of course it's always a shame to stop one step away from the title, especially if this title is historical. It was undoubtedly psychologically easier for Italy, because before that Italy had already won the European Championship once and had been in the finals relatively recently, I'm not talking about the World Championships. The England team can undoubtedly be proud that for the second major tournament in a row, the team finishes at the decisive stages of the tournaments and if the team continues in the same spirit, there will still be chances for the title. Just do not forget that only one wins the title and the element of luck can often be crucial.
1977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 13, 2021, 11:10:51 PM
What I do not understand about this news is the fact that if ATM is not willing to pay a lot for Saul and that is the problem, then why are they considering Griezzman who has an insane amount of high salary? If they are capable of paying for Griezzman then they could pay for Saul as well, if they can't pay for Saul then they can't pay for Griezzman as well. This is why I am not sure if this is really a good situation to be in, I mean it doesn't make sense to have this transfer.
What I assume could maaaaybe happen, which I still doubt, would be Barcelona getting Saul and paying him fully, while ATM pays some percentage of Griezzmans salary while Barcelona still pays like maybe 20-30% of it? That would maybe make sense, both Barcelona gets rid of a huge salary and then ATM is getting a better player in return, that way both sides would actually win.
A lot depends on whether Griezmann himself wants to return to Atletico Madrid and whether Atletico Madrid itself will be able to pay the player's huge salary. All these stuffing of information about transfers from Barcelona sometimes contradict each other, because at the same time there was another information recently that Barcelona does not want to sell Griezmann and Griezmann himself does not want to leave the club. I would also rather believe more of this information than information about the sale of a player, but the protracted negotiations on the extension of the contract with Messi can really evoke thoughts about the reality of such a scenario. By the way, it seems that Manchester City has abandoned the idea of buying Griezmann, focusing on other candidates.

"One World Currency" that will be used in a "One World Government"
Disagree on both points and I hope it never comes near true or we likely have that fear realized as war and resistance to this possibility.   I dont think it is probable or possible even, we will continue to have a multitude of currencies of all types FIAT and commodity based with BTC as a security based token thats especially useful for online remote transactions.   Just being established in its own corner respected in that sector of commerce would be gigantic and worth trillions in commerce done.  Over reaching for absolute dominance reflects the past and the saturation of dollar world wide when it should never have been so prevalent in a unilateral way its best to allow a variety not attempt some perfect singular currency, I believe its a fallacy to expect or aim for that.
This may well happen, but for a very short time, and the reasons that led to this, as well as the consequences, will not be as rosy as the supporters of such an idea are trying to present it to us. The system of a "One world currency" and a "One World Government" will in any case be unstable and will not last long, because it does not take into account the heterogeneity of the political and economic development of all states that exist on the planet Earth. The colonial system seems to have sunk into the past with torments, but people who promote "world" ideas themselves do not understand that they are trying to revive this not the most pleasant and beautiful ghost of the past.
1979  Economy / Economics / Re: Risk of Inflation in Economy. on: July 12, 2021, 11:47:10 PM
right, with the increase in oil prices, of course, the transportation sector will be the most affected, while everything related to the distribution of goods uses transportation, so this will trigger an increase in all prices. unless, for example, electrical energy that has been developed can replace it, so that it can replace the role of oil
Any increase in the crude oil prices will have far reaching impact, because it is being used in almost all the sectors - transportation, power generation, industries, heating (natural gas prices are also linked to crude oil prices), chemicals and plastic manufacturing, asphalt.etc. And if we check the prices for the last 12 months, it can be seen that the rate of brent crude has gone up from $40 per barrel to $75 per barrel. The prices have almost doubled. And from the historical perspective, the increase in crude oil prices is being regarded as one of the early signals of worsening inflation.
You will also compare with negative oil prices and get a catastrophe in inflation in general  Grin Please let's not forget that oil prices are a separate, slightly non-market story, when prices collapse and rise several times and even go into the negative side, so I don't quite agree with oil prices as arguments about inflation. To some extent, I agree with you, but the situation with the pandemic is so unique that not all past indicators can show the correct and most importantly the real picture of what is happening. When you print a lot of unsecured money, you will get inflation anyway. Another question is that in the current conditions, the tools of governments are not so extensive and the main task is to try to minimize the negative consequences later.
1980  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and middle class as a mentality on: July 12, 2021, 11:36:48 PM
I concur. As I saw on Facebook, he teaches the beggar how to code (how to create his first app) and then gives him a laptop so he may continue. As a result, he has already uploaded his first program on Google Play, and he now refers to himself as a developer. He claims that it will be approved by Google Adsense in a few months, and he will earn from it. Financial assistance from the government is only temporary unless you have a strong desire to start a small business so that you can earn additional money.
Cash handouts do a great deal of harm in the long run. But as far as I can see, a lot of governments are distributing more and more such handouts nowadays, giving the excuse of COVID. And even those who oppose such handouts in principle will find it hard to reject such payments. In the United States, the Biden regime has unveiled additional spending plans worth more than $6 trillion. Anyone in their right mind would oppose these measures, because it will wreck the economy with high taxes and inflation. But at least in the public, there is hardly any opposition.
If there is such an opportunity, then why not do it Grin Just remembered Janet Yellen, who used to have a negative attitude to the economic policy of borrowing, now she is not averse to doing it. It is not necessary to treat such distributions so tragically, if they are of an isolated nature. In any case, governments need to somehow support the economic activity of the population and the state in the conditions of a pandemic and lockdowns, as well as simply help poor people and the middle class survive, and cash handouts are not the worst way to achieve their stated goals. In any case, the Republican minority is also not against cash handouts in principle, and this issue sometimes becomes a hostage of the political struggle between two competing parties.
