I think PPC is definitely the best Altcoin and maybe the best coin in the future. Great Developer and will be at the very least a long term coin for the holding of money.
I'm agreed, PPC is the best altcoin!

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Hello. Total newb here. I just recently started mining coin called Quark. I Only have my desktop computer, so i'm only getting like 20 QRK/day. I'm starting to doubt if that's even worth the trouble... Anyone have any experiences/advice on Quark?  Smiley

They have pretty much all been mined. Your best bet is to buy in and watch what happens when Bill Still is guest at Max Keiser. It might turn out to be a good short term investment.

Crypto currency seems to be a winner take all market to me.  I don't see even litecoin really taking off unless btc gets 51 attacked.

A million per annum are being mined which brings about 0.5% of inflation. I feel quarks are interesting because of the added security, how fast they are confirmed compared to bitcoin and the keiser/still effect as mentioned earlier. It may or may not end up succeeding but definitely an alt worth diversifying into at least a little in my opinion.

All people having Quarks are waiting for the 19th interview. What if thats interview its nothing? It's like the future of Quark will be decided that day or something like that... a bit risky.

If you haven't noticed, all cryptos are risky. It's all a big bet right now, and you are either in or out.

Haha yeah. It's already taken off; you just missed it. I'm excited to see where it heads, because it was pretty stable for weeks at about $4, then suddenly shot up to $40 and has been hovering around there ever since.

Question is where this trend will go. Would it pump or dump? I think the future of AltCoins is good because when BTC will be used by many people and services there will be also demand for more coins. And only 21M coins can't cover that demand at one point

If you don't like the roller coaster ride, just turn your back and walk away...you'll possibly sleep better Smiley

And that's what I'm saying.  An altcoin can be built that is much less risky--perhaps less risky over the long run that these fiat paper bills that are floating around.

My concern with the world's growing supply of fiat paper "money" is, what do you do with the money that you can't afford to lose.  Some people buy land, gold, silver, stocks, etc, but all of those fluctuate wildly.  Some hold dollars or euros, which are great for the short term, but horrible for the long term.  Just wait until the music stops and there aren't enough chairs to go around.

For those mining altcoins, what do you hold on to while other digital coins are going through some volatility?  On the stock market, there are treasury notes that can be held short term because they are not likely to lose their value short term.  They are used as islands when various stocks are not doing as well.  That is to say, those treasuries don't yield any great returns, but they offer a good place to keep your money when you go can't be watching the market.  When computers trigger stop-losses, selling a money losing stock or fund, that money has to go somewhere.

What I'm suggesting for a digital currency is something close to that for exchanges, but that also encourages CPU/GPU mining as a means of getting widely established.  Such an altcoin is not attractive for either the Pump'n'Dumpers, nor short term speculators.  It may not grow in value wildly, but it's appropriate for those less tolerant of risk.

I would like to work on development of a polymorphic altcoin that maintains a stable value and is more resistant to fraud.

That's the beauty of being involved in cryptos at this early stage. It's exciting to see where they go in the near & distant future.

Hehe yea and they act out like they are rich already. I mean, I like the idea. Might not work all the way but might can have potential.
