1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's the year 2018 over again on: May 01, 2022, 09:49:18 PM
It seems we are already in a bear market but how far can this go? A year or two just like 2018-2019? Or this is a short term bear market? MMCrypto on youtube said that 30,000$ BTC is possible, if this do happens altcoins will bleed more than ever and this will unlock the beginning of the downfall of many altcoins.
Yes we are on a bear market right now and no one knows how long this will last, it can be months or even years but as long as you are holding a good coins, I believe you have nothing to worry about. Bottom prices are still possible to happen, just monitor the price of the market and do your best action to adopt that trend and never to panic.
1042  Economy / Economics / Re: Argentinian Government Ready to Take Advantage of Crypto Holder on: May 01, 2022, 09:41:50 PM
I am wondering how it would be a success? How they could trace which addresses have been used by which users? It's not possible in a decentralized ecosystem. Only centralized exchange or wallet would be traced and ask for taxes. Anyway could use non-custodial wallets to handle their crypto assets. During sale even they could do it in the black market in case government overcharge the tax.
Most probably a way to intimidate those holders in a decentralized platform so they can declare their income and pay the necessary tax. Argentina is doing their best effort to collect more taxes, this is one of their plan and it looks like crypto user there should follow this especially if you’re already on a CEX platform.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 01, 2022, 09:36:01 PM
Those horses are well maintained or maybe got an overdose and the result is really bad. I rarely see horses died during the race, I follow some of the site that offers a horse racing and watch it online, as I can see they are all good. Horse racing is legal, this is why no one is willing to oppose this and become a normal way of gambling. If you really care about the horse, don’t try to place a bet because if you do, you are just supporting it after all.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is using 2fa safe in every way on: May 01, 2022, 09:30:55 PM
as far as I use 2fa there is no security that can be penetrated by hackers, because the security code will always change every 5 seconds. Every wallet and exchange I use must use 2fa , always recommended by them, I'm sure you should install this, although there are always loopholes, but I never lost while using this.
2FA so far are the safest option and yes it changes all the time but it can also be compromised especially if you fall for a hack attempt asking for that pin. Its good to always use the security option available on that wallet, don’t hesitate to use it because its for your own good and you have the money to protect, better to be safe always.
1045  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading courses on: May 01, 2022, 09:16:04 PM
i'm looking for a good trading course. i found some good ones on udemy based on reviews but im not quite sure if they are actually worth it. i dont know how to value them. i want to learn trading from A to Z step by step without jumping here and there on youtube. ive been doing quite till now but i feel i have knowledge gaps. if u can please link me to some nice courses i'll be thankfull.
I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about Udemy so I think you can try that one and spend some, if you think its not worth it quit right away. Honestly, I just learn how to trade on youtube and on reading books more about tradings, if you want someone to guide you personally better to look for a local trader in your place and ask him for a help. Its good that you really want to learn how to trade properly, I’m confident you can be more successful in the future if you continue this kind of attitude.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Fet.ai a good token? on: May 01, 2022, 09:08:11 PM
I bought it when it cost at 0.32 waiting for it to reach at least 0.40 and now it's worth like 0.27, at some point will pump right? rigth?
This is a normal scenario, if you are already doubt about this project better to start the cutting loss and look for other good project. I wonder why many newbies are still buying a token that they are not familiar with, also its better to have a target price and take profit if you already have the chance. I don’t see any big innovation about this project, I think it will continue to drop so better to sell now and go for the best coins in the market.
1047  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia suspends gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria for failing to pay in rouble on: May 01, 2022, 08:54:18 PM
I was expecting to see some European countries do not accept paying the gas price in the rouble to Russia, however doing this will bring many problems for them and they will have issues with supplying gas for their people, by doing so the gas price in Poland Bulgaria and raise and this will make people unhappy also their government should start seeking for a new gas supplier to replace Russia and this will be a pain because finding another gas supplier can a problem but if you are forced for it this will be even harder, but still doing this can be a great a step forward for the rest of European countries.

Most countries have not paid in pieces of paper with the name "ruble", and will not pay. In addition to the Kremlin "litters" such as Hungary, not a single normal consumer paid attention to the tantrums of the Kremlin Fuhrer, and they continue to pay according to the terms of the contract. Let's create a list of countries here who pays in EURO and who pays in Rubles? And compare the balance? Don't you want? Smiley
Russia stands to his threat and starts not to supply the gas for not paying in Ruble, those countries took the risk as well and now facing the problem same thing with Russia. If you have the gas supply, you can really hold it especially if they didn’t meet your terms. I don’t know how long Russia can handle this but EU countries are also suffering because of this, this is a domino effect.
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 01, 2022, 08:32:26 PM
3$ - hard earned money? And busted at $98 ? If you really worked hard to get these 3 dollars, why dont you stopped when you had, lets say 15$ ? Your greed lead to obvious result. You cant win always. If you hadnt lost at 98$, you could have lost at 99$, or 100$ or at even bigger summer. You should have controlled your emotions better.
He started with a small bet and while in game, he increases his bet until he lose everything. He becomes greedy while gambling and most probably, let his own emotion control his decision which is not good if you’re into gambling. Losing is normal in gambling, but if you don’t have the money for gambling better not to gamble at all.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trustable currency on: April 30, 2022, 09:58:49 PM
Guys, Can you really name the coins/tokens that you trust the most?
Most trusted coin will always depend on your own analysis, to trust a coin you should already know the risk of it and of course know when to buy and sell. I do love Bitcoin for long term holding, I know its risk and I believe that it will be worth it. Altcoins are good as well, its just that you can’t fully trust them and better to just do your trading based on the price trend and not based on your emotion.
1050  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin is too volatile? Bitcoin VS Netflix, Apple, FB, PayPal, ..etc on: April 30, 2022, 09:52:27 PM
It’s like comparing Centralised Vs. decentralised assets. Pretty much obvious from the graph how liquidity is getting affected for bitcoin due to its free nature. There is no guarantee how much liquidity will be available in the pool for today and tomorrow. If checked correctly the calculation could go down to volumes traded at any given hour. It’s constantly changing. However in centralised nature most of the companies shares and stocks are secured by investor relations and companies board of directors. So many things goes into these two type of assets and that’s how they behave on those graphs.
Probably in stocks they are playing by the books and while in Bitcoin, its pure speculation and of course a hype or a fud affects the price of Bitcoin. This may not be a good comparison but as we can see on the trend, the whole market is indeed on a down trend right now, maybe because of the global crisis that is on-going on many countries, the volatility are also based on the economic situation. Bitcoin is too volatile but it doesn’t mean stocks are more safer, you still need to analyze.
1051  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance blocks crypto accounts of relatives tied to the Russian government on: April 29, 2022, 09:59:06 PM
Regardless of their relationship to the government official of Russia, Binance should not do this because this is cryptocurrency and this actions are really different from their first statement, for sure other countries also put big pressure on Binance to do this because if they don’t they will surely face consequences. Well, Binance is centralized so what can we expect? Once the US government tells them what to do they can’t say NO to that. Better to have a hard wallet after all, its too risky to trust CEX that much.
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Future after Elon Musk Buy Twitter ? on: April 29, 2022, 09:52:38 PM
Twitter is a private company already, and that’s why they are able to sold the company to Elon.
I don’t think they will require subscription on this platform, because many can’t afford it and of course many are still not familiar with cryptocurrency. I understand the hope but in reality, this is just a hype and most probably will never happen. DOGE is not owned by Elon as far as I know, Elon just made a tweet and people react on that its too risky for me.
1053  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: April 29, 2022, 09:48:31 PM

I do agree that NFT is a business decision, but at the same time we make some business decisions fo rthem, such as if they keep on putting up NFT collections back to back to back and keep doing that instead of focusing on casino part, we could leave and go to another casino. While trying to make money based on NFT, they will lose their casino and the nFT worths nothing without the casino. Doesn't mean that its bad right now, its doing alright, but they need to find that perfect balance where people who are here for the casino leave because it turns to an NFT place and nothing more, they need to keep us gamblers happy at all times as well.
They will surely know the effect of having more NFTs that’s why they are limiting its supply and just chill because this is only part of their marketing strategy and you can see, the gambling are still rewarding on their site and they remain committed to provide quality project. Let’s not over react here and just see this NFT adoption as a great innovation done by Rollbit, but if you think it will compromise the site, you have the option to stay or switch to another site, that’s your choice and Rollbit can’t do anything about that.
We cannot force everyone to adopt, and even if this is a good innovation some can still say negative things about it so better to focus on your own belief and as long as you think Rollbit is still a safe site to gamble, you can continue as much as you want. This NFT introduction of Rollbit was a great one, you can still see huge number of supporters  compare to haters, most probably they can’t just own Rollbot because its expensive.

1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: April 28, 2022, 09:53:49 PM
Another great Filipino boxer to face a great boxer too, they both undefeated and its good to see Magsayo will defend his title against a great boxer too. We might not satisfied the way Magsayo fight on his previous match but still, he’s a good one and most probably he will do everything to remain undefeated and defend his title. This is an exciting match for this year, I’ll cheer for Magsayo on this.

1057  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: avoid scam telegram groups , find useful tools and channels on: April 25, 2022, 09:55:35 PM
Talking to avoid scam telegram groups, but you offered anyone to join your groups since you claimed it's legit group.

Yes, we should avoid all groups including you.
I thought this thread is a serious warning not to join signal or scam group but looking at the link that OP shared, I think its different from the message of the title. Its really need to avoid any unfamiliar group, its better to join a group that works with the project you are planning to invest with, just don’t join on any signal group because its too risky and its useless, you will just lose money if you follow their tips.
1058  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: April 25, 2022, 09:49:14 PM
parang madaming mag quiquit sa origin kapag hindi worth it ang rewards, sa pvp kasi masyadong time consuming parang umaabot na sa 10th round.

Kaya nga, isipin mo na lang..

Longer play time = frustration lalo na kapag laging talo
Frustration is bad for our health.
Reward = less and less

Stressful sya before kase we all want to make more money pero ngayon, medyo chill nalang talaga ang no pressure na kase hinde naman ganoon kalake ang kikitain mo sa isang araw kaya no need na magseryoso unlike before. Start na ng bagong season, sana after this eh magbunga na ang lahat ng updates nila. Laro lang at ienjoy ang game, makakabawe ren ang iba dito.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: April 25, 2022, 09:46:41 PM
For many Bitcointalk users, trust system is very important, so in my opinion hiring experienced users by casinos can have a positive effect. For a long time now, projects have hired bounty managers to create ANN threads in the Altcoin section. I don't see a problem for casinos to start doing this here.
without a good marketing plan it will be difficult for new gambling sites to compete with old and trusted ones, just look at every gambling site handled by hhampuz and yahoo will definitely be a big success. Marketing tricks like this have proven to be effective and worth trying for new gambling sites that want to compete in the market.
Indeed, good marketing should also be one of the priority of the new gambling site and having a partnership with the trusted user here or manager is also a good decision. Now, let’s see if more new site will do the same thing, this forum has very effective on making a new site successful so I can see a good site if its being managed by the good manager.
1060  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone care about the environment? on: April 25, 2022, 09:40:12 PM
Its very frustrating to see the situation of our environment right now but as a normal we can’t do anything about it aside from doing our little contribution. Those scientist knows the reality and the government should listen to then, better to talk about this in the right forum. Bitcoin is not affected by this, though eventually people will panic if they see big changes on the environment, for now we can’t see the effect on this one in cryptomarket.
