1962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 08, 2019, 08:14:57 PM
Firstly, one of the main reasons Bitcoin has risen in value so dramatically is its scarcity. There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoins. This tendancy will continue in the future for sure. Secondly, international payments can be time-consuming and surprisingly expensive.Bitcoin has fees too, but Bitcoin often offers lower fees than many foreign transfer institutions. Lastly, everyone loves gold, but is gold the best investment you can make today? We are living in a digital world. Bitcoin represents a new digital era. I think that in the future Bitcoin will be known as the digital gold and i think investing in bitcoin is one of the wisest choices I have ever made.

Having 21 million pieces is actually a very nice illusion. As you know, usually 8 bits are used for Bitcoin. In this case, 21 million * 100 million should be evaluated. As such, there are many ways that Bitcoin's price can go.

21.000.000 * 100.000.000= 2 100 000 000 000 000.
I think there's a misunderstanding, I think @bigmick44 is saying that bitcoin has a fixed supply that is 21 million and where did you get that 100 million.
The current mined bitcoin is around 18 million bitcoin. Let's wait until all bitcoins are mined and the price should be exhilarating.
We do have still a chance to invest in bitcoin specially that all of the bitcoin isn't mined yet, The price of bitcoin should not be on the peak.

Calculation based on if Bitcoin price reach 1 million USD. So, 100 sats = 1 $
Then if we are going to use Bitcoin as a payment, we will do it with sats value usually. Because how many times in a year do you pay $ 8000 at once?
So if we use satoshi's soon, we can't think that there are only 21 million BTC in market.

1964  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading Platform on: October 07, 2019, 06:23:20 PM
Hey I am Robertayers. I am a new investor in online trading. I am looking for a new platform to invest. So, the platform has to be trusted And it has it's won coin. So that I can buy this and in the future it's value become increase like bitcoin. Please anyone can help me and suggest me looking for a new trading platform?

You're in the very good place.
But you should investigate which coin do you invest.

The most relaible platforms: coinmarketcap.com / coingecko.com
You can find all coins information. If you find a good coins in there, you can find also where you can buy.
Look at the projects and platforms then find which exchange you can buy.
1965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can crypto Insurance be a next big thing? on: October 06, 2019, 03:57:44 PM
Crypto crime rate has increased significantly. An article in Cointelegraph stated that criminals have stolen around $4.5B worth of digital currency in the first half of 2019 alone.[1]
"The growth in popularity of cryptocurrencies has, in many ways, outpaced the infrastructure built to support it." [2]
Exchanges which control most of the trading volume and also act as a storage place for cryptocurrency have become an easy target of hackers. So, could insurance be a promising sector in cryptocurrency or there are drawbacks to it? What could be the challenges for both the insurer and the insured?

[1]https://cointelegraph.com/news/cyber-criminals-netted-43b-from-crypto-related-crime-in-2019-study
[2]https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-insurance-a-promising-sector-despite-caution-of-major-players

What do you mean by Insurance? I don't think this is possible if you call for personal crypto wallets. If this happens, decentralization is over. But if you mean exchanges, many exchanges have already worked on this.

And then we can imagine that the results will be very exciting. Will you explain the results with statistical data? It will be the guide for the next events.
1967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 ways to help you not be emotionally dominated when trading cryptocurrencies on: October 05, 2019, 12:01:21 PM

Can you afford the losses when buying cryptocurrencies?

It's not just for cryptocurrencies. I think this is the most valid question for all investments. Can we afford it? Borrowing, no investment. If we move from here, it is risky to invest more than our earnings. Especially crypto investments are very risky. You have to consider this. We all have to.
1968  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: October 05, 2019, 11:58:50 AM
Absolutely I agree. There are dozens of gambling, slots and lottery. But sometimes it is impossible to know what is played and how. I think the videos could have been very useful. So people would learn when to win, when to lose.
Well, you mean that it is a video tutorial? I think if I am not mistaken all gambling platforms had on that kind of feature on their sites a video tutorial. But that is not necessary, especially in dice feature gambling site. Because it is very common and easy to understand even if you are beginners in the gambling industry. Indeed, glad to know that Mintdice now has another feature game. I am excited about what is the next feature marked coming soon.

People who live in non-native English countries often visit and play these platforms. I think the rules and how to play them should be explained thoroughly. This would also be possible with the best video.
1969  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETBIT.COM Bitcoin Sportsbook and Casino | INSTANT WITHDRAWALS !!! on: October 05, 2019, 11:57:05 AM
site is back up , tried to make a withdrawal but it's not working so hopefully tomorrow everything will be fine , still not sure why they haven't made an announcement yet

Good thing that they didn't end up on a scam.

We can say not yet. Can you really think it's reliable under these circumstances? Yes, there is always a problem on the website. But a serious platform would solve this in a very short time.
1970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Line messenger to invest in crypto on: October 05, 2019, 11:53:59 AM
The popular japanese messenger Line has decided to team up with two other companies and made a capital alliance agreement. The companies would create a fund which would invest on cryptocurrencies. One of the company in the agreement, Nomura holdings has already invested $14m in coinbase backed token.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/japanese-messenger-line-nomura-holdings-form-blockchain-alliance

Does the content involve only a cryptocurrency investment or a new project? This detail is very important. Will they invest in any blockchain-based project? I think if the official explanation comes, then we can be more specific
1971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A view on hunters and crypto currency on: October 05, 2019, 10:33:05 AM
Whatever you said above, I appreciate your efforts and welcome  Cheesy

regarding prize hunters and current ICO / IEO projects.
I would only say that the ICO project is almost dead and now investors have switched to the more profitable IEO project.

I disagree. Let's put the Binance IEOs aside. How many IEOs really created hype? How many of them have multiplied and multiplied its value?

5%? 10%? I do not think so.
1972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects are responsible for the death of their tokens on: October 05, 2019, 10:30:58 AM
In this kind of bad altcoin market i am still surprised that some new projects are giving out 50% price tag for their tokens, this is a project killer if you ask me, this move is only good if altcoin season is out and surging, 50percent is way too much in this kind of market we are in presently,  tell me i'm wrong

The projects where you see 50% discount have chosen a very good figure. I've seen worse. There are 90% discount projects. And the tokens of these projects lose 90% after exchange listing. And when that happens, bounty hunters are being blamed. It's not fair! and no one talks about it.
1973  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETBIT.COM Bitcoin Sportsbook and Casino | INSTANT WITHDRAWALS !!! on: October 04, 2019, 05:48:29 PM

Instant withdawals, Instant downs!  Grin We can withdraw when (if) website ressurected  Shocked

=
yeah same here , couldn't find any info about what's going
this was kinda sudden and in my experience all my withdrawals were processed instantly , so they weren't playing any games in the past and hopefully tomorrow site will be back up
it's just really annoying for such a service to not post updates about what's going on

I do have  funds in the site

That's a pretty bad picture of a service that has been in business for a while now. At least they could have put up some announcement in advance. It really sucks wanting to withdraw your money urgently and yet you can not access it.

I know it doesn't mean much but the domain Expires On: 2028-04-21, so i think they will be back soon.
They are still down at the moment which its somewhat alarming if downtime already 24 hours passed.I agree on points that it do sucks when
you are being blinded on not to get any updates on whats going on into their platform.Hopefully they would come online soon and its early to judge
on the word "exit scam"  Grin
Guys, I completely share your worries.  It is unfortunate that this happens, but what worries me most is that there is no official statement and at least an update of information from the author of this topic.

I guess, it is dead.
1974  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: October 04, 2019, 05:44:22 PM
I think lottery speaks for itself and lottery is ... well if its the lottery we all know about than we know that too. But, I am not sure if I know what pyramid is and what castle royale is, the name castle royale speaks to me like some sort of fortnite/pubg or whatever the new one of those is, those are called battle royale, so maybe its a game where people come join in and the last one standing wins but in gambling what kind of game provides such feature?

Pyramid sounds like a plinko game in a different version. I am making all these up btw, we have no clue what the games will be like, even tho there are times until those new games, could you please talk about how they will be like? As in what sort of games they will be like? Or if you have any screenshots for test purposes so we can see how they are that would be awesome too.

Absolutely I agree. There are dozens of gambling, slots and lottery. But sometimes it is impossible to know what is played and how. I think the videos could have been very useful. So people would learn when to win, when to lose.
1975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: October 04, 2019, 05:39:11 PM
You know how this is going to end. You might be trying to lie to yourself, you might be secretly hoping that some token in your "portfolio" that you have 10 million of is going to moon to $50 and make you rich, but let's be real: that is not going to happen. Even the allegedly strong altcoins like LTC or ETH or whatever is cool these days (I've been out of this game for a while) are not doing well and BTC dominance is growing. Which makes sense if you think about it. BTC can do most of what any altcoin can do and the few really useful features that BTC is missing (private transactions for example) are implemented by multiple altcoins, fragmenting their market share.

And the elephant in the room: 99% of altcoins are total garbage. They're called shitcoins for a reason.

Sell your altcoins and tokens. Take the proceeds in BTC, stick it into a cold wallet, keep some online to play around with Lightning and other things that actually matter for real-life stuff, like being able to buy something. When was the last time you were able to use for example Ethereum for something tangible, not to buy some garbage tokens or to play a game?

Do it today. Your grandkids will thank you.

I agree with you on some issues. We agree on the future of Bitcoin. But I disagree with the idea of buying all the subcoins. The right project becomes really profitable. Hundreds of cryptocurrencies in the latest bull have earned good money for those who own it. We can't ignore that. But since the last bull, more than 1000 projects have surpassed ICO. Not all of them can gain value. Someone will loose, some of them will earn.
1976  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loteo - Daily & Weekly Lottery | Instant Games | Instant Transactions on: October 04, 2019, 05:18:12 PM
I was seeing this project, but I didn't see what it was. Now I've done some review and liked the idea very much.
But I want to ask, has anyone ever won here? Has anyone been able to withdraw the money?
1977  Economy / Gambling / Re: dbet.io - the ONLY bitcoin directly betting sportsbook. NO ACCOUNT NEEDED! on: October 04, 2019, 05:02:26 PM
What is the Dbet mean. I mean, what is D? Decentralized?
It is strange. I will look at it. I can't understand how can we bet without account registration Huh

EDIT: I've just tried. And it is awesome. I bet on a match right now. And I am waiting. So if I win the prize will be sent to may wallet  Grin Easy and great!
But I have a suggestion. You should add altcoins ASAP. Bitcoin transaction fee is can bored people. Some coins transaction fee is so less then Bitcoin.
1978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The use of stable coins or no? on: October 04, 2019, 04:57:52 PM
On the other day, I think of the use of stable coins. I mean, when can we use Stable coins as an alternative fiat. You see when a bull run comes and everyone will start to sell their Bitcoins and some other coins into fiat the network will be congested.

So I think if we buy Stable coins with some stable volume, we will no longer need to worry about unable to sell our bitcoin into fiat.
Rather we only need to do this thing right? is this some acceptable alternative or no?

It's actually very simple. Stable coins are used for your investments for trade. For example, if you do not trade any crypto for 1-2 months, you do not need to use stable coin. You can choose to use FIAT directly. However, if you use your bank account with every USD return request, it will probably catch the attention of your country's economic authorities.
1979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin price increase after successful halving of block reward., thoughts. on: October 04, 2019, 04:44:25 PM
Many community users might not be aware of this but Litecoin just successfully completed halving it's block reward at Block 168,000 to produce 12.5 LTC. Before now Litecoin was trading around $93 as the 5th largest trading cryptocurrenc based on Coinmarketcap's market capitalization statistics but currently it's trading at $102 and now the 4th largest trading coin. The question now is, do you think a major catalyst of Litecoin recent success is linked to bitcoin also experience a surge in price (since this has always been the usual from previous record) or this time, it was all due to Litecoin successful halving event?.

What's your thoughts and congratulations to litecoiners on a successful halving event, Bitcoin is up next.

I don't think it's possible to come to a final conclusion. Litecoin had a good momentum before halving. However, it could not continue to grow afterwards. Because the movements in Bitcoin affect all altcoins including Litecoin. However, in Bitcoin halving, Litecoin or others will not affect the BTC price.
1980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you investing in IEOS ? and on which platform? on: September 26, 2019, 05:25:00 PM
Apart from Binance, there are a few good condition platforms. The remaining hundreds of exchanges are useless. Just small sums, small volumes. Therefore, except for major exchanges such as Binance, Huobi, Okex, the rest is not very useful. Therefore, IEOs of these good exchanges are generally successful.
