But they were really unlucky in the Copa America and the World Cup also. They've finally managed to make it.

Messi scored 4 goals and made 5 assists in this tournament which was a great effort. He shared the most scorer title with two other players. And he was at the top in the top assists standings. He really deserved this title I believe.

I don't know what this Copa America situation has anything to do with Barcelona situation. Don't get me wrong I am sure Messi is very very happy right now, and maybe he didn't want to renew his contract or go to another team before the cup was over, he waited until this cup was over that’s possibility. However his winning doesn't really change what his situation will be, or even if he lost it would probably not change it.

I feel like it was always his intention to declare his next move after the cup no matter what the result was, and the win doesn't really impact that. This dude is a big time Barcelona guy who has been there for over 20 years now, nearly 25 years, I really think that it would be not only surreal to see him in another jersey, but also it would be a very difficult life for him to move somewhere else, other players can because they move all the time but this dude played in Barcelona for 25 years, he is not used to moving around and I think it could be very difficult for him.

I think Barcelona are just desperately trying to reduce their wage cap (as authorized by la liga laws) so that Messia is allowed to sign a new contract. Griezman made a bad decision to leave Atletico Madrid and joined Barcelona. He could become a legend in A Madrid and has a better career there rather than struggling to find a solid position in Barcelona squad.
