I guess I would be one of the slightly more well dressed non stink anarchist / mindless libertarian types.

Anarchism is not about no rules... and 'anarchy' as you have been led to believe, it is about the fundmental right for someone not to use force / violence / coercion against someone else.

You seem to think you have the right todo this.

I'm happy with Cody Wilsons, 'there will be a 1000 silk roads', because he's right, there will be, the cat is out the bag, bitcoin destroys statism, taxation and the war on drugs...  maybe your just a well dressed pompous idiot who hasn't yet figured this out ?

So.

Eat it.

there are somethings on silk road whcih are unacceptable, like child porn.  so people need to use force, to stop pedophiles from using force on helpless kids.

Silk Road never sold or dealt with child porn. In fact, it was against their rules.
19662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Currently hot alternative currencies ? on: December 06, 2013, 03:44:00 PM
Define 'hot'? All you're going to get in here is opinions from people who want to popularise and pimp-out whatever currency they got in cheap at.

What's wrong with the OP having an agenda?

For instance, the agenda might be to disseminate official information about a product or service. Trolls say this is unfair, I want to warp the thread to my OWN agenda... start another frigging thread then, dumbass.

It's a double edged sword for sure. The thread starter might have a few trolls who just follow him around causing trouble etc, so in this instance it may be useful.
19664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Want to get Infinitecoin to 1$? on: December 06, 2013, 03:38:36 PM
IFC could do wonders if better pools and better support will come.
Actually support side looks to be improving a lot already.

Reaching 1$ per 1 IFC is like 100 times too optimistic, but 1 cent for 1 IFC can easily happen.
Personally i like that coin a lot.

Me too, I've got a few thousand of them Grin

Nice try, op.
19666  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ZipZap to Offer Cash-for-Bitcoin Service at 28,000 UK Locations on: December 06, 2013, 02:55:22 PM
yes, as mentioned above it used to be a way to fund a Gox account. But it was convoluted and confusing, with many opportunities for something to go wrong. However if I could just directly buy them from ZipZap I would check them out. The real question is what are their fees?

Yeah, I suspect there'll be a big mark up.
19667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Satoshi reward everyone that keep their coins alive? on: December 06, 2013, 02:53:07 PM
And he would want to do this because...? Why doesn't he give all his money to charity, or buy a country and start an army?
19668  Other / Off-topic / Re: what happened to Fontas? on: December 06, 2013, 02:50:59 PM

Fontas a scam? No shit. Cannot believe people actually were gullible to take his advice, and actually paid for info.

I'm mining by tendency .....  Grin

I'm mining my own business  Cool

I don't see even litecoin really taking off

Litecoins market cap is atm more then $880 million. At what point do you think it "takes off"?

Haha yeah. It's already taken off; you just missed it. I'm excited to see where it heads, because it was pretty stable for weeks at about $4, then suddenly shot up to $40 and has been hovering around there ever since.

Question is where this trend will go. Would it pump or dump? I think the future of AltCoins is good because when BTC will be used by many people and services there will be also demand for more coins. And only 21M coins can't cover that demand at one point

That's the beauty of being involved in cryptos at this early stage. It's exciting to see where they go in the near & distant future.
19671  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Important Wallet Feature Request on: December 06, 2013, 02:37:46 PM
My assumption would be that if I wanted to sell a half a bitcoin to someone, I'd grab one of the five address sets I have, and I'd move .5 BTC from one of these addresses.  I would also generate a new set of public/private keys for the change transaction.

Is it going to be relatively straightforward for me to accomplish that transaction?

Yes, it should be as easy as that. Just make sure you're sending to the correct address.
19672  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk, I need your advice... on: December 06, 2013, 02:27:31 PM

Just man up and ask your brother "Are you still with (sister in law here), are you seeing someone else?"

Yeah, just ask him. Don't give out his password. Maybe if you know it you should check (have you ever snooped before on him, and why do you know his pass?).

19675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Quark the new FTC on: December 06, 2013, 02:16:05 PM
Quark should get reloaded, or else it will follow FTC in its footsteps towards nil.  Cry

FTC was at 12 cents for weeks, it's now floating between 0.55 and 0.70, after reaching a high of $1.40-ish a week or so ago. Quark is at 0.12. Let's see where they're both at in a year's time.

She thinks my brother is cheating on her. She says she snooped his phone and saw some texts from some girl that read, "You're adorable. How soon can we meet?" and "I'm wearing close to nothing. I'm freezing."

Well what did the other messages say? We/you need more context. If they were:

Brother: I just saved a bunch of puppies from a burning building. Do you want to meet up so I can give you one?
Girl: You're adorable. How soon can we meet?

Then no. But if:

Brother: I want to bury my face in your beautiful ass
Girl: You're adorable. How soon can we meet?

Then yes, he is cheating.

Brother: I'm really cold.
Girl: Me too
Girl: I'm wearing close to nothing. I'm freezing.

Then no. But if:

Brother: What are you wearing, you dirty little fucking skank
Girl: I'm wearing close to nothing. I'm freezing.

Then yes, maybe suspect.

And I wouldn't stick up for my bro if he was cheating. People have a right to know.
19677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it better to mine or just buy LTC? on: December 06, 2013, 01:37:54 PM

Hi There,

I would like to buy around 150 LTC, and not sure if its better to buy some mining rig and mine for the same amount, or just buy them?

How long will it take to mine LTC and what hardware to buy to mine at least 2-3 LTC a day?

Just buy the LTC. At least they will probably rise in price, so it's a quicker and safer investment rather than investing in expensive mining equipment. Plus you have the energy costs to factor in.

Well the more you post the more this will go down.

The biggest annoyances here have to be the scammers.

They are entertaining though. Plus, they're easy to spot and troll.
19679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins for Nigella Lawson? on: December 06, 2013, 01:29:06 PM
Why do people want to throw their Bitcoins away on shit like this? Seriously.

Nigella will be fine. In the meantime, enjoy some Nigella porn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtS2Ikk7A9I
19680  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Important Wallet Feature Request on: December 06, 2013, 01:21:40 PM
There will be lots of new security features coming out and also brand new wallets. Security and ease of use is a big issue, and is probably one of the biggest hurdles that will have to be overcome for popular mainstream use.
