Got mine in and they are hefty!   Smiley

What metal are these made out of if you don't mind me asking?
1862  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD] Ravenbit NODE Bronze Physical Bitcoins on: January 11, 2017, 08:36:32 PM
Arrakeen,
Awesome and thanks for the pics and confirmation that it arrived so quick!  I'm glad you like it and wish I had extra pouches and more coins to sell!  Smiley

FYI, using a lint roller will clean up the pouch if you want to remove those microfibers but I'm sure it only shows due to the lighting/quality of the right photo.   Cool

Got my coin in, it looks great and I liked the packaging as well.  I'll post some pictures sometime this week.  Smiley
1865  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Rare 2oz .999 Ag Coinographic 25LTC "Bull" coin on: January 09, 2017, 08:43:33 PM
I remember reading that there was the odd Coinographic coin which was missed and not cleared out. If the LTC was still loaded then it could potentially be worth more, although there is still a risk the manufacturer might clean it out later.

I'd recommend any current/future buyer OR seller of Coinographic coins to NOT COUNT the funding value.  Even if the coin is to be peeled immediately, this ex-manufacturers coins should be considered 100% compromised by the maker.  Anyone trying to get a premium for loaded Coinographic coins doesn't have the best interest of the buyer in mind.
1866  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Keyois Capsule 1st edition: Tamper-evident cold-storage crypto-piggybank on: January 09, 2017, 04:09:33 AM
Unless otherwise noted (see the gold tubing centerpiece), everything cost $100 US (in btc).

I like the idea of the magnets but I couldn't find a solid rod magnet that was the right size so these little stacked magnets fit in the centerpiece chamber. Because of that however they are not as straight as I would like, they move around a little bit.

Might be fun to hunt for with a magnetometer or something.

Sounds good, the one with the magnets is a really unique piece.  Is the price for the gold tubing centerpiece listed?

Wow, the bars look great and they are so shiny I think I can see MJ and his camera in the reflections.   Grin

Definitely, now they should be useful for others and vipgelsi informed me via PM he got it working.  Smiley

Interested in the replica and will be watching.  If the same user doesn't win both coins will the replica be sold separately?   Grin
The replicas go for 3-5$ on aliexpress or alibaba. I could get you some if interested is high enough.

Sounds good, it would have to be graded like MJ's where it seems like it's a real Sol Noctis since that's what gives it the special quality.   Cool

All coins have been sold and there is no foreseeable restocking.  Thanks Arrakeen and I hope you enjoy the last one from my supply!  Smiley

This thread will be left open until confirmation of the last coin being received.

Thanks and I have no doubts about the purity.  Can you tell what the stamp says or show an enlarged picture of the stamped region?

I will do the research if I can see the stamp enlarged.  Smiley

There is not a Maker's Mark stamp, only purity and weight on both sides.  Here are some zoomed in photos:
IMAGES

Greatly appreciate the photos!  I do see there is no Makers stamp and I'll do my best to research these tonight and try to find out the main places where similar pieces were poured.  Hopefully I can get back to you with something conclusive and I'll pick it up if I can attach some history to it.  Smiley

Beautiful coin, especially since only 800 were minted. I'm sure you'll get a nice payout for it! I can't bid but I wish you luck!

Definitely, if I win this coin I would like it bubble wrapped and shipped extremely carefully.  Smiley

1878  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Serious] How long does the paper in a casascius stay legible? on: January 07, 2017, 03:18:40 AM
Is there a consensus on which paper is the best to print a private key with?

I noticed AT101ET mentioned "acid free paper" which may be better than the standard laser office paper.  I've made a couple DIY coins and wouldn't mind picking up some better paper for my laser printer for keys under holograms.
