1981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep Bitcoin while getting benefits on: August 10, 2021, 11:15:03 PM
If Bitcoin reaches 1 million and I hold a lot of Bitcoin in my wallet, how can I get profit without selling Bitcoin?
I use a certain percentage of the current price of BTC as collateral to obtain a loan and earn interest. If the price of Bitcoin doubles, can I get the loan again?
How to keep the bitcoin while getting the initial investment income?
Staking can be the option but I think its not available with Bitcoin, and the only way to enjoy your profit is to sell it. You hold a lot of Bitcoin so there’s no need to take a loan, don’t hesitate to use your bitcoin to reinvest it in other project, that could be more profitable if you use your bitcoin the right way.
1982  Economy / Economics / Re: Can developing countries follow El Salvador use Bitcoin? on: August 09, 2021, 10:25:36 PM
On the ground, there are many developing and even semi-developed countries in which the citizens are using bitcoin as a daily routine. I am not sure if these countries will ever be as open minded as El Salvador, because at the end of the day having control over your own currency, even if is the shittiest currency ever, allow you to control your economy in a way that is simply impossible with bitcoin. Among other things, you can pay your public employees such as teachers or police with basically cow crap. Going to bitcoin for that is not an option.
There’s a lot of developing countries are open to this possibilities, but still they are not making any decision maybe because they are still studying the possibilities but as along as its not illegal in your place, that’s fine.

I live in a developing country and we can freely use cryptocurrency without violating any laws. Hopefully, they’ll
make it more legal later on so many people will start to adopt, we still need to be regulated because there’s still a trust issues that we need to address.
1983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LIST OF #PLAY2EARN GAMES 2021 on: August 09, 2021, 09:45:34 PM
I'm on DPET I invested my whole salary from DPET because they are just starting out and they have a good roadmap, this is the best time to get in while they are rolling up their features and their play to earn features, I believe they will become the new Axie they also have a very huge community and many more coming in, I hope I made the right decision.
Once they launch their play2Earn system, I’m sure that is the start for DPET to grow more and I’m confident that we made the right decision on supporting Dpet on their first stage. There’s a lot of good NFT games today that are worth investing, Axie is not finish yet so it’s not too late to invest on Axie as well. I’m not sure with cryptoblades but its price goes crazy as well, will look into this for more opportunities to earn while playing.
1984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Greed in Gambling on: August 09, 2021, 09:37:26 PM

Losing all the money that he won is usually the case when you become greedy, sometimes the greedy gambler enjoys too much of his luck that he runs out of it after pushing for more. This happens over and over to addicted gamblers that they are already indebted. We know how it ends because one effect leads to another, probably lives under the basement of their parent's house.
Being greedy is not good at all because all your winnings are useless because you continue to gamble and for sure you’ll just lose that money again because of being greedy. We know having a bad emotion in gambling is not good, being greedy will result to addiction, we should avoid this just of emotion at all cost.
1985  Economy / Speculation / Re: People are panic buying right now! on: August 09, 2021, 09:21:54 PM
Haha now people are panic buying now as you can see bitcoin price already bounce back from $43,000 and back to $45,000 now just within a day. Those who saying bitcoin already end when it was fallen to $30,000 will regret it to didn't buy on that time.

LONG LIVE BITCOIN! TO THE MOON!
They are not panic buying, they are just buying because they see an opportunity to make money, if there’s a panic buying then we should be on the price of $50k already. This is normal, every time the market recovers people will come and buy again because they believe the bull can happen and the correction was done already.
1986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blockchain casino Vs Traditional casino on: August 09, 2021, 08:44:04 PM
Winnings are still ended up on RNG or basically luck. The chance of winning is still subject to the algorithm.

But whatever the circumstances, do you think gamblers really care about this fairness? They will gamble to death and play with their respective luck either playing with blockchain or traditional casinos.
This is a normal thinking of a gambler, as long as they have the money to gamble they will play at no specific casinos, because both are ok to gamble and many still prefer to gamble on a traditional way. Though a lot of good crypto gambling site in the market, I believe they are growing more compare to the traditional casinos, if this continues traditional casinos might start to adopt cryptocurrency.
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ADA Price Prediction on: August 09, 2021, 08:22:00 PM
my analysis Cardano is one of the smart contract platforms full of very good innovations, mainly supported by very professional developers, but unfortunately most projects ignore this network, if this situation can't be solved I think ADA is difficult to Compete with other networks like binance  and Ethereum, currently the price of Cardano has increased slightly, which is around $1.5, I am sure with its features it can make Cardano increase in the future,
Full of potential but investors are not buying it, there’s no major update with ADA and many new project still using other network something is wrong for sure and the ADA team have to address that. Though it doesn’t mean ADA will stay on that level forever, once a good project recognized by investors ADA will have a chance to showcase its real purpose and maybe a good price will come to ADA. $2 can happen, that’s a good price to end this year.
1988  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is stop loss and how it works on: August 09, 2021, 07:19:37 PM
Stop- loss order is a tool  you can use in centralized cryptocurrency exchange  to sell or buy  a  coin when it reaches a specific price! This tool is design to limit investors's losses in an open position! There is no guarantee however wether the tool will work in a very high volatility  market! Stop-loss should be able to keep your losses to bearest minimum if it set according to percentage losses you  are able to afford!
You can do this manually to lessen the possibility of losing more money, stop loss was created for you not to go beyond that level so if the price hits your stop loss level, you have to sell right away and do buy something that you can possibly earn to get back what you have lost. Stop loss is very helpful, don’t forget to set up your stop loss price, this can be a big help.
1989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 09, 2021, 06:41:46 PM
My biggest fear is the guarantee of refunds of investment if prices drops or goes higher that is to say what ever goes on in the process lies strictly on my own risk. Looking at the second game crypto blades where there is no assurance of refunds then I will bluntly say it's not worth investing in.
There’s no assurance for the profit, this is why you only have to invest your extra money. There’s a big issue with cryptoblades especially those who invested on its peak price, now they are still down. Gambling is something that you always do even without any assurance of profit, some NFT games have an assurance to make money everyday but still depends on the market value of that token, NFT games can’t be consider as gambling.
1990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments prohibit developers from creating a new coin? on: August 09, 2021, 05:52:17 PM
In my opinion, the government has the potential to do that because those who get permission to use and have a clear whitepaper are only bitcoin, it says bitcoin can never be created again because when it was made only 21 million bitcoins were created, while other coins could still be made new .
This will only possible if the government already supported cryptocurrency but for now, this is still unrealistic because the government is still not regulating crypto and every country have their own rules and regulations to follow. We know its easy to create a token, but only few projects are real so don’t waste your money on a fake project.
1991  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: August 09, 2021, 01:04:04 PM

1992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: August 08, 2021, 11:37:18 PM
Why not everyone is switching to crypto and the next future is of digital currencies and they will implement crypto either they will make their own coin or they will accept others as payments and vice versa.

Regards
As we continue to grow, there’s a higher possibility for this one but not now because many are still dealing with the pandemic, and they can’t take the risk for now because of that. Cryptocurrency is a big thing already on any market, we made a good exposure and I’m sure casinos are considering this one. Cryptocurrency will be one of the major options in the future.
1993  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish News!!! on: August 08, 2021, 11:12:29 PM
I think this is great news if it actually happens in the near future. as we know that Coinbase is one of the biggest exchanges. If the news is true, then a Bull market will happen soon.
Not related on Bitcoin? This news will not affect the whole market because we all know we are still dependent to Bitcoin so if there’s a news about Bitcoin, then we might see a bull market again though this exchange news is still good but not enough to push the market into another bull run.
1994  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: MIST (another NFT game): Legit P2E or Scam? on: August 08, 2021, 10:48:34 PM
1995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Gambling Platform In Your Region on: August 08, 2021, 10:37:20 PM
I have been doing some thinking lately and decide to share it share so we gambling community can contribute to it, we have all being playing gambling games both in an online casino or going to physical casino house to gamble.
So can we share with each other the best 2021 Gambling/Casino platforms with best odds?
On which country you came from?
I can access almost all crypto gambling site since my country is not that strict and most of the gambling site offers a good platform to us, though some games are limited in my region but at least I can play on their platform. Best odds will depend on the volume of gamblers, there’s a lot of good sportbook you can try stake.
1996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Head and Shoulder on: August 08, 2021, 09:57:32 PM
If you look at the shared chart, the price goes up because of the hard fork and after that the price go sideways which will go down later on because the price already reach its peak during its fork and it will always go back on where it started. ETH is indeed the best altcoin this is a proof that ETH can go for more heights, just monitor its price and you’ll be good.
Yes, but I myself have not only done monitoring on ETH, but I have also made a few trades with ETH and that's what I started from last year until now, because ETH is not only suitable for investment, but also suitable for trading, especially in conditions who just finished Hardfork.
Trading with ETH seems more profitable because of its head and shoulder trend, if you can spot that then use it as your advantage and make money out of it. The fork will become successful as I can see on ETH, they really want to address the problem and with this fork, it can happen. The price will eventually rise even after the fork, maybe we will start another bull trend since Bitcoin is also moving on a good position.
1997  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 08, 2021, 09:33:18 PM
I wonder how many more sports will be added?

Do you expect to see any particular sport on their platform? It looks like Roobet added many popular sports on their betting page include even popular cybersports like cs:go and dota 2, and I guess it is more than enough for the first time.

Now I see that they already cover most of the popular sports. I had trouble opening the Sports Betting page, so I mistakenly assumed, from screenshots posted online, that they only offered a few sports.
Anyhow, I am glad the page is working now so I can explore the whole offer more thoroughly.

Adding eSport on the list is a great decision, it looks like Roobet will cover it all and just like a one stop gambling where everything is already on the Roobet site. This is indeed a great update, and with this one I’m pretty sure many will come and try Roobet, KYC is the only downside for this site but the rest works well.
1998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Burning plans on: August 08, 2021, 09:17:13 PM

When u hear/read a coin have a burning plan in their roadmap - is it a always buy in before and sell when it happen? ( Excluded shitcoins).
Just look at the price of Binance every time they burn their supply, the price usually didn’t pump before and during the burning phase, it will just pump right after that where people realize that the supply is getting limited and still the demand is rising. So its a good idea to buy before the burning phase and hold until the price pump.
1999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Binance? on: August 08, 2021, 08:59:22 PM
Binance will not leave the market, but these issues are indeed big and I’m hoping that Binance already working on this. They are too big to leave the market, they can’t hide as well because we know the team behind Binance. Though this kind of pressure from regulation can trigger them from stopping their operations, I wonder what would be the best solution for this one, I’m still confident with Binance they can survive this.
2000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it on: August 08, 2021, 08:38:37 PM
I've been listening to a podcast about online casino scam and they said outright scam (rogue casino) is getting less frequent these days. Nowadays, it's more about soft scam when the casino trick users without they realize. For example, registration bonus, or any type bonus with complicated requirement. Pending withdrawal so that impatient user will play and got busted (instead of withdrawing the money), etc.

I've tasted this soft scam and yeah, I don't trust the casino after that incident.

This is one of the reasons why they delay the withdrawal by asking too many requirements they know that the player will take a chance while waiting for their requirement to get approve, so they will not get reported scamming you and not letting you withdraw because in the first place there's no funds to withdraw, the best action is to not use that funds or do not play at all until they resolve the issue if they will not let you withdraw or takes a lot of time to decide your issue then they will be reported as a scam site.

And you will be screwed if you forgot to read their ToS, and you will find out that you are not complying one of their conditions. That's when they can get advantage of you. So before playing big, make sure to read their terms especially those that are important requirements before withdrawal. Also, from time to time, read their terms as sometimes they update without informing their players.
Reading the ToS might be boring because of the length of words but if can be a big help to you and it can prevent you from making mistakes, so better to have time for this one. Building a good reputation is not easy at all, they work on it but still some gambling site are still committing a mistake to scam people especially if they start not pay the players, that could be the first warning to you.
