Just want to say i got one of the bitcoin stands and it really is of good quality, got it awhile back in mj's mega raffle but didnt know you made them.
Does it have to come from a site or can you do custom work. Might be interested in a 3d genesis coins logo or something in the near future.
You're welcome, those stands I downloaded from thingiverse did come out really nice on my printer. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I can definitely design logos and custom items, when you're ready to have it designed let me know what you're looking for and we'll go from there.

So was this actually a thread where you were trying to find someone to peel the two coins (I would expect them to have shipped already) or was this a platform to announce a new coin?
A little confused since the actionable item seems quite easy to take care of and it doesn't sound like anything has been decided yet on this thread.

I am sorry for my fast reaction, it just never happened to me that a coin got stolen out of an enveope before.
As I can't prove who has stolen the coin I decided to give TMAN a refund, even if I have a bad feeling about the whole deal. From now on I will only ship them in a jiffy bag, what I did not do before with smaller Casascius coins (0.1 /0.5).
I think that's a good idea going forward. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) For reference, only items I ship that are very thin & below $25 in value go into a plain envelope (usually O-rings/free items like smoothie has done). All other items go into bubble mailers for which I have a few sizes on hand. Everything besides the plain envelopes gains tracking, items over $100 are usually always insured, items over ~$200 are insured + registered. I would also recommend wrapping the item in bubble wrap/padding before putting it in the bubble mailer as I've seen the bubble mailer "bubbles" cause scratching on the air-tite during long journeys to me.

This coin was stolen in the mail. Please post here if someone offers it to you.
That's some terrible news, was it shipped registered/insured with tracking?

I'd be willing to do this similar to the previous video provided for clearing up my prior issue. I'll set up a little better this time and have a cleaner video.

While going through my Trump mugs, I made an unexpected discovery: A BTC mug! It is numbered 10/10. I was thinking of charging $40 which includes shipping. Or, maybe I auction it off.. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I like the auction idea and wouldn't mind bidding on a BTC mug. Please let me know when/if it starts! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Thanks for the information killyou72. I can't guarantee that all air-tites are in immaculate condition as they are subject to shipping movement when they are shipped to me and when they are in transit to you. Most of them are in great shape but some definitely aren't immaculate and may have minor imperfections. I'm not sure what could be done to rectify that from the air-tite manufacturers end, but I'd be willing to scour my air-tites and try shipping you the best air-tite I have left if you wanted. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Sorry to be the christmas grinch .... but I would imagine that you wouldnt be able to bank on the storage levels quoted, as being the storage levels that are actually achieveable.
So many fake usb drives out there, that will report a level of storage when connected, and will give the appearance of taking data, but are merely just adding entries to FAT tables rather than actually storing data. Ebay is rife with them, I assume Ali is as well (seeing as the ebay ones generally come from China originally).
I would go for the lowest storage quoted and save some money. If they are actually legit then you havent lost out
I imagine most want them for their collectability, rather than their capacity. Thats how this should be approached
Whoever does organise a group buy needs to give themselves a disclaimer, and those partiticipating need to accept this. Hope I am wrong though
I agree with your sentiments and think the lowest possible capacity would be the best. I'm very weary about plugging cheap USB flash drives into my computer without it being sandboxed. Also, I've been given 32GB labeled drives that tested to only 8GB in h2testw on multiple occasions. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) With that said, the design looks great!

I'm thinking they got out of the game before a request came through similar to Coinbase and Bitcoin was most likely not producing profits for Circle. Although, I don't think that puts them in the clear for not getting a future request.
Not exactly sure why the CEO had to take an anti-bitcoin approach with the announcement, but I'd suspect it has a lot to do with their future projects and investments being targeted towards other things.
