Why on earth would a developer need keys to look at the source? It's open source and completely available to look at - https://github.com/MsCollec/sync

It is for the same reason a dev would release a ponzi shitcoin.

Anything to perpetuate the scam.

This is part of the bittrex delisting announcement

Below you will find markets that we're removing on Monday, June 2nd.  If you'd like to see them stick around, the best thing to do is spread the word and get the market active again.

BTCTalkcoin: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-BCC

After a market is deleted, you will have 14 days to remove your funds before we shut down the wallet (provided the blockchain permits it.)

Removals for May 30th: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623709.msg6915764

I would help trying to convince them to keep BTCtalkcoin if the dev made a post.

In fairness to the unsuspecting traders, the coin should be delisted because the airdrop should be considered MIA/stolen.

Was the amount of confirmations on those transaction the same as the height of the last block?

NO...  the transaction (Withdrawal from Poloniex) had 0 confirmations...   Undecided

same problem ,my 2 transactions from poloniex have 0 confirmation

Isn't trusting a closed source, centralized, pipedream, unproven, shitcoin great !??

Just sent 4.20 coins to everyone on the list. All valid addresses should have been paid and no doubles. I guess at this point though we have to assume Hippie Tech is correct and BCCdev is a scumbag.

Too bad it took 123 pages to get to this point.

Hippie Tech's constant barrage and the constant price drop put me into a deep depression. My doctor prescribed me some medication that kind of helps but he recommended not to continue the activity that was causing me to be depressed/suicidal.

Hippie Tech never let up even after he saw that the premine was still intact. I cant emotionally continue. This is the last message from me you will ever see. Feel free to hard fork 42 coin.

LMASSOFF...  You should lay off the thermal paste fumes.

Without documented proof, no one will believe you or any of the other cyptsy inhouse shitcoin devs.

When was the last payment anyone got from the dev?

I never got paid from official airdrop. I had to go on freenode IRC #BTCtalkcoin and ask Rawdawg to send them to me manually, and that was just once...

Don't use IRC unless you can mask your IP address.

ROTFF YES AND THEN NOW HE'S AN EMPLOYEE?? WHAT A JOKE!!!  Cheesy

He always was "on staff". How else could he get away with such disresptectful behaviour. eg. begging, phishing, rudeness ect.

Then theres the still yet to be fully explained charity drive when he revealed his true ties to Cryptsy. Here you can see him lying about being a recent add on.

use qrk algo...x11 no use for gpu miners to go up against asic and fpga. x11 is now not the best choice for normal gpu miners.

Doing pretty good on X11 with GPU, personally.

How would you know if you could be doing better on qrk algo. Instead of 200gh fpga and possibly x11 asic farms you would only be against gpu miners.

Even if there are only fpga right now, why should gpu miners mine against them.

750ti are great on x11 2.2MH/s for 120 euro, lmao that's cheap, i don't think fpga can do better for now

and the cudaminer dev said 750ti will reach 2.8 with the next update

Well it's quite possible x11 asics are running at 1gh from what i've heard. So that's a few 750ti right there. Electricity of course is another serious consideration.

The XC dev more or less acknowledges there is a serious problem with releasing x11 coins now.

Better to use qrk or scryptN

Even scrypt is better since everyone can get gridseeds if they want ....

The huge 300gh mining entities that jump around at once could be botnets but a lot more people are considering x11 asics are here now.

Although for now could pull the 280x out and put some nvidia in, the board takes both.  What is the power draw on those must be quite low.

where is the proof that FPGA is actually able to achieve these speeds, i have yet to find any relivent info about it being possible, just speculation and rumours....

Those 300 ghash farms are too big and there are too many of them. If they are not asics, its a hashpower exploit.

EDIT

They are UHOs. Unidentified Hashing Objects. Shocked
1970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BTCtalkcoin [TALK] - Pure POS - Multipool Ready! - AirDrop Has Arrived on: May 29, 2014, 02:41:01 PM
Hi all BTCtalk people on the list,

Last night/this morning I think everyone on the list should have received at least 3.14 coins (some near the top of the list probably received 2 or 3x that). These weren't related to the airdrop, they were my own personal coins (I'm not part of dev team). I've heard the devs are having some trouble with the airdrop, so I just wanted to write a script to see how difficult it would be to send coins to 1148 addresses. It took a few hours and several attempts, but I think I got everything sorted out.

For anyone interested (hopefully devs are interested in sending coins to everyone), here is the script that I used to send them all out:
http://pastebin.com/PmQmCgFf
It actually only ended up being 60 lines of python, and that is with excessive commenting and print statements.

And here is a list that was output by the script, showing everyone on the list and their tx id:
http://pastebin.com/gVbMBgAK

I hope you all enjoyed the pi...and please let me know if you have any questions or anything Smiley

Thanks !

If it wasn't obvious before, it should be now. lol  The technical difficulties were faked.. just as half the list on the air drop.

THIS COIN IS A SCAM.

I'm not ready to say it's a scam yet, but now the devs clearly have the tools necessary to send coins to all addresses on "the list", so there shouldn't be anymore "technical difficulties". If we don't all start getting regular airdrop payments soon, then maybe we can call it a scam.

Maybe you're unfamiliar with Hanlon's razor:
"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

Or maybe you prefer the Napoleon version:
"Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence."

Incompetent ? Most definitely as he is not the guy who coded this.

Its the story of the .2 BTC shitcoin ! Tongue

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=593562

Why is no one talking about the paid IPO ?

The newb laced air drop should have been enough. I'm amazed to see that so many remain optimistic.

The question is do we need a mulipool or not and how much we're ready to pay for it.

I'm not convinced that a multipool is right for this coin.  NXT has a multipool and it does not get much interest, nor did it have any affect on the price.  Seems like these pools only help out the coins that have no real features to offer and the pool is the only thing driving interest.

I would think the 1.5MM coins would be better used promoting the coin in the various ways already mentioned.

They want multi pools because they want the control.

They decide what you mine and for how long.

They decide how much you will earn.

You got PWN'd as soon as you added the shitcoin's sig to your profile.

I don't understand some of the comments on here.
If you believe in Capitalism then this is the place for you, if you believe in Communism this is not the place for you.

They are both pyramid schemes created so each side would have its "boogie man". The fascists are the puppet masters.

Shitcoins such as this one, are no different.

Quote from: Jean-Luc
It is not a clone, at least not a clone of the recent code. The code is obfuscated (probably proguard?) and I don't have time to dig further, but seems to be using a lot of third party libraries that we [Nxt] don't use. Uses jetty, and json-simple, but also jackson and mapdb, no H2.

The developer has definitely borrowed ideas from Nxt, but probably not much from the current implementation.

As for the speculations that it may be BCNext himself - not his style, remember the original Nxt code did not use any other libraries (even the jetty dependency was added later by CfB) and was a single file. It is more likely a good java developer who started from the original Nxt 0.4.x code like I did, but then continued his own way into a completely different implementation. But all this may have been intentional, to confuse people - so the conspiracy theories will keep going on.
