1981  Economy / Reputation / Re: Warning about the Novus Chain project/bounties on: April 21, 2023, 06:58:31 AM
Awareness is the only solution to such a problem, since without awareness we cannot describe the project as scam unless there is clear evidence.
All indications indicate that the project is not promising if it is not a fraud or a fraud, and therefore, even if it is not a fraud, the return from it is not worth all these efforts.
Not to mention that they did not pay the campaign manager, in addition to the poor design of the ANN and many other things that indicate a lack of funding.
1982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gas station payment with bitcoin. on: April 20, 2023, 06:01:38 AM
Congratulations,
I do not think it is a good idea, the person who wants to fill up the fuel will want to do it quickly and will not wait for the transaction to be confirmed, but you can create an ATM machine so that the person can withdraw from it or a machine for drinks and juices where you can pay with the lightning network.

You can also provide some services and put the Bitcoin logo accepted here, such as changing oil or repairing tires, etc., and with a 5% discount, you will get double interest.
1983  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going down. on: April 20, 2023, 05:48:52 AM
The current price is still good, as we started from the price of 17K, so the current price is good, and the price is higher than the previous support level, which will turn into a long-term resistance level, and therefore this may be the last opportunity to buy bitcoin at a cheap price.
In general, do not be late, because when the train is moving, it is moving quickly. Wink

So I recommend holding on to your cash/stablecoins right now and waiting for the signals to buy Bitcoin.
This is the worst advice you can give a person, stablecoins are at their worst right now and it is dangerous to keep a lot of cash in them or at least believe that they have value for the long term.
1984  Economy / Exchanges / Re: SEC wants to regulate DEXs on: April 20, 2023, 05:23:53 AM
The happy side of this story is that it will act as a filter to see if the platform is decentralized or if it claims to be.

you can consider it as an opportunity to develop decentralized protocols, but are they really serious and have enough resources for that Shocked Shocked?
It's a headache if these decentralized platforms decide to operate at the smart contract level, but unfortunately even some cryptocurrencies could be the next target.
1985  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: 15% Discount on the Trezor Model T on: April 20, 2023, 04:59:18 AM
Is the decline in sales the motive behind such a trend, or have the legislative regulations become more stringent?

Hardware wallets are used for those who want to store several cryptocurrencies, not just bitcoins, as it is easy to manage cold storage for bitcoins, and it is difficult or almost impossible to do so for a variety of cryptocurrencies, so I do not think that any privacy-related update will not affect the sales rate.

Hopefully it's just a drop in sales and not legal issues because in the future legal issues may force them to put some back doors to recover stolen coins.
1986  Economy / Economics / Re: Refusal from USD - where are the topics ? on: April 20, 2023, 04:41:55 AM
what is this event for? Is the dollar defeated? Or the paid votes no longer received funding and did not prove their effectiveness in the process of propaganda!? Smiley
Conspiracy theory lovers, do you think that this forum is influential so that there are paid votes to influence the dollar?

All there is to it is that raising interest rates harms many economies, and many citizens begin to know its negative effects, and therefore they search for alternatives to the dollar and put forward discussions. Therefore, the closer a meeting of the Federal Reserve and the higher the leader’s prices, the more these discussions will increase and will decrease if the interest is reduced or in the period between each two meetings. for the federal.

Generally, this decision is taken by countries, but you as an individual must diversify your investment portfolio.
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating value for Long term success on: April 20, 2023, 04:15:03 AM
There are enough red flags in your thread to make anyone think twice before investing, the rhetoric you mention is emotional and doesn't sound scientifically based, fees haven't become an issue for most cryptocurrencies, confirmation speed is too, 500% APR sounds too good to be true. So what you are trying to promote is SCAMMMMM.

Are you from the developer team?
1988  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Bitcoin Mixer on: April 20, 2023, 03:59:44 AM
I see.money has not been working for several days, and you depend on Tor. Is there still visits and profits, or has it not been affected?

5.outputs will be fungible, namely 0.001BTC, 0.01BTC, 0.1BTC, 1BTC, 10BTC. the unspent balance will remain on the Note and you can withdraw it at any time
Your service has become very similar to CM, won't the fixed output fungible and fixed withdrawal fees make it easier to identify that coins came from u?
Are deposits less than 0.001BTC considered donations, or can I get notes of the same value, but they cannot be withdrawn?
Are there ideas to add Monero to the withdrawal from notes, or will you just be Bitcoin?
1989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: convert cardano (ADA) into Tether (USD T) on: April 20, 2023, 03:50:17 AM
Yeah, Cardano is mainly run in BSC chain while USDT is mainly run in ETH chain.
AFAIK, Cardano is blockchain not a token, and they have coin which is ADA, thus, they cannot work on another blockchain, if they exist in another blockchain, they are useless wrapped token[1] run on BSC.

USDT is token thus, it can be founded in several blockchains, most in TRON, although some prefer it on polygon due to the cheap fees.
It is rarely found in ETH blockchain.

1990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: convert cardano (ADA) into Tether (USD T) on: April 19, 2023, 12:16:47 PM
I do not think that the word "swap*" is correct, and therefore you need to either use CEXs where you will deposit cardano (ADA) and then decide to withdraw Tether (USD T) on TRON, ETH, plogon or any blockchain, or DEXs, but with higher fees and the same amount of centralization.
There are two good options if you don't want to verify your KYC which are OKX[1] and kucoin[2].
And you can click on the link in my signature to search for multiple options.

1991  Economy / Economics / Re: Scarcity and scale of preference on: April 19, 2023, 12:08:22 PM
I guess what OP is trying to say is that "human wants are insatiable". Since resources are limited and scarce we should have a scale of preference is the only way to make sure the resources we have available are enough for us.

Your words are correct, but there are always sufficient resources to cover those desires, as the increase in desires means that there is a demand, and therefore ideas are generated to meet that demand.

Thus, even if the resources are scarce, there are enough ideas to convert untapped resources into materials fit for human use.
Let us take an example of water desalination. In the past, people relied on rain water and rivers, but the increase in population density forced them to desalinate sea water until the waste water was reused.
1992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin price control by human agents or electronic technology? on: April 19, 2023, 11:52:39 AM
Supply and demand makes the market open, and therefore what leads to balance in the price is arbitrage.

When I find that the price of bitcoin on one platform is $31,000 and on another platform it is $28,000, I will definitely try to transfer my currencies to that platform, and this is how the cycle of supply and demand is achieved until the market balances.

But the difference can be very large, because I remember in 2017, the difference between one platform and another was more than 30% on the same day, but it is rare to find that these days.

You will notice that the difference is simple between CEXs and is greater in DEXs.
example:
Binance $29,309.71
Birake Network $30,191.90

1993  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase CEO asks UK to slow down on Crypto Regulations - lift bank bans on: April 19, 2023, 11:29:31 AM
What I think Brian Armstrong did is try to find a cash cover for his foundation after the tightening of regulatory restrictions in the United States.

The problem of Brian Armstrong and Coinbase is that they need funds to maintain their stablecoin USDC, and therefore there must be bank accounts and financial flows to support them and support liquidity, and therefore he is trying to find a new headquarters, and it seems that his message is an attempt to sympathize with the United Kingdom, especially with the economic problems in that country.

In general, Coinbase in terms of guaranteeing customer funds are better than Binance, and perhaps the best currently, so I can consider it good news
1994  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Sparrow vs Electrum for desktop on: April 19, 2023, 11:15:07 AM
Although Sparrow excels in terms of UI and UX, in addition to the ease of connecting your nodes, in addition to Taproot addresses and better performance of the Lightning Network, Electrum provides you with basic and good features for all these requirements, so if you are familiar with Electrum or have not used any of these wallets before it is a good choice.

I also think that the way Electrum deals with individual HW plugins is better. so I will vote for it.
1995  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OrangeWebsite.com is a SCAM Iceland web hosting OrangeWebsite is a SCAM BEWARE! on: April 19, 2023, 10:23:48 AM
It's the first time I've heard of this company, but so far what seems to be happening is, at worst, optional fraud, and therefore without proven cases, we cannot say that they are frauds.

This is totally unbelievable. Also they seem to be buying TrustPilot reviews, I was reading their positive feedback and looks like all fake, the only real like comments are actually the negative ones. What a joke.

This is suspicious activity in the future. If any site has zero negative evaluations, this is a sign of avoidance, and negative evaluations are the only indicator of the classification of sites.

Overall, thank you for the warning, and if there is any evidence of scam, please attach it.
1996  Other / Off-topic / Re: Other than Crypto, What Commodities To Trade Online? on: April 19, 2023, 10:05:39 AM
Everything is traded on the Internet, but cryptocurrencies are traded without verification of identity and thus allowed them to spread globally and not in a limited range as was the case in the stock market and the rest of the highly regulated markets.
Therefore, unless you have completed the identity verification, you will not be able to trade in those markets, as there are other disputes such as:

 - Bitcoin market operates 24 hours.
 - There are no stop-loss orders.
 - There is no guarantee of your money if you invest in cryptocurrency.
1997  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sheepy - new cryptocurrency payment gateway on: April 19, 2023, 09:49:42 AM
Yes, you are right. In general, financial regulations and compliance requirements can vary greatly across different jurisdictions. Some countries have stricter regulations when it comes to cryptocurrency payments, and we, as a payment gateway,
Most, if not all, financial legislation is strict for amounts that exceed the amount of one thousand or two thousand dollars, and most payments to merchants are less than that amount. Therefore, there is no need for strictness for depositors, and perhaps the necessary strictness for stores, as the total of their transfers will definitely be more than a thousand dollars.

Many countries do not have clear legislation for encrypted currencies, and therefore, as long as the transfer does not contain US dollars, most of these legislations are useless.

Isn't this a bad choice for users? Where anyone can know my daily store deposit and thus estimate what I can buy.
1998  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How true is this statement? on: April 16, 2023, 12:16:01 PM
There is no investment based on facts, but rather plans and analysis, and that plan may change according to circumstances and situations, and therefore the phrase is generally correct, but try not to believe in anything to a large extent, especially if it is in the future.

In short, if you have money that you do not need and you are not afraid of losing it, then the saying is completely true.
1999  Economy / Economics / Re: Scarcity and scale of preference on: April 16, 2023, 12:10:38 PM
I do not think that this saying is correct. When our requirements were primitive, man discovered wood, which was burned to obtain fire and the beginning of energy. After the needs increased, coal appeared, including steam locomotives and internal combustion engines. Then oil appeared and the aviation industry developed. Therefore, when human needs increase, resources develop in return. necessary to cover these needs.

I remember 100 years ago, people did not know about oil, and even when it appeared, they were not aware of this wealth, so the next wealth may be close or even outside the planet. Wink
2000  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Latin American crypto exchange trading and airdrops on: April 16, 2023, 12:05:11 PM
Latin American crypto exchange Get $10 in tokens for free!
It seems that their definition of the word free is very far from being free, as you pay your data and money as money to get something free that you may not get, and if you get it, you may not be able to withdraw the $10 or sell those tokens.

In general, you are the weaker party, and the possibility of your success in obtaining that token lies in, deposit CPEX of 20$  >> passing identity verification without problems >> obtaining the token >>  enabling you to sell it >> obtaining a price of 10 dollars. Any mistake in this process means losing your money and data.

Quote
in order to receive 10$ I need to enter money in CPEX of 20$ and I also have to pass KYC. This system is clearly a referral scheme that is not far from the Networking system or leveraging.
