Received ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Subconsciously, I'm still searching for my hat to recognize my own posts. I guess more users must think I'm under cover now, I'm curious to see if I get less Merit after "hiding" ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

I have never used them myself but It's legitimate service, I've read an endless amount of reviews about the good work they've been doing, you can check the forums and Reddit as well. This is the owner's profile. I've seen the same positive reviews (without ever using the service by myself). I had some I bought 5 years ago. I can't wipe the smile off my face. Congratulations! The right place to leave feedback would be on Dave's Trust summary, so that others can find it back easier.

I am not sure how much effort mods put into reviewing newbie accounts before Nuking them currently. I think it's safe to assume this varies from case to case. I tried to have DdmrDdmr nuked last year, his username was part of a long list of accounts that got nuked, but he survived. Mods did good on that one ( details here). I know that theymos put some new limits in place for trust, but the 600 characters Is a bit too much, it allows a spammer to leave pages over pages of garbage reviews on anyone's profile. I know that Lauda argued for more than 600 I cases where he wants to tag multiple accounts but we could enforce a limit of 100 for low-level ranks. For example, the phrase above has ~330 characters, you don't need to post a novel there and if you do a link to an archive would suffice. I've run into this restriction a few times already. I don't have a problem with the 600 characters, but a newline costs 120 characters. That makes decent formatting very difficult. See my neutral feedback on KWH for instance: I couldn't add another line to show a link to Vod's post about this. You can of course add it all in one reference link, but I think it's more likely to be read this way. I'd be totally in favour of a lower limit for Newbies ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Maybe LoyceV partially agreed with those posts. It doesn't matter if I agree or not, CryptopreneurBrainboss' post is clearly not spam, and he put a lot of work in it. Asche shows a totally different angle, and cabalism13 disagrees with asche. The Pharmacist gives a different insight again, and hacker1001101001 provides a reason to support CryptopreneurBrainboss's merit source application. There were a few more posts, but you get the idea It is some kind of rewards for posts that LoyceV agreed to disagree. Wrong. If anything, it's a reward for not spamming the forum. I'm not trying to convince the internet on who to agree with, it's up to the reader to decide that on his own. I don't do it often, but I especially like meriting opposing views. Don't mistake Merit for "likes" or endorsements. Another reason is likely that LoyceV decided to give their sMerits away, rather than hoarding them for too long. It is a lot of work to unload a continuous flow of Merit, without wanting to give a lot per post. My possible conclusion will be he just offloaded the smerits so he'll be eligible to receive new allocation. Correct. Although I still try to only Merit posts that are worth reading. I keep my source amount low (I just sent the last one to Heisenberg_Hunter), but I have 471 of "my own" sMerits left. That number keeps slowly going up.

If there is no tool yet I'm sure that LoyceV or DdmrDdmr will do a good job in creating it. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I can make it, but does it have to be 100% accurate? A rough overview might be better for the purpose of assessing a signature campaign candidate. This is yours: ![Image loading...](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Floyce.club%2FMerit%2Fhistory%2Fimg%2F2143453_blue.gif&t=663&c=DPGSIkMHefFARA) Data updated until last Friday's data dump, each column is 5 days, the maximum height is 100 Merit (in 5 days), if a user earned more, the top of the column gets darker. To post it, insert userID in this code: [img alt=Image loading...]http://loyce.club/Merit/history/img/userID_blue.gif[/img] A campaign manager could even request candidates to post it. Note that I also provide BBCode for the full Merit history on http://loyce.club/Merit/history/2143453.html.

I think that before watching porn sites, people should be informed that the porn is addictive and causes erectile dysfunction. That's it, I'm broken for life ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) It is one of good way to spread crypto around and help it invading more into real life. I was going to say the same thing: it means the real world (porn) is mixing more with Bitcoin, instead of just the usual mixers and casinos. That's a good thing for Bitcoin adoption.

I think the standard to remove sent trust from 'Nuked' users should be much lower than for most other users. I don't think this should be automatic though. If it's not automatic, only Admins can do it, and I don't think they want to spend time on it. My concern is there may be a situation in which a newbie is scammed, and the scammer is able to trick a mod into nuking the newbie. If sent trust is automatically removed I don't worry about this too much, and I don't think accidental nuking is very likely. Unless the Newbie broke the rules, in which case it's deserved. If the Newbie was really scammed, a scam accusation followed by DT-trust is the path to go. If someone has a bunch of untrusted feedback from people alleging a scam from people who were nuked shortly after sending the trust, this should be a red flag. My gut feeling tells me it's more likely that someone holds a grudge, and created Newbie accounts to leave fake feedback. If it's real, DT-red is much more effective.

Interesting, do you know if these rules only apply for the auctioned off ads that theymos runs or for all ad campaigns? I haven't found anything else about this, so I can't tell for sure.

I have no problems with it, but you may want to consider following theymos' rule from Advertise on this forum - Round 272: Ads may not link directly to any NSFW page. It's nice to get a NSFW-warning after accidentally clicking a link.
Just out of curiosity: does the site accept Bitcoin? If they don't, I don't expect them to earn much from advertising here.

I know we couldn't afford you but maybe just maybe you'd like it enough to work something out . (No signature made yet waiting on zwei) but please check out Microlancer.io its 100% a passion project. My avatar has just been taken by Foxpup. I'm working on a 1Merit addy ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) The first payment will be made as soon as it's done (give or take a few hours depending on my sleep schedule and the status of my time machine, respectively). A cycle was too much to ask, so a sled will have to do: 1 MeritSLEDvmvvGnEUzNuwYM7M7iMQuTjw (Balance: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fbtc-priceimg.herokuapp.com%2Fbalance%2F1MeritSLEDvmvvGnEUzNuwYM7M7iMQuTjw%2F00f&t=663&c=-CVXAfojLC_e5w) )

I was checking sandy-is-fine's Untrusted feedback, and noticed a lack of arguments from for instance Konnow_: 24/7 ON BITCOINTALK VIRGIN 10/10 24/7 ON BITCOINTALK VIRGIN 10/10 24/7 ON BITCOINTALK VIRGIN 10/10 24/7 ON BITCOINTALK VIRGIN 10/10 24/7 ON BITCOINTALK VIRGIN 10/10 24/7 ON BITCOINTALK VIRGIN 10/10 24/7 ON BITCOINTALK VIRGIN 10/10 24/7 ON BITCOINTALK VIRGIN 10/10 24/7 ON BITCOINTALK VIRGIN 10/10 24/7 ON BITCOINTALK VIRGIN 10/10 24/7 ON BITCOINTALK VIRGIN 10/10 24/7 ON BITCOINTALK VIRGIN 10/10 The account has been Nuked, but the feedback is still visible. I know feedback in general isn't moderated, but once a user has abused the forum up to the point where all his posts got Nuked, shouldn't his Sent feedback get Nuked too? There are more examples, the next feedback comes from Nuked user Mallex: Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Ching-chong kid I hope your mother burns alive #FUCKCHINA Not all trust abusers got Nuked, but it would be a great start to do some Trust cleaning.

Another Sandy account here. You can't expect to be taken seriously as a Newbie, if you accuse established members of being alts without any proof.

Since I stand firmly against all these PAID2POST campaigns and feel only NET POSITIVE services should be advertised on the forum, I present... BTC0.015 per week Lol ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I would have merited your post, but that would be just ironic ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Still trolling ch I guess, but much more subtle than TMAN ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Are you serious? If so: avatar changed around 19:20h on Wednesday March 27. It takes a while to change from cache. To keep in mind for myself: the Netherlands moves the clock forward one hour, so this avatar should last at least 1 hour later when this ends. I'm working on a 1Merit addy ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Cryptohunter is a cunt. All it needs to say, biggest font possible sir please sir Lol ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I like your sense of humor, I really do ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) But I try not to make things personal, and this would be a clear personal attack. And I think the forum would be a less nice place if we go down this path. Thanks for the first bid ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Has anyone tested if this works? It shouldn't work. If it does, it's a bug and should be fixed. I still see animated avatars for campaigns. Those are old avatars: OK, APNGs are now detected. Old ones are grandfathered for now, in part because people have ongoing campaigns, but in the future I might (or might not) go through and remove them. I was editing some pictures in PS a few days ago when I realized it have a feature for making gifs. I tried making a rather crude animated version of my avatar, only to find I can't upload it. You have the campaigns that overdid it to thank for that.

Another suggestion: Visualize users' Merit scores as images! This is mine at the moment: ![Image loading...](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fimages-na.ssl-images-amazon.com%2Fimages%2FI%2F416Q02GR0ZL.jpg&t=663&c=QXUOlJVoBukD6A)

I finally figured out how to scrape data as if I'm logged in! It turned out to be pretty simple, all I had to do was copy the forum's cookies to a file, and let my scraper use it. I now scrape as LoyceBot, which has only DefaultTrust on it's trust list. I also added a short explanation, because some users wondered why they were on my list. Sample (I used short thread as an example, there's nothing to investigate here)
